This place really is my favorite! I stop by every time I fly into town and when I say I’m back “in town” it means I drive another 45 minutes each way just to get it!! Obsessed with the crispiness, freshness, and how juicy the chicken tenders are. And I personally love loading on the parmesan garlic rub. Yummmmmmm

I'm always on the lookout for the best chicken/wing places. Some would even say I'm a chicken snob 😏.. I work in this area and saw tons of recommendations for this place so I said why not. I'm GLAD I took the chance - I ordered the 7 wing combo for pick up. The chicken was hot, super crispy and so so good. Even driving it back to work it held up the crispiness. It also came with fries that I added Cajun seasoning to it (additional 60 cents) and they were one of the best fries I've had in awhile. Perfect crisp, with just the right amount of Cajun seasoning. I'm definitely coming back.

The workers there were so sweet and nice! Very welcoming ! Very patient! The wings were delicious!!!! They were so crispy and the chicken was well good quality! Didn’t taste rubbery or nothing like fast food wings! The garlic Parmesan loved how it was covered in that seasoning! Delicious!!

Amazing price, kind people, and delicious chicken! I’ve been coming here regularly since I’ve come to the area, and it’s always worth the stop.

Ordered here for the first time today. Got the 15 tender family pack. The owner was sitting at the counter when I walked in. Very friendly and great customer service. Willing to sub the onion rings for fried mushroom. Chicken tenders were some of the juiciest, and definitely THE MOST TENDER I’ve ever had. Enough food to feed my small family 2 or 3 times. I was expecting such a small place to take 30+ minutes for such a large order. I would not have been upset if that were the case, but it took less than 10 minutes and it was all fresh. Fries are battered, fried mushrooms are amazing. Probably frozen but that doesn’t make them any less delicious. Popcorn chicken was meh, but the chicken tenders made up for those by a mile. I’m not a huge sauce guy but the honey mustard was awesome. If your looking for a small hidden gem and you are craving chicken tenders than this is your place.

Chicken Lit easily takes the top spot in Naperville for fried chicken in my books. The owner and chef Michael takes pride in his craft with the standard that "if I won't feed it to my children I won't sell it." This is why he highlights that the color of his chicken is light, not dark. Because a lighter color indicates a fresh oil! Our family has been coming to Chicken Lit frequently and we can't get enough of the tenders and wings! Their chicken burger is also really delicious. The house sauce YUMMY also defines their food, YUMMY!

We went here and I was glad it wasn’t busy because we were able to grab a table. I think there were about 3 tables. We ordered the 7 piece combo chicken tenders and 7 piece combo chicken wings. We got the yummi sauce and Asian bing. After the first bite I was in awe because this has to be the most succulent chicken I’ve ever tasted in Illinois. The two sauces compliment the chicken. Fries were good and not too salty. The cucumber salad and toast helped cleanse your palate. I will be returning here.

We have gotten catering here many times. By far the best chicken tenders we have gotten from anywhere. From birthday parties to union meetings the food has always been a hit!

WOW this place has the biggest wings I've ever seen! And they're a great price for the size as well. Wings always come out super crunchy but still tender and their Szechuan dry seasoning is really good. They always have such a great selection of sauces as well. Glad this place is getting the recognition it deserves, the owner is so nice and friendly and you know the food is gonna be good when there's an Asian kid taking your order and doing homework haha!

My second time here! This place incredible. I came in for the first time and didn't know what to expect but I saw the overall 4.8 rating and went in. I ordered the tenders and in no time flat, the chicken arrived. The chicken was so crispy and so tender that it was almost spiritual. DEFINITELY coming back again!

Had seen a foodie video raving over this place. I went with the 3 finger combo. Really enjoyed it and the mango habanero dipping sauce was not too hot. Definitely better than Raising Canes. They only offer canned sodas. Everything was cooked to order and was pippin hot. Small dining area and very clean. Friendly greeting both entering and leaving. Great value too.

