I want to take a moment to recognize Chicken Salad Chick in The Woodlands at the Kingdom Chick location for something that matters just as much as good food: compassion and integrity. We did receive an incorrect order, and while that is frustrating anywhere, the timing made it especially hard as our family had just said goodbye to one of our dogs. What truly stood out was not the mistake itself, but how it was handled afterward. The local owner, Chris, personally reached out with genuine empathy, kindness, and accountability. There was no defensiveness and no excuses, just sincere care for what we were going through and a clear desire to use the situation as a learning opportunity for his staff. He made it very clear that the goal was not to place blame, but to help a good team do even better. That kind of leadership says a lot. Mistakes happen. What defines a business is how they respond, and this response was thoughtful, respectful, and handled with real grace. It turned a disappointing moment into a reminder of why we continue to support local businesses like this one. And yes, the tortilla soup really is that good. Tuesdays and Saturdays, for anyone wondering. Thank you for treating customers like people, not order numbers. That kind of care sticks with you.

Not very often I walk into a restaurant now a days and feel absolutely at ease. The girl at the counter was patient and kind with my questions, the manager chimed in and after overhearing offered me samples of my questions. It’s a simple gesture that shows she cares and listens but anticipates. I don’t remember her name, but from what I can see your employees are happy. Keep it up.

Chicken Salad Chick is the best!! This store had a great atmosphere and super nice staff. They brought out our food very quickly. While ordering we were offered samples and given time to make our decision. It was clean and the food, especially the grape salad, was delightful. 🥰

I love this place so much, I think the fruit here isn't always great, but I think it depends. I should say something but it's not too big of a deal to me. Their BLT with classic Carol chicken salad is ALWAYS great and so is the tortilla soup. And yes I wait until Tuesday to come get the chicken tortilla soup. ALSO I just tried the seasonal strawberry salad, it was fantastic with the poppy seed dressing!

My daughter took all the cookies from our meals to the counter asking could she trade for a flower cookie. Instead of letting her or just asking us to pay before we leave they walk her to the table and explain we don’t do that. So much for building a child’s courage at 4 to even go politely asking.

1st visit. Placed to go order, staff very personable and enthusiastic. Food is delicious, I will be back to try more chicken salad flavors. I had croissant sandwich with Classic Carol and a side scoop of Cranberry Kelli. Cookies good too.

I loooooooooove Chicken salad Chick. My favorite is the jalapeño holly. It’s always great to come inside here and have my lunch and do some work because it’s so quiet. The atmosphere is great. The workers are awesome and very attentive. I love it here.

I love this place. I do not have one near me but when I do go near one, I make it a point to stop and eat there. I got take out at the Pasadena TX. location 2 weeks ago and they never asked me if I wanted lettuce, tomato, and pickles in my sandwich. But when I stopped to eat at the Woodlands TX location, the young lady did ask me if I wanted lettuce and tomato and I really appreciate that she asked because I do love my sandwich with lettuce and tomato. So please ask if we would like those when we go eat there or go through the drive through. If I had to say something negative about the Chicken Salad Fancy Nancy, which is my favorite, I would say to add more grapes to the sandwiches. Because on my visit in Pasadena, TX, my sandwich did not have any grapes in the chicken salad. And the one in the Woodlands, there was only 1 grape in my sandwich. So don't hold back and limit the grapes please. I love the broccoli salad, it is so delicious!!! I love the cookies, they are so delicious. The kosher pickle on the side is a nice treat as well. I did enjoy the pictures hanging on the bathroom wall. :-)

Every time I've eaten here the service has been wonderful! The employees will let you sample the chicken salad so you can figure out what you like. The restaurant is always clean and the food is delicious. I've been getting the jalapeño chicken salad on a croissant with tomato and potato soup it's so good. My husband normally gets a turkey sandwich on a croissant with macaroni and cheese. The little sugar cookie that accompanies your meal is perfection. Everything here is wonderful and the employees and their great customer service keeps me returning.

This is a very pleasant place to stop for lunch. They can make the chicken salad into a Sandwich or serve it in a low carb form. The plates come with a variety of sides. A variety of breads and there's at least 12 different kinds of chicken salad on offer. It was clean. It was Friendly. It was very Slow paced and very pleasant for a fast food type restaurant. And it was really quite reasonable about 23 dollars. For two including drinks. And a cookie.

We ate there Saturday for a quick tide me over lunch. Split the sandwich with cranberries and nuts. It was just right, and added to the enjoyment was the super nice, informative waitress. It was our first time to the chain--we'd heard of it, but there's not one where we live. I have since found out I can drive 20 to 30 minutes and partake again. (Nice touch--comes with a little frosted butter cookie.)

