Chicken N Pickle - Grand Prairie

Got to visit Chicken N Pickle with the family, and we all had a blast. The food was solid—everyone ordered something different and agreed it was great value for the dollar. There were games for all ages, so no one felt left out. I even got in some pickleball, and the hour we reserved flew by—it was that fun. As an added bonus, we caught a water show from afar, which just added to the whole vibe. Overall, it was a great experience and a real bonding moment for all of us, all thanks to the fun, welcoming environment Chicken N Pickle created. Definitely worth the visit.

We celebrated our son’s graduation here and rented out the upper level floor, Absolutely had a great time! From the minute we booked with Krissy, I knew we made a good choice on location. The service was great, Jeffrey & Sarah were wonderful at helping with my every need, as well as the other young ladies there. The food was delicious and everyone kept returning for more. Not a single complaint about anything, everything was great! I definitely recommend renting out a spot here, for any type of occasion. :) Thank you guys again, you all were fantastic!! <3

Came with our basketball organization and the server we had was amazing! You all give Jamie a high five and a job well done. She was very attentive to our 3D Texas Basketball group and made sure we had all we needed. Very positive attitude and demeanor the entire time. We had a fabulous time annd experience and will be back! Great service and atmosphere 🙌

First time coming to chicken N pickle. It was a great experience! I definitely recommend reserving a court. Everything about this facility was spotless, and employees we're very helpful. If you go, I recommend trying the Chipotle bowl. 🙃

Highly enjoyed every aspect of this location. Very polite and helpful staff. Our first time experiencing Chicken N Pickle and it was an amazing time. The food is very fresh and the drinks are made with fresh local produce. $6 Margaritas also available all day. Spotless facilities. Very approachable for a first time player, as well as a seasoned player. A gem in the Dallas area.

Came here for a outing with some friends, and had a great time! For reference: we didn't engage in pickleball due to weather at the time, (cold + rainy) but we did enjoy the food and drinks. 1. Guava paloma- a must try, and you can get this in frozen or on the rocks- both are delicious. 2. fried pickles- my friend ordered these and they were a hit (dip in the ranch) 3. The HOT chicken sandwich + sweet potato fries - you get a huge portion, had to cut the sandwich in half and the slaw that's on there was really good! The sweet potato fries were good also and were great alone, without ketchup, and not soggy. Will definitely come back again to try something different and to check out the outdoor area when the weather gets warmer.

The service was great! The food and fun was great! Lots of games for kids and of course the pickle ball was the reason for the season. It was the kids first time and they had a great time. The food and service was great! Garrett did a great job of making sure our party was happy. We were here for a family reunion. I recommend this place to anyone.

Easy to reserve your court & complete waiver online. Fast check-in in person. Cold Water kept out for you to be able to get yourself. We enjoy the option of indoor courts. They had the AC & fans going and TV with sports on. We didn't see a waitress this visit but we also didn't need one - surely could have hunted one down if we did need one. I didn't take away any stars for it but one of our courts had a partially smashed grape and some trash in the corner from a guest before us. Lots of dust bunnies along the wall and especially in the corner. But the counters, tables & rest appeared clean. We had a great time playing with the family and will be back.

We came on a Saturday night when it was kind of chilly outside. It was definitely a vibe by staying out with family, friends, children dogs. We didn't play pickle ball, but we did play a little cornhole. Great place to go on a date night or for a bite to eat or to hang with friends to get a drink next time I'll try the rooftop bar.

