Chicken on the Hill

Good tender chicken, tasty fries and toast, plus the bbq sauce is great. My only complaint is what’s up with the coleslaw portion? That’s approximately two spoonfuls with the entire meal, I was given more bbq sauce than slaw… not even exaggerating. Maybe they ran out of what they typically put it in?? Still tasty though and the staff was friendly :)

The people here are so awesome ‼️ so nice every time. I like the chicken tenders. They also serve sushi. 2 story. Cool place to watch the Avs play. 2 bus screen tvs.

Had a great lunch at the soft opening. Very nice. I'm leaning toward it being a good deal. I think I got two pieces of chicken, two sides, and a drink for about $8. That may have been a special. The food was certainly very special. It was very flavorful. The folks were great and eager to please. I hope to return with the entire family!

Some of the most tender and moist chicken I’ve had. Quick service, friendly people and perfect location.

The Nashville chicken sandwich was absolutely amazing it was cooked perfectly the breading was awesome and crunchy the flavor was on point in the spice was a kick which is how it should be

I’m not impressed and was a little disappointed. Service was whatever. Food was mediocre. The fries were lukewarm and not very crispy. Toast was barely toasted. Coleslaw was just cabbage with a bit of white liquid at the bottom of a dinky little sauce cup (they don’t give you nearly enough). Chicken was okay, not great but not bad. An utterly forgettable experience. Will not be coming back!

This is my favorite fried chicken in Boulder hands down. All the other chicken in town is so dry, but not this place. But the restaurant is unexpectedly closed often. And they don’t update the DoorDash with their opening/availability and they don’t answer the phones. If they could address these issues, I think they would be super successful. I would definitely suggest calling ahead to see if they’re open before dining in or ordering online. When I ordered online through DoorDash, it let me place the order even though they were closed. I would eat here often if they were reliable and open during their posted hours.

Don't normally leave reviews. But, tried to give it one last shot today, and was so disappointed. I too, work in a small business, and understand staffing shortages, etc. The hours here are not reliable, and change daily. Any ordering online is most certainly going to be met with a cancellation (Doordash, Uber, etc). My first order was good, but once I finally managed to order a 2nd time (a month later), it had decreased in quality significantly. Tried going in person, also closed. Unfortunate.
