Chicken Scratch

Just had a delicious meal delivered from Chicken Scratch. We ordered the family combo and the chicken was incredible -- so juicy, flavorful, and well seasoned -- and we LOVE the dipping sauces! If you're ordering sides, don't overlook the potatoes... they sound simple but they're super crispy and flavorful. And the fried plantains are a great, semi-sweet side that we enjoyed like a dessert. Overall an excellent dining experience.

Finally I was able to order from chicken scratch and it was delicious! I ordered the whole chicken with 4 sides- Mac and cheese, bread rolls, crispy potatoes and the fried plantains. Every bite was better than the next. It came with plenty of yummy sauces to try as well. Not only was it a large meal, but the ordering and pick-up was so smooth. Highly recommend for everyone to try.

Had a very wonderful experience ordering from here. The chicken was very flavorful and crispy. All the sides were amazing especially the mac & cheese, potatoes and beans & rice. The three sauces were also great my favorite was the green sauce! We had this delivered and the delivery came right on time. Would definetly order again!

Love Chicken Scratch! I've now ordered a few times when I was looking for a hearty, but healthy meal - in true STARR form, the food is always consistent. The chicken is juicy and the stoplight sauces are extremely flavorful. The crispy potatoes are the perfect side - also a big fan of the rice & beans and mac & cheese. I struggle to find good salads for takeout - this one nails it!

My fiancé and I were having a few friends over on a Friday night and decided to get delivery... hands down, best decision! Everything was delicious. We loved the chicken with the different sauces. The black beans & rice and fried sweet plantains were amazing! Definitely our favorite sides. Chicken Scratch did not disappoint. We’re absolutely ordering again!

It was honestly great!! It really felt like a home cooked meal only better than I could've made haha. The chicken was so flavorful and juicy and the mac and cheese was insanely delicious. We had a ton of leftovers and you know it’s great quality food when the leftovers are just as good a day later. Definitely highly recommend and can’t wait to order from there again!

Excellent chicken, very solid sides (the roasted potatoes and garlic rolls are great, the mac and cheese is wonderful comfort food, the steamed veggies are exactly what they sound like, no-frills on their own but really nice paired with the stoplight sauces), and a super awesome team behind it all. We love Chicken Scratch!!

Can't recommend this place enough! The chicken is so flavorful and the perfect level of crispy. As a mac and cheese enthusiast I appreciate a mac that's creamy without being soupy and Chicken Scratch's Mom's Mac and Cheese delivered. An awesome takeout option when you're looking for something hearty that satisfies everyone in the group's taste, dietary needs, and personal preference. The accompanying stoplight sauces are the *chef's kiss* cherry on top.

Loved this place. Rotisserie chicken isn't something I really get excited about, though most of my experience with it are the ones from the grocery store and Boston Market. As expected, this put them to shame. The chicken was so flavorful on its own, and then you add in the dipping sauces and the taste is unbeatable. Before, I'd never choose rotisserie chicken over say, fried chicken, but Chicken Scratch was so juicy and the skin flavorful and slightly crispy... It has me fully rethinking rotisserie chicken. We got the family meal, which my wife and I were able to eat for two dinners. For our 4 sides, we got rolls, Mac and cheese, crispy potatoes, and plantains. The side options may not be the most exciting sounding, but they were all full of flavor and executed perfectly. One critique, we wanted a vegetable side, but they only offered a side of steamed vegetables. I'm sure the steamed vegetables were good, but they seemed like a boring side choice. Instead, we just steamed our own vegetables while we waited for the delivery. So, I hope they introduce a more interesting vegetable side in the future.

Loved it! First time, I ordered it out of curiosity just to see how come a rotisserie chicken costs so much :D but it was so good, my wife and I keep on ordering it every week. The chicken is amazing and I love the crispy potatoes! They do need to improve their veggie side option. The steamed veggies are pretty sad. Maybe some collard greens? I'll continue supporting the restaurant - great quality and very tasty. Keep on the great work!

Literally the best chicken sandwich / potato combo I've ever had. Even the bread was amazing. I love the simple servings, love the seasoning. Definitely my new favorite place . But I highly suggest you guys ( owner) start making a lemonade? Maybe a raspberry mint lemonade thing? Or do milkshakes? Some drinks please! With pizazz! Regardless though, keep cooking the way you guys do!!

We ordered the whole chicken, potatoes, Mac n cheese, vegetables, and plantains. It was excellent. Quick delivery and extremely tasty. Highly recommend.
