Yelp
I am a convert. You can call me the Pickle King, A Tinker Dinker, or just a really terrible athlete--but don't call me late for our court time.
1. Food - Good. Oddly a great mix of healthy and not healthy items on the menu. Food quality may vary from time to time slightly, based on the newish kitchen staff and peak hours. I love the wings, the pickle chicken sandwich, the tots when they're fresh and not sad dry lego bricks, and their other sides and salads are great too. My fav, go-to item? I'm not telling you. Honestly it's underpriced and I don't want Them to know about it.
2. Booze and beverages - good local beer selection, full bar. I rediscovered my love for Everything Rhymes With Orange here. There's also water coolers everywhere so, like, be mindful of little kid hands touching everything, then touching coolers.
3. Atmosphere - lots of kids and Edmond moms, some hard core pickleball players, and the occasional group of buzzed enthusiasts. But yes, a good amount of kids during waking hours, which I guess could be a selling point if you want to make new mom/dad friends. Or if you want to let your kids run amok while you drink white wine in the shade. (Don't do that).
4. Courts - indoor is the only way to go for at least 1/2 the year in Oklahoma. I played outside once and almost died. Plus the bugs are bad this year, and with little developed land around the site, it's fly city. Courts are hard to come by depending on the day and time. Also, $40 an hour during prime time? Oof.
Bottom line - This place is awesome, like a more family friendly Lighthouse bar. Go to ChickNPick and please dink responsibly.
