Went to celebrate my bfs birthday. We ordered appetizers (stated we wanted to eat together) yet my pumpkin soup came and his jerk chicken quesadillas came way after the soup was finished. No complimentary water (when we looked at other tables, no water was observed on their tables either).Food and drinks overall was good... No complaints there (we both had the Murray's curry goat, reggae mix drink and Sunset cocktail). Waitress was polite, however only the delayed with the food.
Informed server that it was his birthday, however just to let patrons know we were charged for the sparkled candle ($500.00) in addition to the bread pudding ($1300)- no discounts, no happy birthday writing... Server did tell us prior it would come at a cost... They played a song request for us which was nice.
I rated this a 2/5 simply because going to other restaurants where they value celebrants and they also have competitive prices and similar to better ambiance, I expected a higher standard of service and mindfulness especially after having a full course meal. More consideration could have been given.
Nonetheless we weren't cheapskates as we still gave over a standard tip.
