All the Philly Restaurants Referenced on ‘Abbott Elementary’ | Eater Philly

"Airport restaurants as last-minute Valentine’s Day dinner destinations become a discussion point during season 2; janitor Mr. Johnson mentions in the convo that he’s a fan of this local sports bar chain’s lobster roll." - Missy Frederick

Where to Watch NFL and College Football in Philly | Eater Philly

"No list of sports bars in Philly is complete without Chickie’s & Pete’s down by the stadiums. Yes, you can eat crab fries and shout at the refs at other locations of the home-grown chain, but with a 24,000-square-foot space, three bars, and an 18-foot screen, this godfather of Philly sports bars is the place to be on game days." - Ernest Owens

Famous Restaurants in Philly That Are Actually Good | Eater Philly

"The destination that was named the best sports bar in North America by ESPN started as a small corner bar, but has ballooned to 15 locations thanks to its signature menu offering: Crabfries. Decades ago, owner Pete Ciarrocchi perfected his recipe for the crinkle-cut French fries coated in a secret blend of spices and served with a creamy white cheese sauce. He even trademarked his creation. The famous fries are also available at the airport, the Jersey Shore, and all three professional sports stadiums." - Sarah Maiellano

Quite impressed with this place! Reasons to give it a 5* first - then the reason I knocked a star off. Service was great, the server was lovely, and brings you a large glass of ice water before you've ordered which is a nice touch. I had a breakfast sandwich with the steak, eggs, and cheese sauce. This really was 5/5. The pics don't do it justice as the sauce doesn't look appetizing - but it is! We ordered a side of their fries - big enough for 2. It's a large portion. I liked the seasoning a lot. But think there may be too much salt on them. But they were really good! My partner had the chicken cheesesteak. It was nice, but the chicken was quite dry With the chicken sarnie being a bit dry, and the fries having too much salt on them. It's a 4 from me Good portion size as well though - if you want to be full up, eat here!

Had a quick bite at Chickie’s & Pete’s in the Philadelphia airport and was pretty underwhelmed. The cheese or sauce just didn’t taste right — bland and a bit off. The meat didn’t smell appetizing either, which made the whole meal hard to enjoy. It feels like it could be much better with fresher ingredients and more attention to flavor. Not the worst, but definitely not something I’d look forward to again.

The wings were good, saucy and flavorful. The chicken sandwich was plain. Two chicken tenders between a ciabatta bun with some light sauce and pickle slices. Fries were decent. Service was good but it was busy so it took a while.

Absolutely ridiculous staff behavior! They called the cops on another patron when that patrons card was declined, and they were $2 short cash. We offered to cover the $2 shortfall and were told « no, it’s the principle » and then they CALLED THE AIRPORT COPS over $2. The red head bartender, the male manager with bonnet, and our server Sierra all stated it was due to the « principle. » cards get declined frequently when travelling. Your staff should be able to react professionally. As I stand here writing my review, the staff are loudly cussing and insulting the customers. Over $2! Amazing. What a poor representation of a great restaurant

Great service and food! Alana was awesome! We were seated after a few minutes and got our food and drinks quickly after. The table was clean and the food was delicious!

The roast pork sandwich was unbelievably good even without the cheese. The crab fries are unusual, but I loved them. Huge portions.

Affordable for the usual overpriced airport food and really delicious! Service was excellent, and paid around $30 for a Philly cheesesteak and a large thing of their famous crabfries w 2 cheese sauces. Very tasty and worth the experience :)

Very fast service, but also good for hanging out. Stopped in before an 8 am flight. Got a big breakfast sandwich and big beer that helped me sleep through the flight.
