Chilantro at this parmer location is the best near the domain! I live in the domain and come here to get chilantro at this location. They’re always smiling, serving the best (and a lot)! You’ll get a great experience here if you haven’t satisfied with any other chilantros :)

Went here for the first time today and got the #1 B’BIMBAP BOWL and a Pineapple Cream Soda. A little on the pricey side ($20) for one person but it was ALOT of food and could work as two separate servings making it cheaper overall. That said, it was absolutely delicious and I am stuffed after only eating half of it. I def recommend trying if you’re in the area!

I have tried tofu noodle bowl, it is really good. Good amount for lunch. Very clean ingredients and delicious meal.

The new red chimichurri sauce is delicious! Really adds to the food. The man that makes your food was very friendly the cashier had a bee up her backside. The place is relatively clean but I came in after the lunch rush. I am in hopes the chimichurri sauce stays around. I go when they offer carne asada. I'd like it and go often if ground beef was offered. The sauce is full of flavor.

Best Korean fusion restaurant I’ve had! Robert has the best customer service and served my sister and I for our first ever visit. He showcased the options available and offered the best bowls for us. He also gave us free dumplings for our first order! Robert is also bilingual in Spanish, so don’t fret! We will be coming here again very soon!

This was better than Chipotle. The owner/manager helped me through the ordering process helping me identify which ingredients were vegetarian. 5/5

This is always a fun place! I love the Asian fusion style where I can get a bowl and French fries. I didn’t go crazy on the fired but you can build the toppings just like a bowl. The staff has always been friendly and helpful as I am fairly new ordering here. I have been here 3 times and I now have the rewards program. Place is clean and easy to order/get food. Limited seating area indoor and outdoor

This location is perfectly tucked into a small shopping area! Service was fast, and those French fries were FRESH! I built my own bowl with double protein and the serving was perfect to split into three meals for myself. The kimchi is so tasty! And I love that you can be as creative as you want.

Chi'Lantro is a fast casual Korean BBQ serving up rice bowls, wraps, wings, and fries. You select your bowl and you can add to it like chipotle style. It is a great healthy alternative and the service was great and gave me the rundown on how everything works. I got the chicken bowl and added all of the veggies and sauces I could. It came out at a decent price and plenty of food to fill you up. They also offer Korean BBQ wings and kimchi fries. Definitely a spot I'm going to have to go back to try other items on their menu.

The service here is the worst I've ever seen. Not that it's my first time either- I'm a regular. They repeatedly make my order wrong, but the location of the store and the vegetarian options keep me coming back. But, tonight, when we called to start a new order for me because the one they made me was again wwwwrong, the woman on the other end told me in Spanish they didn't speak English. This place should probably just close.

Rising from the ashes of Verts (This was actually the first location where Verts started doing fries, before things went down for them.) comes another Austin institution. And I say that with love and affection. The laid back food stand at a festival vibe that started with Chi'Lantro stays. I'm a fan of the Kim Chi Fries, the now famous Kim Chi Fries. I am a fan that I can get them in a wrap along with veg and queso and other goodies. So much so I cannot really comment on anything else on the menu, because I don't want to venture too far from my love. The agua fresca is worth commenting on, and it's very good. I wouldn't have thought of a lavender lemonade, but it certainly pops. All in all, glad to have it in the neighborhood and to see it grow and thrive.

We have been atleast dozen times to this location chilantro and they are not consistent. Today was the worst, we got 2 rice bowls and one kids bowl, all with tofu, the tofu was super salty, it's like soaked in salty water, obviously we couldn't eat, so called them and told about it, and the lady on other end says Thankyou, I'll inform manager not apologizing for it. So if the manager reads this review, do taste your food before serving it to customers.

I love eating here. The atmosphere is relaxing and the staff is super friendly and chat when I come in. Their bowls and salads are delicious and always made with fresh ingredients. I recently tried the Korean wings and they are awesome!