I've been here twice so far and it's always the same kind of customer service! Good! The ladies are so kind! It's so busy here during lunch hour. Parking lot gets full quickly. If you park in the Burger King lot your car will be towed! I was in the restaurant when one of the staff asked if any of their customers parked in the lot... while watching the tow truck hook the car! So sad!!!

Order at counter. Very fast service. I loved the potatoe soup so much I ordered one to go for my daughter. She loved it. I got the trio with the potatoe sound, the scoop of the one with apples (it was a little bland) and the grape salad (so good!). Overall a great light meal but o was hungry an hour later

The food was fresh and it tasted so good! I would recommend The Fancy Nancy if you like Chicken Salad. The menu was a little overwhelming. The cute little names are a little difficult for first time guests. The restaurant was clean and the ambiance is cute and appropriate for this establishment.

There is something for everyone in terms of flavor here. If you're a chicken salad fan, you won't be disappointed. The red velvet cake is delicious as well!

This is my absolute favorite lunch spot. The Disney land of lunches, my happy place. The chicken salad is fantastic, the grape salad is life changing and they give you A COOKIE!! Omg, if I could live there I would.

My first time in Chicken Salad Chick. Wish I'd found it sooner. I'm staying at a nearby hospital with a family member and was so tired of eating at all the regular old hamburger chains. I wanted something delicious and found CSC on my Google map. I had the Fancy Nancy chicken salad on toasted wheat berry bread. Yum! It came with a crisp dill pickle spear and one side and I chose broccoli salad which was freshly made. They had huge slices of white and red velvet cake for dessert. I chose white cake, which I love, and it was so good. Their iced tea was as good as what I make at home. I wasn't sure which chicken salad to choose, as they have several varieties, but the sweet girl behind the counter allowed me to sample several. Will definitely return here.

I knew about this chain a long time ago, just wasn't near any locations. I am big fan of chicken salad , so I was glad to see this location near me. This place did not disappoint. I had the Scotty sandwich, and it was awesome. I paired it with a side of macaroni and cheese and a lemonade. Service was quick and friendly. Ambience was quiet- which I love. Will be back again .

Why 4 stars? Because this is always a great, fast-casual fix. --- --- --- I've patronized several Chicken Salad Chick's now, and it always hits the spot for me. I have tried a couple other options, but Barbie-Q is the best and I won't listen to any dissenting opinions on that. It's also near impossible not to order some pimento cheese while you're here and the grape concoction as the side dish to the Barbie-Q chicken salad (on a croissant bun, of course). The strawberry lemonade might as well be coffee with how intensely tart and sweet it is. It would wake someone from a coma. I don't recommend it if you're sensitive to those flavors. But if you dig that stuff, you'll be a fan. Either way, Chicken Salad Chick is a rare chain restaurant I enjoy and will never be upset about visiting,

Fruity Fran is scrumptious! I got a lot of the different flavors for my family to try. All are so good. Great for a lunch, shower, or meeting.

Stopped in for a quick lunch. The hubby is a fan of the chain. It was surprisingly busy at this location during lunch. The restaurant appeared to be fully staffed with friendly staff. You can always sample a chicken salad before you make your purchase. He had the Lauryn's Lemon Basil and I had the Cranberry Kelli. I did add onions on the side to give it more flavor. Depending on how much flavor you like, it can be bland. You can always add your own salt and pepper or ask for onion or celery on the side. It was just refreshing to have on a very hot day.

This was the first place we ate at after three months of staying due to COVID. We both enjoyed it very much. They are taking steps to be responsible by blocking off every other table or booth. They require a mask upon entry and until you sit at your table. I had the scoop lemon basil. I loved it and have decided it's MY favorite!!! Husband had the chicken salad BLT. He said it was good, but looking forward to try some of the others. We will definitely be back.

This is the first time to Chicken Salad Chicken and we are now big fans! The food was great, service excellent and a nice peaceful atmosphere. Highly recommend if you have not stopped to visit. Thank you!

i would reconsider before working here. save yourself the time and energy! management is very corrupt. just underwent new ownership recently and they will have you deep cleaning the restaurant, working in the back and managing the front for $11 an hour while the managers criticize you for no reason. no employee discount when you're not working. it's probably not a good sign when ur working somewhere where everyone wants to leave. no respect or consideration. denying ppl their raises. making comparisons. if you like to be picked on for an entire shift and taken advantage of for your kindness and hard work, come work here. i will be spreading awareness!