Me and a couple of friends went here for the first time yesterday and I have very mixed feelings about this place. First, we got there before our reservation time and it took nearly 15 minutes to even get someone's attention. We did ask to switch igloos which we could, but that also took away from our reservation time. To be fair, there was literally no one else upstairs so I still don't understand why it took so long to get anything done. It also took us nearly an hour to get our food and drinks from the time we arrived. The food was cold and to be honest it was disgusting. I had to force my wings down, and they were super salty, and everyone else felt similar about their options. The drink I ordered was supposed to be hot, but it was lukewarm at best by the time I received it. We then reserved an outdoor pickle ball spot so when we headed down, we were immediately chased down and told we had to close out even though they put all of our cards on a tab. Now, up to that point the service was slow and inconsistent, but the minute we get up to play pickle ball, they suddenly can move faster. The only reason I would give them one star was for the employee that ran my check across to the other building, so I did not have to go back, aside from that this place has terrible customer service, the igloos are freezing, which isn't the fault of the business, but Beware that you need to bring your own blankets and dress and layers if you're going to sit and stay inside. We did not last our entire reservation inside because it was just too cold. The pickle ball itself was cool, and the only reason we should have came, but as far as eating and drinking, you would do better going elsewhere .

Great place to hangout with friends. Delicious food and margarita (a little kick). Fast service. Surrounding area is vibrant. Happy Holidays!

We brought a large group here and it was great! They worked with us in a pinch on a last minute reservation, servers were great and showed patience, food was good! We didn't get to do the fun stuff because it was chilly but overall a great experience.

What a cool place with so much space and so much to do! A variety of games and tons of seating options. There's multiple courts to play on, indoor and outdoor, with a really nice atmosphere. The menu has a nice selection and there's even a bar! I got a chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries. The food was pretty good and the service was nice. I would highly recommend, especially on a nice summer night

Great place to get a quick workout and chill out. Lots of pickleball courts (indoor and outdoor), but they also have cornhole, large-scale battleship, and so many other games. This place is a large indoor and outdoor gym! Plus it's a restaurant! Plus it's a bar (with tons of specialty drinks)! The staff personnel are friendly and attentive.

Went there for a dinner with coworkers! And it was a game night ‍! We stayed in the line to order food for almost an hour!!! Poor lady at the cashier it wasn't her fault but they need more help with cashiers!! We ordered the southern chicken sandwich and chicken cacsadia! Food was okay not that good and definitely not worth waiting an hour in line for it!! And we had stomach upset at night The only good thing about that place is the open-air area is really good and you can watch games or you can play with your friends!

This was our first time coming to Chicken n Pickle and I'm sure it won't be our last. For starters, reservations at a reasonable time (such as 10am) are pretty hard to get if you are wanting to play inside. There are lots of courts and lots of options such as covered, uncovered, indoor, completely outdoor. I would suggest booking your court way in advance so you can have more options. The place itself if pretty large. We came in on a Saturday morning at 9am and enjoyed our time playing pickle ball. The check in was smooth, the courts were clean and we were right next to an outdoor bar (closed at the time) and the restrooms. They have a large grassy area that had other game options (such as connect 4 and corn hole) as well. I loved that this place is also dog friendly! After we played, we decided to grab a bite to eat at the restaurant. There was a little confusion as to what time they were open at though... The signs and all the TVs say that they serve brunch starting at 10:30am, however, when we went inside the restaurant, they said they didn't open until 11am. We ended up waiting 15 min before they officially "opened" to order- no biggie. We ordered a breakfast burrito and a chicken and waffle plate. They were decent, but nothing amazing. Overall, we enjoyed our experience here and would like to come back a little later in the day to play pickle ball again!

I can only rate it as a restaurant since I'm not a drinker. The casual setting is great, I passed by many times and I thought pickle was for dill pickles. The service is great, most of the staff is trained to smile, only a few angry birds. We decided to stop for lunch on a sunny Sunday afternoon. We didn't know what to order but we decided on a couple of bowls, a guac, and a chicken pickle sandwich (with bacon), and a grilled corn for the side. One bowl was quinoa, beets and dried cranberries. She liked it, totally a winner. Second bowl was a chipotle chicken with steamed cilantro lime rice. It was 65% rice, 20% slaw, and 15% strip of chicken breast drizzled with a famous Mexican brand chipotle can sauce (you can taste the can), the slaw was a mayo based cole slaw. Since the chipotle chicken was disappointing, I ordered the chicken pickle sandwich, with a side of grilled corn (flame broiled corn on the cob), it was delicious. The chicken pickle sandwich (pickle brined chicken), I was expecting fried chicken, instead I got a flame grilled chicken breast sandwich with some white cheese on top, plus 2 large strips of bacon that hung over the sides. The bacon was not totally crispy, so the slaw made it soft, but it was smoky and thick. Overall it was an average experience. Looking forward to the next time.

