I go to this chicken salad chick all the time. The lady at the window was super nice as always I ordered two pounds of two different kinds and a half pound, when I got home I only had one pound and two half pounds. I saw on my receipt they charge for the full pound so I called and talked to Jeff he was nice took all my info and told me how he would make it right. Then I receive text messages that say he reviewed the video and I received my food and he wouldn’t be leaving any notes for anything free. Number one it’s not about free it’s about getting what I paid for Number two be fire you send a text stating what you won’t do make sure you are clear on what you heard in the conversation. Very disrespectful to misunderstand and then be rude in your messages on top of it clearly from my pictures and my receipt you can tell I didn’t get what I paid for so it wouldn’t be anything left for me for free just give me what I paid for

This was my 1st visit here - scheduled my 1st meeting of 2025 & who I was meeting chose this place & im so happy she did ! Let me start by saying the atmosphere - when you walk in you’re acknowledged - I walked up to the counter & there was Grace at the counter I advised her it was my 1st visit there & I was super excited - she was very knowledgeable of the menu - shared recommendations with me & also advised that you can sample whichever chicken salad you like & as many as you’d like . Very impressive so I narrowed it down to 2 options; sampled & made a decision the Olivia’s Old South along with some broccoli & cheddar soup . When I tell you it was delicious , served with a fresh pickle slice , butter crème frosted cookie yum 😋 & as we were sitting Grace came over & dropped off a cookie & said “a cookie for you as a first time guest” wow 😳 can I say yummie yum ? Now, let me tell you about the managers I had the pleasure of meeting Thomas & Jeffrey - very professional , friendly & actually snapped a few pics with me & of my friend & I . Thank you guys -as I always try to do all my google reviews whether Good or Bad - these guys were very nice ! I highly recommend you trying them if you have not ! Addendum we had to go Back - 😋😋 just know 2nd time around was even better - the service is still awesome , the food is still great quality & the Cake made it so much better this time around lol 🤣🤣 Thanks Thomas, Mgr for taking the time out to take a pic with us & sharing some great information with us . This was my first time eating here and it was great! I ordered the Classic Carol and got a fruit cup. The chicken salad was as expected, and the fruits ( a mix of grapes, strawberries, and blueberries) were all very fresh. It also came with a small cookie, and because it was my first time, they gave me a free cookie (I'm not sure if this is normal, but I thought it was very nice). They had the food ready immediately and even came around to check and make sure everything was good. Good food, great service, a little pricey, but I will be back.

Never disappoints. Food is tasty and love the variety. Service is always stellar and the place is always sparkling! Fancy Nancy is my go to. More like a diner vibe, not fast food.

I really enjoyed the food here. I got the BLT with the “Fancy Nancy” chicken salad on it with a cup of soup. Everything was fresh and just tasted really good. Additionally, the cleanliness in the restaurant was immaculate. Everywhere was super clean from the kitchen to the dining area to the restrooms. The price was reasonable and it had a really good friendly atmosphere. It was a nice change from typical fast food, nothing greasy, just good clean tasty food. I will certainly be making this a regular stop and recommend you do the same. I saw some of the less favorable reviews. I didn’t get just a scoop of the chicken salad so I can’t comment on what that would taste like, but I can tell you that on the sandwich it was fabulous. You owe it to yourself to give it a try, I think you will be glad you did.

So I’m going to the fast food next door and missed the turn. Since I had a trailer I was stuck. I almost did a little sneak next door but decided to try this place. Amazing. So clean, and cozy, and the food. Dang. I’m a picky guy, this place was so good. And they even put this neat little cookie on my tray. It is the little things to show you care and they certainly do. Eat here.

Why don’t you provide a bag for food in drivethru anymore? I was handed a container and a bag of chips. Those black styrofoam containers can easily open in your car and transport. The lids don’t fit on cups and spills liquid in car. Terrible service. I called and was told the bags were a cost cutting measure from new ownership. Perhaps if you can’t afford to provide a bag to drive thru customers , you shouldn’t have made the purchase. .

Excellent customer service, the General manager was so friendly. The place is very clean and kid friendly. So many fresh options and gluten free options. Would come back again

I love this place! I know it is a franchise place but their chicken salad it great. I love you can get it in a scoup with just crackers. Soups are good. Mac and cheese is great. Cookies are a sweet treat. Very southern. Place looks like an old fashion small diner.

