At their previous location in Barrio Yungay, the couple became known for their specialty: pulmay, a Chiloé-style soup enriched by pork ribs, longaniza, potatoes, chicken, clams, and two types of Chilean mussels. The daily chalkboard menu of southern dishes features items like caldillo de mariscos (shellfish soup), a creamy pastel de jaiba (crab pie), and fried empanadas de cochayuyo (a stew of Chilean seaweed). Congrio was very oily, but fries were oilier. I do not know if it was just me who received fries like that, but do not recommend. My score actually goes to the empanada, I would've rather eaten 2 or 3 of those, they were amazing. In fact it's the best empanada jaiba-queso (crab cheese) I've ever had. Absolutely recommend it.

Friendly service and nice vibe. We were disappointed in the food though. Sea-food empanada was too salty and cold in the middle. The pastel de Jaiba was pretty good. The ceviche was fresh but not too flavorful.

A true family restaurant. Three generations of our family dined here and had a wonderful evening enjoying well-prepared local (Chiloe) cuisine. Thank you for making us feel so welcome!

The place is cosy and the staff is very welcoming. However, the food wasn’t the best in taste. We ordered the typical dish where the mussels were not really fresh and it had a weird taste in general - the waiters changed the dish for us.

I went here with some friends a couple weeks ago. They told me the food was really nice but the tables were sparce so I arrived earlier to grab a table. The beer was warm at best and they did not write down my plate, so I had to watch my friends eat while they awkwardly tried to enjoy their food. I have to mention they also brought the wrong beer for one of my friends which was also warm. Might give this place another chance but I left really disappointed. Terrible service.
