Chico's Pizza

The Chico’s on 6th street is way better in my opinion. They only had 3 options of pizza pepperoni, cheese, and combination and the only thing available was pepperoni 😩 an almost 2 inch crust is too much bread for my liking. The service and the overall atmosphere of this place was absolutely dull. The prices are cheaper but I don’t mind paying for quality.

Go here all the time. Pizza is good but i got the spaghetti and meatballs. Its delicious, reminds me of being at home. Love me some pasta. And it comes with cheese bread on the side. Mmmmmmmmm! Last got some chocolate cake. 😁😁😁YOU SHOULD GO. SO MANY PIZZA PLACES IN THE AREA BUT THIS IS THE ONE FOR SURE!

This place is my go to for whenever I’m in Frisco. Hands down. Yes, the area is full of drug dealers and users. Yes it’s not the best atmosphere for a family. But, the pizza is reasonably priced. The owners are happy to assist. And always of service. Wait time for a slice is about 5-10 min. It’s a large slice, cut in half. One for now and one for later. Under $6. Good luck beating that in the city!

Been coming here for at least 20 years and service here is usually alright but last time I ate here the staff was super racist. Had me and my friend waiting at least 5 minutes while they cleaned up in back but as soon as a white older man came in they flew to the front and asked what he needed without acknowledging us. Then when questioned about it, they denied seeing us when I know for sure I locked eyes with one of them and he even held up his finger to signal to us to wait. Hate that I used to love it and literally ear here twice a week but I won't be coming back. Tired of anti blackness racist ppl serving black people. Like my money worth less. We will see.

Great tasting deep dish type style pepperoni pizza slice. Great serving value for the low price.

I've been going here for 15 years and it just keeps going downhill but tonight they really hit bottom, both in our food and the service. One of our regular orders is the Philly cheesesteak and they always put mustard on it which i don't like so we always ask for no mustard. So my husband walks in and orders the Philly with no mustard. The guy behind the counter says "we only put mayonnaise on them" so he says "ok". He also ordered extra fries. He pays and waits and when the food is ready there is no extra order of fries. When he asks the guy about it of course he doesn't even know what was ordered. After confirming the order and that we paid for the extra order of fries my husband then has to wait for them to cook while our other food gets cold. Then he gets the food home and there is mustard on our Philly. At this point we just want to eat our food so I scrape off the mustard even though it's kind of impossible and eat. Now we get to where I actually get upset at the despicable horrible service. I call to just make sure this guy knows that there is normally mustard on the Philly and to please be sure to note no mustard in the future. This guy has the audacity to say he never was asked for no mustard and never said "we only put mayonnaise on them." He actually tried to argue with me before I just hung up the phone. Do not expect to get what you order here OR get what you ordered at the same time so your food can be eaten while hot OR get any kind of actual customer service. I'll be repeating this story on Facebook, yelp, TikTok, Instagram, reddit and every outlet I know including my friends and community since I live half a block away. I have never had to put such a horrible review up but this was so rude and disrespectful with no concern for the customer to the extreme.

SOO GOOD. The area itself was sketchy especially at night since I went after the Giants game but wow. The slices are huge and super cheesy. The packets of cheese and pepper flakes is definitely a game changer. YUMM

So once again my bf calls and places order he says cash we arrive to pick up food he says he doesn't take EBt we never said EBT so we're confused why he continually does this when we pay cash . We understand you pay cash when u call and place an order Instead of apologizing he yells at me tells me he's busy and wait . Keep in mind I'm on my lunch break . So I'm talking to my bf he jumps in my conversation he's talking shit to me and then he fets mad I record so he calls police and tries to make it seem like I'm trying to attack him and get to him when my food is done and waiting I'm steady asking can he give me my food instead he's on the phone calling police lying I have a recorded video I hope the owner reaches out bc any time I ask for owner or supervisor information he won't give it . This guy has horrible service I spend a lot of money here as I come here often . Assuming I'm using Ebt is crazy especially when I say over and over I'm paying cash.

I found this spot in the Tenderloin last week and ordered a burger, fries and Drink Combo using their preferred online phone app. If you are deciding between Dominos or a local shop, 100% go to this shop. The burger combo was good, fries were thick and good. The food was ready in 20 min and the guys who worked there were super nice! This shop is on the edge of the tenderloin but don't let that keep you away because it's not deep enough into the neighborhood to be a big deal. The place is clean and easy to get to. My only complaint was that I couldn't order a slice on the app and it had an order minimum even for pickup. I hope they change that order min for pickup and add more to the menus on the app.