The fact that the bowl on the right is an entire $13 portion of food according to this restaurant says it all. Never eating here again

Makes me sad that the quality of Chi'Lantro has drastically gone downhill. I used to get Chi'Lantro often when I was in college. I remember how their kimchi fries were all the rage. My friends and I would frequent the food truck or their Lamar location, and we would gobble up kimchi fries and chicken wings. Feeling nostalgic, I opted to get lunch at this particular location. Their menu has certainly changed over the years. I promise I don't enjoy writing negative reviews, but I had a truly awful experience that day. I noticed that there wasn't any chicken left when I came up to the counter to order, so I asked if they were about to make more. Unfortunately, there was a language barrier, so they had a very difficult time understanding my questions. As they went down the line, they didn't know which ingredients were supposed to go in the bowl. I tried my best to communicate with them, but the employee was very new and had to ask for help multiple times. Another employee at the end of the line didn't know how to work the POS system. Everyone was just confused. No, I did not make a fuss or complain, I was very patient, accepted my food, and sat down to eat. I ended up with a soggy bowl of overcooked, dry chicken, mushy canned corn, and cabbage and carrots SOAKED in spicy mayonnaise. The kimchi fries were very mediocre. The kimchi was too sour and didn't taste fresh at all. Everything was so bad that I didn't even bother to take the leftovers home. I had to toss the whole thing after a couple of bites which kills me because I hate food waste. Sorry Chi'Lantro. You're just not what you used to be. :(

This place is beyond delicious. My issue is two things. One they took chicken wings off the menu one of the best options here. I also have a complaint about the price. This cost me $12 plus tip.

This used to be my go to place for a working lunch, but lately they've been skimping hard on the protein, last two times have only got 2-3 little pieces of chicken in my meal, not worth it anymore. It used to have good portions

Chi'Lantro on Parmer and McNeil is a great location for this Korean fusion restaurant, think Chipotle with some fresh Korean flavors. I love their bowls and the kimchi fries are what the restaurant is known for. Got the queso this time on my bowl which was great. Most of the staff were friendly except the guy at the register who was mad that I kept coming back for utensils and napkins when he hadn't given them to us at the start. I'll be back to Chi'Lantro!!

Considering I live one mile from Chi'Lantro, I'm surprised it took me this long to give it a try. But, it was definitely worth the wait! Chi'Lantro is a korean-bbq inspired restaurant that reminds me a lot of Chipotle. You select from a rice bowl, wrap, fries, or salad base, choose your protein, and add as many toppings as you'd like. Toppings include carrots, cabbage, cheese, onions, and tons of sauces. They also have Kimchi Fries (I'm assuming this is their signature dish) which come loaded with a variety of toppings. That's what I ordered and I absolutely loved them. A typical meal here costs around $8-9 which isn't terrible considering they're hefty portions. Their food is also fairly spicy so be prepared! I ordered the spicy chicken not thinking that I'm from the North and am NOT used to anything beyond a mild kick. Long story short, I practically chugged a gallon of water during my meal. Great food, but rough on the intestines if you're not used to spice. Unfortunately, the service wasn't too great at Chi'Lantro. The staff were slow in preparing our orders and didn't offer much help when I asked about the menu options. There also wasn't much seating inside with only 3-4 tables to choose from. Overall, I'd recommend Chi'Lantro but I would order ahead and take your food to go. The korean-bbq cuisine is definitely unique for Austin and worth a try!

My favorite go to for a quick yummy meal. I love the bowls because depending on what type of meal you're wanting, you can add as much or as little as you want. Easy way to control your calories but still get a yummy meal!

