Chill Since '93

This was Focaccia bread with toppings. It really felt like I was eating toast. Decorated toast but it’s not pizza. It shouldn’t be on any pizza list at all. Love the unique concept.

We recently dined at Chill Since ’93 and really enjoyed it. We ordered the Cheese, Patate pizza and loved the potato twist - it was unique and delicious. The pizza itself was excellent, and the olive oil and balsamic on the table were a great touch. They also had some cool merchandise available to purchase. Can’t wait to go back and try more items from their menu!

I know this cafe as I’ve been informed from TikTok that they collaborate with Brandy . I would say this is one of the best cafe I been to in LA. If you’re a brandy fan I would highly recommend to come to this cafe. The location is good and safe and also just next to Brandy. The beverages aren’t that pricey I ordered a matcha chai latte which is beyond my expectation and just cost me 6.50 dollars which is affordable for me. I also ordered a personal pizza Arugula prosciutto which has 4 pcs in the box. You can also get the brandy sticker from the cafe as well :).

Great selection of sandwiches and pizza! Also enjoyed how many drink options they had. The seating area was very crowded so we did get our food to go!

The prosciutto arugula menu item might be the best thing I’ve ever had. I constantly re-create it at home. Friendly staff, and I love the aesthetic interior design overall.

My girlfriend and I are originally from Texas and decided to grab pizza while visiting the area. This was our first time at The Grove, and we were immediately greeted by Erick, who made our experience exceptional. He recommended the Spicy Soppressata Slice, and it was honestly one of the best pizzas we’ve ever had. What really stood out was Erick’s kindness—even though they were closing, he graciously allowed us to dine in and enjoy our meal. His hospitality and welcoming attitude made the whole visit memorable. If you’re looking for great pizza and even better service, this is the place. Thank you, Erick!

The experience at the Chill Since 93 pizza shop and cafe is like no other. The food is top notch for great prices and comes to the table pretty quickly too. I have never had a bad server here. They all lead with such kindness! They always make sure I’m enjoying my food and my overall experience here. The seating area is always clean, and there are enough tables for everybody/any size party. Did I mention the drinks? They’re crafted so carefully, and over all they are creative and one of a kind with their drink menu, which is also true for their food menu. Highly recommend this place, especially in the warmer months because their outside seating is beautiful!

I absolutely adore the pizza and matcha here!! Zoey and all the other works are so sweet and genuinely give us such great service, me and my friends always come here when we’re in town and i always dream about the food, hopefully there will be more locations soon I’d love to be here more often!

Wow. Just wow. Probably the best pizza I've had in a very long time. We got 3 different pizzas. $10 for each personal pizza. Comes with 4 small squared slices, but honestly you get full. We ordered the classic pepperoni, a classic cheese pizza and the spicy soppressata. The cheese pizza was delicious! Cheese melted as you cut off the slices, and gives you that nice string cheese moment. Pepperoni pizza was also very good, they are not stingy with the pepperoni's. My favorite was the spicy sopressata (because I love spicy foods) everything about this pizza was perfect. It wasn't too spicy, if I had to put on a scale from 1-10 of spiciness I would say it's like a 5 for me. Ambiance was pretty chill, we went closer to their closing time so it wasn't busy at all. But maybe because we went on a Thursday. Heard it gets crazy packed on the weekends. Overall definitely recommend! Oh we also got the triple chocolate cookie and that was delicious as well!

This is my new top 5 favorite spots to get lunch. You can self checkout at the kiosks, if you're paying with card, or doing take-out. If you're paying cash just wave a server down they'll ring you up on a different kiosk.. They have a bakery section I have yet to try but it always looks so good, their cookies are MASSIVE. PIZZA: average $10/pizza I always get their Spicy Soppressata pizza, it's a personal size pizza cut into 4 slices. The hot meter I give it a 8/10 but I also add extra hot honey because it's delicious so why not. It compliments the soppressata very well. I also get the Potato pizza, it taste like a French fry pizza, I usually add hot honey to this one too, I dont know what it is but this pizza needs SOMETHING on it, not that its not good, its just lacking a flavor but if you love potato this is your pizza its crispy, salty, & has some cheese melted on it too. They also sell larger portion pizza for family style sharing! Ok now to the drinks, which Is where I took a star away. I always get the Shirley temple , & an ice matcha latte. The first time I got the Sherley temple, it came with 2 cherries at the bottom of the cup, since then Its never been made that way. The ice matcha latte lets you pick your sweetness level, & if you want it iced/hot. I always go iced + extra sweet. However each time I get the ice matcha, it taste different. It's either not sweet at all, & all you taste is powder, or it's perfect but it's always a hit or miss. So for the inconsistency on the drink quality and how it's made, presentation and taste wise, I took a star away. The ambiance is always clean, tables have everything you need within reach. Patio seating is also offered & they have heaters as well. TIP: they have a balsamic glaze sauce situation that im obsessed with, drizzle it over your pizza & you're good to go. but save some for me! Bathrooms as well, & merch for sale its super cute & trendy. They're located right next to the Brandy Melville store, so their merch reminds me of their type of clothes. Will I continue to come here? ABSOLUTELY :) see you on my next day off! also just found out they deliver on DOORDASH?1?!? So for the days I cant make it in, rest assured ill be ordering from home :)

