Where to Feast on Fried Chicken in Denver - Eater Denver

"San Diego’s loss was Denver’s gain when Lydie Lovett moved here in 2017 and brought her towering sculptures of fried chicken with her. As photogenic as they are filling, these sandwiches come loaded with the works — jalapeño slaw, pickled onions, and garlic mayo, for instance, or bacon, honey butter, and a fried egg (as do Lovett’s tots, a must-try on the side)." - Lucy Beaugard, Paul Albani-Burgio, Ruth Tobias, Eater Staff

Rebel Chicken pops up at Avanti Food & Beverage this summer - Eater Denver

"Food truck Chicken Rebel brings fried chicken sandwiches, salads, and tater tots for a pop-up from early June through September. The food truck got its start in San Diego and came to Denver in July 2017. In addition to the pop-up at Avanti, Chicken Rebel will keep its food truck running and is still planning to open a full restaurant at the end of the summer next to Mythology Distillery in LoHi. Chicken Rebel plans to offer chicken and waffles, chicken and vegetarian salads, Nashville hot chicken street tacos, and vegetarian fried chick n’ options. Everything on the menu will be under $15. Chicken Rebel will be open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Wednesday, and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Thursday through Saturday." - Susan Stapleton

Google
We ordered a San Diego, The Rancher, and The Hot Rancher as well as Fancy Tots and Green Chili Tots. The food was good. The portion sizes were massive. The bread to chicken ratio was off. As seen in the attached photos, the bread is the size of a slider which causes one's sandwich to disintegrate. The chicken is delicious and crispy. The tots were very well done! Crispy, hot, and fresh. Perfect for any tot enthusiast.

Carlos B.

Google
Food was decent but I feel like the sandwiches are overpriced for the size they are. Decided to give this place a try after seeing the Instagram posts of how the food looked, disappointed mine didn't really look like the Instagram pictures. The Colorado sandwich is really big, however it is not all chicken, it's mainly a huge piece of fried breading.

Rudy J.

Google
Great atmosphere super friendly staff, the counter/waiter had an awesome personality. The food was great tasting from the Tater Tots, to both chicken sandwiches the Colorado was amazing the chicken and waffles OMG the waffle was delicious light and fluffy the other sandwich was there special just a little heat. Very nice and clean.

Arrived at 11am on a Friday, no wait and we were served right away. No contact ordering at the main counter with hand sanitizer for use if desired. A large selection of beer and alcohol was available. Seating was spaced out inside to meet COVID protocols. Bathrooms were clean and well stocked. Food came out fast and was pretty good. Got fried pickles, which were great, but a little greasy. I had Nashville hot chicken sandwich and my wife had the Colorado sandwich. Both really good. Overall, I would recommend checking this place out if you are looking for good fried chicken!

Google
Started with splitting the Classic and Fancy Tots. The tots were fantastic! The lemon zest was shockingly enhancing. The Classic: disappointing. Thin filet, not much zip to the slaw. We're more of a "creamy slaw" fan but this had literally no bite. Not wanting to give up, we tried the Rancher. Thicker, JUICER filet, a good combo of the bacon, avocado and delicious, generous, fresh ranch dressing. Now, Mister X says bacon is a cheat but this was "just" the right amount. Each bite was delicious. For 2 sandwiches, the tots, and a fountain drink = @$30 sans tip. It was our server's first day and he was on IT. We left as they were getting busy, and we felt awful that we couldn't self-bus our table Highly recommend...they have the space.

Google
So I am really on the fence about this place. I really want to like it a lot. It I kind of felt like it fell a little flat. I had "The Rancher" and while it was not to bad... It kind of lacked a little flavor to be honest. I think the home made ranch was delicious, the quality of the ingredients is evident. It just needed to be seasoned more I think. The breading on the chicken kind of fell off the chicken and maybe the avocado spread might have muted the flavor(I don't think the avocado is needed). We also got the "Fancy Tots" who h I thought were really good. I was a little skeptical about the lemon in them but it is very light in flavor and really works. I will say the tots were cooked the best of any place I think I have been too. They were really crunchy and delicious, not to soft or mushy inside. Definitely the way I prefer a good tot. I will for sure be going back cause I think this place has awesome potential! I will try the Nashville hot chicken next time and some different tots.

