Walker Hayes’ ‘Fancy Like,’ a Song About Applebee’s, Is Everywhere Now | Eater

"The late-1990s "Baby Back Ribs" commercial jingle became so ubiquitous that it was immortalized in a mainstream film, illustrating how a catchy restaurant jingle can embed itself in popular culture and become an enduring earworm." - Amy McCarthy

This is my first time ordering from Chili’s. Extremely disappointed, really the only thing that I was able to eat or the mozzarella sticks there’s no complaints about that item. It was extremely flavorful and very cheesy.. however I am so disappointed in the rest of the food. The chicken wings are extremely dry and not edible at all. They’re too hard to even chew each bite. I had to spit out because of how hard it was. The cheeseburger that I ordered for my kids also a huge disappointment there was little to no lettuce and the lettuce that they did give was like shredded lettuce, which I don’t know about Chili’s or anything cause this is my first time eating there, but it was not appetizing at all if I wanted a cheeseburger like that then I should’ve known to go to Burger King cause it seems like they use the same lettuce. And the last disappointment was the dessert portion. It was supposed to be like a scoop of ice cream and they gave me a tiny little half spoonful of ice cream in one of those little sauce holders is just really disgusting and it didn’t taste too good either. I’m not sure what’s going on. If it’s the cook that’s on shift right now but I would suggest Chili’s reevaluate what they’re doing because it’s such a disappointment. I know $60 wasn’t much but I honestly really regret getting this from there cause while my kids can eat their cheeseburger I won’t be able to eat none of the wings and it’s just a huge disappointment.

Google
Chili's now a days is a pretty decent deal. Only visited today since I got a gift card but all the stuff shown was under a hundred dollars, which I don't think even many fast food places would be near. It was however INCREDIBLY SALTY, like was surprisingly so, but still overall it was alright.

Google
Food was okay however, we ordered drinks to watch the World Series game and kill time between stops. First drinks were great no issue but when we ordered the Hennessy marg it’s came with not one, not two, but THREE gnats floating on top and below the ice. Pointed it out to server who promptly took it to be remade. Unfortunately, for the what I’m assuming to be supervisor (bartender was swamped so guy who remade drink was helping out), I had full view of the bar and drink making area. I watched him pour out the fly infested drink and remake my drink in the SAME GLASS. Reported it to the manager who promptly removed the drink off our bill. Very thankful for her making it right in the moment but have major concerns of the food prep and cleanliness of this establishment if workers are so brazen to disregard all food safety protocols to save a couple second.

Google
Solid food for the price, and massive portions. You’re guaranteed to be full and happy! The bottomless chips and salsa is always a good move!

Google
Tried their chips and salsa, triple dipper mozzarella sticks, white cheddar mac and cheese and molten cake sundae. Everything was yummy and served instantly.

Google
Fairly busy on Tuesday evening but enough seating area. They have limited options for beers on tap and canned. They have standard cocktails. The LIIT was not like it supposed to be. It was sweet and made in lemonade. The food was okay. The wings were not that good and fries got soggy with cheese on top of it.

Google
I really enjoyed my meal and drinks. The building and ground were well-maintained. The bathroom was clean. I ate a burger and had a couple of drinks at the bar. I was not disappointed and will gladly return. My bar tender was nice and quite attentive, and my drink never sat empty. My meal arrived very quickly, and all was as hoped for. A nice place to spend some time.

Google
Sat in the bar area. Was seated asked for menu she never returned. Asked bartender after he returned to bar 15 mins later. Was NOT busy with customers either. Won't return to this location. Coleman location has great food and service. Rather go there. I ordered the 3 for me deal with fries, big smash burger, cherry coke and chili. Never got a refill for my soda. For this location which was not busy at 130pm on a Sunday afternoon the service wasn't good and burger was dry. I was starving so ate half. I couldn't wait for bartender to come back to bar. Only had 2 men at the bar and 2 other customers who already had their food. I RECOMMEND THE 3 FOR ME DEAL. It's a great deal.