My wife and I enjoyed a weekday lunch at Chicken Salad Chick and enjoyed it. This Mandeville restaurant has a casual but stylish persona with a decorating style of definite appeal to the ladies. Their specialty is a variety of different takes on southern chicken salad and there is something to appeal to most any taste. A variety of tasty sides are also available. Besides eat in and window take out lunches, bulk containers of the signature chicken salads, etc. are available for pick up. Counter service is friendly and efficient. I had the jalapeño chicken salad on wheat with mac & cheese and my mate had the more traditional Dixie Chick with a very tasty loaded potato soup. Prices are a little steep, but quality is high. Chicken Salad Chick is a worthwhile stop!

I've eaten here a few times and haven't yet had anything on this menu that I didn't like... but make sure to come inside to visit the counter... the little girl that works the drive thru could use an attitude adjustment. And ya not so much what she said, but how she said it!

Much improved experience on this visit. We had a heartier portion this time on the Jazzy Julie white bread sandwich with fresh tomato and lettuce. We added the Loaded Baked Potato Soup to The Chick meal. I would like to see the potato chuckscooked down softer but it was a hearty soup. The Watermelon Tea was unique and refreshing.

What's not to say about this little foodie delight!!! I had two different selections. I had the jalapeño Holly and kickin Kay Lynne. Both were delicious. This is the second time I've eaten at chicken salad chick and I'll be returning when I can. Both of the chicken salads I chose had a nice little bite. So if you don't like spicy then select something off the savory or fruit and nutty groups.

Refreshing food and atmosphere. They have a really good menu very interesting. Plus so many different recipes of chicken salad there has to be the right one for everybody. The staff if very pleasant and these days that is no longer the norm.

Very cute pleasant atmosphere for dining. Coke Zero tasted off. I ordered the Dixie Chick chicken salad and it was without onion . It was too busy so I did not tell them. The baked potato soup must be pre-packaged as the potatoes were not cooked enough. The presentation was nice but disappointed in my meal.

More like Salty Chicken Salad Chick. After my last few reviews people are going to think I'm some kind of contrarian. I am a busy dude. This often means that I don't get to cook as often as I'd like. Delivery is usually my go-to since most fast food kind of sucks. But this place seemed different so I gave it a try the other night. First off, it is different than your traditional fast food joint. That's a good thing. Second, the food looked way better on the menu than it actually was. I opted for the three scoop sampler of some of their spicy offerings. The names are absolutely ridiculous, but they were The Jalapeño Holly, Kickin Kay Lynee, and Jazzy Julie. Ordering that made me cringe. Anyway............ The three scoops weren't awful, but they weren't good either. Advertising them as spicy is pretty false advertising as they were not. The overwhelming taste is got was salt and it was somewhat overpowering. It was almost as if whoever made it spilled a ton of salt and said whatevs. Will I be back? Maybe. It is super convenient and something different.

I will definitely go back. I got the potato soup and some chicken salad on a croissant and they gave me crackers and a cookie. I also had an unsweetened tea. I ate very bit of it and was stuffed afterwards!. I can't remember the name of the chicken salad but it had a kick to it and was delicious. The time at the drive thru was quick and it's a decent price for all the food you get. It's a nice change to the usual fast food places.

After visiting pretty regularly at least once a week for the last couple months I have to say their food remains consistently good however they still have not worked out how to speed things up. If you visit during the lunch hour be prepared to wait inside for at least 10 or 15 minutes or if you try the drive through it'll be at least 20 min or more.

I know, it's a chicken salad place. Who would have thought you could support an entire staff of service-oriented folks with chicken salad??? Well, now I know why; it's a delicious product! I've tried all of the flavors - even ordered by name - and they are all tasty, tasty. My favorite is the Barbie-Q; it's not a saucy BBQ, more like a good dry seasoning flavor, and it is fantastic. The Buffalo, too, is one of my favorites, as is the Kickin' Kay Lynne (kitchen sink style!). I haven't tried any of the flavors as a sandwich, yet, but it's coming. They're just so good I always want to get an entire scoop to munch on and share! The tortilla soup is a brothy style dish, rather than creamy, which is how I like, and it's one of the better ones I've enjoyed around town. The broccoli salad is well done with bacon, lots of crunch, and it's very good. The service here is phenomenal. One thing I lament, often, is how terrible customer service has become - especially among the established fast food chains. The folks here are out to break that stereotype. Offering friendly advice, lots of smiles, and a willingness to make a customer's experience at CSC memorable, I'd probably come here even if the food wasn't as good as it is. Luckily, at Chicken Salad Chick, you get both!