Ordered a takeout meatlovers personal pizza. The flavors of the meat, cheese, extra pesto, and black olives was very good. I asked for crispy, and the top was crispy, but the dough was a little thicker than I like and so the crust was not crispy (although that could also be a regional difference.) Overall a good pizza and I would order them again.

Got a no frills slice of cheese pizza. Chicos is on one nasty street in the TL(Ellis). The TL has some pizza joints like Milan Pizza, but here's to pizza for good.

The main perk of Chico's Pizza is that it remains open unusually late. They close at 3am, so its popular with the after-bar crowd. Chico's sits in one of the most dicey areas of the Tenderloin. Its a small store front that remains open to the people loitering out front. Keep your wits about you when patronizing this place. The service is poor. On my last visit they didn't have one item needed to make my order, but didn't tell me until I had paid and waited for it to come up. The do serve pizza by the slice, but it is reheated and only moderately fresh. If their patronage was higher, they might have a large volume of pizza coming through for slices and the pizza slices would be fresher. If you ask for toppings on a slice that they don't have ready made, they add the toppings to a slice of cheese, then add some more cheese on top before reheating. The cost ranges from $3-$6 for a slice.

There are a bunch of pizza shops on 6th Street, so I didn't know which one to go to so I asked some of the locals and they all told me go to Chico's. I was not disappointed the pizza was fresh, reasonably priced, and served to me within 30 seconds of my order being completed. The staff was very nice and they had the game on if you want to watch something while you eat. They even let me park my bike inside even though space was limited which I truly appreciated. Don't be lazy and settle for the pizza shops closer to Market Street, go down a block or two more and you will not be disappointed, Chico's Pizza.

If you want the best pizza in the city, go to Chicos pizza! I been to this location several times but also get it delivered. I tried everything on the menu and it does not disappoint. It's definitely our go to spot and if you ask any locals in the area they will tell you to go to Chicos. The people that work there are pretty cool too. They also stay open late so great for deliveries!

Listen don't let the outside fool you!! This was the best I mean the best Lasagna I have had!! It was fresh and hot!! This place is so d*$n good!! A must go to if your in your hotel late night!!

Chico's represents themselves on Postmates as "Gourmet Buffalo Wings" Their wings are represented prepared as "double fry", which means that they are fried twice to form a crispy outer shell. Instead I got soggy wings. They represented "Mexican" Fanta. Mexican sodas are supposed to have pure cane sugar and come in a bottle, I got a can of high fructose corn syrup.

Love their food! junk food rocks. The area is a bit sketch but I've been coming here for years now and the food is always good. Getting the spaghetti and meatballs extra meatballs!

Saw the advertisement: 10 wings for $9.99. Called in the order, went to pick it up, was told that was the old price. New price? Almost $13.00. Pretty average for 10 wings, but if you have a price listed outside, then honor it. No attempt to even try to keep a customer. Shame. We are new to the area and checking out the local joints. Maybe a second chance will be given in the future, but for now, we won't be heading back.

Ordered from here through Postmates. It's hard to mess up pizza but I'm sad to say this pizza was kinda bad. Disappointing because the pics on Postmates looked great! I ordered a veggie pizza and I guess their pizzas don't come with tomato sauce. It made it taste super bland. It's weird because shouldn't all veggie pizza come with tomato sauce on it? Anyways, keep scrolling if you come across this. Unless you like pizza with no sauce.

Only issue was they forgot 2 of my 4 drinks and gave me chocolate mousse pie instead of NY cheesecake but the pie was rich and so good I forgive them! I'll say this, this place makes the best spinach salads ever! I added chicken and substituted Italian dressing for Bleu cheese and the portion of excellent quality perfectly bite sized grilled chicken was impressive to say the least. If your into pizza I'd recommend the pesto special. I'm ordering again tonight!

Pregnancy leaving me with pizza cravings! I found Chico's Pizza, this place was somewhat out of the way for me (I had a pizza place next to my hotel but they had terrible reviews) but I endured the walk. I called ahead and waited about 5 mins for my pizza to be done. It came out absolutely amazing! I personally love thick crust pizza that's not crispy and this was exactly that. I was definitely not disappointed and would return.

Good pizza, they messed up my order but aside from that I would have really enjoyed it. They also delivered it after I made a mistake in ordering at the wrong location, so very helpful.