Tried the country sandwich, it was great! Definitely big enough for two people or two meals. The star markdown was for lack of communication at the counter when they were short-staffed and you then have to order via kiosk....a very pricey sandwich that doesn't include parking validation. So not only do you end up with a nearly $30 lunch (with a drink), but then $10 to park unless you're doing takeout. Then it's less. If the Grove wants to keep regular, local residents in play then the convenience of parking needs to be in play.

Pulled up to Chill Since '93 and wow, everything we tried hit. We ordered a margherita pizza, cheese pizza, the caprese sandwich, bresaola arugula, and the mortadella burrata: every single one was fresh and flavorful. The pizzas had that perfect thin, crispy crust with just enough chew; the caprese was super bright with fresh mozz and basil; and the mortadella burrata was creamy and savory. Service was on point: they recommended the special sandwiches to me and I'm glad I listened because they really stood out. Vibe was good with plenty of tables and a cozy atmosphere. 10/10 solid spot if you're waiting for your girl to shop at Brandy.

Either I got really lucky, or their pizza pans are just the perfect size. Every slice I had came with an amazing, crispy edge! Fair warning the Spicy Soppressata ($10.95) is actually spicy!! The calabrian chili peppers bring all the heatt, though you can easily remove this topping. The salami was well-cured and salted (slightly saltier for my personal preference, but not overwhelming). On a scale of thin to thick crust, their slice is a good in between. Leaving a dough with chew, airiness, and crisp bottoms. Service on a Friday afternoon was very quick, my slice served within 5 minutes of ordering! I'll have to try their desserts on my next trip, the cookies looked thick and loaded, although a bit pricier ($5+), they might be worth it.

I lovee the brandy cafe it's so cute but it's usually very crowded and sometimes takes a bit to get your food. The food is really good though I love the pizzas and they are the perfect size

All this cutesy coastal-feeling love shack needed was great pizza. I waiting 20 minutes for a slice with overdone pepperoni and slightly overcharred crust. Not enough cheese. I can't imagine ordering a whole pie constructed this way. If I come back, I would love to see more specialty slice options. Very lackluster overall. The price is acceptable for The Grove. It's very much a teen scene, and I love that for them.

This place has amazing sandwiches and pizza. Dare I say one of the best pizza places in LA? The wait really depends on whether or not you walk in during their rushes. Sometimes I wait 10-15 min and sometimes I wait 30-35. Either way it's worth the wait. Their prices for the portion sizes are affordable and the complimentary olive oil n balsamic vinegar really elevates your whole meal here!

Chilli Since 93 was a very pleasant find! We are visiting LA for the first time and we're walking around The Grove which has shops, restaurants and an AMC Movie Theater. We decided after roaming around that Chilli would be our lunch choice. The service was great as we were greeted immediately. The way this place work is seat yourself and the staff will come to you to order your food. This place is a pay first then you get your food place be prepared to pay once you have placed your order. The pizza was fresh, and had a great flavor. The amount of pepperoni is soooooo darn good! We ordered Pepperoni Slice (one with very very light cheese) and an Arugula and Prosciutto Slice. The location is nice, you do have to pay for parking at The Gove. Also, Chilli while we were there kept the tables cleaned and ready for the next guests. I recommend a stop here and hope you enjoy it as much as we did. See you soon Chilli!

Great atmosphere for a quick bite in the grove. Indoor and outdoor seating. Square, thick crusted pizza. Plenty of prosciutto and arugula! Flavorful sauce, crisp crust. Dine in or to go option.