Nitiranjan M.

Google
One of the best places for Nashville hot chicken burger in the Town. If you like spicy chicken burgers like me, then definitely check them out. You will not be disappointed. They have lots of other varieties of chicken burgers also. However I am in love with their firebird burger which is the Nashville hot style. The food also came quick after we placed the order. The chicken inside was perfectly fried and the coleslaw was very fresh. I wish they served it with a brioche bun. The Normal bun they serve with is very soft and fades away in comparison to the chicken quantity inside. Anyway I loved the fried chicken thigh piece inside. It was juicy, hot, crisp outside and moist and flavourful inside.

Kevin R.

Google
Very good service, friendly and super cool. I would just recommend that they change the formula to make the crust stick to the chicken. And maybe cook it a bit longer? Still, very delicious. Will be back for sure.

Yelp
I ordered the Original Plainsta and it was perfectly passable. The chicken was juicy, the batter had a nice texture, but it lacked some kind of... oomph. The pickles weren't very crunchy or tangy and the breading didn't have any particularly notable flavor. On the side I tried the fancy tots which were tasty enough and I thought the lemon zest was an interesting and unique addition, but otherwise not super memorable. For me, Chicken Rebel is definitely not winning the chicken sandwich wars. tl;dr I'd rather have a Popeye's chicken sandwich.

Yelp
I've been on a chicken kick lately, so let's just keep rolling with it! Do you have a fav chicken spot? Let me know down below! This past Sunday was all about chicken rebel. First, let me just give MAJOR props to the women working that day. I think there were only two of them, and they were HUSTLING. There was a steady flow of business coming through the door, as well as pick up orders to go. These women handled it like a BOSS, and if you weren't paying attention, you wouldn't know it was just the two of them. PLEASE be a little gracious with our small local businesses as they are all doing their hardest to take care of everyone! Pictured here: - Chicken & Waffles: I don't normally go for waffles but this waffle was *chefs kiss! I seriously wanted two more of them! The tendies were crispy and juicy with a nice syrup drizzle. - Buffalo Chicken Sandwich: did you see the size of that chicken? Mike devoured it and let me take a bite halfway through. He almost forgot who he was eating with lol. Seriously, I had the perfect bite right out of the middle. - Fancy Tots: tots covered in fresh parsley, lemon zest, and parm. Paired up with a garlic Mayo. It was shocking in the best way possible! - Four piece Tenders: little Gino 100% approved. He even enjoyed the ranch and bbq sauce that were paired up with them. 100% we'll be returning back. Don't ask me who did it best, because they all brought something unique and delicious to the table! Chicken Rebel definitely knows what they're doing here, and I'm into it! Happy eats my foodsters, and until next time! @platedforkim

Yelp
Heard good things about Chicken Rebel, so a friend and I came to check it out for a late(r) lunch on a Saturday. Wasn't super busy around 1:30 and it's fairly spaced out - also looks like they have a patio for when it's not 30 degrees and/or snowy on the ground. Street parking in the area. The inside is definitely trendy enough for other LoHi spots (prices on par too), menu is pretty straightforward and packed with chicken (surprise!) but also has some all-day breakfast items and a couple vegetarian options. This is a tots, not fries, establishment. My friend and I both went with the Nashville Hot sandwiches, I added a side of Mac and she added some tots. I don't want to sound harsh here, so let's outline the pros: I love a soft and light potato bun on my sandwich. The chicken was crisp and despite being moist both inside and with sauce, it wasn't super messy. Good pickles and slaw inside. But that was Not Nashville Hot! (Nashville Not?) With all the hype about it I expected to at least be a little sweaty. If it wasn't for a slow little burn after a bite, I would have thought they accidentally gave us the classic sandwich. I know Denver isn't the uhhh..... spiciest of locales, but definitely a disappointing lack of heat here. The Mac n cheese was also a little oily, just lacking that Zaza zoom. My friend enjoyed her tots as well. I am still curious enough about the other menu items that I would be back, and it was still a good *regular* chicken sandwich. I will continue searching in the meantime for hot chicken that makes me cry tears of love and pain.