This place...ugh. I live a few blocks up from this location and I've tried to support them since I found them a few years ago. After a recent experience with what I can honestly say was the worst pizza I've ever had in my life, I don't think I can anymore. The good: Calzones are ok. I love calzones, I've never had a bad calzone here. Not the best, but not bad. This definitely isn't North beach, but it's decent. Onion rings are good. French fries are sometimes good. Usually soggy or otherwise not good. The bad: Pizza is very inconsistent and usually not good (see below) The sandwiches suck. They recently jacked all their prices up so the sandwiches are even more of a ripoff than they were before. Don't order the "big daddy" expecting something that is actually...you know, big. The roast beef is a pathetic thin sliver of crappy "beef" and the philly cheese steak is dogshit on a (stale) roll. The chicken pesto and chicken marinara are OK. French fries: see warning above. Pasta: I ordered lasagne once. Barf. It wasn't lasagne. It was overcooked lasagne noodles tossed with crap sauce. Absolutely terrible. I love lasagne and the two or three bites I took of this garbage made me violently angry. I'd have given it to my dog except I don't hate my dog. Straight in the trash. THE MOST RECENT DINING EXPERIENCE: Last Friday I was in the mood for pizza and decided to give them a chance because not every dining experience here was horrible. Ordered their all meat pizza ("California") with a side of fries. Pickup. I've heard enough about how bad the delivery is that I'll brave a walk down there instead. Oh my god was it awful. Terrible. Let's start with the fries: soggy with a very "off" taste, like what I'd expect fries might taste like if they sat in an open bag on the counter (or in the freezer) for a week or so before being cooked. I had never had such awful french fries, not crispy at all. Soggy and terrible. Straight in the trash. The pizza: hardly any toppings. This "all meat" california pizza was pretty much all dough and cheese and sauce with the absolute TINIEST sprinklings of toppings possible. It was pathetic. I had never seen such a stingy amount of toppings on a pizza ever in my life. The pizza itself was horrible. The dough tasted very off -- perhaps it sat next to the fries for a week in the freezer or on a counter? I don't know. But it was horrible. The whole pie was EXTREMELY salty. Disgustingly so. I understand the meat on an all-meat pizza is salty but this...this was something different. Also keep in mind there was hardly any meat. I had never had a pizza that tasted so terrible as this one. SO that's it. I'm done with this place. Despite several "questionable" experiences with their food, no more. Never again. Awful. There are plenty of better pizza joints nearby if you absolutely must have pizza in this neighborhood.

Great pizza! Love them, the Quality is always consistent at a great price, that's exactly why I go often. I ask for extra pesto to take with me, no problem, they go out of their way to make sure you're happy! The plus here, is that Everyone who works there is super nice! I can't ask for anything more ...

They were very quick with delivery and the pizza was delicious. The family all ate it up. The owner Ahmad is a nice hard working guy. Five star for the all together good experience.

I like the other location better,but one night recently the 6th street location closed early and I had no choice but to get my Chico's Pizza fix from the Ellis location. Ordered a pepperoni+jalapeno pizza and it was okay. Maybe the sauce isn't as tasty as the other location but it was decent.

Ordered delivery at work. The pizza arrived pretty fast. It was pretty good. Nothing to write home about. We ordered a Hawaiian pizza. Slices were pretty big. But that's about it. We like to delivery driver. He's always nice when he comes in. Honestly I wouldn't order from here, but if my co-worker did, I wouldn't mind stealing a slice from her. In all fairness though, I'm not a pizza person at all.

Chico's is the best pizza, hands down. Full of toppings, and always willing to make a custom slice. I love a good veggie slice (my friends make fun of me because apparently that's not "real" pizza, pfft), and because this is inexplicably one of the least popular slices, they rarely have a veggie slice ready for takeout. So what do they do? They take a cheese slice, pile veggies on top of it, put more cheese on it, and throw it in the oven. Omg. It's a mountain of veggies and cheese and it's amazing. And BOTH Chico's locations do this. I love them. It's well worth the shady walk through the TL.

I go here mostly because of the location they are next door to my home. The pizza is actually pretty good and the calzones are great but they lack in how to run a business and you get the sense they are just winging it. Example: I order Honey Barbque chicken wings from them (I now know one location has them the other does not) they don't have honey BBQ chicken wings. Do they call, do they substitute mild buffalo wings no. They give me spicey buffalo wings. I call and they say oh sorry, I ask to exchange and they say no. Any normal restaurant would give them to me for free. But in the TL it's everyoone for themselves.

I just try to order from this place on my break and I get a call from the delivery person not the store employee or manager or anyone from the store but the delivery person that they are out of the item that I ordered. That call came in 10 minutes before the estimate time they said that they were going to deliver my food I really think that this was unfair and rude that no one from the store could call me. The order on the app says it was being processed and that it was cooking when you didn't even have the one item from my order. When I was told from the delivery person that they weren't going to do anything about it the last response on my order or try to give me any kind of discount whatsoever I completely canceled it because that was terrible customer service and I'll never be ordering from this place again!!!!!

