We stopped here during a layover. They have a smaller closed s Place and a larger, more open space near gate A23. We were quickly seated, The lady taking our orders was attentive and nice and answered our questions They were our first Philly cheese steaks and we thought they were pretty good. For smaller appetites one sandwich would be enough as it comes halved. The fries and chicken wings were also generously portioned. Good enough for 2-3 people. One star deduction for the amount of salt in the fries and chicken wings. The sodium content is indicated in the menu but I didn't expect them to be so salty. You might want to ask them not to toss the fries in too much salt. Otherwise, everything was tasty and as the gate filled, the atmosphere became very lively.

I understand that awarding a five-star rating to an airport dining establishment is uncommon, especially considering the typically high prices. However, this venue offers an exceptional experience. Their Philly cheesesteak is outstanding, and the crab fries are delicious. Conveniently located adjacent to the international terminal, it’s easily accessible for travelers departing from this area. Even if you’re flying out of a different terminal, it’s worth the visit if you have the time. Seated at the bar, I was served by Vince, an excellent bartender who enhanced the great atmosphere. The staff is very nice, and the awesome food makes it a can’t-miss spot.

Google
Left out of Philly on Thursday morning, had a good experience with my bartender (I apologize for not asking her name) who was friendly, made a great Bloody Mary, and was helpful with my food selection. Would definitely go again and recommend to anyone waiting in terminal C. I was in the bar across from the restaurant😉

Google
Phantastic Philly cheesesteak! Perfect way to end my trip to the area. The nice lady that waited on me was so nice! Had a quiet table by the airside.

Google
I took tailgate burger. It tasted good. Meat was juicy and spiced well. Service was ok, although you have sometimes to wait to be seated.

Google
Had lunch here while waiting for a flight home. Ordered fries and a cheesesteak sandwich. It was fine for airport food, but it’s unlikely I would return to a location outside of the airport when there are so many better choices for cheesesteaks. Service was fine, it was loud and seating was in very close proximity to strangers which is uncomfortable. We were seated at a bar with unsupervised minors which likely influenced the experience.

Google
Food was good, service was good, but $1.79 fee to pay at the table using their "Sunday service" QR code and not disclosed is complete BS. Especially after adding a 3% service fee. It saves them time. Never eating here again

Google
This food was SO good.. the club chicken sandwich, seasoned fries. Shoutout to the guy who was wearing kitchen manager shirt (unsure his name) who was working his tail off to keep hot food coming out, and helping the team here when the place was so busy! And was so nice the whole time. Thank you!

Yelp
**3.5 Stars** Admittedly, I tend to down a few before I fly. (I'm totally afraid of flying.) These guys were quick to take and deliver my order -- even if it cost half my budget.

Yelp
Nicely run and clean establishment... get the nice and helpful manager "Qual" to fix you up with a cheese steak sandwich with American cheese and these terrific fries with "crab salt" or something or other-- very good! Airport foods can suck something fierce but this was a hearty cheese steak with excellent fried onions and quality meat, all prepared well. I was having the worst travel day of my life with delayed and cancelled flights and needed a good meal to set my hangriness straight and Chickie's And Pete's did the job-- Thank You, Qual!
google avatar

Justin B.

Yelp
Serviceable. And the service kinda forgets about you. A lot going on. Sodium warming. Fries are the same everywhere. Rest of the food is okay.

Yelp
Went here while waiting for our flight to board. Grab a few drinks and some fries since it was highly recommended by the bartender and all over the menu. Quick snack and drink, the cheese sauce was yummy!!
google avatar

Stacy A.

Yelp
Quick service, which is imperative at an airport! They also had a nice lounge for overflow seating which we an appreciated for a larger group!

Yelp
I ate here for breakfast one morning and got a breakfast sandwich with pork roll and eggs. I was amazed how much egg was on this. This was a great value for the price and this was a good sandwich too. This is a no-frills airport restaurant but this hit the spot! Four stars!

Addee M.

Yelp
Super quick service, not busy at all for lunch time. Waitress even had drink recommendations for me. Not sure where the crab is in the " crab fries " , but they were good. Lots of tvs.

