Awesome experience, Mark❤️, David💚and Ray💙 are very sociable with there patrons, and friendly. Everyone there is all having a good time. X Fridays is alot of fun., The drag shows are super lit, and the gogo dancers are super hot. Drinks are strong sheesh the bartenders are heavy handed lol. Great experience. Music is great. A suggestion have a hip hop and r&b night.

I came at 10pm on May 4th (Sunday), and Google Maps showed that the store was open as usual, but it was closed and there was no one there!

They should let people know it's only card on their post. The drinks are kind of weak, and the dancers are just walking around

We went for New years bc it was 6min away from home. It was sooo much fun!!!! They had free party hats and food!!! They had shows and performers! They had a few spanish rock throwbacks from caifanes to paulina rubio. Everyone was very friendly with no drama. Performers were outgoing and awesome to take pictures with. Everyone was having so much fun! Best night ever!!

First time there, was really fun, the DJ was Pumping nothing but pure hits remixed with great style of Latin House, the bartenders were really nice and wen they found out we were visiting from like 300 miles away for a Monica Naranjo concert that got cancelled they played a few songs from her for me and my friends that was AMAZING. Definitely worth visiting such a great place and the drinks were DELICIOUS and made to get all happy… over all we had soooo much fun

I’ve been a few times and I’ve always had a great time! The atmosphere is amazing and the drinks are strong! IYKYK! The Hosts that are there Friday nights Ray, Mark, and David are wonderful they are always on the dance floor or walking around thanking people for coming out. On Fridays at midnight there is a Drag Performance usually there are 2 performers so make sure you bring cash. If you need change usually David or Security has change. Other than that the bar is cashless. I also like the fact that there’s someone walking around picking up empty cups or trash. If you’re looking for a great time come to Chico!

We partayed at Lit for their 2024 All White Party. The location was decent(built on golf resort), the size was extra large. Upstairs and downstairs dance floor and multiple bars. Plenty of bathrooms and plenty of parking. The decor was above average and the seating was on point. The bartender upstairs knew what she was doing g on those Cosmos!!! This place could hold over 2,500 people not including the patio!

I love this bar but the security always makes it a Horrible experience he's always harassing me and my friends, honestly I don't think I will be returning. They need to either fire him or talk to him because even MULTIPLE people have told me they experienced the same thing with this same security guy.

The first time I was here was on a Wednesday. Ray was the bartender. He is so friendly and welcoming! An absolute sweetheart. Love the vibe, great music too!! I've recommended this spot to friends and they really like it too!! Check it out sometime!

For a while we were consistently going to Cachondo (Latin leather nights) on Thursday nights, but it has seemed to have stopped in January 2023. It was good mix of people, both women and men. I had never been to Chico's before the pandemic, but I've been told that it was a lot smaller. Knowing the layout and space now, I think this is a great space, with ample seating and ample room for dancing too. There is a two sided bar. I'd say that prices for drinks are a little on the West Hollywood club price range. This space has a limited parking lot, but it's right next door to a neighborhood so parking never really seems to be an issue. Just be sure to read the street signs if you're going to park on the street.

The name Chico is descriptive in being a small dive bar at an obscure small, dimly lit strip mall. Wednesday night at 11pm, a door man asks for $5 entry & hands you a token for a drink at the bar inside. Fair enough trade. Bar stocks hard liquor as well as beer. Inside is a down home neighborhood bar with dance floor which caters to a mainly Latino/Hispanic crowd. At the time I was there, there was an amiable, machismo atmosphere and no feeling of being treated as an outsider from the neighborhood. A gogo dancer in a strap bikini performed for our entertainment, and one of the bartenders shook my hand to welcome me. Nice small town feel and none of the typical hype & oneupsmanship found in West Hollywood. In this age of the Internet, which is forcing many bars to disappear and so many people choose to "meet on lIne" and boast about having 5,000 "friends" when in reality 99% of these "friends" are at most remote acquaintances, CHICO provides LGBT's a wonderful opportunity to meet in real time to create connections & most importantly community. Bravo! 4- Yelp stars.