I don't always go to Chilantro but when I do I go big or go home!! Kimchi Fries Ssäm with double ribeye! Man this place nails the flavors and the quality of food. I don't think they've lost a thing as they've been expanding. Shark tank didn't even go to their head.... well maybe a little it is on their website lol. Nonetheless if you haven't tried them out I'm not sure what you're waiting on! 4-stars only because the bathrooms were closed and well I had to pee ‍

I've been eating Chi'Lantro since I moved to Austin early 2013 out of their food truck close to the university . Y'all already know they have amazing kimchi fries and tacos and I don't have to explain . But to the newbies to Austin Chi'Lantro is a staple and has made a name for itself for a while now . They have several locations even one by the Domain . Although I always wanted something Chi'Lantro might not be known for which is chicken wings , they have amazing wings in a sauce hilariously called Gangnam sauce . I always got this and an old favorite called the triple dip which had queso, guacamole and corn with cotija sprinkled on top to dip tostadas in. Sadly they only serve those items individually now which is just as well because the wings are the things I crave the most . The wings are a savory ,sweet a little spicy and have a nice crunch it's the perfect texture/umami bite of chicken . Sadly I had to drive to burnet if I wanted to get those as the location at the domain only had bowls, tacos and fries . When I saw a Chi'Lantro sign pop up a month back off Parmer as I made my way to the HEb on McNeil I almost caused an accident because I was in disbelief and so excited. Yeah I love the food here that much so roll your eyes and sue me lol . Even better they have the wings at this location as I just learned today on my first visit . I'm pleased to finally be within minutes of a location and even happier that it's now in delivery range of my house . Stop in as they are having discounts and a limited free delivery for the first week or so .

I'm excited for this location as it's only 16 minutes away versus the 30 minutes I had to drive before. They are just opening so it's packed with workers in training. I only had a little money in my account but found some cash so I called to ask if they take cash. I was told they do, so I placed my order and made the drive. I get here and see a sign stating that they do not take cash. Had I known that, I would have stopped at the bank to deposit the cash I had found. I decided I would hit my account and run to the bank right away to depost the money before hopefully incuring an overdraft fee. The manager stated he would give me a discount so I went up to pay and the manager conveniently dissapeared and the cashier apparently didn't hear anything about a discount. Before I left the parking lot I opened my food to take a quick bite only to realize it was wrong. The stuff I asked them not to put in my bowl was there in abundance. I checked my receipt thinking maybe they had heard me wrong over the phone, (like the cash) but my request was on the receipt. So I went back in and asked them to remake it. This location will no doubt get a better rating from me later, but right now, it's a mess.

It's decent. Good for those who are health conscious. Reminds me chipotle but Korean. A tad bit pricey if you do add ons(avacado, etc). Overall a decent place to grab a bite to eat for there or to go. Edit *Unfortunately I got sick after eating here* :(

Service and restaurant are great. All ingredients except for one of their main-beef-are great. I've ordered the beef a few times and every time I do I'm reminded why I usually get chicken. Please use trimmed beef-the chucks are primarily fatty pieces that end up in the trash. All else is delish-especially their magic sauce, kimchi, etc!

Decent fast food Korean bbq, if you want a quick & tasty bite. Right off Parmer near the McNeil intersection. Their signature dish is kimchi fries, available with tofu, pork, chicken or beef. Fairly tasty. Dine in or take out.

How can you improve eating a "bowl"? I found myself answering before I even asked the question. The answer was obvious after I ate a bowl at Chi'lantro. The staff steered me toward the beginning of the line as I awkwardly tried to read the menu. Actually, all I had to do was mimic my way of ordering from their competitor. I then ordered a bowl and filled it with brown rice, black beans, spicy pork, purple cabbage, carrots, tortilla strips, pickled peppers and onions, and a very spicy sauce. And, the dish worked even with black beans. The flavor of the pork carried the dish, and the rice and beans supported the meal. The addition of fresh vegetables separated them from their competitors by adding a different texture and providing a freshness. Finally, the "bowl" was fantastic. This restaurant is a must because it's very casual and quick, but your definition of a "bowl" will broaden due to Korean/Mexican fusion! I can't wait to try other combinations.

