Chilango’s

Ingredients were fresh, the tortillas are tasty too. The mushroom taco, and the ground beef taco were excellent. Everything else needs some salt, especially the guac—it was so bland… given that, it wasn’t bad for a Mexican food truck in the middle of Humboldt. It was also expensive—six tacos, a side of guac, and two drinks for $70 including tip.

My absolute favorite Mexican restaurant!! Their attention to detail and locally sourced organic ingredients really make every meal here feel memorable. I love their gluten free super burritos and tacos. Their hibiscus tea is so refreshing.

if you're looking for something that's authentic, hardy, and high quality, this is the place. I ordered the super nachos with birria, 2 birria tacos, the tres leches cupcake with peaches, and a Mexican coke to round it out. Service was quick and friendly, all my questions were answered warmly as well. The tacos were superb-the tortillas were fresh and tasted homemade, the meat was tender and fresh, and all the toppings were perfect compliments to the protein. The nachos featured the same delicious tortillas but with so much crunch. The guacamole was perfectly balanced, the salsa was nice and spicy, and the cheese was grilled to perfection. The tres leches cupcake was dense, rich, and creamy with just the right hint of brightness from the locally sourced peaches. I was highly impressed with this little taco truck, you'd be hard pressed to find something that compares in the area. I will definitely be going back in the near future!

Solid tacos that include hand made corn tortillas a few chips and your choice of salsa from spicy to mild. Fillings are fantastic especially the pork pernil

Damn this food is good. The burger is bomb, and the birria ramen is great. Great service, great food. Keep crushing it Chilango’s.

Such good food! Everything tasted really fresh and everyone was so nice and great with our 1.5 year old daughter. We will definitely be back :)

Amazing food! I love that they use locally sourced organic products. I am yet to try something I don't love. Hands down, my favorite Mexican place in Humboldt & really love they offer gluten free burritos!

We ate here because of the positive reviews but the burritos were not very good. My girlfriend ordered the Super Burrito and I had the Cali Burrito both of them were cold, dry, and hardly any meat. The Cali Burrito had fries that tasted like they were 3 hours old. On the bright side the Tostada was delicious we split that and both only ate half of our burritos. Maybe they were just having an off day and didn't care about food quality since it was an hour before closing IDK. It sucked

Simply the best Mexican, and some of the best food you will find in all of Humboldt county. As somebody who usually stops in healdsburg before heading up north, this and Mar y Terra have given me hope for quality cuisine in the remote north of Humboldt and Mendocino counties.

Food was so fresh and yummy! Got two California burritos with asada and it was the best I've ever heard. The staff were so friendly and you can tell they truly enjoy what they do. Come here and you won't regret it!

Authentic Mexican flavor, delicious. We had the chicken torta and the asada huarache, both amazing. Very friendly. Super clean. You can order ahead if takeout, they are busy!! Definitely one you should try when visiting Arcata.

Excellent food, made with love. You couldn't possibly regret coming here. The burritos and tacos are amazing. My man always gets the Torta, on locally made bread. Owner uses locally sourced ingredients, organic stuff... really high quality.

Best Birria taco's in town. My little brother is obsessed with this place, so I had to try it. Amazing service, yummy food, and in a convenient area in town. Cozy little set up behind a gas station.

The tastiest new food truck is using fresh local produce and organic homemade tortillas! The carne asada fries with GRILLED cheese and all the sauces were seriously sooo good!! The birria ramen was perfection! I've also tried the mushroom medley burrito and it was super tasty and well put together! The owners Eric and Amanda are super sweet and amazing chefs! They have a bunch of seating behind the union town gas station across from Hatchet house and nice music playing in the sunshine! Go enjoy and support a new business!

Come for the homemade tortillas, stay for the bright delicious flavors and fresh, obviously high quality ingredients! We loved everything we tried. Stands out among the other options.