Delicious Chicken Salad! Today is opening day and they were still busy at 3:00. Even with that I had my food within 3 or 4 minutes. You order at the counter and they bring it out to you. I had the Classic Carol chicken salad on a croissant. So good! Even better than I expected. Probably the best chicken salad sandwich I've had. I got the meal so it came with a side, a pickle and a small cookie. I got the mac-n-cheese which was also good. You can also get fruit or a couple other options.To drink I had lemonade which was also probably the best lemonade I have ever had! Very nice restaurant. Nice decor. Bright and inviting. It couldn't be any better.

Finally a fast food restaurant with a "light lunch" menu on the north shore!! The staff was delightful & courteous. (Even though they are new & nervous, they have nothing but smiles on their faces) I tried the The Barbie-Q Chicken Salad on a croissant with the Chicken Artichoke Florentine Soup. The sandwich was delicious and the soup was FABULOUS!! The prices were very reasonable and the menu is labeled with vegetarian & gluten-free options. And if you're counting calories, the menu is clearly marked with that info too. A great place for a "quick lunch" that won't make you feel guilty later... Let's just say ... I have a new favorite quick & healthy go-to lunch place!!

Great place to stop for lunch - and fast, too! I do find the menus at Chicken Salad Chick rather confusing - there are a lot of different chicken salads to choose from, but they also offer other sandwiches and salads as well. I usually go with the combo "The Chick" - it comes with a scoop or sandwich of your favorite chicken salad, a side OR a soup, and always has a pickle and a cookie with it. My favorite chicken salad so far is Olivia's Old South - it's a classic chicken salad and doesn't have extra nuts or fruit, which I'm not a fan of. But they also have lots of spicy options too. I usually get the sandwich on a croissant and it's very filling and delicious. The mac and cheese side was pretty good too, and the pickle and cookie make the meal. This location has a drive thru and it was speedy fast!

I happened across this restaurant looking for a quick dinner. OMG, it was such a great find. Really, really good food. I got a chicken salad sandwich. The meal has a side and a buttercream topped cookie (really good, small sweet 90 calorie finish to the meal...nice little touch). I tasted the pimento cheese sandwich too which is really good. Very southern sandwich menu but NOT the heavy, over Mayo-ie, greasy, butter toasted place you'd assume. Highly recommend. I had to try and remember my Yelp password to write this review because I liked this place so much.

I never knew about Chicken Salad Chick until recently. Now I eat there a lot and always order the classic salad with a scoop of Lauryns Lemon Basil chicken salad on top. So fresh I love it and crave it all the time. Plus they give you crackers and a tiny complimentary cookie.

This is one classy and fancy place if your looking for chicken salad of all kinds. My coworker was grieving about this restaurant. So I gave in. This was my 2nd time here and this time I got the soup. Omg it was everything to me. It warmed me up. The different varieties of chicken salad sandwiches will blow your mind. The decor is super cute and the staff was extremely nice and very helpful. I will definitely be back.

I stumbled upon Chicken Salad Chick while I was visiting from out of town, thanks to Yelp. Never did I think I would live to see the day that an entire restaurant was based solely on chicken salad but I'm cool with it, I love chicken salad. I ordered one of the traditional salads (there are several different ranging from fruity to spicy to choose from) on a croissant with a side cup of soup. I thought the price was pretty fair until I got back to the hotel room and saw that there was a measly scoop of chicken salad that didnt even spread the entire length or width of the croissant AND they forgot my soup. When you have a restaurant that only serves a very minimal food category, you've got to nail the orders AND make sure that customers leave happy. Was the chicken salad good? Yeah. Was there enough of it? No. Was I frustrated that I was still hungry and half my meal was missing? Yes. I'd go back if I was in town but definitely wouldn't hunt Chicken Salad Chick down so that I could eat there again.

Really enjoyed this place, somewhere you can get a lite lunch. I tried the zesty jalapeño and the fancy Nancy both were really tasty. About 90% of the people wore masks and everyone followed the 6 feet rule. Had my order to go and the staff was able to get out pretty quick.