Yelp
There are a few things you can count on with this location(and the chain in general): Consistently and value. The menu staples that have been comfort for over 20 years are still here, even the fajitas and triple dipper. Most of the time we default to a 3 for me and it's always good, even if sometimes the fries are a miss. Chips and salsa always hits the spot. It's clear this place is run well and people work hard here, so don't be shy with gratitude. Recommended.

Yelp
Was randomly craving Chilis and convinced my hubby it was time to relive our college days! I'm not sure if my pallet has changed significantly or what, but wow... this is not good lol. PROS: Good service! Soft drinks were flowing! Questionably affordable alcohol! But the food was not good. They no longer have the classic nachos either so that was sad :( Had the molten chocolate cake and honestly it tasted like it was microwaved. Woke up with the worst heartburn afterwards too. Sooo not worth it.

Yelp
Haven't been to a Chili's in what may be over 16 years now. It's crazy to see how viral they've gone on social media, and how packed they are. Came in to try the Wicked drinks, they were ok. On the sweeter side, not very strong. They didn't come with the wands, unfortunately they ran out long ago. The place was so packed, they started serving people the Wicked drinks in regular soda fountain glasses instead of the martini glasses that they're supposed to come in. Food was very meh. Younger me in high school/college would've inhaled all of it like a vacuum, but I was struggling to get through so much fried food. It really wipes me out. Should've just gotten a salad or something, instead. The 3 for me deal is still a great value, don't get me wrong. Their fried mozzarella appetizer was good, but I could only eat one. Too oily and fried for me.
google avatar

Laura C.

Yelp
Something about Chili's reminds me of that meme, "Ma'am this is a Wendy's." Is it a good value sure! Is it going to taste out of this world amazing, questionable depending upon your palette. Food is edible but don't be expecting Alexander's, it's a Chili's Ma'am. I had a side salad, mozzarella sticks that could be easily mistaken for small blocks of cheese which I was taking a back by and did not like and my stomach probably won't like it either. The Wicked margarita I had was delicious though, but I was super sad they did not have the wicked swizzle sticks. The server we had was nice. But common it's Chili's.

Yelp
Joined the Yelp waitlist on a Friday evening which showed that we were #8 but when we checked in, they said there was no wait and we were seated immediately. We shared the 3 For Me which included a fountain drink, appetizer (chose chips & salsa), and an entree with fries (chose the double old timer cheeseburger) and a triple dipper (chose fried mozzarella x2 and honey chipotle crispers). The 3 For Me was super worth the value since it was only $16.99 for the feast, which was less $$ than if you were to get the entree by itself. The triple dipper was great. The fried mozzarella sticks were delicious and had such a nice crispy texture and went well with the ranch/marinara dipping sauces. Service was good, food came out pretty quickly too!
google avatar

Yelp
It's honestly been such a long time since I've been here, I remember loving it so much and until this day this place is great. Chilis really stepped up their game with their improved triple dipper. Everything about it was great from the sliders, to the chicken crispers and the mozzarella's. Although I was not much of a fan of the Nashville ones they were a bit too salty for my liking, I think next time I'll definitely get the honey chipotle. Also that southwest queso is still amazing just as I remembered!

Yelp
In today's day and age, it's really difficult to find the deals that you see at Chili's. I can see how people may get a bad experience but my family and I had a great experience. We will be coming back and trying out different menu items. Everything was delicious and the staff were friendly! I can't ask for much more
google avatar

Yelp
I've reviewed the Chili's in Hayward, and have had good experiences there, so decided to invite family to have lunch at the Santa Clara location. We ALL had a great meal. Service was prompt and friendly. Refills for our drinks was immediate. We each had the 3 for Me deal. Two of us had burgers, one had the chicken/bacon quesadilla, and another had the shrimp pasta. The 3 for Me deal comes with a starter, a drink, and an entree. Two of us had refreshing house salads, I had chicken enchilada soup, and one of us had chips and salsa (which is a BIG order!!). I chose the watermelon lemonade which was very refreshing. We all qualified for the senior 10% discount, too! Such a deal!