Chicken N Pickle in Grand Prairie is absolutely awesome! The food was amazing, the staff was incredibly helpful, and the atmosphere was top-notch. With great music playing both inside and outside, it's the perfect spot for a fun time. The courtyard with its huge games to play was a hit with everyone, and on the other side of the courtyard, they have pickleball--hence the name of the restaurant. They also have music bingo while you wait for your food or play while eating, and you can win a gift card--my daughter actually won bingo the night we went! Her reaction was priceless. I honestly think they need to bring this place to California--it would be a huge success!

My review is based on the service. We had a large group reservation for the courts and were unable to make it in time. We spoke to a manager and we were able to reach a good compromise where both parties felt happy. All the employees were courteous and professional. Also, our server came back a few times to check in on us after we ordered to see if we needed anything else. The sandwich I ordered was also very delicious. It was super messy but I think it's part of the fun. Definitely give this place a try.

Hosted a team building activity here for my group of 35ppl and everyone had an amazing time. We also reserved 2 pickle ball court and also had access to the corn hole boards. We order apps for arrival followed by dinner 1 hour later and everything was really good. I love that they also have healthy food options to choose from. The salad a were delicious. They were extremely accommodating to us. I would definitely host a team meeting here again.

Okay my first time coming to this place .. and to my surprise there was so many kids , it's a variety of adults playing pickle ball or corn-hole, or watching the game inside drinking beer , there's a full bar on the main bar, you can get different drafts and all the drinks they offer , there's another bar that offers half the variety of drinks , a few pickle ball courts , nice place very trendy. Just so many kids lol maybe because I went during the day lol I'm thinking it's prob another vibe in the evening.. we shall come back and see lol. Service was great overall, lots of employees walking around cleaning up around, and ready to help. I just did not like the fake plastic glass like cups , I hated drinking my beer out of it, but they have to be plastic to walk around.. safety first! You can reserve a spot , not sure what the price is for it. But we had about 30 people in our court . Some standing, some playing .. overall a good place to come chill have a few drinks and play!

I didn't get the food, but I did get a chance to play pickleball on both the indoor and covered outdoor courts. The facilities were well-maintained, with clean courts and the indoor area kept at a comfortable temperature. There's other games and areas to hang out. Wish there were facilities like this in New York!

Pretty fun place! We were with a super large party for my wife's Christmas Party. We actually rented the entire top floor. The food was just ok but we had was buffet style. The highlight was the shrimp for sure. Along side of pickle ball courts they also have activities such as ping pong, corn hole, battle ship and Jinga so plenty to do! They also had 3 bars to choose from. Mind you we went on a Saturday night and the place was jammed packed but the wait times for drinks ran from the time of your order and the time you got your drink was about 30+ plus. Which was a little disappointing. Another critique is that the bathrooms were filthy and seriously needed some attention. I can't wait to go back but was thinking it might be way better to go mid week instead of a packed Saturday night.