This was my first time going to this club/bar. My friend didn't wanna dive all the way downtown so we decided to check this place out. It's super cute, a bit small, but cute. I love the lights and music. I asked the DJ to play a song for me and he immediately did it and with video. It made me really happy. I was so surprised that the drinks were very affordable. I got one and one for my friend for $15. The bartender was so nice and attentive. They also have dragshowz and dancers and they all did a wonderful job. Of course I always tip. You definitely should check it out. I had a blast. It's free cover before 10.

Fun gay bar in an unassuming area. Love that the place isn't pretentious, the bartenders are super friendly, they offer a great happy hour until 11PM and there's drag queens at various given times during the week. The performances are later on after the midnight hour, so if you're old like us, keep that in mind so you know what you're getting yourself into! One thing to note, people don't really start showing up here until 11/1130PM. We got here a little before 10pm and it was pretty dead... good for us, because we were able to commandeer one of the only precious booth spaces. If you do want that area, you do have to make a reservation in advance, and we were moved out once the paying parties arrived - totally understandable. Music was a mix of old hip hop goodies and some contemporary pop. Even though it was getting packed, it didn't feel claustrophobic and the bouncers were cool with you stepping out front to get some air if you needed it. There's a small lot onsite, but there's plenty of street parking in the area, just watch the signs before leaving your car! Will def be back.

This is hands down, one of my top favorite nightclubs. Though small, it's filled with great music, friendly people wanting to have a good time, some of the best go go dancers I've ever seen, and bartenders that remember your name and treat you like family. Love this place! Been coming here off and on for about six years now. Rather come here than going to WeHo where you can't even dance and overpay for drinks. Come to Chico and dance in a well ventilated place with a cold one in hand.

I really want to love my neighborhood gay bar, but you make it impossible. . Why do you refuse to play good dance music? "Waiting for the crowd to come in, it's a late crowd." So what?! It's 11pm. Why do I have to wait for after the 12 midnight drag show to dance?! It's the first Saturday of Pride month, just make it fun!!!

Decided to tip toe out the hotel tonight and quench my parched throat. This place here is very friendly. The bar staff are welcoming. The patrons are open and easy to talk to. The Dj keeps the beats going thru the night. The dancers will make you wish u could take them home. This is a dive bar so expect a smaller crowd and dance floor. BTW this is a gay bar and very str8 friendly.

My friend wanted to chill and relax. Staff were super nice and friendly. Guess what? They have Karaoke on Wednesday nights. Nice! The drinks vary, but Javier and Scott will take care of you. Jorge also makes good drinks! One vip booth and a small stage. Free parking and they accept debit cards. Friendly and safe venue. Don't forget to tip kindly!

The drinks are overpriced for the quality of drink and quality of service. If you prefer to be overcharged and under serviced this is the place for you. If they would match the price of the drinks for ambience and entertainment they'd provide I would give them a higher rating. #NotWothIt #GoToWeho

Random spot in the middle of no where but definitely have good looking staff. It smells odd and reminds me of a tj bar but it's a good time

This place is interesting. Came here on a random saturday night as suggested by a friend. Drinks are cheap and the entertainment is great! It's located in a random strip mall with limited parking. Small local spot.

Best night I had in a while. I will say this: watch your tab. And make sure you count your money. Either some of the bartenders can't count money, or they try to get your money thinking your giving them a big tip. My friend was waiting for his change and it took forever. Besides that, Chico is a hidden gem. You will not know its cool, until you go inside. Outside it looks like a random wall you pass by as you go along your night, but its NOT! They have great go-go dancers. I also want to emphasize that this is a men's gay bar. However, it is a great place for lesbians to go visit. I say this because it's the nearest queer space that I have come across near EAST LA/Boyle Heights/Montebello area. Which is a great alternative to WeHo. The atmosphere was queer, gay, fun, and latino. Which is great. We need our own QPOC spaces. I can only wish for the owner to include more nights for lesbians/bisexual women. Do not get a VIP table, since it is a very very small location. I had an amazing night. The music is all all top 40 hits. I will be keeping an eye out if they're certain 80's music nights. But this was a great place to go to for the first time. I danced the whole night with a cutie. In terms of dress code, dress how you want to, and have fun. Go with your friends on a Wednesday night.

