With all the hype from the mozz sticks, I expected them to be.. tastier. Still pretty good, and plenty of Nashville hot seasoning which made it addicting. I unfortunately had my hopes higher with everything including the burger from YouTubers who said how great things were. But overall, it was a solid meal that I don’t need to eat again.

Total Score: 8.55 Bathroom: 1.5/5 Bathroom was quite icky. Why was the area around the urinal so wet. Why is the paper towel dispenser so high up. Why are there so many holes in the drain. Customer Service: 4.25/5 Very easy to grab. Could get what we wanted. Also checked up on us frequently. Only gripe was the lack of water. Ambiance: 3.5/5 Normal American sports bar vibe. Food: 5/5 I’ve never had food so American and Chungus. This is my first time here and I’ve only seen the tiktoks about Chili’s so always wanted to been. This is the big back dream. I was literally covered in sauce after this. The cheese pull from the mozz was heavenly. The messy hands. The sauce. The mini burgers. This went beyond my expectations. I was living the big back dream. I went nonverbal eating everything. Wow: 1/1 I was in a state of enlightenment this day. This is what they mean by the American dream. I have made it. I have truly made it out. I felt like I could go back to church and be Christian and straight again. I was lifted up into heaven. Dined in so we all got the big cups with handles. Once I finished my Diet Coke, I noticed a to-go cup lid crammed in my cup alongside the ice. We notified two servers who said they would look into it but they didn't. Everyone was confused. Concerning because it seems like the cup may have been used or something. Took a while before the manager said anything. No real answers just confusion. Comped our appetizer and the drink and gave us a large bag of chips to take home. Once we got the bill, the had not comped the appetizer. It took like 8 or 10 minutes to get a waiter's attention. It wasn't busy and they didn't seem understaffed. We could see employees casually chatting around tablets. Paid cash. The change came back wrong. Took a while to get anyone back for that. Got home and saw that the bottom half of the chip bag was soaked and disintegrating. Come on, guys. 2 stars since they did sOmething and for rest of the food being fine

This place is legend. The food is a good mix of mexican and comfort. Salads for vegan, ribs and burgers for the rest. Easy parking waiting about 3 minutes for a table. Wait staff were very attentive and worked smoothly together. I had a burger that was big and cooked med/rare as I asked. My ice tea was refilled without having to chase down someone. Very family friendly. A little noisy but still a very good dining experience.

Chilis is great for happy hour - the margarita of the month is Wicked themed and came with cute wand stirrers.

Excellent service offered here. Food was good too. Ordered the mixed platter of triple dippers. The moz was good. Crispy chicken and buffalo boneless chicken was ok. Ultimate Cajun pasta was ok too.

I recently celebrated my 19th birthday here this past Saturday, and it was a party of 10. While the manager was a delight and very kind, I was quite disappointed with the service from our server. Her demeanor was less than satisfactory, and it felt like we were being rushed out, which was disheartening as we were just trying to enjoy our food and have a good time. It was especially hurtful since it was my birthday dinner with family and friends.

This was one of the worst dining experiences I have had in a very very long time. I knew it wasn't going to be a great experience right off the bat as I let them know we were going to have a group of 9 and there was immediate attitude and almost an annoyance that they were having to help us. When they brought our drinks they were all set down in a pile with no explanation of which ones were which and despite asking and calling back to the employee for help we were ignored. That process of being ignored continued through the entire meal. Sauces were never brought, orders weren't correct, sodas sat empty even after multiple requests. We eventually had to get up and get our own Togo boxes. Our waiter walked by us numerous times and no matter how much we called out or tried to get his attention he just continued to ignore us. As did everyone else. At one point a member of our group was sitting with their hand raised for almost 5 minutes trying to get anyones attention. It wasn't a busy night and considering how many employees we counted being short staffed could not have been an issue.

My dad invited me to go out to Chili's. He is a sucker for chain restaurants. I was a little skeptical about the food and service. It has been at least two decades since I've stepped foot into a Chili's. However, the experience beat my expectations. Mostly because of the servers. They were extremely attentive, even gave a fist pump to the busser. I ordered Smashburger, which was only $10.99 on their three for me menu. I had the side salad and mango iced tea and the Smashburger. Everything was very fresh and cooked to perfection. We were seated quickly, and everybody was very attentive. There was plenty of parking in the parking lot. Restrooms were clean. The only minor complaint was that the tablet to pay was not working. Other than that, I really have no complaints.