Yelp
Excellent, the food was good, nice serving people and the prices aren't too bad. I like this place.

Yelp
I've been to Chilis twice this year, and several times before when I lived on the east coast. Every time, I see the extensive menu with almost every item you can possibly think of ... and I'm always drawn to the same thing: Cajun chicken pasta. My love for Cajun chicken pasta is an extension of my love for interesting pastas as a whole - pastas that have sauces a little different from your standard marinara or pesto. Noodles are key to fusion cuisine, and despite what you may think, chilis does this quite well! If you like a little kick in your pasta but still want a taste of tomato (and of course... cheese!) you'll love this! Now that I've sold you on the main course, let me convince you not to skip the apps. Especially the fried egg roll. As an Asian person this egg roll is fire. Not authentic, but it's fire. Don't question it, just dip in the ranch and eat it. I've converted so many of my friends to be chilis people, and this meal did me justice.

Yelp
The bar seating area probably has my favorite vibe. Mozzarella sticks are amazing but have very steep diminishing returns. One is enough. How are their chicken strips so good? The plain and honey Chipotle are my favorite. I decided to go all out and order the BBQ platter recently. Knowing they aren't a barbecue joint, their baby back ribs beat my expectations. The brisket quesadillas were a sleeper hit.

Yelp
I love this chilis, not for the fact these are hard to come by but Chilis never disappoints, let's be real. The food smack, everyone loves their chips app with your favorite dip, and the drinks flow that all you're missing is a float inter tube and lazy river. Besides those grad features the staff are great, knowledgeable and are tentative to all of your needs. Shout out to our favorite server JT! He's quick, friendly and on top of the orders and checks in. We love his style and friendly approach with us and just easy to talk to and makes Chilis a second home type of vibe. Keep us the solid work my dude! I will be back again for the marg of the month, cheers!

Yelp
I really wanted to come here because I've never been and I feel like it's an important part of the American experience. The service was great and fast. There was a combo deal that I got so I got the Santa Barbara quesadillas, chili, and the lava cake. It was pretty good but the lava cake was too chewy. I loved the vibes inside. It felt so American and fun. The water was in beer mug shaped glasses.
google avatar

Yelp
Been going to this location pretty much weekly for about a year or so. 3 For Me was a great deal, I could even upgrade the soda to a House Marg for like $3. Loved it! Then they got rid of that. Oh well, at least the margaritas were still on happy hour, all day on Saturday and Sunday! And then follow that up with a $5 Modelo and I'm set. Then they got rid of weekend happy hour. Completely. 2 beers now cost more than 3 used to. No more 3 For Me margarita upgrades. It's not like Chili's is known for amazing food, but they had great deals. Had. Had great deals. Had me as a customer.
google avatar

Jasmine M.

Yelp
Always love a great chilis date. I will always order the 3 for me, just can't beat that deal! The food is always great.

Yelp
I hadn't been to chili's in at least twenty years, but I found myself on El Camino near Lawrence with a very picky but hungry ten year old, and figured something there would work. We walked in and were seated right away. The children's menu offered many options, and we were given a couple of papers with kid activities. Ten year really enjoyed the activities, but complained that there was a chili pepper to color but was only given a blue crayon. "Who ever heard of a blue chili pepper? What are they thinking?", the child complained, but happily colored it anyway. :) The child ordered the cheeseburger bites, which she really enjoyed, and seemed to have fun considering the various options. There were so many good options (pizza, chicken fingers, Mac and cheese, etc.) that she circled several and had a hard time deciding. Kids meals come with dessert too, so it was a good deal. I had the chipotle bowl, which was very good. The ingredients were fresh and flavorful. Even though it was busy, the food came surprisingly quickly. Staff was friendly and it felt clean. We'll definitely go back. Dining with children can be a headache, so having a place I know they'll like is a big win!

