Chicken N Pickle- Allen

The first time I visited I had a good experience. Two young ladies greeted us and took our order promptly. The food was served fresh and hot, my margarita was made perfectly and was very tasty. The servers and other staff members checked on us periodically and we enjoyed ourselves. However, my second experience there was Not up to par. I brought my mother and others so they could check out the establishment and have the same experience I had initially. Unfortunately, this visit we received poor service, barely warm food, it took over 30 minutes before we were greeted and had our orders taken. Our server was young and had not been trained properly. Once things got confusing for them they went inside the establishment and we didn't see them again for the remaining time we were there. No one checked on us for 20+ minutes during our time there. We received the wrong drinks and when we asked for the correct drinks (frozen margaritas) they came out messy and sloppy, looking nothing like they usually look! One of the managers came over and seemed irritated that we refused drinking the poorly prepared melting drinks. It frustrated my mother and son so much they vowed to never return. :( It sucks because I really wanted them to enjoy themselves like I had during my first visit so we could make visiting the restaurant a regular occurrence. Went there with friends and family. Love their indoor courts. Plenty of parking but we didn’t know where the entrance was at. There were 2 entrances and we missed both of them. Maybe the way the building is situated. There were plenty of spaces to hang out even if you are not playing pickle ball. Other yard games available. There are also lots of seating spaces for food inside or outside. There is a bar as well inside. They also do birthday parties and saw thy were setting up for it. Staffs will come to take orders when you raise flag if you are playing indoor. They also provide water stations as well. Overall was a good experience for our group. They do have a great chicken and waffles. Highly recommend that as a meal.

Great first visit to Chicken N Pickle (Allen, TX) location. Ample parking and a great first impression when walking in. The outside pickle ball courts were clean, lively music and seemed pretty spacious. We were indoors. The courts were clean, the servers were very nice and continued to check on us while we were there (1.5 hours). The menu selection included handheld bites along with larger entrees. Beer and regular beverages were also available for purchase. If you're looking for a fun, casual time with family or friends, I'd recommend.

My family and I have visited other locations in the DFW area. We are so glad there is one closer to home. Food was great, service was fantastic and the only “complaint was the small tables. With a family of 4 getting all the food and drinks comfortably on the tables was challenging on the outside area. Otherwise, highly recommend and will be back.

They offer a great variety of drinks and a well-rounded menu with plenty of tasty options to choose from. I recently attended a networking event here, and it was the perfect setting. The lively yet relaxed atmosphere makes it easy to connect with people. If you're looking for a place to host a networking event or just meet new people, I would absolutely recommend Chicken N Pickle. It's a definite green light!

The food is surprisingly fantastic for a sports-style venue. The rotisserie chicken is juicy and flavorful, the sandwiches are great, and the shareable appetizers are perfect for a group. It’s a place where you can grab a great meal and actually feel good about the quality. The courts are clean and well-kept, and playing here is always a blast. The only downside is that the court service can be very slow at times, especially during busy hours. It’s not a deal-breaker by any means, but it’s worth planning for if you’re trying to stay on schedule. Server needed some training but the food came up dash and fresh. Enjoyed the layback atmosphere. Prob could use some shaded screen on the west court.