My girlfriend loves Chili's so after our round of golf, we decided to drop by for an early dinner on a Saturday night. There wasn't a long wait, so we were able to get seated right away. Chili's has an affordable meal option '3 for me' which starts at 10.99, you get a cup of soup, burger n fries, and a soda. They called it a 'smash' burger but it's not anywhere close to being a smashburger, it literally a regular burger with a 1000 island type sauce. Either way, it was edible, not great, but not bad. It did what it needed to do to satisfy for a burger craving. The triple dipper is still where it's at though. Chili's has one of the best chain mozzarella sticks. The buffalo mozz sticks are so good. So much cheese, crispy, and hella tasty. The chicken crispers and south western eggrolls were solid. Compared to the Chili's closer to my house, this one is way better. Overall, if you are looking for a good meal deal, Chili's offers that and you are sure to leave full.

First of all, this is Chili's. Expectations must be realistic. I've been to this Chili's over 20 times and I am always pleasantly surprised. Sometimes the greeters are not the best but I've always had excellent service from the waitstaff. I literally have never had a bad waiter or waitress. The food is above average. I typically get the special meal which includes unlimited chips/salsa and unlimited refills on drinks. The chips/salsa warrants the 5 stars alone as the chips are always fresh and light. The entire table can share the chips making the deal incredible. For $10.99, even fast food such as McD's and Burger King are pricier. I literally paid $17 the other day for a large combo meal at McD's. You will not beat the price for a solid meal anywhere. Chilis is my favorite guilty pleasure

Disappointing experience at this Mountain View Chili's. Came here on a Friday night around 8pm excited to eat some classic Chili's dishes. There's a large parking lot outside with plenty of spaces. We were a group of six and were seated immediately. The restaurant was decently full, but we were still able to be attended to relatively quickly. We ordered the quesadilla, ribs, fajitas, and chicken crispers. The food came out decently quickly, and it was a good temperature. The food was on par with what you'd expect for a Chili's. I was enjoying my chicken crispers. Then disaster struck. Imagine this: you just finished eating and you're enjoying conversation with your friends. Suddenly, you feel a liquid substance all over your face and clothes, as well as the wall behind you. Well, I don't have to imagine, because this was my reality :(. I was in the splash zone while the server was taking our dishes away, and I was left covered in ranch. They grabbed me some napkins but that's it. I understand accidents can happen, but I've never had such poor service like this. And to top it all off, the payment machine didn't work, so we were stuck there for 30 extra minutes, as the server did not come in our direction. Meaning there was ranch still on me for an additional half an hour! Talk about a waste of time. I'm usually a Chili's fanatic, but I am sad to say I will not be returning to this location. I hope this never happens to anyone else. I am honestly not surprised to see many one-star ratings.

Happy New Year! We were seated as we entered the restaurant. It was not busy and still took 15+ minutes to get water and drinks then an additional 15 minutes to have our order taken. The gentleman who seated us was the one who took our drink order. He had a difficult time understanding my drink: a watermelon lemonade. Our server was an older gentleman who had no pep in his service and needs to be coached how to wear pants properly without hanging off his rear. Very unprofessional in my book. The restaurant and bathroom were clean. Our food was brought out by someone other than our server. Husband ordered the Smash Burger and I the Crispy Chicken Sandwich. The sandwiches were ok, the chicken was moist but too salty. We both had fries were appeared and tasted as if they were in the warmer for sometime. A side of ranch was provided but tasted off and was room temperature. Our drinks were filled several times by the gentleman who seated us. Our server came by and asked if we were going to pay at the table kiosk. We said yes then he reminded us to complete the survey for him. Well, that was the wrong thing to say with such poor service! We are regulars at Chilis, mainly in San Jose, and have never received such poor service as we did in Mountain View. Chili's is recommended but not this one! Employees need a little update on professionalism with a caring smile.

