Amazing food and top-tier service at Chickie’s & Pete’s! Had an awesome experience here. From the moment we sat down, the customer service was outstanding, everyone was genuinely friendly, welcoming, and attentive without being overbearing. You can tell the staff actually enjoys being there, which makes a huge difference. The food absolutely hit the spot too. Everything came out hot, fresh, and packed with flavor, perfect bar style comfort food done right. Portions were generous, and the overall vibe was fun and relaxed, making it a great place to hang out, eat well, and enjoy yourself. BEST RESTAURANT I HAVE EVER BEEN TO IN AN AIRPORT!!!!

Quite impressed with this place! Reasons to give it a 5* first - then the reason I knocked a star off. Service was great, the server was lovely, and brings you a large glass of ice water before you've ordered which is a nice touch. I had a breakfast sandwich with the steak, eggs, and cheese sauce. This really was 5/5. The pics don't do it justice as the sauce doesn't look appetizing - but it is! We ordered a side of their fries - big enough for 2. It's a large portion. I liked the seasoning a lot. But think there may be too much salt on them. But they were really good! My partner had the chicken cheesesteak. It was nice, but the chicken was quite dry With the chicken sarnie being a bit dry, and the fries having too much salt on them. It's a 4 from me Good portion size as well though - if you want to be full up, eat here!

Family friend said I had to go here while on a layover in Philly. I’m not usually a fan of Philly cheese steak sandwiches, but had to try it here since I was in Philly. Overall I didn’t care for it, but I think it’s more just because I’m not into these sandwiches. The fries are famous, so I had to try those too. However, they are far too salty for my taste. I ended up eating about 15% of this and I’m stuffed. So definitely a meal to split with a group if you’re traveling with others. The service was great.

Chickie’s & Pete’s – Philadelphia Airport October 29, 2025 What’s a trip to Philly without a cheesesteak? Like flying to Paris and skipping the Eiffel Tower — it just isn’t done. So naturally, I made my way to Chickie’s & Pete’s, the original spot everyone swears by. Chris, my server, greeted me with a grin that could sell sunshine. They buzzed behind the counter with that practiced rhythm — quick, cheerful, and just chaotic enough to prove you’re in a real Philly joint. Ask for something and bam! — it materializes before you even finish your sentence. They recommended “The Classic” Philly Cheesesteak, loaded with mushrooms and onions. When it hit the table, it was love at first sizzle. The sandwich was piping hot, cheese gloriously gooey and stretching like it had something to prove. Suddenly, the mountain of napkins they brought made perfect sense — this was not a polite sandwich; this was a roll-up-your-sleeves-and-dive-in situation. The first bite was pure comfort: juicy, tender beef seasoned just right, with a whisper of garlic that lingered like a good secret. The onions had character — cooked just long enough to bring out flavor and attitude, but not so long they turned soft or brown. Even the bun held its ground, soft yet sturdy enough to carry the load like a true Philly hero. To wash it all down, I tried their Donut Hard Cider from Ship Bottom Brewery in Swarthmore, PA (5.5% ABV). It’s basically fall in a glass — crisp apples, a swirl of cinnamon, a touch of sugar, and just enough cardamom to make you want to wear flannel. The finish was warm, sweet, and cozy, like dessert disguised as a drink. The sounds of sizzling beef, clinking glasses, and the faint hum of airport travelers made for the perfect Philly soundtrack. The air smelled of toasted bread and melted cheese — a fragrance that should honestly be bottled and sold at duty-free. By the end, I was full, happy, and maybe a little emotional. This wasn’t just a sandwich — it was a Philly initiation, and I passed with flying colors (and greasy fingers).

For a sports bar, the TV's are quite small, but that's the extent of my negative feedback. The staff was super friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and nice. I got the steak and egg cheesesteak, sweet crabby fries, and a mimosa. The food came out hot, fast and was exceptional for 'bar' food. The sweet potato fries had a nice all purpose seasoning on them and the maple syrup was a perfect dipping sauce for my brunch meal. The cheese sauce was also great on the fries, but I mainly used it to add a little extra sauce on my cheesesteak. The bread was soft and fluffy with a nice crust. The cheese sauce was delicious. They were out of cider, so I got a mimosa to stick with a brunch vibe. The mimosa wasn't a highlight, but their go to is beer not brunch drinks. Definitely worth a stop if you need to grab food or drinks at the airport...and if they have other locations, I'd definitely go here again!

