Chicken Salad Chick

Was happy to find one of these in Hampton. I've been a fan of this chain since they started in Auburn. Our food was served quickly despite it being busy at lunchtime. The ice machine was out of order, and the Diet Coke syrup was almost out when I got it. I poured it out and got a Coke Zero instead. Otherwise our food was great. I'd definitely come back to this location.

First time trying this place. Staff was very friendly they explained the menu to me then offered me samples of my choice. I ended up getting a scoop of jalapeño holly and Olivia’s old south along with a grape salad and their rice Krispy treat. Loved the chicken salad the flavors were good. Grape salad was just like my mom used to make. Will be coming back to try the sandwiches and strawberry lemonade.

I used to love this place but I keep getting chewy piece in my sandwich. I have pulled out stringy rubbery pieces in the chicken salad but this one takes the cake. Idk what the heck I pulled out. I tried to attach pictures. They do need to do way better shedding the chicken. Make sure there's no skin or cartilage left behind.

This was my first time coming here, and also getting food here. It was amazing! The service was awesome. The cashier that told me about the menu had excellent service and was knowledgeable about the menu. I got the Classic Chicken Salad sandwich on croissant bread. I also had the Mac and cheese, which was delicious! The other sandwich pictured has Olivia’s Old Fashioned chicken salad on toasted croissant bread with the new menu item: the Bacon Melt. The side was tomato bisque, which was also good! The last picture is a kid’s meal. It comes with a Smuckers wheat pb&j and the side is a cup of fresh fruit. The fruit wasn’t that fresh because some of the grapes were old, but the rest of them and the strawberries were good! Each meal came with a delicious cookie! The Christmas cookie icing tasted like cinnamon. The place was clean and very nice.

For $15 you can make this sandwich and TEN grapes at home. I asked for regular crackers and the manager gave me wheat 😂😂 If I would've known I wouldnt have gotten a decent side of grapes I would've gotten soup or more chicken salad. For $15 this is a rip off and I will not return thank you I would've gotten Panera bread combo deal much more food

First time trying chicken salad chick ever and it was just an amazing experience! First thing to address, the young lady named Trinity working the front counter was nothing but respectful , helpful , and overall just very sweet. She’s a genuine worker that helped me pick my meal for today, she recommended me the jalapeño holly melt on a croissant and I enjoyed every bite of it! Everything was fresh and hot while my food got out to me very quickly. Great food, amazing service , a decently kept dine in service, and the dining room blew away my expectations for how well maintenance/ clean it was. Trinity was always kept busy whether she would be serving another customer cleaning the drink machines or wiping down used tables. Would definitely recommend and I will be back!

Everything was decent, grape salad was mushy and rotten and had stems in it, unfortunately I couldn’t finish it and had to pick through to find grapes that weren’t rotted. I see no effort made to serve fresh food to me this evening, this could have been so much better than it was.

Called in a large order and it was ready when we arrived for pickup. We got something for everyone and was not disappointed. A relaxed place to sit inside or outside on their patio. Today is a nice sunny Saturday to do both. Not our first visit and it will not be our last. The food is wonderful and they do so many creative things with just chicken. Their sides and salads are a must to try too.

After shopping, my friend and I decided on Chicken Salad Chick for a late lunch. Since I have chicken salad often, I decided on the Spicy Pimento Sandwich on a croissant with a side of Broccoli Salad. Both were delicious. My friend also enjoyed her Chicken Salad on a croissant with a side of Pasta Salad. She even commented on the fact that her sandwich had too much salad on it. She scooped some off for a later snack! Orders two types of chicken salad and a slice of cake to go. Was not impressed. Cake was dry. Ordered the classic and old south(can't remember exact name) quick chick small packages. They were not horrible just nothing to write home about. If you want some real deal chicken salad have granny make it for you!

OMG I had buffalo chicken my husband (who I had to persuade to go) the original chicken sandwich's it was fantastic. The potato soup was to die for and everyone was so friendly and service was fast. We will be back.