Yelp
We needed an airport drink to kick off our trip to LA, as my girlfriend was coming to meet my fam. Heavy shots. Chickie's and Pete's became the OBVIOUS choice, the only choice really, when they had on the 1997 NBA Slam Dunk Contest that featured Kobe Bean Bryant. There were only like 2 servers working here, so I was a little stressed about time but literally right when we sat down we were handed a menu and within 3 minutes they were back ready to take our order. I got caught watching Kobe work so when she came back and my pookie said "vodka soda please," I was scrambling to look at the menu because I'm really shy and get scared to ask for one more minute.... especially when pookie threw me under the bus like that... I normally order wine, but after getting looked at like I just slapped a prime Ghandi in the face for ordering wine in divey places like this, I started folding like a lawn chair and ordering beer. Also that wine do be giving me a headache ahahaha. I scrambled to look for an IPA as I know these are respected in the beer community, and they're honestly not half bad. I saw the Founder's All Day IPA was from Grand Rapids, MI and I LOVE South Western Michigan so I had to rep. Our drinks were on the table within 2 minutes. Just absolute quality service, shoutout to our server, Lauren. We see you sis!! Keep workin they need to cut you a check the way you be grinding in here!! This has 2.8 stars on yelp but how could I not give it 5? Like that John Wooden quote my middle school basketball coach printed out and gave me back in 2008: "Be true to yourself, be true to those you lead." THANK YOU CHICKIE! THANK YOU PETE! Yelp
Was in the Philly airport and found Chickie's & Pete's in Terminal C. The restaurant looks great, so does the menu, but I only had time to get some Crab Fries (which is just fries in crab seasoning) along with a cheese dip. They were crinkle fries and tasted great. Had I known they were there, I would have arrived earlier at the airport so I could have had a full meal. If I do find another location in my travels, I plan to have a few things like wings, cheesesteak, nachos and maybe the burger!

Yelp
Come see miss Brooke she's amazing =) Made the best margaritas been here waiting for my flight to Dallas tx

Yelp
Always a fun stop with good food at chickie's and Pete's in Philly! We ate at the bar and Alexandro was our bartender / waiter. He was awesome and provided friendly and fast service. We visited the location in terminal A international. Clean and lots of seating. The crab fries were delicious as always - served with their cheese sauce. My husband loved his Philly cheesesteak and I loved my chicken cheesesteak. Great beer selection of local beers!
google avatar

Dolores D.

Yelp
They need more workers here. Got some fries and chicken strips to share and also got a sandwich. The sandwich was to much. Definitely order right away when they come to get your drink order. It's very tight inside.
google avatar

Yelp
I really love coming here for their cheesesteak sandwich. I find this place really put some care to it. Now I knock one star down because the place is so tiny and people keep bumping into you. Overall, great place to watch a sports game and get something to eat. Give them a try if you're in the area

Yelp
All I've ever had here is wine and cheese fries (which are fantastic), but my review is for the staff. The 2 waitresses that are working right now are so so kind and attentive. It's such a rarity, especially in an airport. They should get a holiday raise!

angela n.

Yelp
Terrible. Server/Bartender what the blonde hair and name starts with an L is ignorant and shouldn't be laughing in airport patrons faces and covering up her name tag when asked for her name.
google avatar

Daryl O.

Yelp
25 people at the bar, 15 people seated. One poor girl working everything, Including bartending. Food was good and hot. Tables all scratched and sticky. Girl blamed it on their cleaning agent. This girl was nice and a fast as one person could possibly be. Kudos to her. She needs a raise.
google avatar

Thalie A.

Yelp
I found myself captive at the airport because I left my food behind...dang, I hate overpriced airport food. Anyway, I had a bad hunger headache so I got the fried shrimp and regular fries (I don't like those crab seasoned fries) All was fresh and hot. Definitely eased my hangry headache. Mind you it's still way overpriced.

Yelp
Food was really good and our bartender was amazing. She suggythe fries and I am so glad she did they were delicious. The chicken Philly sandwich was so good. Loved it.