Good meat - cooked perfectly. Only issue is you can tell some of the sauces aren't homemade. Ranch is Hidden Valley, BBQ is sweet Baby Rays. Save the money and just use the sauces you have at home.

Just ate here today for lunch, and it's an easy 5 stars! Super affordable popcorn chicken ($2something for 10pcs!) that was made fresh, not dry at all, with a satisfying meat to crunchy breading ratio. My husband and I decided to order the wings over the tenders, and wow, we were impressed with how crunchy, delicious, and fresh everything tasted. Great variety of sauces and dry rubs offered. We tried their Asian bing and yummy sauces, plus their garlic dry rub. Friendly service and memorably delicious fried chicken. Looking forward to visiting again next time we're in the area :)

Great chicken/fries, well run business, super good pricing. Hard to beat around the Naperville area.

This place has some of the best chicken around. Not an easy feat with so much competition in and around the area. This is a takeout spot and they do catering/party trays. Tenders, wings, fries and more. Very straightforward menu which means focus on good tasting chicken. Their chicken is fried in good oil because every time I order from here, you get that nice golden color and fresh fried taste. Get the yummy sauce. Crowd favorite. Asian bing is also good. Can't go wrong with all the sauces they offer. This place is great for a lunch/dinner or party. One of the few places I frequent because of the good service and attention to detail.

It's a no brainer 5 stars. Doesn't matter if you prefer large breasts, perfectly crisp wings or juicy chicken in general. Wings are large, perfectly cooked, legitimately. Anything chicken is the best you will find around. Fries are good and toast is decent. Unreal flavor and perfect crisp, even with being takeout. Don't pass it up

With kids running the front of the house and parents running the back of the house, this was an amusing scene to walk into. It was a bit chaotic, but comical. The chicken is cooked very well. Seasoned generously. Very crispy. I got the spicy sandwich. It was really really good. My only complaint is that I wish it were made of a chicken breast and not 3 tenders. It fell apart a little too easily while I ate it. House fries: gooooooood. Sweet Potato fries: gooooood. Onion rings: gooooood. Extra bonus points for the little handmade art store. I'll have to remember to bring change next time.

Holy moly this place is so worth. The wait was really long because they were really busy all day, so I'd suggest calling ahead. First of all, $2 for 10 popcorn chicken?? That's freaking nutty. We got plain and lemon pepper popcorn chicken. It was good, but the lemon pepper seasoning was a little too light. They pair well with any sauce, though. Crosstown lemon pepper is still da best. For the chicken, we got wings with yummi, Asian zing, honey mustard, and I forget the last one.. BBQ maybe? They threw in a Sichuan dry rub for free. Anyways, the wings don't come with the sauce or rub applied. This is good because you can control how much you want. The drawback is it's more work for lazy people like me. All of the sauces were pretty solid; I think Sichuan dry rub was my favorite. I've never had that with fried chicken but its such a good idea. MOUTH WATERING JUST THINKING ABOUT IT. The spicy chicken sandwich was FANTASTIC! The buns were SO FREAKING GOOD. The chicken was very crispy as well, but I think most of the flavor was concentrated in that delicious buttered bun/spicy sauce combo. Sandwich is barely spicy, and the lettuce is just the right amount (I feel like sandwiches usually have too much lettuce). They are super generous with the fries. The fries were really crispy, onion rings were super crispy... I'm satisfied. Honestly, this place is cheaper and mostly better than Crosstown. It's a nice family-owned restaurant. What a great find hehehoho

I get cravings for this place, especially the tenders and honey-hot sauce. Sometimes I even get a taste for that weird slice of bread they put in with the meal. I keep saying I'm going to try something new, but why try to improve on perfection! Most of the time I order through Door Dash, which is super fast and convenient. I did order in person once, and the guy could not have been nicer!