I ordered from Chico's for the first time and I literally live like 2 blocks away from the location in downtown San Francisco. The app said it was going to be delivered by 1:10am and it didn't get delivered until 1:27. I called them at 1:10 to ask them where my delivery was and they said it would take 10-15 minutes. I literally only ordered two things a small Hawaiian pizza and jalapeño poppers. When my food finally got here it was cold !!! So there's no way that they had to make the food after my phone call otherwise the food would have been hot. By car (which is how food is delivered) there is no way it takes almost two hours to drive less than 4 blocks!!! So what am I suppose to think? Did they just forget to deliver my order or did they forget that the order was placed through yelp??? I can't lie and say that the food is not amazing but honestly I would've saved so much more time if I had just went in person. If you live close to the location just go to the place in person because the free delivery service is honestly not even worth it.

Habitually late delivery. Food would be okay quality if it was ever delivered in a timely manner. I have ordered takeout several times and been pleasantly satisfied, but it's apparent that their delivery staff doesn't care. I'll gladly update my review if my delivery concerns are ever addressed. Take out? Great. But for a business that is mostly delivery I expect more. Especially from a place so close.

This location is horrible!! Don't order delivery from this location. You will have to wait over 2hrs on a Tuesday. I called twice asking where my pizza the person told me he on his way I only live 5 blocks from this location. The service from this place is just horrible. And when the pizza got here it was cold and old... worst pizza place in San Francisco

I love Chicos! I get their pizza every time I'm in town and it's SOOOO good. They're never late and their delivery guys are very nice.

Food came after 1 hour 55 min (no joke). The best part of it? Them messing up with the order. Dont waste your time ordering for delivery there they clearly are incompetent. The calzone was geasy and chewy (and delivered cold, obviously). Where is the zero star button?

I have ordered delivery from here a bunch of times. They had an amazing deal for a large 1 topping pizza, but it's not offered on eat24 anymore. Pizza is pretty good, but the calzones are bomb! Never ordering pizza again, the combination calzone is delicious! I typically eat half of the calzone for lunch and save the other for lunch the following day, they are big. Quick delivery, nice drivers.

Excellent food. Excellent service. The manager made me a great spaghetti and meat dish himself near closing time at 300am. He did it happily and told me don't worry about the time. Definitely a place I will visit again!

terrible place ... pay for the food with a card and I never arrive. I called and they co-rudely told me that they did not have any order and they hung me up. They are very rude.

While the food is OK, the hygiene of the workers is atrocious. Also, they will cheat you by charging slightly higher prices than the menu without telling you beforehand. About the hygiene, the staff doesn't wash their hands, wear food service gloves or refrain from wiping their noses or smoking outside before preparing food. I have even seen one guy pat someone on the back and go to the kitchen and start working without washing his hands. One food preparer wiped his nose and his fingers were blackened. I would eat there again if it weren't for the unwashed employees preparing the food. Becoming ill is not worth the trouble of an inexpensive meal.

I feel so fantastically bad giving this review. This is my first bad review of a place. But the pizza is just bad. It tastes funny and doesn't sick well in my stomach. I have given this place a few chances. Recently they have this special on spaghetti, garlic bread, and soda for like 6 bucks. The spaghetti is alright. Way better than the pizza. The location of the place is not great for people that unfamiliar with the TL. Usually customers are made up of locals. The only reason I don't give this place one star is that the staff is usually very nice, especially the manager. They also keep it very clean.

Called to do an order for delivery and the guy was rushing and was grabbing my card for payment and he was like he I got customers and hung up on me

My daughter and I had to make a late night run to the city and while I was going down Ellis I saw this pizza place I was feeling kinda hungry since I didn't have anything to eat for dinner so we went inside. My daughter had the chicken wings and they were so good or should I say out of this world good and I have the lasagna it was the best shall I say fast food lasagna I've had ever. I even bought a bunch of food to bring home to my other kids. A slice of pizza and they were fat slice's for 3.75 each can't beat that. In other words I will have to visit my cousin more often just to go have some pizza lol.

Quite literally the WORST pizza I've ever had. It also arrived super soggy with basically no sauce and "didn't believe me". Why would I make that up? Grubhub also charged me a $2 delivery fee even though the restaurant doesn't charge one (free delivery on yelp). The delivery guy was nice, but that's the only good thing about this place.

When you're already lit, the pizza from this place is perfect. The several homeless people in and around the entrance didn't feel safe and the dude serving us was either really high or super tired. His eyes were blinking independently of each other.