Yelp
Love this chili's! A timeless classic. Margarita's by the plentiful, triple dipper deals your bank account loves to see coming. Friendly staff & very quick service. Mozzarella sticks always come with a 10/10 cheese pull. Nachos & texas cheese fries are both a must try! Can't go wrong with spending your fajita friday at this location. Simple casual dining that never disappoints.
google avatar

Valerie M.

Yelp
Service is always great at this location and parking is plentiful, bring two football teams, your family reunion and the entirety of Santa Clara and there will still be some parking. Get the triple dipper and some drinks your welcome.
google avatar

Kevin M.

Yelp
Decent spot for a casual meal. The chicken nachos and chicken tortilla soup are my go-to favorites--they never disappoint. I also tried a burger, and it was just okay, nothing special. The staff was friendly, which made the experience better overall. It's a reliable option, but some dishes stand out more than others.

Denny S.

Yelp
The food was good, but the service was outstanding. They were busy, but we were seated within a couple of minutes.

Yelp
We went to Chili's to try the viral mozzarella sticks. We ended up ordering the Trio Platter. We chose the sliders, Nashville hot mozzarella sticks & Nashville hot boneless wings. We also ordered the skinny margarita. The margaritas & mozzarella sticks were the highlight. Everything else was so cold and did not seem fresh. It was an underwhelming experience. I will say our server was very nice and did a great job. Overall it seemed to be busy and people were there to watch the 49ers game. Would maybe return for margs & mozz sticks.

Yelp
It's been years since I've been to chilis, but really enjoyed the experience! It was nice to see that there were a lot of patrons there. I ordered the triple dipper and it was decent - wasn't amazing, but if you're craving some junk food, I think it would feel satisfying. I really like their chips and salsa and the queso dip was delicious. The restaurant was clean and spacious. But the service could get pretty slow when it's busy - hard to track down the server to ask for extra sauces or refills.
google avatar

Yelp
We came in for a weekend lunch. We ordered Fajitas with Chicken and Shrimp, Mexican Rice bowl and Chicken quesadilla. No frills, but everything tasted good. Quick service.

Yelp
Saw the "3 For Me" and thought we'd try it on a Saturday night. Called ahead, no wait for a party of two. Nice! Walked in with no wait, seated right away. Far back corner of the dining area, even though lots of seats in the middle...weird, but OK? Waited more than 10 minutes and nobody ever came to greet us, let us know it'd be a few minutes, or ask us if we wanted to order drinks/appetizers. It wasn't very busy and the server in our area looked at our table a few times. The hostess walked back to the back area, saw us and another server looked over the wall to our table. Again, nobody ever came over to check in on us once. We ended up just leaving. If they don't want our business, fine.
google avatar

Theresa R.

Yelp
Stopped by here and was pleasantly surprised! We were seated immediately without a reservation. The food came out within 5-10 minutes after we ordered, we were shocked how fast it came out and it was hot and fresh. This is rare these days even at upscale restaurants. Our server was attentive and kind, he made sure to check on us throughout the meal and was very accommodating. I highly recommend this location.
google avatar

Tracy T.

Yelp
After my boyfriend spent weeks begging to try out their "3 for me" deal, I finally acquiesced. And boy, do I regret not holding firm!! We had to move booths because the first one we were seated at was disgusting - sticky seats and the tabletop was filthy. Clearly not cleaned after the last party. The second booth STILL had sticky seats. Our server literally NEVER checked in on us. Not once. We never even got WATER! Of course, we had to try the "3 for me" deal and we literally only got 1 of 3 things in it. And the food tasted like it was made in a microwave - uneven heating and smelled of plastic. This was like, the worst dining experience we've ever had. Ever. Good god.