Stopped in for a casual dinner and had a great experience on Friday, April 18, 2025 thanks to our server, Sergio! From the moment we were seated, he was attentive and friendly. My daughter accidentally dropped her garlic bread, and without hesitation, Sergio brought out a fresh one right away--no questions asked. That kind of thoughtful service really stands out. Throughout our meal, he kept checking in to make sure we had everything we needed, always with a smile and great attitude. It's not often you get service that makes you feel genuinely cared for at a chain restaurant, but Sergio nailed it. The food was classic Chili's--comforting and tasty--but Sergio's hospitality made the night. We'll definitely be back!

The food here is fairly decent, but also maybe that's because I was really hungry. The cheese fries were decent but I was somewhat expecting there to be more cheese and toppings but I think I didn't have enough. As for the triple dipper, it was pretty good if you like fried foods, it's not too bad. The dipped fried mozzarella was really cheesy (obviously) but it's how you'd expect it to be, very heavy. The sirloin was decent, decent juicing but again it could be better. The broccoli was also somewhat dry but it wasn't terrible. The shrimp had a slight kick, definitely different, everything altogether was definitely filling. As for service, it was also just decent. Took a while to even just get our drinks, took a couple reminders but we eventually got it. Ambiance was alright, floors super sticky, feels a little dirty, but it's what you'd expect from Chili's

We tend to go to Chilis on weekday nights when we are feeling lazy, don't want to spend much and are feeling like eating fried comfort foods for dinner. We've never had to wait for a table. This time we went on a Wednesday after work and it definitely wasn't crowded. My wife and I always order the same combination of menu items to share - one triple dipper (we choose the honey crispers, big mouth bites and either the stuffed mozzarella or the egg rolls) and the three for me (Dr Pepper to drink, chips and salsa but upgraded to the dip trio with two queso's and a salsa if we are really hungry, and then either fajitas or the chicken bacon ranch quesadillas). We always walk out stuffed with leftovers that make a great late night snack. Menu prices have gone up, but with a fair tip it's still less than $50 for two people. Service is always super friendly. It's relatively clean for a chain restaurant - tables are kind of sticky and it's "old" decor but never dirty.

As far as casual dining restaurant chains go, Chili's is probably my favorite. We visited this location on a Tuesday night, for my friend's birthday. They were able to sit our party of 6 right away. Service was fast and friendly, but the temperature in our corner of the restaurant was freezing, for some reason. We ordered Chips & Salsa and Fresh Guacamole for the table, which were great, as always. I don't usually order wings at Chili's, but decided on 8 Bone-In Wings - half Buffalo, half Honey Chipotle. I was able to get both Ranch and Blue Cheese, and the serving size was very generous. The wings were cooked well, but the sauces were only drizzled on top of them, rather than covering the entire wing. It wasn't the most flavorful, and I'd probably stick to other menu items in the future. My friends enjoyed the Triple Dipper and Shrimp Fajitas. We told the server it was my friend's birthday and they brought out a Molten Chocolate Cake with a flaming tortilla chip on top instead of a candle. The staff all came out to sing happy birthday, which was cute. I think you have to sign up for My Chili's Rewards for the dessert to be complimentary though. Overall, solid for a casual dinner!

Always hits the spot. My friend (who's a huge foodie) goes there every month. We got two of the Cajun pasta and one of the short rib combo to split between 3 people. It's plenty of food and delicious for decent prices! It's a great vibe for families and parties!

I ordered UberEats. To-go packaging was fine. My delivery was on time. Some of the food was good, but the chicken was terrible. The triple dipper boneless wings tasted like 3 day old hardened boneless wings. The sliders were fine and the southwest egg rolls were the best thing. My little cousin wanted the kids meal chicken crispers (tenders) they were so trash, the fries were trash too and the watered down ranch, what was that all about? When we go to the restaurant the food is hot, tasty and we just want more and more, but getting delivery you get what you get and you're stuck with it lol. Never getting delivery from here again.

8/11/25... When we came into the restaurant, it was almost empty of guests. there was nobody to greet us, and we stood there long enough that we went and found somebody to give us menus and set us. Then our waiter walked by us twice without greeting us offering us to get drinks, so we went and got our waiter to come help us. They twice tried to give us somebody else's order. And then the food was mediocre, my surf and turf, ribeye and shrimp was way over pepper. And they didn't even give us utensils to eat with. We also had to have somebody go get those for us. And the ambience was just whack. I gave two stars, but really they deserve one. Will not be back.