Checked this place out for the first time and here's the review. First of all, they did a nice job on completely remodeling the old Wendy's. I visited to dine in around 1:45 pm and although they had a line of cars wrapped around the drive thru, there were only several customers inside placing orders and the place was only about 40% occupied. Staff was friendly and welcoming. After placing my order, I waited at my table for 20 minutes before I asked an employee where my food was. She took my receipt and said she would see what happened. Five minutes later she brought out my food. Total time about 25 minutes! I ordered a jalapeño chicken salad BLT on toasted wheat bread and an extra scoop of their original chicken salad. Well, the original chicken salad was extremely bland, had no chicken flavor or texture. Basically tasteless. It seemed the chicken was boiled then smashed up. The sandwich was very disappointing. The bread had only been toasted on the outside and was freezing cold like it was pre toasted then placed in the fridge. The bacon was crispy but also cold. The inside of the bread was soggy from not being toasted. The jalapeño chicken salad was the same bland original with a few jalapeños chopped in it. Again, no real chicken flavor and no texture. Shortly before I finished the meal, an employee came up to me with a CASH refund because I had waited so long for the food. That was nice and appreciated. Overall, probably a one time only place. The chicken salad across the street at Fresh Market blows this away! The chef/owner will have to do a much better job on overall efficiency, taste, quality, and presentation if they hope to last over a year in Mandeville.

Went in during lunch time on a Saturday. Lots of cars in the parking lot and drive thru. Was nervous we wouldn't get a seat but the inside is definitely larger than it seems! Walk in the counter was busy, but the guy waved us over and was able to help us right away. I ordered the Fancy Nancy on croissant with potato soup - DELICIOUS! I love fruit in my chicken salad. My mother ordered the Sassy Scotty on a croissant with Chicken tortilla soup - she enjoyed hers as well. Will definitely be back to try the grape salad! Price - I felt was a little pricey. But for $9 you get a full sandwich, cookie, side, pickle and a drink. It won't stop me from coming again though! Also- I'm pregnant and think I'll be here often. Chicken salad may be my food of choice throughout the next few months.

If you like chicken salad this is your place. I happened to look chicken salad so I thoroughly enjoyed eating at chicken salad chick. My husband had the spicy pimento cheese BLT on a croissant and absolutely loved it and even though I'm not a big pimento cheese person have to say it was pretty damn tasty. The service was quick and the dress is casual. And if you're in a really big hurry there's a drive-through. I can't wait to eat there again to try a different flavor of chicken salad I even bought a tub to take home.

A good alternative to the fast food places in the area. I thought the chicken salad I had (classic carol) was on the dry side and not much flavor. The side item I had was better and tasted fresh. I would go back and try a different variety. I was just a bit disappointed in the main item though, I thought it should have been the standout item.

I absolutely love this place ! It's my new favorite. In the last 30 days I have dined in once ( my first visit) and picked up to go twice . So far I have had classic carol, lemon basil, pimento cheese, fruity Fran , seasonal salad , cookies and fruit All were wonderful Today I placed my first catering order for our office of 17. The manager who helped me ( Michelle) could not have been nicer. My order was complicated with a lot of details , and she was certain to get every detail . With food this good and customer service this precise they will surely be a success. I hope we get another location in Covington .

I was in Mandeville, hungry & wanted a healthy option. I remembered that my coworker had brought back leftovers from Chicken Salad Chick & it was amazing, so I decided to stop and I am glad that I did. When I walked in I loved the bright decor & how clean everything was. I was greeted by the ladies at the counter. They were very helpful & patient. They offered to let me try samples if I couldn't decide. I ultimately chose the Kickin' Kay Lynne. I opted for a scoop & soup. The soup was chicken and artichoke Florentine. My food came out very fast. The scoop of chicken salad was so delicious as well as the pickle. The soup was also very delicious & came with plenty of wheat crackers. I was pleasantly surprised to find a little cookie on my plate, which was the perfect ending to a perfect meal. I will definitely be going back & will definitely be recommending Chicken Salad Chick to my friends & family.

Great experience always. My favorite is the Lauryn's Lemon Basil. The staff there is always friendly and welcoming. Always clean restrooms. This is the place to be and bring the whole family. Excellent service. The Mandeville Location is the Best.

I just don't understand all the hoopla over this place. I was really excited to try it, but I've had it twice and have been underwhelmed both times. First of all, I hit gristle both times I had it. My mom tried it and called me to say she'd hit a big piece of gristle, too. For those of us who are extremely picky about never wanting chicken gristle, this is a HUGE issue. It turns my stomach. I thought maybe the first time was a fluke, but with it happening a second time and also to my mom, I have to assume they just don't trim their chicken well enough. As far as the chicken salad, I'm just not a fan of the consistency of this particular chicken salad. I prefer chunks of chicken, and this is more the consistency of smooth tuna salad. That's strictly a personal preference, but worth noting if you're not a fan of this style. As far as flavor, I was disappointed. The one I had supposedly had bacon and cheese, but it didn't taste like it. Very mild seasoning. All in all, I was excited for a healthier fast food alternative, but, unfortunately, I'll have to wait for something else to come along.