Yelp
Love this place! The staff is friendly and efficient. The food is very good and tasty. Their lunch specials are reasonable and you get a lot of food for your buck. The restaurant is clean and good ambiance. My friends and I celebrate our birthdays there every time and the staff is so accommodating.
google avatar

Yelp
My classmates and I visited this location for drinks after our class. The location slightly has a run-down feeling. There was a basketball game playing in the bar area and the TVs were reallyyy loud. I wish the volume was a tad bit lower for the other customers trying to have a nice dinner. We were a large party of 7 so they staff had to arrange a table for us. The staff was a little scattered and we had multiple employees approach us and ask us how many in our party. It weirdly felt like there wasn't a system for who would seat customers arriving. Our waitress actually ended up being great though. She was friendly and energetic. As a vegetarian I don't think I will be dining at a Chili's again because they have very little appealing options. They do have a vegetarian patty but it's a black bean patty and that's most vegetarians least favorite type of patty lol. I ended up getting the quesadilla explosion salad and it was decent. Definitely not the healthiest of salads but I enjoyed the citrus balsamic dressing. And my classmates enjoyed their frozen margaritas! I do like that we were able pay our tab on a tablet. It made splitting the tad so much easier. Overall, it was a decent experience.

Yelp
Had a great server and experience at this location I got my food exactly how I ordered it and it was delicious Thank you!
google avatar

Oje T.

Yelp
Our server Natalia is always amazing. She's friendly and attentive! The food is also consistently good. As for the ambience, they've got a good number of TVs playing various kinds of sports and it's quite a relaxed and casual atmosphere. I'd highly recommend this location.
google avatar

Carole B.

Yelp
We ate in the bar and ordered the three tri dip with chips, chicken tenders with fries and Mac and Cheese. Plus the chicken quesadilla. Everything tasted good. The bar was clean. The server was great! We got our order taken fast and the bar was half full. Our food was served shortly there after.

Yelp
I've stopped eating hamburgers for over a year now. But going here..... I had to ask myself why I did such a ridiculous thing!! Chilis has definitely put me back on the map with eating burgers. The Guac burger was EXCELLENT!!! OMG!! Forgot about the slogan - baby back ribs - GET YO BURGER ON should be the new slogan. Hands down one of the best burgers I've had thus far in the Bay Area.
google avatar

Lucius B.

Yelp
This is the location that put Chili's back into our regular rotation. Went there with my brother for lunch one day (last summer?), and was pleasantly surprised. I was going to order one of the lunch specials, but our server mentioned that the 3 for me was a much better deal. He was correct, and we've been bouncing back and forth between this one and Almaden ever since. In that time, we've had one bad experience where the server was really new and completely botched our orders. But the supervisor that day fixed everything to our satisfaction. And other than that one time, the food and service have been spot on.
google avatar

Arely D.

Yelp
The place was honestly pretty nice overall, not too fancy but clean and welcoming, and the staff were very polite and helpful without being overbearing which I really appreciated, they had a good way of checking in at the right time and making sure everything was going ok without hovering or rushing us, the food came out at a decent pace and everything we ordered was quite tasty, there was a balance of flavors that felt really well thought out even though the presentation wasn't overly flashy, the portions were decent too not too small but also not overwhelming and the whole vibe of the place felt comfortable and relaxed which made it easy to enjoy the meal, I liked that the menu had a good variety without being confusing or too much to take in, it's one of those spots where you can feel that the people working there care about what they do, even small touches like how they refilled drinks or checked back in after the food showed they really wanted us to enjoy the visit.

Kristine L.

Yelp
Got food to go. Unfriendly staff. The guac is so salty it's inedible. I do love Chili's salsa and it was good. My order did not include my "Big Mouth Bites". What do you do with that once you get home? I'm surprised this place stays in business.
google avatar

Michelle V.

Yelp
Prices are always good. The margarita of the month (something with coconut for $6) was way too sweet for my liking. The mozzarella sticks - more like chunks! - were so good! I will stick with my regular drinks going forward

Laurie B.

Yelp
Get better works that know what they are doing. They got our order wrong and the waitress tried arguing with us about it and then when we tried to pay they said we couldn't use Apple Pay and when we tried our card they said it declined and it was their machine cause we used a different card from the same bank and they used a different register and my card worked they just sucked all the way around I won't go back.