I visited this location on a holiday as a walk-in. I know I know what was I thinking! I arrived at 12:30 and the establishment was very busy. I was told by the curly haired young man with the nose ring that there was nothing indoor or out available at the moment and no 1 hour courts for the entire day, so I walked outside to speak with my partner to decide next move. I then went back in to ask the guy what was the next availability because I noticed there were games outside and a restaurant onsite so I had something to occupy time while we waited. He told me only 30mins courts were open and he had 2 time options. I asked for the earlier and that I didn't care whether it was indoor or out. He took my name and payment and told me to come back at 1:55 so he could take us a little earlier. I went to restaurant to eat. Service was overly good, every 5 seconds someone was asking if we needed anything lol. We ordered the lunch special with the brine chicken sandwich and sweet potato fries. Fries were really good and chicken sandwich had absolutely no flavor. I don't have to eat that again. Loved how there are several large format games (jenga, connect 4, battle ship, ping pong, etc) available outside and inside restaurant, with enough TVs and water stations around. And no animals allowed inside the restaurant which I loved! At 1:55 we walked back inside to prepare for our reservation just for the guy to say I was too early and that he booked me for 2:30. I tried to help him remember that he never told me the time of the reservation but that he said come back by 1:55. There were no courts available for me to start earlier and I was very frustrated because I waited all that time when I had other errands to run and that I could have just come back at booked time had I known. Overall I asked for a refund, got it, and left. Don't have to come back, there are other pickleball courts.

Cheese burger sliders, mini hot dogs in bun, roasted potatoes, mini sliced bagels with salmon and capers, veggie plate-celery and carrots, chicken and waffles, guacamole/chips, yoghurt parfait, beet salad-excellent, dessert plate of churros/cookies/brownie. Summary Great location, fun venue, food better at counter than brunch. Free koozie for military.

Fun place for pickleball and something different to do with friends. Queso and tostadas were good. Drinks were yum. Ask for my friend Justin, he bartends and will take care of you

Food was really filling and the serving was very large. Fried pickles, tots and sweet potato fries were fresh. Came on Friday for lunch special. Lots of seating indoor & outdoor. Looks like a fun place to hang out and eat. Only thing that was annoying is that they opened a tab just for us getting lunch. We just want to order and pay and be done with it. We had to get back in line to pay.

Stopped in on a rainy day. I noticed they changes the outside section. They used to have more outdoor activities for the kids but I hadn't been here in a while. The corn, and deviled eggs were my favorite. The drinks aren't anything spectacular but the best thing about this place is that you can get active and eat a meal. The employees ar are always coming around to check on you which is great from a customer service prospective.

This was such a fun day out. It was pouring rain on my husbands birthday and we had dinner booked for the evening so he suggested pickle ball. It was a Tuesday so we managed to secure a court and we hired some paddles, it was our first time. The place is huge half the courts inside, half outside. They also have a restaurant area and a bar. We had some fried pickles and devilled eggs for a snack, both were delicious. Everyone players and staff were friendly and we will definitely come back.

Great place for corporate or group events. Visited because of a company party and everything was so well organized. The only thing I didn't like was the buffet food they served, I think we would have been better off ordering at the front counter like the rest of the patrons instead of having what they provided. They haven't quite figured out large scale meal service yet as some items were burned, dried out, or not tasty. I was extremely impressed with how spacious and well kept the facility was. There is indoor and outside spaces that made it easy to spread out and enjoy playing pickle ball. The indoor eating areas are really impressive. So many cute backdrops too. Would definitely go again as part of a group. I think it's kind of large to go for. Date night or with one friend. This is definitely a place for groups!

We came for the Holiday Hideaway, I'd never been to CnP before and none of the employees seemed to know where the lounge was. Turned out the night we went half the hideaway had been rented out for a holiday party so we didn't get to experience the full lounge. We were actually the only other people there. It's was weird they have you prepay per person, at least we got some apps for the fee - the charcuterie board was alright but the French onion dip was hard to eat with the large rings of onion in it. The cowboys game was on which we didn't mind but after it finished you would have thought they'd put Christmas music on. Actually preferred the regular cocktail menu over the Christmas one. It was an alright experience not as Christmasy as I hoped. Won't do it next year but might go back to CnP for drinks.

A vibrant place with so much space to have fun and hang out. I really enjoyed their white sangria. We were provided with excellent service from the bar. We had their fried pickles and although they were a bit too salty, it was still good. For my entree, I had the pork rib with chicken. I chose the bbq sauce and southwest seasoning on the chicken. The pork rib was really tender and had so much flavor. The chicken was alright and it was still a little pink near the bone. It was kinda strange that it came with a giant tortilla and some avocados like it was trying to be Tex Mex. But oh well, some nice extras.