I went here last night with some friends and order the chicken tenders with fries and mac n cheese. I'm not gonna lie it did not taste that great, I did not finish my meal. I was a big fan of their pan cookie thing tho. The ambiance and service here were pretty good, I was a huge fan of their indoor/outdoor foyer, and pleasantly surprised with how spacious the restaurant was. The staff was kind and friendly, but nothing amazing.

SHARK (^o_o^*) !! this drink was so sugar and syrup! but, totally fun drink of the month bar tender always nice service.

Went for Weekday Lunch Special Food - 2/5. Chicken enchilada soup starts by having a lot of flavor and the consistency is just right. The tortilla strips add a great crunch and the cheese adds extra umami. However, the saltiness catches up with you in about three sips. The cheese wasn't melted and the soup itself was lukewarm. Quesadillas were alright. The flavor was very heavy which got overwhelming quick and the tortilla lacked any toasting. The salsa and sour cream helped balance it out. Service - 3/5. I'm not sure if they lack staff or if it is working as intended because it was chaotic and hard to understand who is suppose to be helping you. Still, I did get everything in a relatively timely manner. Value - 3/5. Its a family chain restaurant so your expectations should match that but I have to say it was a little worse than I imagined. Even so, $10 for a decently sized lunch is not bad. Parking - Mall Lot (Free)

I think some of these low reviews are a bus arbitrary and that it's easy to use chain restaurants as a punching bag for everything that went wrong in your life this week. The place is kept clean... dining room, bathrooms, bar etc. The host greeted my girlfriend and I with a smile upon our arrival at about 7:45 on a Saturday evening. About 75% occupied dining room. We sat at the bar, our server came up to us promptly also with a smile. We both got the 3 for me deals I added a monthly margarita, my gf had a soda. We added chips and salsa. The chips came out quickly, hot and warm. The drinks came out quickly cold and refreshing. My margarita was a bit sweet for my taste but everyone is a critic. Decent little house salads there after and entrees hot and worm right when we expected them. Such a good bang for the buck. The arches and the king can't seem to touch the price/quality ratio Chilis has going on this visit way out first time at this location although we have door dashed from them a couple of times. We will be back.

Placed an order for pickup. No silverware as requested. Lazy workers don't even acknowledge guests walking in. Asked politely for a side of tortilla chips that come with my soup. Assured me it was in the soup, clearly it isn't. They were more interested in talking Spanish to each other while being on personal cell phone. I should have not tipped. Horrible service and you don't even get to go silverware to eat your meal.

Only place open past 9pm on a Sunday in this area besides fast food. The inside looks like a chilis! Nothing out of the ordinary, they had lots of tables and also had those screens where you can play games. I try not to touch them since they are filthy. Pleasantly surprised at how much I liked what I ordered. I got the salmon, they didn't have broccoli so they subbed asparagus. I also asked for a salad instead of rice. The garden salad was huge and had cheese on it too. The asparagus were fresh and crunchy and had salt and other good seasonings on it. The salmon was juicy and cooked perfectly. Had a nice sear and the pesto was really good and not too overpowering. I felt full and healthy after eating it. My co worker got steak and he liked it but said it was more medium rare than medium. The server was very nice and adjusted the bill because they charged us extra for the asparagus by accident. Updating review and reducing stars because the person I was with got food poisoning!!

Got the 3 for me....big bowl of chips & salsa, smashed cheeseburger, fries and was able to upgrade a soft drink to a margarita for extra $3.99 ( so it came to like $15). The staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean. Good place for lunch!

2 stars and that's me being nice. Came in today with the fam for a quick dinner, we were seated quickly however waited over 10 mi to be asked if wanted a drink- service was very unattended but to top things off my patron margarita was all ice. I mean, I know it's chili's but was beyond disappointed. Also, it smells like a chicken coop.

Honestly, 5 stars for service. After reading all the lower star ratings on Yelp I was skeptical. But I was proven wrong. I was immediately seated and even guided on what meal options I could try given that chicken was the only meat I wanted to eat. I'll give food a 5/10. The fried chicken was piping hot and almost scalded my tongue. It was over fried. Curly fries were okayish. The drink was meh. Overall, not bad if you decide to go dining solo.