How can you not like simple chicken salad?! Over a few days, I ate the entire large container of the original - simple chicken salad. Delicious. No weird hard bits. Just simple chicken salad. Pimento cheese was nice too. It's a simple southern salad joint. Good sweet tea. Nice staff. Takes credit cards. Indoor and outdoor seating.

As a first time customer I was impressed by the selection of chicken salads available. I thought I would be under whelmed by this place and certainly was not. The service was speedy but also super friendly. I ordered chicken salads available BLT with the Barbie Q chicken salad my only critique for this otherwise good sandwich was I thought the bread should be toasted. I enjoyed my lunch and so did my partner

This was the first time I have ordered catering and it worked out perfectly! It was easy to order online and it was all ready and nicely packaged up when I arrived. It was also ready at the time I requested. The staff was very pleasant too and offered to help walk it out to my car. I ordered their combo that included two chicken salad choices, one side and dessert for 12. There was plenty of chicken salad, crackers and there were 12 cookies. The side which was the grape salad was just enough and some people didn't take any. A larger serving of this would be nice. Everything tasted delicious and would use them for catering again!

Idk, it was ok. The broccoli chedder soup was mild in flavor but cheesy! The turkey BLT was ok. Everything was a mild flavor. Other than that the restaurant was very clean and well organized

Chicken salad was fairly good. I also had the potato soup that was good just salty. Their lemonade is good too. My only drawback was there was hair in my food and that's an immediate turnoff for me. They did remake my food however just put me in a mood of not wanting any of my food. The staff was friendly! It gives a hometown store feel.

It's chicken salad. I wish that could be the review. It was just chicken salad. I got the Buffalo Barclay on croissant with Mac and cheese. For $9, it's decent. I wouldn't go out my way to travel to Hampton for it. The macaroni tasted like Stouffers. The chicken salad tasted regular with buffalo sauce--not super spicy. 3/10 recommend

I love the Jalapeno Holly! This is one of my favorite places to go for a quick lunch. Just ask for the Chick. The Jalapeno Holly isn't that spicy, but it's just enough of a kick to satisfy your need for spice. I also love the mac and cheese here. The little cookies are always amazing as well.

Ok you guys, my speech therapist has requested I try to go into a restaurant and eat. Or at least see how long I can stay before I'm feeling sick. (For those of you who don't know what's going on, I have severe hyperacussis and haven't been to a restaurant in four years because I can't take music or talking). Today we tried Chicken Salad Chick and here's my review. There's a fan that's so loud in there it actually drowned out the music which was already quiet. So i actually made it through the whole meal! That's not saying much though lol because the meal consisted of tiny overpriced containers of chicken salad and drinks that were not included. Check out the pictures. Tiny right? Each one was 6.99!!!! That's right. $6.99. They had a slightly larger size that was $12.99!!!!! I seriously shit you not. We didn't get forks and they're nowhere to be found. So we asked for them. The girl brought us(2 people) 1 fork. We had to ask for another. This "meal" cost us $32.86. We got what's pictured, and a $10 fruit salad that consisted of grapes 4 tiny blueberries and 1 strawberry sliced up. And they served the stem. Yeah. Oh AND everything is served in plastic and they DON'T recycle!!! Don't ever eat here. #ChickenSaladChick #earthkiller

All the versions of chicken salad are delicious and the meals come with a frosted sugar cookie. The staff is friendly and the orders are ready in a timely manner. There is shaded seating outside and they have water bowls for the pooch patrons.

I had no idea there were so many types of chicken salads! Of course, I didn't go wild..I got the original chicken salad with nothing fancy. But it was still so good! I also got some delicious fresh fruit and a soft sugar cookie. You can get your chicken salad in a sandwich or as a scoop with crackers. I feel like I didn't have enough chicken salad in my sandwich for the price (that's why they lost a star). Next time I would just get the scoop with crackers. I would definitely go back if I'm in the area.