Love this place! Cameron was our waiter and he was awesome! Very considerate and helpful! There wasn't many vegan food choices but the drinks were yummy! The place is big with indoor and outdoor courts, a restaurant and outdoor space to hang out.

We tried this place recently for a group event and had a great time. The place is huge. Lots of seating inside and a huge patio area with games. The pickle ball courts are nice. They have indoor and outdoor courts. They have plenty of TVs throughout the area to watch games. We didn't try any food, but it looked good. The bar area was nice and had a great selection. The only down side for us was it's a long drive, so it's not a place we would go often.

Went to a group event here and had a blast! I've never played pickle ball before and this was such a fun place to try it out, especially in the summer when it's too hot to spend time outdoors in Dallas. I would definitely recommend choosing Chicken N Pickle for hosting group events

Honestly this place is great . My 3 stars only come from how much it is to play pickle ball if you don't have your own paddles/ball and the hourly price. If you're going just to play I recommend finding a local court instead and investing into your own equipment. The food here is actually decent. I enjoyed their chipotle chicken bowl had lots of flavor . Their chicken is also really good as well! And you're able to pick your own sauces which was a plus for me!

We have heard of this place but we live across the metroplex from it. Since we were in the neighborhood, we decided to give it a try. All the staff were friendly upon entering and helpful when it was time to order. The restaurant and restrooms were clean and the music was good. I ordered the chicken with 2 ribs with jerk seasoning and a side of goat cheese mashed potatoes. We shared the hummus, beets and broccolini. Everything is so good!

Our first time eating here - I have to say, not at all what I was expecting !! The place is Huge with lots of outdoor areas as well as a great indoor dining area. We met a Fabulous lady (Mattie) who explained everything to us. About the restaurant choices as well as how the Pickle Ball courts worked. She was amazing !! While this is probably not a "Casual Dining" location - I can see that it's probably a big upgrade from the Bar Scene. Mattie was wonderful and really gave us a good idea of how things work here. Thank You Mattie !!

Fun spot for a get together. Came here with my sister in law and husband. Over all we enjoyed it. Food is good and comes out fast. Reserve in advance for pickle ball or you won't get a court. Service is friendly. Over all I recommend it

First time here. came with a friend. We were not too impressed. We both got the chicken and waffles on the lunch menu. The waffles were too dense and felt like a cake instead of light and fluffy waffles. The chicken was two large chicken tender pieces served with a tiny cup of syrup. We both got water and was given glasses but was charged for drinks because the entree were 13.99 each but the guy at the register charged me 43 dollars for both our meals. The lobbies are huge but empty. We felt it was very average.

Food was pretty good! Service was alright. Ambience was great! The place is super fun, great for families. It's got tons of seating indoors and outdoors, multiple pickle ball courts and it's right next to this little lake that did a water show!

Phone little place to hangout. Food was great as well. Pickle ball courts were always full, but all the other activities were available.

Vibe is great and all the servers were very sweet. Can't speak for the pickleball since we didn't play but the food is subpar. The queso was good, but don't get the chorizo version bc there isn't really much added lol. The chicken sandwich and the burgers were not it. Overall just a sad food experience. It smells good in there, but maybe it's the barbecue? Would come back to try other things...maybe lol. Do want to try pickle ball here at one point.