First things first- it was BUSY!! Normally long lines would make me wary of the quality but lemme tell you somethin' ...quality was THERE! We went one hour before close and it was WORTH the wait. The food was so crispy and delicious! The chicken tenders were hot, juicy, and cooked to perfection (not just a figure of speech... actual perfection). We got Yummi, Asian Bing, Mango Habanero, and Honey Mustard Sauce! Although it's a small space, and small family staff- the staff was very attentive and made sure everyone was helped. You can forget about going to any other place for fried chicken in Naperville - this has got to be the go-to spot. I called around noon and placed a takeaway order, and it was ready in half an hour. The chicken was juicy and the batter was light but so so crunchy! Not like other places where you bite into a piece and end up with a mouthful of heavy flour crisp. Even without any sauce it's got some flavor to it and I was fine with just that too. I got the Yummy sauce since I was curious to know what it was. For anyone who's curious, the sauce honestly reminded me of what the sauce would be if you ordered coconut shrimp at a Chinese restaurant. Not necessarily a bad thing, but I personally don't enjoy sweet sauces with my chicken, so I wasn't a huge fan. Crispy chicken burger isn't too much to rave about, but I did definitely appreciate the amount of chicken they put on it. Otherwise it was just Mayo, lettuce, and onions. All in all, this local spot is absolutely worth coming to, especially if you're looking to get a good fix of fried chicken. Will be back!!

Food is delicious some of the best fried chicken in the suburbs. The employees are very nice and helpful, I just explain I am disabled and they brought out my pick up order.

We've gotten chicken tenders and wings from Chic Lit several times and we've ALWAYS been totally satisfied with our food. The quality, quantity, and price point are great.

Drove past thousand of times and finally tried it and what a gem this place is. The chicken are huge, succulent, crispy and flavorful fried batter and their house special sauce 'yummi' is spectacular!! What more can you ask for?!

Ordered tenders overall above average, nice breading, special sauce was good but not as flavorful as Raising Caines. Tenders could of been seasoned a little better. Texas toast tasted like it had an artificial butter like movie theatre style butter. When initially placing the order, the front guy was totally out of it, like we were an inconvenience , not sure what the deal was. Overall good but in my opinion not as good as Raising Caine or Chick-fil-A.

The chicken wings are cooked to perfection. The batter is amazing. They are consistently prepared well. To me, no sauce is needed.

I've ordered for takeout twice here and it's been great, especially for party trays. The chicken is so good and the sauces pair well with it! Be sure to order ahead, there's typically a long line for takeout. This is definitely a place to check out if you love fried chicken. Highly recommend!

Went again to Chicken Lit. This is place is awesome! Chicken is fresh, not frozen. You can taste that they use fresh oil. It seems like it's just a small family operation. Lots of sauces. Lots of apps. They have some seafood options. The place is small so the food might take a little while. Most of it is fried after all. Can't recommend high enough. They will give you a 10% discount for paying in cash.

I was not expecting to have the best chicken tenders I ever had. If you have not tried this place yet, GO. This place does not disappoint. Very kind and humble service. This is also a great hangout spot to kick it and eat some really good food. Wow.

This is an interesting little gem. It is family run, with the kids running the front of the house and taking your order. The food is fantastic. One of my favorite places to get chicken. I usually get the tenders or the popcorn chicken. They have an array of sauces to choose from and the chicken is very tender and crispy

As a snack for a social gathering, I ordered 50 pieces of chicken tenders to be picked up two days later at 5:00p. The proprietor texted me to say the order was ready, and urged me to pick up. I guess I was distracted...and I didn't remember to pick up until around 6:15p. I called, then rushed over. The couple who were working were very pleasant and let me know that they were re-doing my order to make sure it was fresh & hot. I offered to reimburse them for the waste I had created due to my lapse. They wouldn't hear of it. The gentleman who was doing the cooking brought the fresh batch to me...and seeing that I had a bad back very graciously carried the box of tenders to my car...with a smile and thanks for my patronage. The chicken was excellent...there is no better; the special treatment due to my error was over-the-top. A wonderful experience!