Thought I would never see CSC after moving from down south. In Hampton for a day class and lookin to eat so I can miss traffic heading back to VB. To my great surprise I see a CHICKEN SALAD CHICK! Warmed my heart and my stomach. My go-to "fast food" serving an array of chicken salad on your choice of bread or a scoop. Delicious sides and even more delicious cookie with each meal. They also have packaged chicken salad to go. I didn't get melted cheese this time but it's a game changer if you've never tried on a toasted croissant! Love this place! Heard there is one opening on Norfolk?!

It was more than I expected. Looking for some classic chicken salad variety? Well. Chicken Salad Chick is it! This place is perfect for lunch. Sandwiches, soups and salads all available and are complemented with, you guess it, chicken salad! There is a variety of different recipes of chicken salad and ways to have it. They have traditional to the most exquisite. The restaurant is tidy and clean. Service is nice and the food is good! You can call in and pick your order up at the pick up window, no wait! Bathrooms are clean which is huge for me. The drink menu is good and the price is right. When I was done eating, I felt good. Not stuffed or miserable, but refreshed. Great addition for the area! This place has amazing food at great prices. Every option is tasty and has a unique quality. I love the simplicity and the southern appeal this place has, and I'm thankful for the marketing strategy this company uses.

If you are looking for a lunch spot, stop scrolling! When you walk in the door, it feels like you are entering a country cottage. It almost immediately makes you feel right at home. The concept is really cool; pick what kind of chicken salad you want, and what you want it on. I went with the Kickin' Kay Lynne BLT and it was excellent! Great flavor with a touch of heat, very well done. But look y'all, as good as that sandwich was, the Grape Salad is a straight up desert!

OHMIGAWD what extraordinary flavors!! So many options and each one better than the last! The menu has something to make every palate happy. My goddaughter tried a barbie-q chicken salad sandwich and macaroni and cheese, which she loved. I had a dilly chicken salad sandwich with grape salad. It was PERFECT. I would not change a single thing in the recipe! Fresh ingredients make all the difference and the dill and cucumber in my chicken salad was the perfect compliment to a sweltering day outside. The grape salad was light and creative and I really appreciated it. You know you've found a great place when all you can do on the drive home is relive the experience of total food enjoyment. The meal came with a drink, a pickle, and a cookie with the sandwich and side. The cookie was light and flavorful. The pickle was sour and garlic-y, just the way I like them. The place was nicely appointed in décor and the service was friendly. It was a good value and a great culinary experience for a sandwich place. Overall, it surpassed my expectations. I was delighted and have already made plans for another visit!

First time visiting this place. We don't venture to this side of the water often, so this isn't a place we would frequent...but the SASSY SCOTTY could change all that. It's JUST chicken salad, folks, but it is delicious chicken salad, folks. The SASSY SCOTTY was a ranch, bacon, cheese, chicken salad EXPLOSION and it's worth all they hype I heard about this place. Simply put, this place does chicken right!

You know what? I like this place!!! After 2 hours debating with my family trying to figure out what to eat...we finally decided to try this place out. We have never been. I love Chicken salad. I love how this place is decorated! It's so nice! And it was all dressed up for Valentine's! Their menus were nice too! It seemed like business picked up fast when I got there. I highly recommend this place, and this is why.. It's FAMILY friendly! I am a huge foodie! But I am also a stay at home mom. I don't let people watch my kids. So wherever I go...they go! I like to eat good food and so do they. I have a six year old and an 18 month year old. To find a place that serves good kids meals that isn't fried is slim these days. It's hard to go anywhere with kids, but I highly appreciate the great service I received today. I was greeted, I ordered, they gave me a table # to place on my table. I love their cups. They are cute and stylish. Anyways my kids were raving about the strawberry lemonade...so I tried it...so good! Two thumbs up! They brought my food out! They made sure I was happy with my food..also the girl who brought my food "oh my goodness your hands are full and I see you don't have any utensils...let me grab you some" ...You guys! These things matter to me! Because I am a mom! I actually didn't have to stress about anything. You guys were awesome. Thank you! A lot of restaurants should follow. My kids got the Mac and cheese with fruit, and a pickle...and just an fyi! All meals come with a mini buttercream frosted cookie. I literally forgot what Chicken salad I got, but it had pecans, with grapes, and apples...and pasta salad as my side and a pickle. I can tell you we thoroughly enjoyed our food. It was refreshing. I've already texted friends they need to check this place out. I'll be back. P.S. also thank you for having high chairs with seat belts that we can actually strap the kid in!