Yelp
Let's start with the highlights Friendly service the young lady at the front was awesome and provided a fresh approach. She was very informative on the food. As for the food The chicken & waffles was legit as well as the captain crunch French toast. Now the items that were just a let down Sadly the Honey Hot popping chicken was a big miss in our opinion. Not crispy and very bland. Then we took a chance on the rebel tots. The tots them selves were great taste but the cheese sauce and the caramelized onions were just to much as you can see by the picture just to much. I believe if they cut back on the toppings the tots were great. We will give this spot another chance in the future just based on the friendly service but we will go with a Chicken sandwich or salad. Or maybe hit the Chicken & Waffles again. Give this spot a shot and judge for yourself

Yelp
Great chicken sandwich. Not sure if it's worth all the hype I heard before we ate here, but good chicken sandwich nonetheless. Waitress was nice but they definitely need more than just 2 people working there.

Yelp
This is a review solely for the customer service I got for ordering online. The guy who answered the phone acted like you were crazy for asking for an update on food ordered well past the "15 min" mark. I don't think they check online orders because the second he said it's going to be 15 minutes I got an automated text to my phone saying it would be ready in 15 minutes. This would've been whatever but coupled with the poor attitude he had with me while talking on the phone left a bad taste in my mouth.

Yelp
Wow was this great!! There has been a surge of fried chicken options in Denver and I am NOT complaining at all. I have been following chicken rebel on Instagram while it was just a truck, and never got a round to finding the truck. But with their location in the highlands it is much closer and easier to hunt down some great chicken and tots. I have the Buffalo chicken sandwich, just how it comes off the menu. (I like to try it how it was intended before getting all custom with it ) and husband got the Nashville hot sandwich. We shared a Huge side of tots. Everything was fantastic. Not overly spicy and you could taste the blue cheese on the Buffalo and the Nashville one was just the right amount of heat that kept you wanting more. Price is what I would expect, nothing out of left field. Service was awesome too. The bartender let me try a couple of their draft beers which were delicious especially the watermelon one. The bar itself is a gigantic slab of hardwood and it's really unique. I recommend sitting at the bar I will go back.. maybe even tonight.

Yelp
So I went to Chicken Rebel one time before this I wasn't really impressed. I decided to give them a second try because I thought maybe Because of what I had ordered before so this time I went and ordered a chicken sandwich and some tots and a drink totaled out to be almost $30 I don't think it was a good value for the money in my opinion. The food was good but it wasn't anything to rave about.

Yelp
My first time was about a couple of days when they opened. I went back on my own and to tell you frankly, I still love this place. It's a woman-owned business. I don't love this spot because of that. She truly does have amazing tater tots and fried chicken sammies. Besides that, her success story defies her clucking famous fried chickens. What? You avoid anything fried? Live a little? Eat a little? Bring a backup and go halfsies? The chicken sandwich here is huge. Not the flat patties that you get elsewhere. This is the real mother cluckin deal! The Rebel chicken is probably the famous one. If you like your chicken coming at you with a little sass. A side of the classy or spicy tots perhaps? Muy bien! Then there's a whole other super moist and delicious group of clucking amazing sammies. Probably cooked by Lydie Lovett herself. Since she's always in the back working. From truck to a brick n mortar. Can you do that? Nahhh. So drop by and eat a few fried something from her menu. You'll be smiling a really happy smile. For mother cluckin's sake; here's to keep you from worrying too much: anything fried between 325F-400F absorbs less grease... because the food fries faster! Speed of light. Sonic Boom. What do you think Lydie's deep fryer fries at? That's just one excuse. There's like four more I can give you. So. Get up. Get dressed. Or not. Live a little. Eat some fried food. In moderation...I tell my inner fatty.