Yelp
Chickie's & Pete's I couldn't wait to share this experience. I'm currently traveling with family to Spain from Miami and had a layover in Philly. This is specifically to the location on terminal A at PHL next to our gate A21 We had a few minutes to grab a bite, so we saw this place next to the gate and wanted to try out a Philly Cheeseteak, after all were in Philly! When we walked in we sat on high top seats away from the bar and were immediately greeted by a gentleman that told us he would be right with us, within 30 seconds, I saw an empty booth and sat there with my family; however, a lady came over from the bar and told me I couldn't sit there because it had signs that it was closed (she pointed at signes that we're facing the window, not the public) so when I started to tell my family we had to move the gentleman that had approached me at first asked me what happened and after I shared he told me we were good to stay (1st great service act from this gentleman) After this, I shared with him we just noticed it flight was boarding in 20 minutes, he said: "you're good, what do you want?" I told him "a Philly and wings,", he said "I got you" And oh boy I didn't know how much the saying "I got you" means until today. This gentleman, who I learned was named Jacqual Donna and he was the manager demonstrated outstanding customer service and incredible attention to detail. When I asked for a beer he asked me what I liked and he picked one for me that was delicious. He brought in the Philly super quick and went across the gate aisle to get my son lemonade and the wings running. He charged my card súper quick and we were on time perfectly for our flight. Food was great, Philly was ok, wings were really good. And the sauce on the fries was on point. After having 3 minutes of an unpleasant situation when I first visited the place, this gentlemen, Jacqual, went above and beyond my expectations to show what good client care is. I'm thankful for having met him today. For those reading this... take the time to visit this location, ask for him, and tell him Santiago was grateful.

Yelp
Had extra time while we wait for connecting flight so we decided to eat here... Local ladies said the food was pretty good... Didn't expect much since I've never had good lucks inside airport.. Well staff was friendly short staffed so they were running around doing best they could. Ordered famous crabfries.. Asked why it's called crab.. Guess it's the seasoning. Large portion of fries with like old bay seasoning.. Pretty good.. I would have preferred little more extra crispy.. Two container of cheese sauce which was pretty good. Ordered fried crab Mac and cheese.. Didn't realize it was little fried balls filled with crab and Mac and cheese.. Well them little things were so tasty.. Nice crab flavor little hint of Mac and cheese. My initial bite I said Eww wth.. But then after taste was good.. Ate them all. Ordered classic Philly sandwich. Not the best Philly ever but it was pretty good.. And the bread was nice soft and chewy.. I thought the bread stood out the most I have to say of all the airport I've eaten.. This place is by far the best/yummy food place at the airport I've been to so far.. And the price was reasonal.. Nothing crazy.

Yelp
Why does this place even exist? Too busy to serve us drinks at the bar and asked for "cp guest" wifi password and was refused -- am I not guest? Well not a paying guest I guess since you are slow and understaffed.
google avatar

Yelp
Manager is awful, he just saying I'm the manger without any responsibility!!! We have 2 kids and they severed our food 30 mins after we ordered and didn't bring our kids food!!!! When I asked he said I took off from your bill!!!!! Stupid Money is not issue, we are here to get the food before our international flight!!! It's really bad
google avatar

Ruthie P.

Yelp
Slow paced so if you are in a hurry to catch a flight, not place to go. Sit down bar type food. Bland food so I was not impressed. Coffee was good thou. Breakfast was ok, not the best. Service is slow.
google avatar

Yelp
Great pit stop in the airport for some good old fashioned Philly cheesesteaks! The service was great. Ambiance was very busy and chaotic but I think it was just the time of day that we went and how busy it was at the airport. There were lots of delayed and cancelled flights especially with my flight being delayed we were lucky to have a nice pit stop for some good food. These food chain is located in surrounding areas of Pennsylvania, New Jersey and there are two locations in Reno and Las Vegas, Nevada. Overall delicious fries, cheese steaks. Don't stray to far Into the expensive seafood keep it classic with some fries and a cheese steak!! I attached the online menu for detailed viewing as well.
google avatar

Anne C.

Yelp
Very slow service, although our server was very friendly. Food was incredibly dry. The mushroom swiss burger had very few mushrooms and no sauce on it as it shows in the menu photo. Also, not sure how you manage to dry out fried mozzarella sticks in a deep fryer, but they managed to do it. The sticks were served in a box with a logo wrapper, and the ink from the wrapper adhered to the dried out cheese. Some sticks did not even have cheese in them. Had to order additional cheese sauce for the cheesesteak sandwich because it was so dry. Go somewhere else, please!