Chicken Salad Chick in Hampton was not bad! I was super excited to try this place because I love chicken salad. I tried the Fancy Nancy (has apples, grapes and pecans) and was a little underwhelmed. Though the chicken salad itself was good, I felt it could have used a little more of the non-chicken salad things like the fruit and pecans. It was a little on the bland side, but I still enjoyed it. The croissant it was on was pretty good. The portion is pretty average and I thought I'd be ok just getting one but next time I think I will order an extra scoop and a side like soup. I loved that it came with a little cookie :) I definitely want to try more flavors so I will most likely post an updated review when I come back to try them!

We love coming here for lunch. Their food is delicious and not super pricey. The staff is always friendly. The food always comes out quickly and is fresh. Seating is normal restaurant seating, nothing special. I'm not a fan of the table cloths they use lol but that's about it.

We wanted to try something new in Hampton a few weeks ago, and we ended up here for lunch. I had absolutely no idea what to order! The staff was very friendly and when placing y order, she explained the different chicken salad offerings as well as the sides. What I failed to understand was what pimento cheese really was! I was expecting a chicken and cheese sandwich and was very puzzled when I only tasted cheese. That is because it is a pimento cheese BALL. Needless to say, I have absolutely no opinion on how the chicken tastes! The tomato soup was ok after I added salt and pepper. 4 STARS! The service was friendly, the serving size was decent for lunch, and the pimento cheese was as expected (for those expecting it). I just didn't do 5 Stars because I haven't tasted the chicken!

I have never really wanted to try this place just because I didn't really think it would be "all that". Omg I was so wrong. I put in a pick up order because I was in a time crunch and didn't want greasy fast food and feel gross the rest of the day. I don't think I've ever eaten a sandwich so fast, it was delicious. The inside was so cute and clean. The staff was super friendly. And it's a total bang for your buck! I got a chicken salad melt that came with a pickle spear, a cup of delicious soup and crackers (shout out to the clerk who gave me extra crackers) and the cutest little scrumptious cookie for less that $12. I'm upset I've never tried this earlier. 10/10 recommend.

A little spendy for lunch but it's good. I want to out more o's in good. When a coworker suggested it I was kind of hesitant but I'm glad I went. I got the blt with the Buffalo chicken salad. Wow. Very tasty I ate the whole sandwich and some dropped into my plate I scooped it up too and wanted more. They give you another side and I chose the chicken poblano soup. Very tasty. They give you pickle spear and a small cookie. It's worth a break from the fried food world. You've e got to try it. The service was very good as well. Sorry no pictures

My friends had already been to this new eatery so we chose it for a small luncheon reunion as such. When we entered you go to the right and can peruse an extensive paper menu of sandwich selections and sides. You pass a grab n go case just before you order. Deciding what to order takes lots of time as there are many options and frankly, they all look good. My friends had liked their previous choices so it seemed I couldnt really go wrong. Total for a child's order with juice, and 2 adult orders with side and a drink for each came to only $31. Drinks are serve yourself and there is a lot to choose from. I had my favorite unsweet iced tea and it was nicely brewed. The chicken salad was fresh and tasty. The soup was just hot enough to enjoy. The mac n cheese was a bit gloppy like when it has been reheated, but the fruit was fresh and tasty. There were six of us and we had a little trouble knitting together several tables and getting chairs from the other side of the dining area. It all worked out but this place is probably not the best choice for a larger party than 4 or so. I put coats on chairs to hold some space for us because I could clearly see we would have no seating option if we waited until we had ordered. When we have no coats, like in summer time I may have to be a more creative table saver. When you order you get a number and your order is brought to you, but you bus your own table when you finish. You can request a to go container for leftovers. There are many things on this menu I hope to try. The egg salad, despite having sweet pickle, and the pimento cheese offerings seem excellent choices for meatless meals like during Lent. I did not give 5 stars because of the seating issue, and the gloppy mac n cheese, but on another visit when there are fewer of us it might not be an issue. The crowd was diverse from men in safety vests to more elderly women who have let their hair go natural, ie in their 80's, dining in another large group of cobbled together tables. A few families with kids, mixed ethnicities it looked like a nice cross section of Americana at noon on a Wednesday. Seems everyone loves chicken salad! This may foretell a new era in American eateries!

