Cute deli, with few tables. Great place for lunch or coffee. I have a bean soup in a cold day and it was delicious. Many toast options Nice atmosphere m, great music!

place looks lovely and the wine was really tasty. However... we were told to wait for another bottle to be opened and that I would get the same glass size as my companion. But a (really kind) Lady couldn't find it and I was left with 2/3 of the regular glass, despite paying for the full one. Somehow disappointing for 17£ :(

Extremely disappointing and distressing experience. I had an extremely upsetting experience at this cafe on 16.11.2024 around 17:30-17:45. My friend and I were aggressively confronted by a manager who accused my friend of theft without providing any evidence. This serious accusation deeply insulted our honour and dignity. When we calmly asked for proof, such as CCTV footage, the manager refused to provide it. She even publicly threatened to call the police to force us out, despite us remaining calm and cooperative. The most shocking was the manager’s refusal to even provide her name when asked. That should tell you everything about the accountability at this place. It’s shocking that a business would treat paying customers with such hostility and baseless accusations. I sincerely hope that no one else has to endure such an experience here. If you value your dignity and expect even the bare minimum of respect from a business, steer clear of this place. It’s absolutely unacceptable for any establishment to treat people like this. For the business owner: I am ready to provide the photo of a manager (curly dark-hair woman) and any additional details.

Overall, the deli is situated in a beautiful area with a lot of picturesque surroundings, including coffee shops, lifestyle places, and cute restaurants. The menu offers a wide range of delicious sandwiches and drinks, and the first staff member we encountered was helpful in providing recommendations and sharing their personal favorites. However, our experience was slightly tainted when another member of staff snapped at my wife and me when bringing back our finished plates. We were reprimanded for supposedly bringing in outside food or drinks, even though we hadn't and there were no signs indicating that it wasn't allowed. This incident detracted from an otherwise pleasant visit to the deli. I would suggest that the staff be more communicative and approach situations like this with a more understanding and polite attitude. Additionally, clear signage regarding outside food and drink policies could help avoid misunderstandings in the future. Despite this hiccup, the sandwiches were delicious and the overall atmosphere of the deli was enjoyable.

A great spot for sandwich lovers seeking a quick bite to accompany perusing some of the best shops in all of London. I highly recommend the salami and pesto toastie.

Visited this place today. Small but a nice ambience. 3 rooms at the back of the shop that feel very cosy and relaxing. Only disappointment was the coffee. I take mine black and it wasn't very strong (may have been one shot only?) very watery. I would definitely recommend but if you like coffee maybe ask for a double shot. They also allow dogs which is good news for me and my dog.

As part of an organised event we booked coffee and two brownies with two days notice. We got there early and they didn't have enough brownies so substituted the cheapest alternative, no apology. I asked if I could have a croissant or a cake instead and they declined. The staff member was really surly. The coffee was nice but very small.

This spot is fantastic! As a native New Yorker it really hits all the nostalgia points you could want. The food is delicious, the staff is super chill, and the ambience is great for a coffee, a date, or just a quiet place to get some work done. Check it out!