The food is amazing, the service with smile makes you want to come back. The cleanliness of The Woodlands location is impeccable. My son was home from college before summer classes started and we decided to order so he would have food for the week to snack on. He enjoyed his Dixie Chick and my favorite is the Barbie-Q. We got large size so he could enjoy for several days, however, he had to hide it from himself in the frig or it would've been gone in one day. He just spooned it out of the container no bread, no croissant or salad needed.

First time here and the staff could not have been friendlier. They helped me through the menu, letting me try a few things, and landed on the sassy salad on a cross isn't with broccoli salad and pimento cheese (some of the best Ive had). The only change is next time, I wouldn't get the sandwich. So good- quick, easy, fresh and very filling!

Customer service went above and beyond expectations. The restaurant is alive during lunch but for the people who like a nice and quiet dinner it's an amazing place. The food wasn't only top notch it hit all the right places for comfort.

Love the Fancy Nancy and Sassy Scotty chicken salads. Very attentive and welcoming front of store employees at the Conroe, TX, restaurant. Counters are kept clean and neat and you get good portion size for the price.

Nice venue for father daughter day lunch. No music no outdoor seating, average soup (Chicken - Artichoke) in a small portion "bowl." One of these days I'll open my own restaurant and offer meal sized bowls for $6/ea. Good counter service: order, pay, take a number, find a table. Another sandwich shop.

Wow. A place that specializes in chicken salads. And it is good if only they paid more attention to their side dishes. Service is very friendly and fast. My partner had the egg salad on toasted whole wheat bread and I had the one with apples and grapee, both very good for a light lunch but the sides of potato soup and cheesy Mac were mediocre. All meals get a frosted sugar cookie. A bit cutesy, the very clean nice restrooms are labeled Chicks and Chick Magnets and all the sandwiches have the first names of people. Recommended for a fast pretty healthy lunch, although I did see someone lingering over a book. They need to up their game on the sides.

This place is amazing!! Its my first time here and I am going to be a regular. The chicken salads that I have tried on this first visit are simply delicious. I order a special "The Chic" with the classic Carol on a croissant which comes with the option of having an additional scoop as a side so I got the Olivia's Old South which is basically the Carol with sweet relish and egg. Both are delicious also comes with a pickle spear and cookie. And the extra scoop came with wheat crackers. There a few other options on the menu and several different sides including Mac&cheese. I plan to try them all in due time. Great customer service and reasonable pricing. They also have an app that makes them super convenient during lunch rush hours. If you have one near you or come across one and you like chicken salad I strongly recommend Chicken Salad Chic.

It's a nice place and a surprisingly varied menu as long as you like chicken salad. I had the Lauryn's lemon basil salad. It's a good mixed salad with cherry tomatoes and a scoop of seasoned chicken salad. It only too about 4 minutes to deliver my order to my table. It's a good light and healthy meal.

Yum. My first time here and I wish there were one in Montgomery. If there were, I'd be there for lunch weekly. They have so many kinds of chicken salad. I hate Olivia's Old South. But I want to try the Classic Carol, the lemon basil one, the Sassy Scotty, The Fancy Nancy, and the Fruity Fran. The bbq and Buffalo ones do not appeal. However, I like my chicken salad a mix of savory and sweet. Maybe they could consider a salad with dill and sweet relish, pineapple, apple, grape, walnut or pecan, celery, and egg?? And dill weed and celery seed and celery salt! That's mine at home and I love it. ‍

When I tell you I think of this place weekly. It's sooo Gooood. I recommend the Dixie chick flavor and the Kickin kay lynne. When I visit, I like to take it back to the house and make my own wraps and what not. But the flavors are just so good. I tell everybody. Hopefully one day we'll see Chicken Salad Chick in LA !

What a pleasant surprise. I remember reading about this franchise chain opening here in The Woodlands and I admittedly had my doubts. But I was busy running errands at nearby Walmart and Lowes. Pulled in to pick up a Subway Sandwich and saw this place next door with lots and lots of people going in and out (mostly women. Mostly what looked liked hospital and doctors office workers). So I went in. Got the meal deal. Choice of Scoop (with crackers) or sandwich of a selection of 12 chicken salads plus one seasonal chicken salad or several pimento cheese options. Plus one soup (had two choices Broccoli Cheese or Loaded Baked Potatoe) or one of 1/2 dozen side salads or chips. I ordered Dixie Chick (as only one with onions and I love onions In chicken salad) sandwich on wheat toasted (choice of white, wheat or croissant). With lettuce and tomatoe. Served with dill pickle wedge. Reasonably LARGE sandwich. Very filling and tasted. Bread is industrial soft and gluey however. I would ask for an additional pickle wedge as I like pickles with my chicken salad. Got a side of broccoli salad (a nice very healthy option). Broccoli is RAW. Not blanched. In a sweet Mayo/buttermilk dressing topped with bacon and cheese. Yes. This is DEFINITELY SOUTHERN chain. Bacon with veggies lol Full cup full (same size as 8 Oz soup cup). And very filling. All meal combos come with complementary mini butter cookie (quality just so so). A medley of iced tea options including seasonal watermelon (sweetened) and several lemonades. In addition to standard Soda fountain. Entire atmosphere is like a charming Old Southern Belles kitchen. Service is very prompt. A great non-burger, non-taco, non-burrito, non-BBQ, non-sub sandwich option for a quick. Relatively inexpensive lunch. Located under exit overpass along 242. Somewhat Limited parking.