Yelp
TO PREFACE THINGS: Don't come here if you want tiny, neat little fried chicken sandwiches. Don't order the Nashville hot if you don't like it hot. Don't be counting your calories and ordering loaded tots. That said, holy smokes the fried chicken sandwiches here are good! They're huge. They're crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. They've got great added flavor -- from the deep, lingering heat on the Nashville hot ("Firebird") -- to the juicy craziness of the green chile cream cheese stuffed chicken in the "Colorado" sandwich. And there's everything inbetween. If you're not a fan of spicy, maybe start with the "Classic" -- it's got jalapeños for a little heat too! If you don't like fried, the San Diego sammie has grilled chicken. Or there's even a loaded salad option! Also don't miss the loaded tots. I love the buffalo ones, but the green chile ones are pretty juicy, and the honey hot tots with sriracha and Cajun spice were a surprise for sure. (And yes this was the place that had a stand at Avanti and a truck outside Finn's and was in San Diego before that.)

Yelp
When you get delivery and it's still hot and in tact and it tastes pretty damn good then imagine what it's like when you're sitting there in person!! Just finished the firebird and some tots and hot damn that ish is delicious! I mean I could go hotter on the fire but still, nice spice, great crunch, juicy chicken. 5 stars all the way!

Yelp
We all know the kinda year fried chicken sandwiches have had and I am not ashamed to admit that I have a front row seat on that bandwagon. So glad Chicken Rebel decided to open up a standalone shop because the bf and I have wanted to try them out for quite some time (especially after we stood in line forever when they were still posted up at Avanti and gave up halfway through bc we were hangry). Anyway, the space isn't very big, but open with a nice, stocked, festive bar. A couple of arcade games sitting to the side is a nice touch along with the awesome floor to ceiling chicken taking over an entire wall. I instantly dig it. I took a star off because the chicken sammies are pricey and don't come with any sides, but man they are delicious. On my first visit, I went with the Rancher - fried chicken with avocado and a generous slathering of some REALLY good buttermilk ranch. I loved this and had to get a side of this same ranch for our tots. The bf ordered the Breakfast Fried Chicken Sammie which is the same breaded chicken with bacon, fried egg, and honey butter. Their chicken is breaded nicely, not too thick, and that meat inside is nice and juicy. On our second visit, I went with the Hometown Rebel (guac, bacon, rebel sauce). It was good, but I definitely missed that ranch. Remember those tots I mentioned? We got ourselves the Rebel Tots which is a HUGE serving of crispy, fried tater tots with American cheese, rebel sauce, and caramelized onions. I love the variety of loaded tots they have on the menu - definitely enough to share for the whole table. Don't underestimate that cocktail menu either. I tried their Self Esteem Punch and the Eleanor and both were tasty. Really good chicken spot in the city with great drinks and wonderful service. If you're into fried chicken sammies like I am, please do yourself a favor and get on in there. I am just waiting for the perfect weekend to try out their amazing sounding brunch.

Yelp
Been trying to get to this place and finally made it out. I ordered the Nashville Hot but with the hot sauce on the side and the tower of Onion rings. The Nashville hot was good. The sauce is spicy and I'm glad I got on the side. The Rings with the 2 sauces was delicious. Will definitely be back again.

Yelp
Best Chicken Sandwich/Overall Chicken in Denver... I had it Uber Eats delivered all the way to Aurora assuming it wouldn't be as good as in store but holy **** it was still super crunchy and hot and delicious as if I just got it out of the store.. idk if the owner reads these but PLEASE open a store in Aurora/Centennial/Parker PLEASE!... no seriously... PLEASE!

Yelp
I had ordered food from here on door dash once or twice and had to come into the restaurant to finally try to food fresh. They're located in the highlands off tejon street. The restaurant seems very new and they have plenty of seating inside, with a nice bar area in the back as well. The staff was really friendly and they were happy to give recommendations on a few items. I always order the chicken tenders, they come with about 4 tenders but they are massive. Highly recommend their rebel sauce for dipping. If you like "animal style" from In N Out, go with their Rebel Tots, it is a bed of tots with American cheese, their rebel sauce, and caramelized onions on top. I recommend splitting the tots with a another person, the portions are huge.