Cons: The portions are ridiculously small. I ordered the sandwich with Kickin' Kailynn chicken salad. The chicken salad was glopped only in the center of the bread yet still the sandwich was almost completely flat. 1 piece of lettuce and 1 slice of tomato that only covered about 1/3 of the bread. Despite boasting about buffalo sauce, sriracha sauce, and jalapenos there was barley any spice at all. Overall the sandwich was bland and unappealing. I also ordered the pasta salad as my side item which was also a tiny portion. It could have fit in a tiny sauce to go cup. It tasted fine for the 3 bites it took me to eat it. $22 for a Trio and a sandwich and side and we were still hungry after... not good. Pros: The staff was awesome. Super friendly and helpful pointing out what we might like since it was our first time there. They knew the menu well and were courteous and prompt. The place itself was clean and inviting. We took our order to go since the place was packed but our food still came out in a timely manner.

I love the original version. No crackers for me and it's great low carb keto friendly meal. Try them out you won't be disappointed. I add a little mustard on top for no added calories too.

I am loving this place! I am a huge fan of chicken salad and couldn't wait for Chicken Salad Chick to open. They have a meal deal "The chick" where you get either a sandwich or a scoop and then a side. To get the most bang for your buck, order a sandwich and then get a scoop of chicken salad as your side. The chick also comes with a pickle and a yummy little cookie. The first time I went I tried the classic carol (original) on a croissant and got a scoop of the kickin kay lynn as my side. I was pretty full and couldn't even finish the whole sandwich. I loved the kickin kay lynn, it had a kick to it but it wasn't too spicy. I enjoyed my sandwich but as far as the original chicken salad goes, I would have to say that La Madeline's probably tops it. However, getting to choose from fun flavors certainly goes a long way for me. The second time I came back, I ordered the kickin kay lynn sandwich with a side of the chicken florentine soup which was also very good. I got a small order of the sassy scotty to bring home to my fiance and we really enjoyed that as well. The staff seems super friendly and they walk around to see if they can get you anything.

Just discovered this place. I really love chicken salad, so this is a great place for me. Pretty expensive, but there's a decent rewards program if you download the app. I wouldn't get the classic one because it's pretty plain, especially if you get it on a sandwich. The scoops go a long way, I just wish they would give you a stack of crackers instead of having to open each individual package. Each meal comes with a frosting covered cookie, which is not even worth eating.

Nice bright clean decor. My kids request to come here. Great fast food alternative. Egg salad yummy. My son enjoyed the loaded backed potato soup. Nice touch is they give a small cookie with every meal.

Have been been here 4 or 5 times so far and have enjoyed it each time. I have tried different scoops and each have been very good. The variety of chicken salad has made me try flavors I wouldn't have made myself.

Love the classic carol salad and cranberry kelly!!!!My best advice is to get there when they open at 11 because they get crazy busy after that time.

Met a new friend here for lunch today. The general manager happened to be taking the orders. He was very nice and accommodating. My new friend is pregnant and was having a really hard time deciding on what to order. He was very patient with her and offered up samples to soothe her pregnancy blues. He smiled the whole time and made us feel welcomed. The food was great. I had the south chicken salad sandwich. It was fresh and so was the croissant. The fruit was also fresh. And I must mention the cookie treat, it was delicious. When we were wrapping up the meal, a member of staff offered to discard our trash. The restaurant was clean and so was the bathroom. I have tried the food once before picking up drive thru and was pleased. If you are looking for a healthy tasty choice in a sea of fast food, try the chicken salad chick.

Oh my. I'm visiting from Los Angeles and wanted to eat a light lunch but not sure where to go. Yelp did not disappoint. This is the cutest lil restaurant I have ever seen. I'm just sorry they don't have one in California. Loved the food, loved the staff, especially loved the decor!!!! Great lunch!!! If only I lived near by!!!!

Had to wait a long time. Had the sampler. The flavors tasted like their description. Something different.

Only 1 star because 0 is not an option. Went for lunch. Got the buffalo chick salad and a side salad. It was very small potion. I left and went shopping. I had to stop and get something else. I was still hungry. I will not return or and will tell other to avoid.

The portion size definitely left a lot to be desired, especially for the price. I liked what I got, it just wasn't enough food for what I paid. I ordered the chicken salad with the grapes and Fuji apples. In the whole sandwich there was maybe 3 chunks of apple and 1 grape cut in half, however it did have good flavor. I ordered the mac & cheese as a side and that looked and tasted extremely fake. I will definitely give it another chance one they work out the kinks.