I had a really disappointing experience at Chili's and honestly don't think I'll be coming back anytime soon. From the moment we walked in, the staff seemed uninterested and unfriendly. We weren't greeted with a smile or even a simple "welcome in," which already set the tone for the visit. The host barely acknowledged us, and after waiting longer than expected to be seated even though the restaurant wasn't that busy we were finally seated..

Food was good.. service fast but the server Will was what stood out.. my server never came so he did it all! He was great.. thank you Will!

As I was heading to Chili's I started humming this!! "I want my baby back, baby back, baby back, I want by baby back, baby back, baby back...Chiliii's baby back ribs... My friend was already waiting for me. I could tell by the look in her eyes, there was a problem in the house" Apparently she had a moment with the hostess, my friend mentioned the problem and wanted to talk to the manager. To which the hostess just smiled, ignored her and walked away- yikes!! Oh boy, I just walked into this. The hostess was ok with me, a bit abrasive, perhaps a bad day and too much work. After all, seems like she was running around checking the door and signing in people and then cleaning off tables. That is a ton on one person. Ok well I was not here for " LUCHA LIBRE" just dinner ! ;-) So after about another 20 minutes of waiting, which by the way my friend told the hostess she already signed in online. Apparently they do not honor that? Wow! Chilis you should update your website then for your customers! So let just say, despite all that jag at first we had a great meal. We did the 3 for me Value. Not sure if it really worked that way, let me explain. We both had the Cilantro Carne Asada the appetizer for me was chips and salsa, her chips and different dips( extra), then the beer your have to pay extra. So in reality, by the time we out the door with tip it was about 26.00 each, so just be aware. Select wisely!! John was our server and he was great and explained everything. I think he smoothed with my friend what happened earlier. His understanding and kindness went a long way. I have not been to Chilis in years. Originally years ago when they opened ,my cousin was one of their top servers. If I am expecting the same service they had back then, forget about it. But compared to what is out there now, there are plenty of choices. I was okay and okay by the time I left. I would say its not economic. I only had one alcoholic drink and what I ordered as noted is what I paid. No soda drink was offered and we had no desserts. So would I go back, sure I think so, but I would try to be more economic. After all this is just down home" food. If you are in the area, give it a try.

Amazing experience! My 3 friends and I split the white queso skillet and two versions of the triple dipper - one with Nashville hot chicken crispers, sliders, mozzarella sticks and the other with chipotle chicken crispers, southwest egg rolls, and more mozzarella sticks. Didn't love the southwest egg rolls, but everything else was great! I think why I'm really happy is because I left without my stomach hurting and I was surprised by that

I recently had a disappointing experience at Chili's Mountain View. After waiting for almost over an hour for my food I had ordered to-go. I was informed by the manager that an employee had mistakenly taken our order, and they had to remake it. It was incredibly frustrating that this was not communicated earlier, leaving us to wait without any updates. To make matters worse, I noticed an off-the-clock employee handling food, which raises serious concerns about proper sanitation. As a retail employee myself, I understand the importance of maintaining professionalism and hygiene standards, even when off-duty. This kind of behavior is unacceptable and unprofessional. Unfortunately, my visit to Chili's Mountain View was far from the enjoyable dining experience I had hoped for. We were given a refund and gift cards for the trouble but I would have just preferred if what happened was communicated earlier in the process.

Ordered their old timer burger medium rare. Perfectly cooked large patty with fresh condiments and melted cheese that was delicious and filling. Fries were hot and crispy. Service was friendly and fast. Clean and comfortable. I'll be back!

June 1,2024 three of us went here after 2pm to eat. When our salad came, we had no silverware, grandson went and got it for us. I ordered fajita platter... the rice was burned and kinda crunchy, threw off a terrible smell. We don't get out much and I was saddened that it didn't go very smoothly. The other people not our waitress were helpful.. They weren't busy... well not with customers anyway.

When it comes to Chili Mountain View... I have to praise my server Fernando for getting me the best Long islands ice tea and his service for our table for my friend's 70th birthday was excellent. My chicken ranch quesadilla was great and fresh... Chili Mountain View location has been our girlfriend' retreat for 20 years and many more to come. Chili is our favorites place as far as a casual hangout place!