Yelp

Yelp
I love this place! Eat here! It's my go-to hangover cure. I've tried four of their sandwiches and I think the firebird is my fave. I will say it could stand to be a bit spicier but I enjoy having my sinuses cleared out and being close to tears when I'm eating spicy food which is certainly not the case for the average person. **The zesty garlic Parmesan tots are insane!**Get those. I saved some of the extra aioli to put on a lunch sandwich the next day and it was DEElish. The food is great even after sitting in a box for a hot minute cus I'm lazy af and want things brought to me. Sure it's a bit pricey but it is the highlands ‍. I've never dined in but I did get to meet the owner one day when I walked in to get take out and she was pretty cool. Also I'm pretty sure she called me personally to figure out a mix up with an online order. Superb customer service! ALSO, I think it's lame to give a bad rating to a restaurant solely based on an experience with Grubhub, so maybe stop doing that. Anyway, A+ work, I will absolutely continue to order yummy chicken sandwiches and tots from this place!
google avatar

Vee T.

Yelp
I've become a Nashville chicken sandwich lover this year so this was first on the list when we arrived to Denver, Colorado! Plus, I found out they had fried pickles so it was a must. I ordered the firebird and fried pickles! The flavor was there in the sandwich, but the sauce tasted more sweet than it did fiery. I was expecting heat, but didn't taste it at all. I have a high tolerance for spice, so I thought it was me. But I let my sister who has a low tolerance try it, and she said the same. The fried pickles were yummy though. I would definitely come back to try out other items. Oh, and this place has happy hour too. $5 cocktails!
google avatar

Brie O.

Yelp
I found this place on tik tok and was super excited to try it. The downtown denver location is well designef with local artwork but I felt like the food and beverage experience fell short. The bartender/server was so sweet and helpful but overall we rated the flavors 6/10. They advertise craft beer but have a very limited selection. The pickle vodka bloody mary tasted like pickle but it needed more spice! The overall consensus is that everything needing more flavor. I would be willing to come back to breakfast but probably wouldn't reorder sandwiches or mac and cheese. The Mac was sitting in some grease which doesn't really bother me if the flavor is right but it was lacking.

Yelp
Loved the bar tender Harley!! The PBJ cocktail was stellar and I honestly just came in for one but stayed for two

Yelp
We were heading to Avanti for lunch, and I wanted to try someplace new. I had never been to Chicken Rebel, and the menu appeared to have some solid offerings. I went with the classic sandwich (Fried Chicken with Roasted Garlic Aioli, Tangy Jalapeno Slaw, on a Brioche Bun). It was pretty good, but for some reason it did not quite live up to what I was expecting. Maybe it just came across as a bit messy and soggy. And the flavors weren't quite where I wanted them to be. The sides were OK. The drinks seemed overpriced. The service was a bit hit or miss on our visit. The people I went to lunch with seemed to have a better experience than I did.

Yelp
So... this has nothing to do with their food. Food might be delicious. It looks amazing and I so very badly wanted to eat it. So badly that I ordered $100 worth of it via Grubhub. Alas, it was not meant to be, as our Grubhub driver was an idiot and gave us the wrong order, which consisted if 90% less food than we ordered. The restaurant told us we had to reorder through Grubhub, Grubhub told us they would refund us but wouldn't send the driver back to pick up our food... which is not helpful when you have 6 hungry adults and children to feed. Again, not the restaurant's fault but since I can't influence Grubhub, I'm sincerely hoping this review gets the restaurant's attention and pushes them to convince Grubhub to do better in the future. It may feel like a simple mix-up, but honestly, it's more than that. Literally, we chose to order food tonigh because we are dealing with our grandmother's death and couldn't handle one more thing. Chicken sounded good, we were looking forward to trying a new place, looking for a distraction in the shape of comfort food. Thanks for nothing, guys.

Yelp
A great place for a delicious chicken sandwich and cheap cocktails! I ordered the Firebird and was pleasantly surprised with the spice level. I am a huge fan of spicy food and the Firebird was the perfect amount of spice for me. The employees were very friendly and helpful as well which really made the experience pleasant. I will be returning for delicious food & drinks.

Yelp
You can tell when love and heart goes into the food. That is definitely the case here. We have had the best and friendliest service every time we have come. Their chicken sandwiches are enormous! Don't plan on picking up and eating it! This is definitely a fork and knife situation. The tots are also not to be missed. They are the perfect amount of crispy, and crunchy with the best toppings. We have had the buffalo tots and the green chili tots. Both delicious. I have also had the Colorado chicken sandwich which is filled with cream cheese and green chilis. Yaaaaas! My hubby loves the Firebird - Nashville hot chicken sandwich. It brings the heat! They offer to go or dine in. They also have a full bar and small patio. We are excited to go back again for their all day breakfast menu!! Get here!!
google avatar

Hannah M.