A small local place that is fun and always plays great music. Their drink prices are good. They also have great drag shows with 2-3 performers. Lastly, they have some talented gogo dancers if you want some eye candy. This is a great option if you want to support local businesses and don't want to make the trip to weho! I recommend it.

Love this little hole in the wall dive bar. I have been coming here over a decade. It's great place for a quick drink or if you are in the mood to shake your tail feathers a little. The bartenders are heavy handed with the mixed cocktails and very friendly. It's a great place to start your bar hopping nightlife! I would have gave it 4 stars but they don't have the pill table anymore.

Ordered a couple of micheladas from a cute bartender. Had a really good conversations there! The drinks are pretty cheap and good.

CHECK YOUR TAB!!!!! Not just for this place but any bar or club you go to. I ordered 4 drinks and a shot and they attempted to charge me 60 dollars when it should have came out to 39. The bartender who took my tab was adamant that I ordered additional drinks. Mind you this club is empty a.f to begin with. Next time I come If anything I will pregame before hand or just not leave an open tab. They need to check IDs to make sure they are charging the right person if they can't get it right. I will say the other bartender was helpful and listened and compt us. So disappointed

Chico is a gay bar, a gay latin bar with a few others mixed in. It opens at 8 last time I checked. They have a DJ some nights. On Saturday they charged $3 at the door and $8 for two Mexican beers, take that West Hollywood! We didn't get there until midnight, and it was dead-o. Magically, by one, the postage stamp sized dance floor was packed. What happened? An imperceptible slip from top-40 Power106 to top-40KIIS inspired tunes? The 10 minutes of $2 dirty water shots? The bartenders girlfriends arrived? (Answer: D, all of the above) Still, there couldn't be more that 80 people here on a busy night, and it wasn't that busy, so, say, 25 max dancing, but only for the last hour. The crowd is 65-100 per cent male; ususally a few lesbianas latinas visible. The look is pelon, bald, augmented with a mustache when one becomes capable of growing one which could be 16 or 40, wifebeater or striped polo (who started that striped polo thing?), some white tennis shoes, a few extra pounds. Not a very dressy crowd. No cologne, a sure sign that none of these guys were born in Mexico. One queen arrived in a white fur edged parka out of MTV2 although it was certainly possible to cross the small parking lot in your t shirt, ready to dance. he lovingly placed the parka on the pool table and it wasn't disturbed. Most come with a partner or a couple of friends. I don't think I'd go back on a Saturday. If you're not an Eastside latino and want to check out the scene, most of those folks will be at Arena on Saturday, which holds hundreds, if not 1000. They used to have strippers on Wed., but these may be moving with the Dj to Cobra (new name for the Rawhide in NoHo.) Transport is easy from L.A. (It's closer in time and traffic than WeHo for me): Garfield Ave south off the 60 east. Right on Beverly. You'll see the sign in a strip mall on the left, across from the Big A supermarket "carneceria!" "panaderia!". Parking within 40 yards of the door even on New Year's Eve. (I have had fun here on NYE!) Consider the J & S drive through for your drunk taco needs. On the left, just before you get back to the 60. Its been open 24/7/365 since 1967.

you can never go wrong with this lovely bar! I've been here serval times and I've always has a great time. It's def no WeHo crowds which I love... The music be a little wonky but it's part of the charm of the place. You will definitely walk out feeling the alcohol in ur system, since the bartenders pour heavy.... #enjoy

Just came to this bar this past Saturday. My first visit and I'll definetely be back! Had so much fun with my sister here. They had Tv's playing music videos while the songs played and it was a throwback playlist! 90's ... Service was great, everyone was so friendly. Drinks are decently priced. They had a DJ and a small dance floor (though we pretty much danced everywhere) They also had a male dancer (total eye candy) .. I got to give his booty a spank as well and he didn't mind at all! (Unlike at a certain bar in West Hollywood where I got kicked out for doing so) This is my kind of bar, good loud music, friendly and fun atmosphere. OH! And at one point the bartenders yelled out "FREE BEER" and we scored with a Tecate!