My first time here (March 24, 2023) was also the last time I will ever be a patron. I ordered steak, broccoli, loaded mashed potatoes, and a drink. I don't recall exactly what my brother ordered, but he got food and a drink as well. My steak and broccoli were okay, but the loaded mashed potatoes were not good. The taste and consistency made me stop eating the mashed potatoes soon after starting. This has never happened to me when it comes to mashed potatoes. There was something in my brother's drink, so he told the waitress and she said she would bring another drink- that drink never came. During our meal, I noticed a roach (bug) right next to my brother. The first time my brother tried to tell the waitress when she came over, she walked away without acknowledging my brother said anything. I said "maybe she didn't hear you." When the waitress came back, we told her again, and she said "oh, we just sprayed for bugs so that's probably why it's there." No apology, no disgust, no attempt to fix the situation. She asked if we wanted to take our leftovers and we said "definitely not." After my brother and I paid our checks, we went to the front desk to mention that the bug was present during our meal and STILL THERE, and that person at least seemed more sympathetic, but again, mentioned that they just sprayed so that's probably why it's there. At this point, I noticed our waitress go over to where the roach was with what looked like a napkin to get rid of it. I wish she offered to do that as soon as we told her about it.

I tried the trending triple dipper. It was as good as i expected! Everything was freshly made. My favorite was the mozzerella sticks! I also got a side of fries and mac n cheese that were pretty standard. Then of course ended with the chocolate lava cake. Which one is enough for two to share. The service was great! We sat in the bar area and the servers were very attentive and friendly. I recommended to come and try!

We ordered for a pick-up. Have never seen such small portions. Feels like something happened to Chillis as its food is not as good as its used to be. Moreover, the stomachache came right after we ate... We used to like Chillis but Not coming ever again!

Great place to hang out with friends in the evening. The 3 for me options are always consistent, and come with an entree, soda/lemonade, and soup/chips/salad. If you want a good place to lounge and chat with friends casually, Chilis is for you :) 4 stars for the ambience. Shrimp pasta was OK, pasta tends to be undercooked and the sauce is nothing special. But the soups are always good and I always get a huge cup of pink lemonade!

Placed an online order for curbside pickup. I checked in and waited . There was no notification sent saying that my food was ready or on its way out to me... So I waited in the car for another 10 minutes. Finally, I see people going in and out of the restaurant with bag orders so I figured I should walk inside to see where my order is. Upon entering I see my order was sitting on the shelf in a bag right by the entrance. I asked the worker if they were not coming to the curbside, she ignored me. Sadly, I took my order home and discovered its was cold and on both fajita dishes, the veggies were undercooked. We had nearly raw onions. We ended up having to sauté them ourselves. Our rice was super dry like it had been sitting all day. We are extremely disappointed and will not spend time or money here again.

The service is horrible and the food is just ok. Placed a to go order as I came into town to visit my daughter at school. Sat in curbside and watched employees act like I wasn't even there. Finally I went inside and saw them chatting in a group along with the manager who happened to be eating at the time. When I asked for my food it was ready and just sitting there. My food was no longer hot and some of my items were soggy which were inedible to me. No matter how hungry I am I will never go to this establishment again.

worst buffalo wings ever, disgusting taste and look, instead of meat you get bone and nerves, very disappointing

Ordered the half chicken, avocado, bacon sandwich. Selected the Caesar salad as my starter, was served a house salad instead. The chicken tasted like it hadn't been cooked with any seasoning so very bland. Bartender server seem to be very slow in checking on my service. Since I hadn't been to a Chili's in a long time, I didn't understand the billing system was automatic on the counterdidn't care for the fact the to a 20% tip. May be a while before I be back.

Had ribs (very dry) and chicken strips (very good). Corn on cob (moist), broccoli (fresh) and French fries (fresh and not oily). Enviroment clean, staff friendly, service prompt.

Ambiance, food and the Service for sure. It's very convenient from my work and family!

Alex is amazing abd the food is always good. The food is just like Chili's food. That's it. The service by Alex is incredible, Alex engaged with us and was very attentive! We will come back!