Yelp
I come to this restaurant regularly and I am never disappointed. The food is always delicious--my favorite is the Firebird sandwich. The employees are super friendly and take care of whatever you need, especially Trent. I'll keep coming back
google avatar

Ben W.

Yelp
The chicken tenders are some of the best I've ever had. We ordered the family meal deal and the tater tots were also really good, seemed like they had a lemon pepper taste to them. The macaroni and cheese was nothing special, I wouldn't get it again. Food:4/5 My biggest problem is that our food was ready 50 minutes AFTER it said it was ready for pickup. No apology or acknowledgment either. This is unacceptable for any business. Service: 2/5
google avatar

Ellen H.

Yelp
Had a craving for Nashville hot chicken, did a Google search and OMG, are we glad we found it! We had Firebird (hot/spicy) sandwiches, strips, hot honey tots--everything was so good, we said, "yum" or "wow" with every bite. What a great find! We'll be back!!!
google avatar

Neves G.

Yelp
I ordered the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich. It looked super tasty but it lacked so much flavor. It was very bland other than a the really sweet hot sauce it was drenched in....it was a little spicy though! My mom got the Colorado Chicken Sandwich. I didn't care for it as much she did. She only ate less than half before realizing it was undercooked. The waitress was veeeery sweet about it, didn't charge us for that sandwich, and apologized. The chef, however, didn't take a second look at it, threw it in the trash and said "it's supposed to look like that". Also ordered the fried pickles and tots. They were just fine.
google avatar

J B.

Yelp
3.5 stars. A good, fresh-fried chicken in a breading that reminded me a little bit of fish and chips coating. I liked it. Prices are on the OK side of almost too expensive. But a few things need work. For example if you order a buffalo chicken sandwich and decide to apply "blue cheese coleslaw and mayo" instead of some blue cheese dressing, you have to actually put both on the sandwich or throw in an extra cup on the side. Twice now I've had dry servings when I got home. This is an unnecessary and inexpensive execution mistake that ruins a fancy concept. Also the tater tot sides are ok, but are small portions with, again, almost no sauce if you get one of their topped specials. So I like this place, but they could lean a little bit more to the generous side with the flavors.

Mike S.

Yelp
Fix your SH!T. I'll change this rating when you change your process. Phone is always busy. The one time I got through I was put on hold and forgotten. After 30 mins was able to get through and there was no apology. Phone is busy right now. 3 times in 10 mins. Order on ChickenHellYeah.com and they won't receive your order. They start it while you're there to pick up. That's happened 3 times now. Order on Postmates, nope! Error. Go to pick up a pre-order and you'll wait in line with customers who are ordering. Fixes. - Answer your phone - Turn off your online ordering if you're not going to use it - Make a separate area for pickups Love your food. Hate your service.
google avatar

Jaritza S.

Yelp
All I can say is that it's literal perfection. Every bite! And those tots!! Are a must! Whatever you order just don't forget the tots! Highly recommend this place :)

Yelp
Amazing chicken sandwiches!! My husband and I have been on a crispy chicken sandwich kick, but this one really hit the spot. We were next door at Mythology Distillery, and they let you order in food... so we knew what we were getting. What's better than chicken sandwiches & cocktails together!? My husband ordered the Firebird - their hot sandwich. He said it was amazing. I did have a bite & it was spicy! They also have great menu items such as: classic chicken sandwiches, varities with blue cheese, and varities with green chile, among other options. They all produce happy tummies and taste buds. So glad this is part of the Lohi neighborhood. We'll be back again.
google avatar

Ali S.

Yelp
Delicious quick lunch! Chicken has some kick but would definitely return. Plus if you eat-in they have beer on tap!

Victoria H.

