"Let’s play a game of word association. You want to look lit, hot, flame emoji... can you see where we’re going with this? Chiltern Firehouse is a restaurant and hotel in Marylebone that has a reputation for attracting the rich and famous. You know, those people who have to insure their own body parts and accompanying leather jean collection. And that could be you. For a night anyway. Be warned, this place is pricey and you’ll need to book ahead, but it’s worth it if you’re after somewhere to get a bit schmoozy in your Sunday best with a high chance of some celebrity spotting. The only way to get a dinner reservation before 9pm is by booking weeks in advance (reservations open roughly two months ahead). But the real hack is calling and asking if they have any last-minute cancellations the week you want to go—it’s worked for us on multiple occasions." - heidi lauth beasley, rianne shlebak
"“A one stop shop in terms of a night out in London. When it hits that time in the evening, you can order the grilled cheese and the fried chicken in the bar area. When I was training for Uncharted, my character had to be a flair bartender. So back in the day when I was drinking, I used to spend a lot of time at Chiltern and became very close with the bar staff. When it was quieting down, I would go behind the bar, put the white tuxedo jacket on and make drinks for people. It was a good time. I've got some videos that will never see the light of day.” The only way to get a dinner reservation before 9pm is by booking weeks in advance (reservations open roughly two months ahead). "We live in the age of #content. And when you’ve got naff all else to do, well, you may as well make some bloody good content right? There are few better places in London for that than the Chiltern Firehouse. If there isn’t someone off ITV3, or one of Little Mix to unsubtly zoom into whilst pretending to scratch your ear, then at least you can pretend to be 58th in line to wangle a free cocktail. "Chiltern Firehouse is a Marylebone restaurant and hotel that has a reputation for attracting the rich and famous. So your Deux Moi-devotee pal will more than likely have already made a booking for you both before they even touch down (because you will need a booking). But before you panic that celebrities usually have terrible taste in restaurants—please see The Daily Mail’s sidebar of shame—you’ll actually have a good time here. Between the exceptional service and the IRL filter of the warm amber lighting, you’ll have a gorgeous, gorgeous meal with decent food too. "Ah, Chiltern Firehouse. Every celebrity's favourite hangout circa 2015, and your best chance of spotting Orlando Bloom deep in conversation with Lindsay Lohan over cocktails. It might not provide us with the same fallen-out-of-Firehouse pap shots anymore, but this Marylebone spot still serves a great, European-leaning brunch. It feels properly fancy to eat excellent waffles in a pretty garden that Cara Delevigne has probably smoked in. Instagram potential? Definitely. Thick, fluffy pancakes? By the stack-load. Plus, teas and coffees are served in delicate, blue-etched china and most egg dishes can come topped with truffle. Brunch here is a see and be seen thing, with actually good food.