Unexpectedly, a fan! For $10 each, we were all full and some of us took home leftovers. The food was tasty They have some seating inside and a covered and lit patio outside. It has a very relaxed and casual vibe that truly suits The Grove.

Went on a mini pizza tour today near the Groove. Had to get the cookie. It honestly tasted ok. Felt like it was missing something. Good size. Not really sweet. Combo of soft and hard. 3/5 Pizza was good. 4/5. Nothing spectacular but good. Made fresh and all but felt like it was missing that last star. Nice vibe inside. From what I was told you can only eat inside if you order in. Friendly staff.

I really enjoyed this place. I ordered the pepperoni pizza; my friend ordered the chicken Sandwich. There were a few tables inside the small restaurant with the majority of the tables in an outside seating area. It was a nice morning, we chose to sit outside. Our server was cordial. I thought my Pizza was excellent, but I thought my friend's chicken sandwich was good but somewhat bland. For what we paid, I thought the portions were generous. I would definitely go back there!

One of the male workers is always in a bad mood and he has no customer service skills whatsoever. I don't know how he's still hired because he's been rude EVERY SINGLE TIME I'VE COME. They don't have a consistent matcha recipe so they come out grainy and the matcha to milk ratio is OFF EVERY TIME! I asked for more matcha because they didn't add the normal amount compared to the rest of the lattes I've seen, but the worker said it's one serving only (which I understand) but how are you going to claim that when your "servings" are never consistent????

I highly recommend Chill Since 93 if you're near or at The Grove. Great for an inexpensive but tasty meal. You can order pizza by the slice or whole, and they do make focaccia sandwiches as well. I tried their Patate slice and its cut into 4 slices for $10. The crust was crispy and it was seasoned well. The matcha latte was good as well. Their outdoor seating feels like you're eating on a picnic table and it's definitely a vibe. If you're dining in, staff will give you a number and you can sit anywhere. They will bring out the food to you.

Needed something easy to grab-and-go for takeout at the Grove and heard that this is from Brandy Melville. With a good amount of seating both indoors and outdoors, the place was definitely busy for Sunday lunch, as it is a good place for a casual meetup. I ordered through the kiosk and decided on the patate pizza, since it isn't something you see often. While I was waiting, there was self serve water to the side. My order was brought out hot and neatly packaged. The patate pizza is definitely worth a try. The crust was crispy and loved the olive oil and crispy potato on the top but also the softer potatoes underneath - great texture and flavor. Overall, the place lives up to its name serving up chill vibes and staff seemed pretty nice.

i feel like this place is lowkey a hidden gem at the grove! they have really cute merch and the most delicious focaccia sand which! lots of seating and friendly staff! sandwich was delish and still dream about the next time i'll get it again. was super fresh and warm. the focaccia and prosciutto was nicely crisped and complimented well with the hot honey sauce and the arugula and cheese. highly recommend stopping by if your at the grove looking for a more casual eating experience!

Hands down one of the best pizza spots I've tried! I ordered the potato pizza (trust me--just do it), and my kids got classic pepperoni. My son had his with hot honey drizzled on top, and he's still talking about it. Every bite was fresh, flavorful, and made with love. The vibes in here are immaculate--great music, cool atmosphere, and chill energy all around. Definitely our new go-to pizza spot. Run, don't walk ! (I ate it so fast I didn't take any pics :(..)

this was my first time checking this place out and i will def be going again! im usually scared to try matcha since i like a specific taste to my lattes but omg it was so well made here! it did take a while to receive my order but i didnt mind the wait at all since its really cute and nice inside. didnt really interact with any of the workers there but im not too upset about it since its the grove and it obviously gets busy! overall good experience

I got an oatmilk latte and it was creamy and smooth. They ONLY serve oatmilk at this establishment. Some fun merchandise you can buy and also desserts.

I was at the grove for the Nike after dark tour and needed to carb load. I found this cute place in search of See's and immediately went in. I got the Patate pizza with burrata. It's kinda like a scalloped potato pizza. A personal is $10 and very filling. You can dine in in their cozy place and take in some people watching. Everyone was very friendly and service was great.