This restaurant does NOT really have "curbside pickup." Yes, the website and app claims that they offer curbside pickup. However, after several experiences, I've learned that this restaurant will NOT bring you your food to your vehicle if they claim that they're "busy." Today, I ordered my food to be completed ASAP (via the website). I placed my order at 1:12 PM and, as always, left a good tip too. I immediately received a notification via EMAIL, TEXT, APP and the WEBSITE that my food would be ready between 1:39-1:44 PM. I showed up at 1:39 PM and "checked in." I entered my parking space number (and my car make/model is already on file) and waited. ...and waited, and waited and... I had several previous experiences with food not being brought to the vehicle because they were "busy." This was during busy lunch times. However, I was assured (by Chili's) that this wouldn't happen again. Due to the scarce number of vehicles in the parking lot (and only one other car waiting for food when I arrived), this didn't seem like it would be the case. At 1:56 PM, I still had not received my food. This was puzzling because the restaurant did not look busy. So, I went inside. Two employees were standing there. I was told by one that my food was on the shelf on the wall next to the door. I asked why it wasn't brought out to the curbside. Once again, the employee stated that they do NOT do this "when we're busy." I asked if the food was now cold (since it was roughly 17 minutes after I arrived). She stated that they had "just placed the food there." I arrived home and, of course, the food was quite cold. My fries were not only cold -- but they were overcooked and cold. This made most of them both cold and hard. The rest of the food was edible -- but certainly not "warm" (let alone hot). Now, I understand that restaurants get busy. However, my issue is this: HOW DO 'CURBSIDE' CUSTOMERS KNOW? All of the signage, app, text, email and website tell me is to wait in my vehicle and my food will be brought out. How do we know if the restaurant is busy (especially if there aren't many cars)? If this is the restaurant's policy, then I recommend changing all of the signs and messages to say that they will bring our purchase to us IF THEY ARE NOT BUSY. At this point, I am 0-for-4 in getting actual "curbside pickup." Sure, I park at the curb. However, I usually am forced to wait for my food well past the delivery window before I walk into the restaurant to ask about it. The good news is that my order was mostly correct today. The only thing that they nearly left out was a drink. I offered two stars because I feel generous. I suspect that the food at this particular Chili's might not be too bad if I could only eat it warm. Unfortunately, this location doesn't seem to care about takeout or curbside. I used to like Chili's; however, this location has (pardon the pun) left a bad taste in my mouth.

Came with a big group and the staff were elite in their service. They were constantly checking on us and the food was literally the best I've had at a Chili's. If I could give 6 stars, I would.

This Chili's needs new management to whip it into shape. Arrived at 3:30 with some friends for late lunch. Stood inside for about 5 minutes until a hostess finally appeared. Said she had just started. Why couldn't the bartender standing 5 feet away acknowledge us while waiting? The hostess then proceeded to take us to a table but most tables were not bussed and full of dirty plates and glasses. She finally found a clean table. We then proceeded to wait 10-12 minutes with no one coming to our table to take the order. There was a server in the back waiting on the two occupied tables there and a busser finally showed up (again toward the back of the restaurant) but no one ever came to our table and the hostess had again disappeared. We let the four people waiting for a table that entered after us to not bother as we left the restaurant. Sorry Chili's Mountain View , never again.