I mean are you even for real with how delicious this place is? New obsession. I've only tried to bbq chicken salad so far but holy crap, is it good. It is SO fresh. And the tomatoes taste like they are fresh from the garden. You also can't beat the price, very reasonable!! I am such a fan of this place!

Today was the first time trying this restaurant. I ordered to go although they did have dining inside and at the patio. I didn't have to wait too long and received my to go bag and was thanked for coming in! The staff was helpful and friendly. I was pleasantly surprised to open my to go box and found my delicious sandwich a pickle, fruit and a cookie!!

I'll admit, I do like this place even tho I make it sound like my wife drug me here, cause she sorta did. Food is always good, flavors are consistent. I did get enough to eat. Although, this is something I prefer for lunch, dinner works too. And their sweet tea is really good. Very clean and classic style eatery. The fresh and healthy options, in a day where everything that is seemingly so is still fraught with unhealthy additives and sugar, are not only appreciated, they're absolutely delicious. Friendly, helpful staff that knew the product. If you like chicken salad you will love this place! Lots of choices and is so delicious!

They have really good food! I have tried the Fancy Fran and Olivia's Old South - both were good. I liked the Olivia's Old South best as it had a good blend of eggs and sweet relish to balance out the chicken. I also liked the pimento cheese, which is made with just enough pimentos. The seasonal salad was a spinach salad with apples, feta, craisins, and nuts (I can't recall what type of nut though). I tried the salted caramel cheesecake; it's also good. The small buttercream frosted cookie was a delightful surprise! I've only ordered online, but the service was spot on. The restaurant stays busy, and the food is worth going back!

Walked in for the first time today, because I had heard it recently opened. The staff was friendly and very helpful in offering recommendations to a first time customer. The eating area is clean, but as a dude I definitely felt a little self conscious--this place is definitely geared towards females. But that's not a negative, just an observation of aesthetics. But the FOOD. The food was the best part. I will definitely recommend this place to my friends!

Today I had lunch at Chicken Salad Chick for the first time and had an amazing experience. Walking up, I noticed so many people having lunch on the patio and the inside was pretty full as well. There was no wait and the staff was so helpful, thank you Naadira, for helping me to order. I went with the Jalapeño Holly BLT and grape salad which was very sweet, both were delicious. I am excited to try the broccoli salad also. My order also came with a pickle slice and a mini frosted cookie, which I did not expect but enjoyed. What a wonderful touch. Thank you so much everyone

Wonderful place! Chicken salad is amazing and so many flavors to choose from. Soup is really good too! Such a cute place and warm, inviting atmosphere. Lots of choices of sandwiches, salads, and fruits too. Staff is so friendly and attentive! Reasonable prices! Just check your food before you go-I've had to take my order back several times. But totally worth it!!

Read the reviews, and I'm not sure what all the hoo-ha is about. It was pretty run-of-the-mill, I thought. Got a chicken salad sandwich on toast, but I don't even think they toasted the bread. Not bad, but not awesome either.