This place had really awesome, helpful, friendly staff willing to help and answer questions. They even helped with toppings just with "this is my favorite." I loved that! Great staff! I had the cream soda from the fountain drink and it was delicious! I got the Kim chi fries for my meal, and it was pretty good! There was no wait for us; we were first in line with no one behind us. They accepted Apple Pay and there was two spots for outdoor seating. It's something different for fast food!

Just because you serve kimchi and japchae doesnt mean its korean bbq inspired. This is a korean style burrito/bowl spot like the one a couple stores down. Theres obviously a kitchen, but no one cooking. Its all premade and not very hot. I highly doubt its up to temp by health standards. The ceiling is leaking on the floor, tables and chairs. Otherwise is was texas size and filling. Will edit if my tummy doesnt feel too good in a bit

We opted for dine in at this location on a Saturday afternoon. There was not much people so we were able to quickly get into the order line. Chose the fries bowl (my absolute go-to here). They are only serving in the to-go boxes even if you dine in. My rating for the food went down because the portion went down - serving stingy plus only serving in tiny togo boxes. Their dine-in bowls are 1.5x - not a big deal but if you charge the same for both options then needs to serve the same. The way they pack their to-go boxes is also needs improvement - all the sauce sticks up to the box on the cover which makes it difficult to scoop it. Location was clean and staff was good. Probably not returning to Chilantro until they are done with their to-go boxes only policy for dine in.

tasted good, but it's barely any food - i guess its inflation higher food prices and barley any food. I think I had a total of 20 spinach leaves. No joke look at the photo. 13 bucks. that's $.65 per spinach leaf. Only one person speaks English. Ahhh should've went to chipotle next door.

Food is usually pretty spot on. The last two times I've ordered from this location the protein (beef in this case) was rubbery, stuck in a big meat clump and overall not appealing. Hopefully this is just a slump and not permanent.

We popped in here for lunch between jobs and I am glad we did. Great place for lunch! Definitely a win! Loved it. Its setup is similar to a Chipotle where you get to build your own bowl. But entirely different options. I'm not a huge fan of kimchi but my husband got it on his bowl and I tried it (of course) and it is a winner as far as kimchi goes, nice and garlicky. This place was bustling at lunch time and I can see why! We got bowls with the sweet potato base, but they also offer rice, brown rice or you can choose a salad or wrap. Great place. Friendly atmosphere, but keep in mind they have only a little space for dine in. We will definitely return!

I ordered the Spicy Pork Classic Kimchi Fries.I added a fried egg, pickled cucumbers/veggies. My husband ordered the same thing but with spicy pork. They both were good, I got good customer service and my order was on time. I love Kimchi, allllll varieties, the only minus I have to say is the actual Kimchi. I could barely taste it and I added extra. I will be back and try other items. Good work during a pandemic on a weekend!

Now that I've found this place I don't need Chipotle! I just found this place from looking up places online and it came up. Then I saw it was on Shark Tank and I had to go! Hands down one of my favorites!!! This place is so good I came here two days in a row!!! Making todays visit my third time coming here. And it's only been about three weeks?? If that doesn't mean something I don't know what does. I just wish the points system here was different. Most places these days take your number and you start racking up points just like that. Now I have to scan a barcode go on a site or app etc. sorry, guys I love you but I do not want another app!! Or have to go through so much work for it. Love you guys but not that much. Probably my only dislike. Other than that I can't ask for much else. The food is amazing. The vegan options are clearly labeled. Staff is helpful and customer service is good. Making me come back again and again.

After seeing the owner on Sharktank, we knew we needed to check this place out when the weekend hit. We ordered the specialty fries and an order of the queso to share. My son and husband loved the wings more than they thought they would... like fighting over the last wings. I had the pulled pork bowl with tons of yummy, fresh, and healthy toppings, like carrots, avocado, and black beans. We ordered a variety since it was our first time picking up food, and we can honestly say it was ALL good. No, great!!!