Yelp
Service was extremely fast which was a surprise considering it's in the airport. Clean and lots of seating. The crab fries were delicious as always!! Definitely recommend stopping here to eat and drink!!!

Alynn L.

Yelp
horrible service. 3 girls stand behind the bar looking at their phones as 4 people at the bar sit n wait. then the ignorance of you disturbing their morning chat is ridiculous. the mimosas are all oj with a splash of champagne for 14.00. I know airport pricing is what it is and that's ok but this just sucks due to paying for horrible service and not a full drink.. never again
google avatar

Andrea B.

Yelp
Service here was great. Our waiter was attentive and funny. Compared to other airport restaurants this was descent. Prices were what you'd expect and food was good. Nothing special here and some of it was alittle on the salty side (menu warns you of that in advance). Overall I would come again if I had to but wouldn't make a point to stop here.

Peter T.

Yelp
Understaffed poor service. Do not recommend. Go somewhere where they pay attention to you. Terminal A west
google avatar

Robert M.

Yelp
Service is absolutely horrible here at phl airport. Twice in less than year here to fly out and the bar has zero service. Could this be any more terrible?
google avatar

Charlene T.

Yelp
Me and my girls where starving and we wanted to eat.The place was packed but they only had bar seats available... the manager Dont'e seated us and made us feel like family..steve kept us laughing and we really enjoyed the food and vibes. We from Fort Myers Florida and we will be back for sure

Yelp
Upscale, clean, comfortable, and solid radials food. The beer choice is decent. Consider that you are in an airport. Further consider that the airport is Philadelphia- the worst airport in the country. Now consider that Chickie's and Pete's could be a 4-5 out in a metropolitan area. The steak and cheese is what I opted for and it was very good. Compared to the other cheese steak vendors in Terminal C it's a 10 on a scale of 5. The steak actually tasted like steak, the onions were sweet and not greasy, the cheese was the authentic Phily style. The price point is on par with the rest of the airport options. The quality and price make it my choice for best bang for your buck. Other items on the menu include chicken cutlets, lobster, crab, burgers, sandwiches, mussels and assorted sea food. A second bar is directly across - and about 15 ffrom the main location
google avatar

John L.

Yelp
The hours show they are open until 10pm, and yet at 8:30pm on a Tuesday night, with hundreds of people looking for food and drink, both locations stopped taking customers that were looking for dinner. The only reason this is a 2-star review and not a 1-star is both bartenders were polite, and each location have inviting atmospheres (as in, I wanted to sit down and have a relaxing drink and meal).
google avatar

Veletta M.

Yelp
Waited 20 minutes to sit, 20 minutes to place Oder and 45 minutes to get chicken wings while people negus were seated and received their food before us, terrible service When sitting someone, give menu immediately so when they finally get to Oder can, I ordered fries and never received either.
google avatar

Me P.

Yelp
Nasty place; nasty waitresses and nasty food. Stay away and eat around the corner for more sanitary conditions and sane staff.
google avatar

Geoff S.

Yelp
This place has it all! Dirty & muddy veg, angry hosts, waiters drinking at the bar (*ris) & a mysterious, progressive seating policy that shouts "you do you"! Try the Buffalo chicken cutlets for a sneaky whisper of Buffalo sauce tossed on Tyson minced chicken parts at 4x the cost. Magnifique. 1/10 stars Truly truly and singularly... food.

Crab M.

Yelp
The service was very poor. This is an airport location. The restaurant was not busy. It took 30 min to get an order of fries to go. When i inquired it came right out. The Crab Fries were highly over seasoned. Disappointing as they are usually very good. An order of fries was $10.00
google avatar

Jeff H.

Yelp
Nice little sports bar inside the Philadelphia airport. Lots of TVs to watch a game. Plenty of beer choices. I had the Fiddle Head IPA. Not bad. For food, I had the South Philly Steak and Egg Sandwich. Very tasty. The staff was friendly. The atmosphere was cool. A nice place to kill time while waiting for your flight.
google avatar

Sydney B.