Yummy delicious chicken salads not quite like grandma used to make. There are so many amazing favors and combos to chose from, it's hard to go wrong with any of them. I drive across Houston just to pick this up. I especially love their sides of broccoli salad and grape salad. This is a refreshing detour from fast food burgers and fries and you won't be sorry. Don't forget to grab an extra cookie, they are surprisingly wonderful.

Chicken gristle found in two separate salads. Very little taste, lots of chicken not enough fruit or nuts in it. The fresh fruit was fermented tasting. Disappointed!

Went today and yes they have awesome and no fellas you don't feel any less masculine going. In fact, going to a place like this shows you know awesome food. The service was top notch and the chicken and the pimento was awesome. Gave us a sample of artichoke soup that was legit. A keeper!

Perfect post workout meal I love the fruity Fran and sassy Scotty. I got mine on toasted wheat with broccoli salad and grape salad. The mini cookie they give you is a swear the best thing in the world!!! Leaves you so full and satisfied.

I love a good chicken salad and the options at CSC make my soul happy! Highly recommend it.

Clean, fresh and lots of options. I had been wanting to try this concept for a while but the one by me closes at 5pm so that's not convenient at all. This location closes at 8 which makes more sense. The cashier helped with choices, I had a sample to determine what I did and didn't want and I decided on a sandwich and some side salads because I wanted to try so many things. The set up is quaint, it was extremely clean and the service was great. What more can you ask for?

I love Chicken Salad Chick! So yummy everytime! I like their Fancy Nancy scoop and their broccoli salad is the best. I would eat here everyday if I could. Of course ending each meal with a mini buttercream frosted cookie is just the icing on the cake.

I love this place. Stopped for lunch yesterday for soup and sandwich and it was excellent as usual. They have a holiday option called Holly something with jalapeños and cranberry. Paired with broccoli and cheese soup this time. Everything I've had here is delicious. The staff is very friendly. The place is clean and cheerfully decorated. I'll be back often and recommend yo do as well.

I had never been intrigued by this place at all until my daughter's friend told us how much she liked it. That piqued my interest, so I decided to try it out and I have a new favorite! I love that they have so many chicken salad varieties, so that everyone can have it the way they like. The service is great and such a cute theme they got going on. Def recommend!

Christine and Sam were both working at the counter. They were incredible. I am by no means a fan of chicken salad, but this food made a believer out of me! I WILL be back!

This place is adorable! Came by during lunch-ish (2:30) and still decently busy. Couldn't find anywhere to park actually. But friendly chatter and great customer service. Ordered the "Fancy Nancy" on a croissant with a side of pasta salad. Both are delicious take very fresh. A great choice for a light, healthy meal. Would definitely recommend!

I wouldn't say it was a five star chicken sandwich but it was good. Customer service was top notch and the restaurant was clean and had a relaxing atmosphere.

Messed up my order, and whenever I called there was no hesitation to get it right. Manager came to my job and personally brought in the rest of the order that was missing. If this isn't great costumer service I'm not sure what is. THANK YOU!!! I'll be letting my Texas childrens team know that you're the best!

I wasn't a big chicken salad fan until I tried Chicken Salad Chick. All the amazing flavors and finally some place that doesn't automatically put onions in the chicken salad! If you haven't tried them, you should!

8/27/19-Sydney was very welcoming and helpful since it was my first time here. I got Olivia's old south. I didn't taste very much egg and was surprised at how smooth it was. I guess I was expecting some chunks of chicken. My main issue was that I got it to go and my broccoli salad juice got all over and made my sandwich soggy. It seems I kept it pretty flat in the car so I'm not sure how this happened. Maybe they should put it in a separate container? I'll give them another try. I like to support small businesses.

Food and service was fabulous! I will need to get back to try the different options of chicken salad.