Overall great experience, it's a nice spot to take a break from shopping and grab a bite to eat! Love the overall vibes, it's very true to the brand! We all got a slice to eat and we all loved it, the favorite being the patate slice. Even the guy helping us mentioned it was his favorite and we could see why, we had never tried anything like it and all the different flavors were delicious. Service was amazing, they gave us plenty of time and didn't rush us even though it was quite busy! The only "surprise" factor was that when I got the margherita slice I wasn't expecting for the cheese to be cold, which was probably my mistake for not asking but I wish it mentioned it on the menu! Still a great slice though, it was really refreshing and surprisingly light but still filling! We parked at the farmers market and just walked over as we planned to do some shopping! Worked out perfectly and we got the parking validated when we purchased stuff at the market

Tucked in the corner past the OVO store is a unique casual pizza spot. Pizza slices are served on focaccia and are huge. The zucchini flowers was delicious. While it was very busy, service was still prompt and team members friendly.

Upsetting. Ordered a whole pizza via DoorDash and the pizza came cold, not freshly baked. The cheese was solid versus when it's freshly made! There's no way the pizza that's freshly baked straight from oven would have gotten cold like that. I don't live far from the location. SMH. Prince pizza is located further and their pizza comes delivered to us hot! SMH.

This is a place at the Grove shopping plaza towards the end of Lala land Café! This place gets super busy because I'm guessing that this is the only affordable restaurant at the shopping plaza lol. I definitely will not get the cookie again. It was super hard, and the flavor was mid. However, what's worth getting is the half sandwich! I got the beef one which was super good with the arugula! The staff here are teens and definitely worth not getting the drinks, but I was interested in soft serve!

I've always seen this place all over social media so I was excited to try it out! The service was pretty quick considering it was a little packed and the workers are super friendly! The ambiance is pretty chill tbh considering it's at the grove. I got a Pepperoni Slice and it was DELICIOUS!!!! Super crispy and flavorful. I loved that each table had olive oil cuz i dipped some of my pizza bread in it and it was soooo good. I also ordered a Matcha latte but the server accidentally ordered me a chai and then the chai was gross very bland. But overall, I'll be returning! The pizza was too good.

We went here for dinner after visiting the grove to see the giant Christmas tree. They have many outdoor tables and a few indoor ones that are reserved for people who are dining in. It was a bit confusing at first because they didn't have a check-in stand, but we were able to get seated quickly. We ordered 3 pizza slices to share between 2 people - the spicy soppresata, arugula and prosciutto and patate with sausage. It was a good amount of food to share and we were both full by the end. Outdoor seating is dog friendly. We parked at the farmers market and got validation by purchasing something in the market.

Just like in the name, it is very chill. Their QR menu had photos of each item which was very helpful and it had plenty to choose from. This was our second time here. Today we had their pepperoni personal pizza which we shared, we got two slices each from the personal pizza which I think is great! Love eating here when we visit the grove. My only complaint is that it is hard to get a staff's attention to be seated. Other than that, it's great!

Delicious! Delicious! Delicious! Zucchini slices were yum!! The cookies are so good too! They warm it up if you want, which is just the best way to eat their cookies. Staff are friendly and attentive. They come out to clean up the outside sitting area.

Such a pleasant surprise ! Came in with our daughter who really wanted to have a quick lunch at the brandi Melville cafe she heard about so much I had low expectations but was very pleasantly surprised . We ordered the mortadella burrata focaccia (half sandwich ) which was really tasty and quite large for a half portion . This one was 4.2/5 Daughter ordered the cheese pizza slice which was also quite good - it was a grandma style pizza and was very tasty !(although this is not my favourite pizza style ) Daughter also tried the cold mocha and was pleasantly surprised . Said it was one of the best she had This is a really cute place , and the menu looks awesome . Recommended !!

Solid sandwich and pizza spot tucked in the corner of the Grove. Portions are quite large with the sandwiches (photo pictures just one half) and pizza slices come with four small squares of the pizza. Very nice setting with ample picnic tables/patio seating. Mellow music such as the Beatles played in the background when we were there. All the servers were very friendly and helpful but the service was a tad on the slow side. Just a FYI if you order coffee the only milk option is oat milk.

Stopped by on a Friday around noon. Ordered off a kiosk, and pizza came out about 10-15min later. The pizza was delicious, and the crust was nice and crunchy. My one complaint is this suffered from one of my big pet peeves, where the full top layer comes off with your first bite leaving you with a bare crust. Maybe that's just the spicy sopprresata that I got but it was a bummer. Overall I'd definitely come back. Price point is perfect. Ambiance is what it is, you're dealing with the grove crowd lol

I think I want to start off with the service. It was impeccable. They were so attentive and so nice. Very chill (hehe). This place is great for a quick bite. We got the chicken sandwich, a few pizzas, and their amazing focaccia bread (chef's kiss). They tend to get busy during lunch time. We went there right before lunchtime so was seated immediately but there is definitely a wait as you near lunch hour.