Had a quick bite at Chickie’s & Pete’s in the Philadelphia airport and was pretty underwhelmed. The cheese or sauce just didn’t taste right — bland and a bit off. The meat didn’t smell appetizing either, which made the whole meal hard to enjoy. It feels like it could be much better with fresher ingredients and more attention to flavor. Not the worst, but definitely not something I’d look forward to again.

Amazing food, I ordered the Philly cheesesteak with sweet potato crab fries and it was so tasty!! The size it’s ok even if you want to share it between 2 people. Great service by the waiter!

Great food and service. Stopped here while we waited to board our flight. The classic Philly was ok point. The fries are a must! They have a bigger sitting area closer to terminal A23.

In Philly a cheesesteak should be over the top. Even making consideration for being in the airport it was bad. A cheesesteak has thin sliced ribeye, mushrooms, onions, peppers and your choice of mozzarella or cheese whiz served on a grilled bun. This was steak with a few onions and queso sauce on a cold bun. This was not what I wanted, I would have sent it back but I never saw my server again until I asked for him. If you want fries they only have 1 size, huge. They charge you 9 dollars for it. There are a lot of options in this airport. Try something else.

After our flight got delayed we stopped into Chickies and Pete's for dinner. For airport food it was delicious and not too expensive. My only complaint is that most of the menu is fried and or very carb heavy. I wish there were a few more healthy options. I also wish that there was a drink menu for cocktails (maybe there is but I didn't get one) since they have a full bar. But overall this is a decent spot to grab food while you're waiting for your flight.

I got to try the famous crab fries for the first time but they were really overseasoned (I've since had it at another location for comparison). Staff were relatively friendly for an airport location.

Damnn the cheesesteak was fire I think prolly the best one I had and I been to a lot of em since I been in Philly this weekend and I was shocked how good it was service dope and the ambiance was warm. Thank you great spot if your in the airport you better come here and try the Philly cheesesteak to me it's better then anyone out in the city . Add ketchup and mayo

I stopped here while at the Philadelphia airport. You seat yourself and my server came up quickly to greet me and show me the QR code menu. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and fries (non-crab seasoning). The food came out quickly and service was good throughout the visit, but I haven't had food without flavor like this in a very, very long time. It simply was not good and I regret stopping here considering the other options in the area. The chicken in the sandwich was tiny, very thin, and the sandwich only came with greens on it. The fries had zero seasoning, but thankfully came with cheese for dipping. To pay, you close out using the QR code. If you stop here, opt for the fries with seasoning and anything other than the grilled chicken sandwich.

I normally stick with common franchise food in the airport but I wanted a nice juicy burger so I stopped in at Chickie's & Pete's! Received a warm & friendly greeting by the bartender/hostess and was seated immediately. The ambiance was that of a typical bar & grill...nice, clean and somewhat cozy as tables were very close together. So close my neighbor and I had a great conversation as we ate our lunch. The waitress was kind and attentive. Instead of a burger I got the Philly cheesesteak, fries and a Mountain Dew. The food was delicious as it came out extremely quick and pipping out! I highly recommend while at the PHL airport!

For an airport restaurant this one is pretty good! We went for breakfast so not sure about lunch and dinner food but we walked right in and got a seat at the bar. We were handed a menu and the bar tender was friendly. I got a breakfast wrap and my friend got an omelette and the portions were huge we probably could have shared with the prices being not too bad either. My breakfast sandwhich had cheese sauce in it which was really great. Overall I would stop while in the airport!

The chicken cheesesteak and seasoned fries were really good. Watch the Notre Dame football game on TV. It was a great bar atmosphere. The ice cold Yingling was perfect Philly beverage during my short stay at the airport before flying back to Vermont.

A Philly staple. If you didn't get a cheesesteak while passing through Philly, grab one here. Definitely get the world famous crab fries too. Seafood is pretty good too although a bit pricey. I liked that in 2024 I didn't have to scan a barcode to see a menu. Got all of the menus right away. I miss that! I don't know how you could give Chickies at the airport a bad rating. It does get packed but there's take out next door.

Great, friendly service with killer food. We sat at the bar and our bartender let us try a sample of a local beer before we committed to ordering it, which was really nice. She also gave us great menu recommendations. I had the BBQ burger and my husband had the Philly Cheesesteak. Both were awesome. We also split the seasoned fries with cheese sauce. Overall, great bar food.