I've been to this Chili's a few times but it's probably been a couple years since my last visit. This particular location has a great parking lot, very easy to access and always a lot of room, even when they're busy. The building itself is a good size and can accommodate a fair amount of restaurant guests. As of right now, those are about the only things going for this location. When my party and I first arrived, we noticed they were pretty empty for a Saturday night. Sometimes that's just good luck as a guest, but most of the time, this signifies something could be wrong with this location. Upon entry we were quickly told by a host to "give him 5-10mins." with no additional information. I could clearly see that there were only 2 people working in this entire dining room currently. One host, and one server. I did see a 'busser' in the back and what looked like a manager but I wasn't entirely sure yet. That host sat us in about 5 minutes as promised and he was very polite and professional. Shortly after that, we met the one server. He answered a few questions I had about the menu and he too was polite and professional. He gave us a chance to look over the menu and returned to our table exactly like clockwork to take our orders. Everything seemed to be a four to five star experience up to this point. Half of the appetizers came quickly (as they should) but the kids meals came at the same time without a kid's drink. The other half of the appetizers came out with the main course about five minutes later. Sometimes this isn't a bad thing but when it's a cold item and hot item you want to eat them while they are freshly prepared, not having them sit while you finish the other. Our only utensil was the kid's spoon, so our child finished their main course before anyone else got their main course. I personally do not like having the kids ready to go home before I've started eating but perhaps some do. This is when we really confirmed they only had one server working and because of the large influx of new customers which had just occurred, we went from being waited on to waiting 15 minutes before that solo server had a moment to cycle back around. Despite being over worked, he still had his happy demeanor and professional attitude. He looked concerned we weren't eating yet and asked if everything was ok. I let him know we still needed utensils to eat, napkins, the kids drink, drinks refilled, and food was already soggy & room temperature. I was looking for an opportunity to flag him down but couldn't seem to get it to work. At this point, the children at the table were beyond ready to leave and there would be no chance in any adult enjoying any meal. So we offered to pay for the food we were able to consume, (two soft drinks & a kids menu item) and be done with it all. At this point the manager was informed and he came over to ask what the problem was. I explained to him the issues with his restaurant and asked to pay for the items we were able to eat. He only charged me for the kids meal which included a drink we never received. It's clear to me the problems with this restaurant are in the management. He was standing in the back while his overworked employees are expected to do the impossible. Instead of helping with tables, he's okay with losing money and throwing away food. Restaurants on a Saturday night are meant to run like a well oiled machine. If he continues to ignore the issues he's having his success will only continue to decline. I ended up having to get our burgers at a fast food place, since we were low on time and very hungry. Next time I want Chili's, I'll probably go to Union City, which means I'll probably end up eating at T.G.I. Fridays if their wait time isn't crazy. Two stars. One star for the good sized parking lot, and one star for the overworked host, server & busser.

Worst service ever!!! Wanted to try chili's for the 1st time ever! It wasn't even that full (maybe understaffed). Whatever the reason, they treated us with attitude and while getting our order taken the sever was rolling his eyes and sighing and hurrying us up to order. We got here at 7:20pm and get our order of drinks until 8:22pm. I was really hopeful for this place so I still decided to stay and wait. Another party of 6 go here after and they attend them right away with drinks and appetizers. I'm a very understanding person but at this point it was beyond unacceptable. Ordered a margarita and no alcohol at all when I told them about it they gave us attitude and basically told us to F off. I'm sorry but this is bad service and unacceptable. Very disappointing

My husband likes the fajitas here. The Ancho Salmon was delicious and the merlot top notch. Go at off time as service can be slow when busy due to low staff numbers but they all work very hard to give good service.

This has got to be one of the worst Chili's I've ever been to. As some of the other people stated in their reviews it's the management. We came around 1:30 pm when it shouldn't have even mattered if they were busy or not. Upon entering the establishment I noticed one singular server and one buss person for the WHOLE ENTIRE RESTAURANT!!!!! How is management ok with this type of thing?? Or perhaps the GM is sneaky and kisses corporates ass as soon as the regionals come to visit and they know nothing of this. Since this poor girl who was serving us was serving the whole restaurant it took a while to get our food which is understandable given her circumstances. I wasn't upset with her or the buss person but I was really upset with the manager. After being there for almost 2 hours for a simple meal because this GM couldn't handle scheduling the proper staff, I asked the server if she could get the manager. After watching him stand at his little "podium" by the to go order pick up for more than an hour, he ran away to the kitchen as soon as the server told him that we wanted to speak with him. When he finally did make his way back out he headed for our table with a sour attitude. When I tried to explain the situation he gave me the most ridiculous excuses as to why things were the way they were. I am no stranger to the restaurant industry, so the fact that he tried to lie to my face is pretty insulting. I asked him if he's the manager, why does he think he doesn't have any responsibilities besides standing by his podium. He said he's in the back helping the cooks, what do they need help with Giovanni? Heating up the par cooked food? Meanwhile the server is literally fighting for her life in FOH while he's doing nothing back there. After being lied to and insulted and him thinking I was born yesterday I asked for his name and their corporate number, he went to his office and made us wait 30 minutes before bringing out a post it which he scribbled some irrelevant information. Upon calling then number I was given I realized he gave me the HR number for employees of the company. I went back and asked again for the proper information so I could call and ask who hired this incompetent person. This man Giovanni Mate is the laziest manager I have ever witnessed in my 23 years career in this industry. If I ever encountered Mr Mate in my professional career, I would never consider hiring him because of his demeanor and work ethic.