This place is definitely super cute to stop by for a quick bite or if you want something quick and easy. It's a family owned business and there's a cute little kid who takes your order. The menu is vast and there are so many options to choose from. I tried the chicken poppers, onion rings, tenders, and garlic toast. I liked everything except the chicken poppers. They just weren't my favorite, but again, everything else was delicious. There's a small dining area, but it's not really a sit down restaurant. There's also no public bathrooms. Another tip is to bring cash because you get 10% off if you pay in cash.

This is my favorite spot in Naperville for quick chicken with great sauces! The service is fast and friendly with great recommendations. I go to school locally and it is a hit with students as well! Extremely reasonable pricing. The yummi sauce is my personal favorite but Asian bing is great as well! It is definitely a hidden gem in Naperville, I highly recommend Chicken Lit.

Tried their wings for the first time last night. Great flavor, perfectly cooked. They had the right amount of crispness and not greasy like normal wings tend to be. The selection of dipping sauces are what you'd expect, but the wings tasted great even without sauce. This will definitely be a go to for wing night!

I am happy during the pandemic the NFL is proceeding. There are a couple of food groups I enjoy to compliment a televised game. Wings are one of them. And I am glad that I have good yelper peers direction to Chicken Lit with their 4 to 5 star reviews. I must join them in giving such high reviews and I will explain why. Great service, SEASONED wings (just can't get that nowadays), CRISPY wings, juicy wings, meaty wings. Wings!!! Wings and NFL Games. Chicken Lit and NFL Games. Goes together like PB and J! Now the sauces are on the side for every order while the rubs are applied on the wings. Cool. Next time, can I get the wings tossed in the sauce? I would love to try it that way! It is going to be a great football season with Chicken Lit (even though my team is 1-3 right now :-() One last note, don't go to place down the street that has their towns crossed up!!! Come here for the wings, then go to that place for libations! Chicken Lit you light my fire!!!

This place has the best chicken tenders I have ever had. The breading is so light and the chicken is super juicy. Having all the creative and delicious seasonings and flavors, as well as the sauces just makes Chicken Lit the best!

First and foremost the owner is very humble and takes pride in his business and it shows in the food. Me and my wife had the 5 piece whole wing and the 5 piece party wing and let me tell you they were the best I've had in a while we also added 1 tender and the popcorn chicken it tasted like it was made in my grandmothers kitchen. I highly recommend stopping by if your ever in the area !!!

Just recently discovered this place and it's my new favorite chicken place! The menu is all reasonably priced, and they always have daily specials and deals going on so make sure to ask. The popcorn chicken as a side is great as you get a lot for cheap, and the wings are fried to perfection. I thought the chicken sandwich was kinda expensive, but it came with fries and the bun was super good, so worth getting at least once! This place is made to order and primarily a takeout spot so make sure to call in at least 30min before you want to pickup so you don't have to wait as long!

Really delicious chicken tenders. You can tell that they make these fresh to order. These are hands down the best chicken tenders I've had. We ordered a family meal which was really good value for money. It seems to be a family run operation so please be patient with then. It might take a little longer but the food is worth the wait.

To be or not to b? Chicken Lit VS Raising Cane? Questions we all want answers to. So I made my way to this small location in Naperville. I ordered 5 strips it comes with fries and a piece of buttered toast. Mine were hot and crisp where as cane is more hot and moist. The bread and fries were just standard. But good. They have different sauces one is yummy sauce. There counter to cane sauce. It's tasty. I don't believe in ties but this place is pretty much a tie with raising cane, however they offer seasonings to i had the cajun and lemon pepper seasoning. There sprinkled lightly on chicken after they come out of fryer, they have 3 other seasonings I will try on anotger visit. They also have some noodles, orange chicken, and other Asian dishes, i believe the owners our Asian. So far so good, to be continued...