One thing I miss since I moved out of NJ is Chickie's and Pete's and it just so happened that I was taking a flight out of Philadelphia airport and there was a Chickie's right next to my gate! THE UNIVERSE WAS LOOKING OUT! And while it was breakfast time, they actually had a full menu which included all their signatures plus a fire breakfast menu! I wound up ordering their breakfast sandwich that had Pork Roll, Scrambled Egg and their signature magically delicious Cheese Sauce on a cheesesteak roll! The sandwich was massive and stuffed to the brim and was only $10.44! WHAAAT? When I tell you I was in heaven enjoying that sandwich ... it was so beautiful lol. Oh and I sat at the bar and the bartender was awesome and very engaging which just added to the great experience. Thank you PHL Airport for pleasantly surprising me with this Chickie's .... makes me want to consider flying out of here more :)

Ordered a cobb salad and New England Clam Chowder. What I received was a bowl of lettuce with marginal toppings and NO dressing and NO fork or spoon to eat it. Very unhappy with the order.

If you have the time, give this place a shot! I grabbed a table for 1 before a flight. My server navigated the crowded restaurant with ease and a smile on her face. There is a full service bar. I ordered a vodka and soda, crabbie fries, and the grilled salmon burger. It was all delicious. I really loved the cheese sauce with the fries, and I usually don't like cheese fries at all. I ordered the fries with seasoning--they are salty but I like salt, so if you don't, get it without. I'd come back again.

Ordered the tenders today, no complaints. Only ding would be that the don't offer more than just honey mustard and BBQ sauce. I wish there were a couple more sause options. I'm not giving them a 4 because of a prior visit. I ordered the chicken wings. Not sure in which world chicken wings would cost 21 bucks (unless they're great) but I had no other option so ordered it. It was as I expected, average.

Nice, cozy place in terminal C of Philly Airport. Professional staff, military discount. The beer is a bit pricey but there's a good selection on tap. The Philly cheesesteak nachos with spicy ketchup is a game changer. Highly Recommended!

Always a great time when I eat and/or grab a drink here. The staff is always checking in and friendly conversation. Had the Lobster Cheesesteak, Crabby Fries (cheese sauce) and of course a Yuengling . So good. Yes, you're at an airport, rent is high , so the food cost is a little higher, but they pack flavor into their food and the atmosphere makes it worth it. Definitely stop in and tell them JD sent you. I just love me some cheese fries. I admired phillys take on it, will definitely have to try Philly cheesesteak. Fries were veryyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy seasoned.

This place is always a stop for me when I am arriving or leaving Philly! It is a restaurant in the terminal that is close to my gate that I usually take. I almost always grab a seat at the bar as it is fun to either watch tv, watch people, or just hang out. My food choice is always the classic cheesesteak with pepps and onions. I ALWAYS get the cheese sauce. (I have learned when in Philly, you don't call it a Philly Cheesesteak) I know, it is completely fat free!! HAHAHA And I always get the Crabby fries! The seasoning on the crinkle cut fries is amazing and dipped in the cheese sauce..mmmm! Sooo good! the sandwich is big and filling and the amount of fries you get is awsome! This place to good to come fill up on some good food and enjoy some last minutes of down time before getting stuffed into a plane to where ever you are going! Although you could be one of those people and bring it on the plane with you tormenting the other passengers...just sayin!

We had the Philly cheese steak nachos and they were delicious! We loved the fact we could get their famous Philly cheesesteak on something other than bread. A little on the salty side but we knew that from the onset as it was clearly stated in the menu. Our server was a little short initially but very prompt and did an excellent job of making sure we got everything we needed! He then warmed up and we even shared stories of our families and locations that we were both familiar with. We enjoyed our food and service. The place is busy and somewhat loud but that's to be expected as they are located in a busy airport. We would visit again.

I had some time to kill while at PHL, so I decided to visit a couple of spots to have a couple of beers. The space was fairly narrow with a long bar that spanned the length of the space. Fairly nice for an airport bar! I ordered the "Famous Crab Fries", which appeared to just be crinkle cut fries with Old Bay seasoning on them. They seemed to be prepared well, fairly crispy and not overly seasoned/salty. While the items were pricey, it was a generous serving. They have about 12-15 beers on tap, though it is a fairly uninspired list, mainly IPA's and commodity American Lagers (Bud, Miller, Coors...). I had the Yards Philadelphia Pale Ale which was quite nice. The bartender was pretty busy, but still provided timely service and was friendly. Overall, a nice spot for a beer and a bite if you find yourself in Concourse C at PHL.

