Chikù, ristorante, catering, eventi, spazio culturale

We saw this place mentioned on Stanley Tucci's programme and loved the sound of its combination of social action and fabulous food - it did not disappoint, this was some of the best food we had while we were in Italy (the vege moussaka was INCREDIBLE) and the hospitality and service was amazing. The women who work there are so friendly and welcoming, and Mario was kind enough to show us around the whole space, including the exhibition space above the cafe where children from the local school have created the art. We received the warmest welcome, great hospitality and some of the best food we've had during our travels - we cannot recommend this place highly enough!! Please visit, it is an amazing project doing amazing things within a community that has been marginalised on multiple levels, don't be put off by your perceptions of Scampia. It's really easy to get to, just ride right to the end of Linea 1 and its then a 15min walk. Plus, Scampia has some stunning street art and loads of green spaces, well worth an explore.

A nice place to eat some really good roma-italian food. The food was cheap and super delicious. The people there made the place very special. I would recommend and come back every time I‘m in Napoli.

A cozy and nice place in Scampia! We went there with a group from university and enjoyed the Roma Italian kitchen. Food was really delicious and the staff was super kind! I can highly recommend this place :))

My experience is as an armchair traveller watching Stanley Tucci's show, Searching for Italy." Now I know that sometime in my life I have to go to Chikù, and if it's on the menu order the sarma. Those stuffed cabbage rolls remind me of what by German grandmother made.

We went here as part of the Scampia tour. It was a great experience. The fabulous food, hospitality, location and history behind the restaurant were very special. I would recommend.

Giovedì 15 maggio 2025 in occasione di una cerimonia di premiazione, per la prima volta mi reco a Scampia alla sede distaccata dell'Università Federico II. Arrivo in anticipo e chiedo alla portineria un ristorante nelle vicinanza. Mi dicono esserci una pizzeria ed un ristorante alle spalle della struttura, il Chikù. Leggo le recensioni, tutte positive, quindi ci vado. Dopo 5 minuti di cammino, entro in una struttura pubblica abbastanza grande, praticamente deserta, con qualche perplessità faccio un percorso tortuoso, ed arrivo in cima, all'ingresso del "ristorante". Entriamo, siamo in coppia e subito capisco che non è il solito ristorante ma molto di più, uno spazio sociale anche dedicato al coworking. Ci sono alcunivragazzi che in modo molto informale pranzano insieme. Ci accoglie una ragazza sorridente, affabile con un atteggiamento positivo e bello che mette di buon umore e che non sibriscontra spesso, ci illustra cosa poter ordinare, dopo poco ci arriva: - una moussaka; - un piatto di pasta (caserecce) fredda con olive, capperi, pinoli, uvetta e pomodorini; - una salsiccia alla piastra con contorno di peperoni; - un piatto di broccoli all'insalata (poteva essere per 3 persone); - acqua minerale in bottiglia di vetro. Tutto BUONISSIMO, anche il pane. Prezzo € 24 pagato con pos ad un'altra ragazza sorridente e simpaticissima. Posto consigliato per il cibo e per l'ambiente, per le persone che lo gestiscono ed in ultimo ma non per ultimo per il prezzo. Vi auguro il meglio!