Yelp
Wonderful meal! Mom, daughter and I had lunch here today. The food was hot and delicious and the service was impeccable! For appetizers we had the chips and salsa and bone in wings with honey chipotle sauce. The chips were crispy and the salsa was very tasty! The wings were piping hot and covered with a sweet chipotle sauce. My mom and daughter loved them! Mom had the chicken tortilla soup which she said was very rich and tasty! Loved it! Daughter had the salmon and she enjoyed it very much! I had the 4 sliders and they were tasty and hot! We enjoyed our delicious meal very much! The service was wonderful! Every time the server walked by she would always politely check on us. Never an empty glass and always "Johnny on the spot"! I did not get her name but she was awesome! We will be back!

Yelp
It's been YEARS since I came to this location. Back in the day, it was super popular and always had a decent size wait list. Fast forward 10 years and it's a different story. I've been craving chicken nachos from Chilis so we came here to fulfill my chunky girl cravings. Right away I noticed plenty of open parking spots. Not typical of the Friday nights I remember. We walked in and all the stools at the bar were empty except one. Whaaaaat? Hostess wasn't very friendly but showed us to a small booth adjacent to the bar which was good for people watching and we could see the basketball game from there. There were several tables filled with families but also quite a few empties. Our table was sticky (gross) and the interior of the restaurant feels really dark and dated. Our server was friendly and our food came out quickly which is always a plus. What I don't like is the little iPad thing they have on the tables for you to pay on. It's just odd and ours had old food gunk on it so I don't think they get cleaned very often. Anyway, here's what we ordered: ICE TEA (plain & mango) - both were fine and our server kept them full. CHICKEN NACHO'S - these have been my go to since I was a teenager. I love that they're all individually layered so every bite has everything on it (beans, chicken, cheese, jalapeño) and I always top it with guacamole, sour cream and tons of their tangy salsa. Yum!! Sadly though, these were not the best I've had. The chips were almost burnt on the bottom and the cheese on the top was hard and some parts even had a crispy cheese skirt which is great on a burger but not on nachos that's simply a sign that someone forgot them in the oven or they sat to long under the warmer. Plus they were super salty. Boooooo! BIG MOUTH BITES - DELICIOUS! These were our favorite of the night. So much flavor and super juicy. The caramelized onions stole the show. I'd get these every time, they came with fries which I also thought were delicious. TRIPLE DIPPER - ordered these to take back to the parents. Southwest Egg rolls, Big Mouth Bites and Spicy Boneless Chicken Wings. I'm not a fan of the hard plastic To-go boxes. They don't keep the food warm and tend to turn crispy into soggy. Needless to say, the parents were appreciative. Would I rush back to this location? Nope. I think if corporate sunk some money into remodeling, they have a much better crowd. This is really the closest location other than Coleman or Mountain View.

Yelp
Wanted to write this for our waiter, Victor. His customer service was consistently great from beginning to end. I only like to leave reviews if I have some really good things to say or the occasional bad review if it's worth it for me. In this case, it's fortunately the first reason. Victor was so helpful, patient, kind, respectful, reassuring, welcoming, showed pride in his job & had a big smile on his face every time he came to our table. It's refreshing to see when people seem to genuinely enjoy their job like we saw with Victor. It was me, my husband, his 15 year old daughter & our 18 month old son. We all, both as a family & individually, genuinely enjoyed our experience because of Victor and would definitely come back for his service alone. Since we paid cash, we weren't able to leave a review on the tablet like we wanted to, so hoping this can still get to his management team somehow. Not only did we appreciate his service, but the food & recommendations he made when asked questions were all on point. Everything was delicious. I'm not sure why this place has less than 3 stars (haven't read the reviews on here to be fair), but I will just say as for me & my family, we are grateful our time at this location turned out nicely. I hope his management team & coworkers recognize just how blessed they are to have a wonderful young man like him on their team. Anyway, thank you Victor for your hospitality tonight! Had our bellies full & it truly felt like we were just friends coming over for dinner. You have a natural way to ensure those you provide service to are comfortable & well taken care of to the best of your ability. @CHILI'S MANAGEMENT: PLEASE FIGHT TO GIVE THIS HARDWORKING MAN A RAISE! HIS EXPERIENCE ALONE WILL BRING CUSTOMERS BACK, NO DOUBT :)

Justin ..