They've completely remodeled since I was here last and it seems to have been done very well. I ordered the South Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich and fries. The sandwich looked great, but was only ok. The roasted red peppers tasted like they were steamed in a microwave, not even close to being roasted. The bread tasted good, but was tough to bite through and chew. The side of fries came out first and we're great, especially with the cheese sauce, but they came out before my sandwich so I was already pretty full when the sandwich arrived. I'd still recommend eating here as the food overall is ok. My server seemed like she was in it by herself, but she was still plenty attentive and didn't miss a beat with me.

I would like to say coming from California and getting the love I got from Chris and jaquil was outstanding the service fast the food delicious and giving me recommendations to eat out in the city to say, thank you for such great hospitality, y'all showed us we will definitely be back

Was leaving Philly and stopped by Chickie's and Pete's for a cold beer and some lunch. The Staff were friendly and I had to order the cheese steak. It came out hot and tasted great. You can't go wrong here for some quick airport food. Enjoy!!!!

Food was okay to not okay-, service was good- cleanliness was atrocious - we had a booth by the window and it looks like the window area has never, and I mean never ever been cleaned- hand smears on the window and dust bunnies, old food and trash everyone - really disgusting and unappetizing. Sad they are allowed to sponsor the Eagles- I'm 0-2 at this place and am not going back again.....

Sooooo good. Eat it while it's hot. You won't be disappointed with the fluffy and chewy bread. Yum yum yum.

A taste of Philly! Love chickie's & Pete's! So glad that they had one in our terminal. It was very busy but our waitress was attentive and pleasant. They have a nice selection of local beers on tap and a longer list in cans. The star of any trip to chickie's is of course their crab fries with cheese sauce! Yummy! We each had a cheesesteak and they even made my father in law a special gluten free version (basically without bread but with extra lettuce tomato and onion). Did you know the crab fries are gluten free?!

I enjoyed the ice cold beer at Chickie & Pete's while waiting for a delayed flight recently. The atmosphere was lively so it was a great distraction from the airport. I did not want a full meal but ordered the reuben eggrolls. They were tasty with the mustard dipping sauce. Definitely a portion that needs to be shared with others. They are not a light snack. Perhaps a little on the greasy side, but a perfect pairing with a Blue Moon. My service was fast and friendly and I would stop in again when in this location. Next time I'll get the actual sandwich.

Typical chickie and Pete's. Food is fine for the weary traveler. They have liquor for those that need to take the edge off before a flight. Breakfast sandwich was good and huge. Service was good as well. Place is small so when crowded it is probably a scene.

I honestly wish I had walked around the corner. Service was adequate. Coffee was HORRIBLE. Bitter. Burnt beans. No amount of cream, low quality, or sugar, also low quality, could salvage it. And seriously, $2.50 a cup? I know it's the airport & inflation, but, that was vile. The full menu is available. I ordered the BBQ burger & was also tremendously disappointed. Lackluster. Flavorless. Cooked within an inch of its life. Sauce was slopped on w/o a care for presentation. Onions, not fully cooked. Didn't even touch the pickles. 2 for 2 & not in a good way. Very disappointing.

Stop here for dinner on our layover. We were hungry, tired, and ready to go! Not the best mix. Initially let down because the beer they had on tap- that I wanted- wasn't working. It's ok though- my pivot game is strong. I ordered one of the many bottles they offered. Instead of their cheesesteak, I ordered wings and fries. Wings were standard, fries were huge and HEAVILY seasoned. Like...to the point- I wasn't sure if I liked or hated them. My sister ended up eating the majority of them with her cheesesteak. Overall- this was regular airport fare. Nothing to rave about

Terminal A. Need to get ahead of whatever will get served on a loooong flight. Certainly not the first time. Certainly won't be the last time. As always, approach with caution. It's LOUD. As expected, there are always people heading for a fun trip and getting their happy on. Cheers. No reason to take away a star. The gentleman who seems to greet you, double as a part-time bartender, and whatever else, must have been a bouncer in a rough bar, while also working as a correctional officer (or inmate, no judging) at the state pen. To say he's rough is an understatement. Not sure he gets the concept of patrons coming to spend money here. Service at the bar is reasonably efficient. The bartender was quite good. Her service earns one star. The food is exactly as you expect. Fries are beyond salty and that's good for the beer businesses. The tenders were anything but tender. To sum it up. One star for being located in Terminal A. Another for the bartender. Will I be back? Yes, of course. Still better than anything served on a plane.

