How to Celebrate Christmas 2020 in San Francisco | Eater SF
"I’m glad that Chili House, the peking-duck legend of the Richmond, confirmed it will stay open on both Christmas Eve and Day serving its usual chile-laced menu; they have a limited number of ducks per day, so it’s worth calling ahead." - Becky Duffett
The Hottest SF Neighborhood for Dining in 2018 | Eater SF
"Included among the Richmond’s go-to restaurants, Chili House is cited as one of the established spots that help define the neighborhood’s varied and affordable dining scene." - Ellen Fort
Ft Collins Tour. Friends we were visiting ordered a large takeout order that I went to pickup. You can dine in. The service was very friendly and they were good making sure I was taken care of. The food was really good. Check out the pics.

This annoys me. The flavor is bland and the chicken tastes sort of off. What I would expect from a frozen meal in the grocery store. The meat to veggie ratio in some of their dishes like this Thai basil chicken is a rip off for what I paid. Also, there was hardly any basil.
If you want quality order from Hunan.
This will be the last time I order from Chili House.

Service was amazing, food was ready 10 minutes before pickup. Great for me since I was there early. The pad Thai was under seasoned, leaving it very bland. The sesame chicken was tasteful and cooked well. Would recommended that dish if you eat there. Overall, it felt over priced from the quality of food provided.

I’ve had delivery and dined in at Chili House. They offer great Chinese food, with generous portions, and at a reasonable price. I took my best friend who’s a chef for the rich and not so famous. He thoroughly enjoyed his meal there and this guy is selective about where he dines at. The beef pad Thai is pretty good and the kung pao chicken is great also. So when you feel like getting some Chinese food give Chili House a try.

Great steamed dumplings, sesame chicken, and sushi. The sesame chicken is labeled as spicy, but neither of us found it to be spicy at all. The lo mein was not our favorite, but not bad. The spicy tuna roll was SPICY. It was delicious, but definitely the spiciest I've ever had for a spicy tuna roll.

The food was alright.
I bought their dinner combination special...egg drop soup, wantons, spring roll, fried rice, and walnut shrimp. 🍤
I thought the egg drop soup tasted burnt, the spring roll was greasy, and the sauce of the walnut shrimp was rather thick.

There delivery driver knocked on my door demanding more in a tip and then threw food in front of my door when I refused. When I called to talk to the manager she defended his actions any saying well people haven’t been tipping for orders. Mind you I did tip so it was uncalled for. Been giving this place business for 5 years. I won’t be doing that anymore

This place used to be five stars. Now it has gone way downhill, the wait staff have not been trained properly. They serve you a meal from the lunch menu and charge you dinner prices.
