Much as I’d like to give Chilito’s Jamexican Food a three, the food here is genuinely delicious and relatively healthy, which earns it a higher rating. I usually order the bowl (rice, beans, plantains, ackee, salad, etc.), and it’s consistently flavorful—very much like a Jamaican take on Chipotle. The main drawback is the wait time, which can be unpredictable. The kitchen manages dine-in, pickup, and delivery orders, which likely explains it. On one occasion, after a long wait, my “freshly made” bowl was served cold. However, credit where it’s due—the staff member (possibly a manager) demonstrated excellent emotional intelligence and customer service, addressed the issue immediately, and replaced it with a warm, freshly made bowl. Overall, this is a great spot with quality food. The wait—anywhere from 10 to 20+ minutes—seems to be part of the experience. I’d recommend ordering online for pickup or dining in to avoid delays. Drinks are always solid, bartenders are friendly (though drinks can be a bit sweet at times). Good food, solid value—just plan for the wait.

I was open to the experience, but I’m not really a fan of Jamaicans making Mexican food. The finger food here was good. I tried the ackee quesadillas — they were good at first, but after a few bites, I was over it. Drinks were on point.

This is a cool chill spot to go out with friends/family/on a date. There is seating where you can relax and eat. It gives outdoorsy, chill vibes. This is a good place to go when you are craving a different type of food, a different type of flavour. The food was delicious. There is a decent variety of food of different textures and flavours,lots of room to mix and match. You can make your order online and have your food delivered to you or you pick it up yourself. Overall eating here was a different and fun experience.

Chilitos was a good experience. It was my first time being there and it wasn't crowded perhaps because it was an ordinary Monday. The atmosphere was chill. The food was good even though my nachos were a bit too salty. There is sufficient parking space and the menu has a variety of options. 7/10 recommend.

My first time having Chilitos after being recommended by a friend. Whilst the food was nice, with good portion sizes, the poor customer service and the ridiculous wait times ruined my experience. There is no reason for take-away to take 30+ mins with only 2 other people in the queue. I understand the establishment takes orders online and through Krave but burritos and bowls are one of the simpler things to dish, for example chipotle- it’s a very simple set up that allows for quick and efficient service without impacting food quality. Rude and unprofessional staff should not sit on the main desk accepting orders it just brings down the experience.

Overall, it was an okay experience. I enjoyed the chimichangas the most. Everything else lacked flavor or needed salt. Out of everything, I suggest that if you've never had a burrito before, don't order it. The hot and cold with the different tastes and the rice being fresh left my taste buds confused and wondering what was going on. Our waitress was nice and attentive, so she was able to provide wonderful service.