After visiting for the third time in the last 12 months, it's time to write a review. There are no real alternatives in the area, so dropped in to kill time. Can't wait to board and put this place behind us. Food is so la la and service is non existent. The ambiance is, however, quite nice.

Horrible nasty server. I asked to order a drink. She sends me to the bar. I go to the bar she tells me to have a seat there is table service. Then I get ignored. No joke. The bartender looks up and notices me says she'll be over in a minute send somebody over, and the woman turned around and walked away. I asked her why she was ignoring me and she gave me some kind of lip. "I ain't ignoring you lady!" Stop treating people that way. You suck! You really do!

This used to be one of the best Philly cheesesteaks places at PHL airport and even in Las Vegas. That was a few years ago. Today was such a disappointment (after craving C&P's cheesesteaks for so long), I happened to be in PHL and waited about 50 minutes for my food, they left out a few things and the food was disgusting). The meat tasted like it was processed, packaged meat. From the looks of this picture, you can see how unappetizing it was. The fries were cold as they were sitting out there while I waited for my sandwich. Back then, when the food was so good, it was worth the 16.79 for their sandwich. If I wasn't so hungry, I would have thrown this away after a couple of bites. I ended up eating about 5 bites before I tossed it. Not worth 30.00 for fried a sandwich and a drink just. Currently, I do not recommend this awful food. I don't know what happened with this company, but they have the slowest service (there were not many customers so that couldn't have been the reason),

In fairness, they warn you on the menu about the saltiness of the food. But even with that warning, I still think the food was just too salty.

Finding a place that offers gluten free options in the airport is almost impossible. It's the hardest place to find good food when you have celiac. Thankfully Philadelphia has a gem called Chickie's & Pete's. All their french fries are fried in a separate fryer and they can accommodate almost every burger and sandwich. It was great to have an actual meal before getting on an international flight. And I did not get sick!

I ate a revolting chicken caesar salad here on a layover today. I asked about the salad, and if the chicken you could add to it was hot or not, and the waitress said "Yes, it's grilled chicken." Well, maybe this had some faux pan marks sprayed on at some point in its post-life, but then it was probably microwaved before it appeared before me. It took an extremely long time (20-25 minutes?) to come out of the kitchen, and when it arrived I could barely eat it. The chicken tasted gamey and the texture was dry and gristly. $18 later, I ate the romaine and the croutons with the flimsy plasticware and caught my flight. I never got the water I had asked for, which I really could have used to rinse out my mouth, but I decided just to pay and leave. My waitress was very pleasant in apologizing for the long delay. Luckily, a Founders All Day IPA hit the spot. However, I'll never ever eat here again.

They need dessert. So packed and loud and mostly all fried frood. Bar scene always happening if you're into that. Wings should come in a smaller size.

To set the expectation here let first say I grew up and lived within a couple blocks of the original Chickies, and it was always a great experience. This was not my first time at the airport one, but traveling with a group of 5 sets a different expectation. A couple things just didn't hit the mark. My son took one bite of his cheesesteak and said no thanks. His sprite was more of a seltzer with very little syrup. I tasted it myself. The service was average at best as there seemed to be only 1 server for the whole restaurant, so not a knock on the server. My daughters mussels literally took 1 hour to come out. Now if this place was busy I'd almost understand, but the place was dead. Overall, bad experience. Timeliness at the airport should be better. I'd only recommend stopping for crabbie fries and a beer if you have a flight to catch.

Wow. Hands down the most impersonal low class worst service I have ever seen. After waiting at the bar 15+ minutes without a bartender in sight, When I ordered my drink she told me to "wait". Multitasking is part of your job. Smile, greet people. Acknowledge their presence at your bar even if you can't get to them right away. This is how you make money. You are certainly not doing it with your awful presentation of street life in the bar. I ordered one drink. If you can't get that in your queue then you should not be tending bar. Absolute trash panda. She then proceeded to cusss me out and tell me I had attitude. The only person that did any cursing was you simple one. I just demand better and so should we all. I would give a negative rating if possible. This was the worst experience of attempted "service" I've ever witnessed and I have been working in the food industry for 25 years. Do better.

Service 4 stars Food Field green salad with Salmon. 4 stars Salad was quite plentiful and filled with walnuts and craisons... the Salmon was a nice piece the size of my hand.. and grilled.. came hot to the table. Crab cake sandwich 3.5 stars... burger style crab cake was very thick and came nice and hot as well Combo Fries... 4.5 stars ... I think this is a must order IF you like fries... came fresh and hot! And a large basket that we couldn't finish!!!!! The sauces to me were okay... but I am a ketchup and salt on fries eater. If you are at the Philadelphia airport... terminal C ... This is a good stop for a meal before a long flight!!!