Yelp
I only stopped insert quick shot before I got on my plane .... My server Chris, she was so so, so sweet, checked on me often and had tons of smiles!!!

jake d.

Yelp
Had takeout and the guy behind the counter. I forget his name was super nice and I told him I was in town for my mothers funeral and he wrote me a little note. That's something my mom would of done and it was awesome and really cheered me up! It was his birthday also and he gave me a cupcake as well!
google avatar

Stinky C.

Yelp
What a rip off! The most expensive pint I have ever bought in the most ordinary run of the mill sports bars. Yes airport beers are usually expensive. Not only that the cost of the beer doesn't include the bar staffs wages. Because Chickie's don't pay them much to keep their costs down.

Kathy L.

Yelp
chicken Cesar salad was delicious. Great service even though they were extremely busy!

Lara H.

Yelp
Horrible ambience and even worse service. The bartender took 15 minutes to ask what I wanted then I waited another 10 before I just left, Acted like I was inconveniencing her. Can't take that long at an airport bar!
google avatar

Shelly H.

Yelp
Slowest service ever for an airport restaurant. It's freezing in here and people ordering take out are getting their food before people staying to eat and drink. Nothing on the TVs but basketball, no news, no other sports only basketball! We've been here over an hour and have been given 1 beverage and still do not have our food order.
google avatar

Moksha R.

Yelp
Get the lobster cheesesteak and the crab fries! Totally worth it and reasonably priced.

Kristin S.

Yelp
This review is regarding the restaurant in Terminal A. In typical fashion in Philadelphia in Airport says that all the restaurants and stores at terminal A are supposed to open up at 5:15 AM. At 5:30 AM most of them are not open. Including Chickies two locations near each other. So this review is not a reflection of their food or anything else because we have yet to be able to get in there. Instead it's a reflection of miss information on the Internet versus true life. And who gets confused - the travelers. Somebody should really either make the employees accountable to show up when they're supposed to be open or change your website information.
google avatar

Annie L.

Yelp
I ordered a to-go order of wings which were good and quick! There are several locations at the Philadelphia international airport and the one I went to was the one at Terminal C.
google avatar

Bob S.

Yelp
Impossible to get served. Sat at the bar, and gentlemen sat next to me 60 seconds later. But for the next ten minutes we watched the bartender walk back and forth. Checking her phone. Moving plastic cups around. Doing everything she could not to do her job. The bar had several people at it and three patrons had completely empty glasses in front of them. I and another guy said "Excuse me", but she walked on by. Finally one guy said, "Hey! Molsen!" And to that she reacted. She got him a bottle and then, while handing him the beer and staring at two new people at her bar, and three empty glasses.... walked away. I just left and walked 50 ft to a Japanese restaurant with good beer who, imagine this, served me when I sat down. Chickie & Pete's is already known for mediocre food by Philadelphias. Most locals tend to skip it since there's so many better options in the city. But at Terminal C you'd think they'd staff better than having someone who doesn't want to work or get paid.

Don F.

Yelp
Underwhelming experience; $26 for a no-meat cheesesteak, fries and a beer. I won't be back. On the positive side, the service was fast - probably at the same speed as a McDonalds. Negatives? As a first-timer, I tried to get some guidance from the server on the food. So I ordered (her recommendation) - a classic cheesesteak and crab fries. They split servers from food delivery, which is a good way to go to keep the food hot. Fries came first, but the guy had no clue who'd ordered it and after making the rounds yelling out, 'Who ordered fries?' He finally found me. Ton of fries - enough for probably three people - with two tubs of cheese. I wish the server would have let me know it was that big. Fries were hot with random sprinkling of Old Bay; the cheese sauce was meh. The classic came out next and he slid the basket to me, that didn't quite make it, so I had to reach to get it. I expect to be overcharged in airports, but there was barely any meat in it - 1/2 onions, 1/2 meat that combined, reached about 1/4 up from the bottom of the sub roll. - and it was $12. It was a bread sandwich. I left about 2/3 of the bread in the basket and when the server came to ask how it was, I said, " Not that great". Her response, "That's nice."