It took a minute but I was finally able to come back and try this place again and we were so happy that it was even better than the first time. Their sandwiches are perfection, amazing mortadella, quality burrata and the best part is the bread. Their house made bread is amazing (for the sandwiches and pizza), it's perfectly light, crispy, and delicious. Their mortadella burrata sandwich is 10x better than all antico vinao, in every way possible. Their pepperoni pizza is really good, comparable to prince st. Pizza, just not at heavy and the bread is slightly different. I love how thin and crispy the pepperoni is, and really love that the bread isn't so heavy and greasy. If you haven't been here yet, I highly recommend it, and to be honest this is the best place to eat at the grove by a mile! Only thing I wouldn't recommend is the cookie, we tried the walnut chocolate chip cookie and it was pretty bad, we barely even ate it because it was not good and so not worth the calories, barely any chocolate, seemed almost burnt, one of the worst cookies I've ever had. Makes me think I should stick to the savory items here.

It's hard to stand out in a field of great pizza shops in Los Angeles, but Chill Since 93 definitely does. I was super impressed by their Potato pizza -- tasted like rosemary potato chips, but in pizza form?! So good, I'd come back just for that. Pizza dough was perfectly cooked, with large pieces of potato and generous seasoning. Located in the Grove, it is definitely busy, but I'd brave the hordes of tourists to come again. Order at the counter and take a number placard.

We ordered pizza and a chocolate chip cookie warmed up we got a hard cookie I go and asked to get it replaced and Jr said "you ate it and laughs I said no I split it in half and proceeded like if like I was lying or something pizza was amazing jrs customer service was not

We've been coming here for a couple years and have noticed a couple of changes. It was one of our favorite places to go for a quick bite without breaking the bank. The good: Pizza crust is light and tasty, casual atmosphere, can get something for two people around $20-30. Mostly fresh ingredients. What's changed: The personal pie's have gotten smaller over time but remain the same price. Most recently it seems like they changed the cheese on the pizza to be much less fresh. It tastes very processed like it's almost not on par with the rest of the ingredients. Something for management to consider!

Very yummy! We tried a sandwich and pizza at Chill Since '93. The sandwich had quite a kick a bit too spicy for my friend, but I really enjoyed it. The pizza was fresh and flavorful, making it a great spot for casual bites with friends.

Such a unique spot to eat! Everything we've tried so far has been delicious! The wait for food can be kindof long depending on how crowded it is, but the freshness of the food makes up for it! They have a good amount of seating outside, so we never had a problem finding a place to sit after ordering. And the price you can't beat for the size of the food! Highly recommend if you are looking for upscale food on a budget!!

As a huge matcha fan, the matcha was mid. Nothing special at all. Would have appreciated more flavor and a better texture as it seemed just watered down. Not the worst I've had though! The wait was insanely long though and there was no seating since it was packed. It took 20 minutes... for a mid matcha. which is why i had to take it down from 3 to 2

Best Pizza in Los Angeles !!!! All the pizzas, sandwiches, and dessert my friends and I had was delicious. Portions are an excellent size. Definitely recommend the tiramisu and soft serve for dessert. Their matcha was super yummy & refreshing. The staff is super friendly, welcoming, and attentive. Overall great atmosphere - clean tables, fun wall art, decor, and merch. Got a few bottles of olive oil for myself and parents, makes a great useful gift :) Definitely will be having lunch here as a regular occurrence!

Wasn't expecting much from this place, but it was amazing! The slice is so generously loaded with pepperoni. They also gave us a brownie instead of a cookie, but ended up letting us have both!

Food was perfect. I got a sandwich and it was huge. I probably could have gotten the half because it was so ginormous!!! It was all amazing. Good choice to have balsamic glaze and pepper flakes on the table. Quite a bit of outdoor seating too. Pretty expensive, but it is in the grove. Thanks guys.

Everything I got here was so good! I'll definitely be coming back. The matcha and lemonade were both great drinks for their price, and everything I tried was amazing. The vibe inside the place was also super cute, with merch for purchase, olive oil at every table, and an outdoor seating area. I'm only giving it 4 stars because the system for ordering food was a little confusing. You order from the kiosk if you want to take out a to go order, and wait to be seated if you want to dine in. However there aren't too many workers around and the place is a little small so it can get a little disorganized.