Time to venture out somewhere else. My favorite bartender is also gone from this place. I can't deal. What the he'll is going on with management getting rid of the best people. They must not care about business. I only go to chicos on a week night because of Israel. I guess I have to find new places.

We had such a great time at Chico. My brother came to town for a visit and wanted to go to a gay bar. This place is pretty close so we thought we would check it out on a Tuesday night. The place was empty, but it was Tuesday, and it was nice to basically have the place to ourselves. The bartenders were so nice and funny and made sure we were having a good time. We will definitely be back, cute little place, good drinks, and great service!

So a few friends frequent this place because it's local, nearby and not as far as WeHo for them. So I ventured out from my normal local thing in Hollywood/WeHo, and said I'd drive the 15 minutes to Chico's. Boy what a mistake. It's lame. Really lame. It's small, empty, and uninteresting. Expensive drinks for the area and type of bar. 4 dollar sodas? Really? No one was dancing, no one was interacting. There was really no entertainment except for the ipod playing over the PA. I would never go again, and definitely would not reccommend it to anyone, maybe of course if they were from Phoenix and liked the Camelback Road bars. heh.

went here on a SATURDAY night with some gay friends MUSIC was really good FRIENDLY, Latin crowd DECOR not the cutest had an okay time here, if it wasn't for the music and getting a little tipsy i would give this place two stars

Seriously got the cheapest vodka last night. I only had two drinks from the well and I woke up like shit. I noticed the bartender pour the vodka from what it looked like plastic bottle. Check what they pour on your drinks. It was $8 bucks for literally a cheap drink!

This was my 3rd time going. I try and call and leave messages to see what's going on but nobody responds. Every time I've gone, which has always been Sunday when Monday is a holiday, and the DJ sucks... don't think he knows how to mix. Sunday night I got there at 10 and I was the only one there(I know it was early) I got a bud light for $4.00. Then I got another one at 10:45 and he charged me $5.00. I got another one at 11:20 and I was charged $7.00. He said happy hour ended at 11:00. Ok..then at 11:45 I got another bud and a different bartender charged me $6.00. Happy hour or not $6.00 for a Budweiser is way to expensive for a small club like Chico. The dancers don't really have a platform. The club it promoted on Facebook and there website doesn't say much. The only real plus is that it is a very diverse club, young, old, skinny, heavyset. All are accepted.

I went in for a few beers, I thought the place was cool until i start to notice that there was something peculiar about this place.... and then it hit me, that I had wondered into a gay bar! oh well, it was still fun. Everyone was so nice. My only complain was that I couldnt go take a piss without someone following me in there! #awkward

Love this place... its a chill bar just to kick it. Drinks alwayd strong and a good place to get "white girl wasted" lmao. One of the only gay bars in the Eastside. Ask for Alex he makes bomb ass micheladas.

I try to attend Chico at least twice a week,because the place even though small and quaint it has the best atmosphere! The bartenders are super hot and friendly! The drinks are really good and stiff. I totally recommend this place if you are looking for a cool and chill place to hang and have a good time with good people and music! Must go!

I always have fun when I visit this place! But I think it's more a reflection of the people that I go in with than the place. It's a quintessential gay bar with the a small dance floor and strong drinks but with a Latin flair...actually more than a flair. I have fun, and there's eye candy with the dancers and barkeeps! I recommend this place to visit with friends for a drink and a dance off! Just make sure you enjoy Maná!