This place is absolutely delicious! Chicken salad isn't at the top of my list, but this place definitely is! We walked In and everyone was super friendly. The lady who took our order was super friendly and made a ton of suggestions, and everything turned out fantastic! The have a wide variety of chicken salad options and side options! Everything is freshly made and you can tell! This would be a great lunch option!

Went here for the first time on 21 Dec for lunch (To go order): BBQ chicken salad (small) that they have pre packaged Classic chicken salad sandwich on a croissant w/ jalapeño chips and a drink added for $1.99 *comes w/ a dill pickle and a sugar cookie Drink- They have your standard soda dispenser and next to it, they have sweet tea/unsweetened tea, lemonade and it looks like pink lemonade.. I concocted my own: half lemonade/pink lemonade (very good!!) Now that we got that out the way! When I ordered, I asked the cashier if the croissant was toasted or warm? She said that they didn't get there toaster in as yet but the bread is toasted if you get bread vs croissant?!? Ooohkaaay... I got the croissant The chicken salad was ok, didn't really have a lot of flavor.. I mainly tasted Mayo.. The croissant was cold..Sandwich would have been much better if the croissant was toasted or warm I tried a little bit of the BBQ chicken salad and I thought that was much better than the original.. It had a nice smoky taste, and more flavor! To wrap this up: 1) Expensive 2) Not really impressed 3) Nice place to go for lunch, for a nice lite meal 4) I would eat here again, but wouldn't go out of my way

Chicken Salad Chick is a welcome change to our eating out cycle on the Peninsula! Having chicken salad here is great as the people tend to be nice, the store is clean and new, they have lots of variety- and I haven't had any bad flavors of chicken salad from here yet!

This was our first time going. My 14 yr old daughter wanted to come. It reminds me of a toned down pioneer woman set up. A little country but southern belle meets bed n breakfast... very clean restaurant. It was cute like a a boutique but restaurant style. Anyways we were greeted timely. The server allowed us time to choose and did not make s recommendations as She allowed the menu to it's job. (Thank you for that). The price wasn't bad very affordable. Maybe a good lunch treat every now and again. My daughter ordered the Buffalo scoop with grape salad. She demolished it. It agreed with her and she did not get sick so thanks for that too. She seemed pleased and wants to return.

Pros: I absolutely loved this place. Very cute concept. Relaxed country chic decor. My chicken salad was great and the soup options change daily. You can get another scoop of chicken salad as your side (in lieu of the soup or various fruit and pasta salads options) or you can purchase some scoops from the already made case. That scoop was enough for me to make 2-3 more sandwiches at home. Cons: The staff. Clearly in the evening they are either local college or high students and they just talk about any and everything right at the register. The drink area was frequently sticky and more than once the fountain soda was out and they offered me a bottled water instead or to drink the iced tea or lemonade (I don't like either of the latter). The desserts items weren't very good but let's face it, no one is there for that. It can be a little pricey for a quick casual spot but it's tasty.

Great food. Wish I lived closer. The service you get is key and here they care about you. They hire staff that can articulate their words and are knowledgeable. None of that neck rolling or rushed service!

I'm not a huge chicken salad fan but this was delicious! Ordered the Old South with the grape salad and everything was delicious. Right down to the sweet little cookie. Will definitely order again.

Wow! Chicken Salad Chick is beyond basic. I wasn't sure what to expect but many people told me to try it out. When you walk in there's a grab & go area with all of the different types of Chicken salad flavors coming in a small size that is around $6.99 and the larger size around $12-$13. This is nice if you are in a rush or already know what you want. Being gluten intolerant all of their chicken salad flavors are GF which is amazing. They offer soups and other sides as well. There are even a few V options. The only thing I really wish they'd add is GF Crackers or bread. They can make sandwiches and they give you lots of Crackers in your bag. This would be an awesome addition so I don't always have to go home and frab my gf bread or Crackers. The lemony Basil is my favorite flavor! Even my parents love this place. It gives a southern homey feel.

Yum, yum, yum super good chicken sandwich and delicious soup. I have yet to try something here that is just ok. Everything is so good. Yummelicious!