Yelp
The service here was great but the food was underwhelming. My boyfriend and I came here to try it for the first time and we ordered the fancy tots, the Firebird sandwich, the Buffalo sandwich, and a side of the mac and cheese. The Firebird was advertised as Nashville Hot Chicken but had no taste -- not even mild spice, and the mac and cheese was oily and also tasteless. The Buffalo sandwich was definitely much better and the fancy tots weren't bad. We got a beer and a margarita and it came out to $52 with tip. I'm not sure if that feels overpriced or not. I guess I would be willing to come back and try it again but I'm a little hesitant now.

Yelp
The chicken is so juicy and tender. They sous vide the chicken then fry it. The Buffalo chicken sandwich has some small pieces of celery in the slaw which is a great idea! Service was great as well.

Yelp
This place is absolutely AMAZING! Definitely lived up to the hype and I loved getting to see this originally food truck production turn into a brick & mortar joint - love local success stories! The loaded tots here offer something for everyone with plenty of options to choose from, all delicious! My favorite were the honey hot tots with siracha mayo and Cajun spices, mmm! Also the chicken sandwiches here are some of the best I've EVER had. I'm a bit of a wimp when it comes to spice, so the fire bird isn't for me, but their classic and rancher sandwiches are TASTY TASTY! Be sure to stop in whenever you're in the neighborhood!

Yelp
Food is fine, but the service is ridiculous. Don't even bother using the online ordering system. This now the third time we have arrived 15+ min after it should be ready and they hadn't even started it, because they don't bother to check the take out orders. The last time this happened the person working looked and treated me like I was an a-hole for wondering where my order was, when she clearly stated to her co-worker "we really need to check the orders coming in."

Yelp
Just visited new location in Littleton. We ordered food to go, and unfortunately the food took nearly 40 minutes. Also, the music in the location was filled to F-Bombs and there were several families in the location. Food was over cooked, really crispy. They needed more staff and should have had a manager onsite. I'll probably try one more time, the experience has been better at other locations.

Yelp
That is a $10.00 salad. I ordered delivery from Chicken Rebel through Uber Eats. They did not deliver over half my order. Two salads showed up with no chicken. I ordered 2 orders of tater tots, it did not show. I called Rebel Chicken who blamed the driver. The driver brought two bags as the Rebel.Chicken gave them. Unfortunate our business doesn't mean much to these "fancy" places. $80.00 for dinner, I got half my order and nobody to be accountable. I would have thought that Rebel might have offered us to come get the rest of our order. Didn't even offer that. Don't make plans at your house and order from Rebel, undoubtedly they will ruin dinner time with half put together orders. I won't return to this place again.

Yelp
Delivery was quick! The protein power bowl was great- I chose fried chicken to top it, so that came on the side in a separate container. The chicken was delicious- but there was SO much breading, and hardly any chicken! I'm talking thick breading where some was not cooked all the way. Anyway, the fried pickles were great also! Definitely recommend- I think I just got unlucky on the fried chicken piece I got- it was delicious overall.

Yelp
Totally reasonable chicken sandwich. Not the most exciting I've ever had but got the job done and quickly. Nice staff. Would eat again in a pinch.

Yelp
Found this place featured on Instagram and it looked like it would be great. As a lover of chicken tenders I have never found a place I didn't like; however this was a first. Chicken was dry and burnt, breading came right off after one bite. I had high hopes and was disappointed.

Yelp
I ordered the San Diego but ended up getting the Nashville hot I think, I was skeptical at first first but after eating it I'm amazed. It's messy but the best chicken sandwich you'll ever eat.

Yelp
This place has the best chicken I have tasted in Denver. The Nashville Hot lives up to its reputation. Check out their happy hour and their specialty cocktails.

Yelp
The Buffalo and the Colorado are tops. Make sure you order tots. The food holds well for delivery! One of our favorite chicken sandwich places

Yelp
The tots here are insane, even with delivery, which is a challenge to keep crispy and safe. Apart from being delicious, you definitely get a healthy serving for the price, which I appreciate. So far I have had "The Rebel Tots", "The Green Chile Tots", and "The Buffalo Tots". I am looking forward to the opportunity to try out the remaining options. "The Classic" also was a very solid chicken sandwich, once again exciting me to continue checking out the rest of the menu.
