The 19 Best Mexican Restaurants In Seattle

"The next time anybody tells you Seattle doesn’t have good burritos, blindfold them, put them in the backseat of your car, and take them to Chilolos in Georgetown. The best thing that Chilolos serves is their grilled burrito with carnitas, which forces us to cancel our plans to eat here before they close at 6pm. In each bite, you’ll get some red rice, tender chunks of carnitas, pinto beans, and the ideal amount of sour cream and pico de gallo—all of the elements perfectly distributed like a parent packing Christmas stockings for twin toddlers. Your friends will thank you for the introduction—after forgiving you for blindfolding them." - aimee rizzo, kayla sager riley

The Best Burritos In Seattle - Seattle - The Infatuation

"Chilolos in Georgetown makes our favorite burrito in town because all of the elements are layered flawlessly, from fluffy rice and pinto beans to crisp romaine and outstanding carnitas. Then, they grill the whole thing to melt the cheese, seal the toppings in, and toast that tortilla to its full potential." - Aimee Rizzo

Where To Go When You’re Hungover And Want To Die - Seattle - The Infatuation

Chilolos - Review - Georgetown - Seattle - The Infatuation

"The next time anybody tells you Seattle doesn’t have good burritos, blindfold them, put them in the backseat of your car, and take them to Chilolos, a Mexican spot in Georgetown. The best thing that Chilolos serves is their grilled burrito with carnitas, which forces us to cancel our plans to eat here before they close at 6pm. In each bite, you’ll get some red rice, tender chunks of carnitas, pinto beans, and the ideal amount of sour cream and pico de gallo - all of the elements perfectly distributed like a parent packing Christmas stockings for twin toddlers. Sure, the al pastor isn’t as flavorful as other spots in town, and they sadly sell out of chorizo or carnitas by 1pm sometimes. But you should come here to eat cheese and meat-stuffed tortillas that could rule the world. Your friends will thank you for the introduction—after forgiving you for blindfolding them. photo credit: Erin Lodi" - Aimee Rizzo

The mulitas killled. Some of the best mulitas i've ever had. The home made tortillas guac and cheese melt together with the meat to make a perfect symphony of flavors. 8/10 on the tacos, meat was well seasoned and the tortilla was flavorful, just wished the salsa was verde or had a little bit more of the chipotle flavor present.

This is hands down, the greatest Mexican food in Seattle WA. It is like being transported to Guadalajara! 10 stars!

First time here, got a classic burrito with carnitas. Really good flavors, like the grilled outside. Will return.

Order at this place for the first time and I got Chorizo it was ok and the green sauce sucks and was like a water down sour sauces with no spiciness in it. It would have been better if the green sauce was more thick and spicier. So when I eat have my chorizo with the sauce together all I taste is full of sourness in my mouth.

I have had the chicken burrito and it is so tasty. Nice chunks of braised meat and they cook the side on the griddle too. Simple but flavorful!

I was disappointed to learn they no longer sell tacos :( Thats really what I came here for. Still, the al pastor burrito was tasty. Cheese was very light, which is good because in my opinion cheese doesnt go well with al pastor. Could have skipped the potatoes, too. The hot sauce was good, but Id have perferred a green sauce with al pastor. I didnt ask, so maybe they have it. Service was very fast. Interior is small but clean. No dine in due to coivid at this time.