Yelp
Didn't eat the food this time so this is purely on the service. Went in at 8:50, thinking we will just sit at the bar and eat. The bartender says, we are closing in 15 min. We asked, "I thought you are closing at 9:30", he shrugged and said, "eh same thing". I didn't realize 9:10 is same as 9:30. So we waited for the table got seated at 9:05, person came by and asked for order, I ordered classic margarita, he said "oh our bar is closing at 9:30 so you can't order any alcohols". Like what? Can you not make two drinks in 25 minutes? So we left and ate somewhere else. Please do operate within the time that you said you are operating. If I sat and started drinking. At 8:50, easily could had few drinks by 9:30 ‍

Yelp
The beer was at a good price, $3.00 for a 16 glass. This surprised me since I do not go out to eat often. The food was decent and the waitress brought it soon after I ordered.

Yelp
Place is super cold, seems like they have the AC on full blast. The food got cold fast because of this. The waiter assumed that we did not pay (we paid cash left it on the table). When confronted waiter said, "I didn't see it on the table." I feel like the waiter could have first checked before running out and grabbing us.

Yelp
This review is purely for drinks here during happy hour. I've been continuing my alcoholic streak and checking out happy hours at different restaurants. I think I might have hit the jackpot on the best happy happy deal here at Chili's. There's a big selection of cocktails for only $5-6. The drinks are also moderately strong and not super sweet. List of drinks that I've tried so far - Presidente margarita - $6. Came in shaker bottle and you can pour it yourself. Tasted like a classic margarita. - Long island iced tea - $5. Nicely blended, not too sweet, and still taste alcoholic. - Lucky Jameson - $5 margarita for March. Kind of tasted like typical margarita and I couldn't really tell that there was Irish whiskey in it. - Tropical sunrise margarita - $5. I really liked it! Usually tropical drinks are overly sweet at other places, but you can actually taste the alcohol in this marg, and the pineapple juice is subtle and not overwhelming. - Blue Cuervo margarita - $6. Tasted like an almost familiar fruit punch that I've must had from somewhere. Pretty good. The service here was good, and we were able to order and get our drinks quickly, even though the restaurant can get very lively on weekdays and weekends alike!

Yelp
Been here a couple times and I am definitely impressed. The service was outstanding, wonderful waiters and waitresses. The food was a true bargain, wow, compared to how ridiculous other places have gotten with overcharging, this place is so reasonable. And the food is really very good for the price!! I loved my chicken enchiladas soup, my bacon cheeseburger and fries were delicious, and I got a Miller lite, which was very refreshing. Overall, this place ROCKS and I will be back, maybe even weekly!!

Yelp
Food quality has really tanked. They recently changed their quesadillas. Used to be a sizable one and now it looks like they make quesadillas from mini flour tortillas so that you end up with a bunch of little triangles. Hardly any meat or cheese. I ordered the brisket quesadillas. The size of the order was something that belonged on the child menu. They were filled with a bunch of sauce, and the cheese was not even melted. Absolutely disgusting and inedible. I highly recommend that you skip the quesadillas.

Yelp
I came at 10:15pm and they had locked the doors. They weren't accepting anymore people inside. There were three other people outside wanting to be helped. We were ignored. Terrible.

Yelp
I appreciate they're open quite late (10 or 10:30pm) which is rare these days. Food is always great with really reasonable prices. I come here at least twice a month because it's close to where I live. I know they are short staffed both on the floor and the kitchen, so I can't really complain. But service could be slightly better. They come quickly for asking drinks, but after that, it's almost like they don't wanna take your food orders. So many times they dismiss your signs. If you are coming in real hungry, I'd recommend order them right away with your drinks. *Regular hours could be fine. And if you drink, they say Mountain View one serves better alcohol beverages and it might be true. This place I hear "we can't do this and that tonight" kind of thing. Other than that, It's still my late night guilty pleasure dinner and I'm coming back any time soon.