Where to begin? Placed our food order then were told we couldn't close our tab until we found a server or bartender. So, we waited 25 minutes until we could place a drink order with the bartender but they said to close with a waiter. Finally the food came which was a bunch of mediocre fryer food that tasted like old oil. Eventually we were able to get our tab from the 3rd waiter that came by. A bunch of fat people food with awful service and bad parking. Wouldn't recommend

This place is a wild card. I dont fully understand the "chicken n pickle" thing because they don't really seem to have a "chicken" thing. Other meats and foods are definitely available. Also the "fast casual" food place vibe is strange because of the way you "start a tab" when you order and then employees just continue to walk around and check if you want anything else. I got a quesadilla with pulled pork and it was honestly disappointing. The pork was super chunky and was not very "pulled" i ended up bringing it home and gave the leftovers to a friend ~ they also said it was mid. The environment is also kind of strange because of the amount of -kids running around -excessive amounts of employees constantly checking in -serious pickle ball enthusiasts pickle-balling around -parties of 20 people wandering around but trying to stay together -parties of 4 people It seems like theres kind of too much going on and i wish there was more organization of the "getting food" "eating food" and "playing games" areas. Theres really a lot going on. I think if you're a serious pickle ball-er and bring your own paddles it might be a chill place to do that but i think they seem to market to "trying it once" type of people which gives a chaotic vibe. However it is cool that they do have so much space for courts, yard games, seating, a bar, etc.. It's an interesting place. I think I'd enjoy it much more if i was having my 12th birthday party here.

Love this place!! It's the best place for outdoor fun with friends. You'll be entertained with a number of games to test your skills and earn some bragging rights amongst your peers: - Jenga - Cornhole -Life Size Beer Pong (Trash cans & volleyballs) -shuffle board -pickle ball -table tennis Most games r free but you gotta rent the pickleball courts which are both indoor and outdoor + rent the paddles too. The service at the bar was good but keep your drinks in your hands when it's an hr before closing time. They WILL clean everything off the tables outside even if your drink is full. As we went in for a last call...They took 3 of our drinks (2 full ones) that were on the table closest to the court we were playing on. Luckily Zoria the manager was kind enough to replace everything that was accidentally taken away. Definitely helped maintain Chik n Pik as my fav place to visit with friends when in town! P.S: They charge a dollar to add "rocks" to each of your drinks w/ straight up liquor. So if you don't wanna pay a buck for ice, get it neat.

My first time here for my brother's birthday. He's been bragging about it for months and unfortunately this is far below what we expected. As a party of 8, majority of our food came out cold or lukewarm. This included the fries, waffles, tostadas and chicken. We had the honor of sitting next to the expo window and couldn't help to notice WHY our food was coming out cold. So many food runners standing around with a full window of food... just sitting. Whoever is on Expo shouldn't be. I feel bad for the rest of the restaurant because it's clear that everyone's food is cold not just ours

I heard about this place through my work. They held our Christmas party there on a Wednesday night and I was bummed I could not attend. Lucky for me we happened to be in the area that weekend and we were able to take our kids too. Everything was fun! Santa was there. There are inside and outside activities. We had chicken and waffles then took a few drinks to the lawn to hang out before our hour drive back home. The waffles were light and crispy, the chicken fried and juicy. There was nothing for me to complain about. It was so good! I wish we lived closer because this would be a regular spot.

What a great time! We came just for fun one day and boy is it fun. The facility is fantastic inside and out. The restaurant had good food but the devilled eggs were great. The area is perfect for fun inside and out.

Do you like Pickle Ball? This is a fun spot for a date or some family fun. They have a bunch of games to play: the afore mentioned PB, table tennis, battleship, corn hole, and others. It's an indoor/outdoor venue. You order at the counter, for food and drinks, and they deliver it to you wherever you are on the property. Fun times.

What a neat spot! On a random Monday, my husband and I decided to check this place out. Luckily we were able to get a same day reservation for an indoor court (it was raining). The courts are so nice and we liked there were outdoor courts as well. The chicken sandwich was delicious. It was a large dish and the Bloody Mary was great. This is a great spot for families. They have games on the lawn and activities for kids. I can't wait to come back on an evening.

Really good cocktails. The food was ok. I like my chicken cooked longer close to the bone. The chicken strip coating had a good season and crunch. I'm new to pickle ball but I had a lot of fun. There are outside courts but we rented the inside court, there was air conditioning and table service. Fun little place. Me and the family will be back.