Loved this location right next to our gate at the airport! Great brew selection. We ordered the sweet potato fries and split an original Philly sandwich. The bread was so soft, the meat tender. Everything was fresh and flavorful. Good service too.

Oh hell no. A typical bar looking place in the American Airlines terminal at the Philadelphia Airport, Terminal C. I didn't like the breakfast options, all breakfast sandwiches. So, before I turned around, I saw Lobster Roll for $18.99 on the menu. It was only 630am, but what the heck. There were many issues: ==================== * No melted butter, it was a lobster salad. Okay, that's a style, but I like it second best. * The Lobster salad was made with cheap salad dressing, not mayo. * The lobster salad had chopped onion, and a lot of it. Huh? * The lobster texture not good, tough, and was from frozen. * The lobster was chilled. * No fries. Pffffttt. * The roll was impossible to pick up -- too much sauce and basically, an open faced sandwich. * In the end, totally not what I had in mind. The waitress/bartender never came by my area after she delivered the sandwich, and before I finished it. Why? Was she afraid if she asks "Is everything okay", she would get an answer she only expected? I asked for the bill, and saw the lobster roll was on the receipt for $26.25. Huh? I asked to see the menu again, pointed to the $18.99 item, and was told she didn't give me that one, it was in another section. Terrible sandwich, terrible price that put me over my breakfast expense limit. I don't give 1.0 star reviews too often (only 22 out of 2870 reviews), but this one is totally deserving.

All you folks complaining must have either REALLY high standards for airport service, or have never visited LaGuardia... there is literally .5" room to walk, a grand total of 2 bathrooms, it smells like cheese that's been left in a hot frying pan for 4 hours on high, and the only thing you can get to eat is a stale day-old bagel with no cream cheese. We visited the Chickie & Pete's bar at the far end of the terminal, not the main restaurant which was way too overly crowded. We sat right at the bar and were immediately greeted by a very friendly bartender who took our orders, made drinks immediately, and was quite pleasant to deal with the whole time we were there. As far as the food, we got the #Crabfries (b/c of course), an order of cheesesticks (pass on these... meh), and some boneless buffalo wings. For starters, if you go to a C&P's and don't get Crabfries... shame on you. Seriously. You and LaGuardia deserve each other. The boneless buffalo wings were SUPERB. They were excellently fried, perfectly juicy, and large nuggets of all white-meat chicken, a little crispy, and doused in the perfect amount of buffalo sauce. Excellently spicy, and great little bites. The portions on everything were GINORMOUS. And the prices? How can you go wrong with 37 lbs of potatoes for $6 and 1,162 chicken wings for $10 AT AN AIRPORT..... I repeat, the portions are huge, the flavors are perfection, and the prices are killer. And I would say this about any restaurant anywhere, but I'm saying it about a restaurant AT AN AIRPORT. Get over yourselves, quit your complaining, board your flight, and cross your fingers Delta doesn't lose your bags. Because quite honestly, you'd deserve it. Quit ordering Philly Cheesesteaks and seafood from an airport and just get normal barfood you idgits. Great job Chickie & Pete's!

The atmosphere is crowded like sardines in a can, shoulder to shoulder at the bar, zero personal space. One bartended came up and said she would get me in just a sec, 5mins later and another one comes up, I'm forced to flag her down for a drink. I ordered the Philly cheese and mozzarella sticks and a single beer. Had to tell the bartender a few times because she didn't write anything down and forgot what I ordered. Food comes out all at once, app and main. My totally was $50. I had to tell the bar tended one more time what I ordered so she could ring me up. The beer alone was $13. In a plastic cup. When I asked the bartender if this is correct, she told me yes, it's a 22oz, that cup might hold one can, it is not 22oz., but her attitude was snarky about it. So I filled out my receipt giving no tip and she made another snarky comment "thanks for the tip". There isn't one lady, your service is trash, and you're charging folk eye gouging prices. I would not have ordered a beer if I known it would be $13. This isn't a friendly place, it's not fun or cozy. It feels sad in there. Will not be back. As for the food, mozzarella sticks were alright at best and the Philly cheese, I'm pretty sure actually Philadelphias would be upset at how this sandwich was prepared, presented, and tasted. It's gross, didn't even finish it and I clean my plates. Would not recommend.
