Chiltern Street Deli

One of the cutest little places I’ve ever found! I actually stumbled upon it while walking my dog and had to come back. It’s oddly hard to find on Google, which is a shame because it’s such a gem. The doughnuts are amazing, the bagels are great (they’re delivered, not made in-house), and the coffee is spot on. But honestly, you come here for the atmosphere it’s cozy, charming, and a little romantic. A perfect hidden spot.

Giving 5 stars for excellent customer service with a smile, we had small talk too. Sandwiches were decent, I'd say in peperoni and pesto, pesto dominates all other ingredients. It's still good thou. Pastrami was good too, not the best I've had, I believe I can make a better one but I use a lot sauerkraut and special mustard. Prices are high but it's expensive area with lots of wealthy people around. We used NeoNaste to get special deal. Place looks cool, has more old look than modern, and thanks for thank you for that, seat options outside. Again, top notch customer service.

I stopped off to refuel when I was researching the area for my blog. I opted for a cheese toastie which was delicious. The latte was ok. I sat outside to people watch. It’s a cute place for light refreshments. Seemed to be a hit with locals and nearby shop owners.

£10 for half a bagel and 2 capers. Doesn’t say on the menu that it’s an open bagel. Tasty enough but it is smoked salmon and cream cheese, hard to mess up. Bit of a rip off.

Cute deli, with few tables. Great place for lunch or coffee. I have a bean soup in a cold day and it was delicious. Many toast options Nice atmosphere m, great music!

The coffee here is great, the baristas are super nice, but I ordered a bacon egg and cheese, and it came on a cinnamon swirl bagel, which is one of the worst crimes to bagels i’ve ever witnessed. i would’ve loved a different flavour of bagel.

Lovely customer service I enjoyed their coffee and more recently their cheesy tuna melt which was great too a bit on the pricey side but great quality products

Overall, the deli is situated in a beautiful area with a lot of picturesque surroundings, including coffee shops, lifestyle places, and cute restaurants. The menu offers a wide range of delicious sandwiches and drinks, and the first staff member we encountered was helpful in providing recommendations and sharing their personal favorites. However, our experience was slightly tainted when another member of staff snapped at my wife and me when bringing back our finished plates. We were reprimanded for supposedly bringing in outside food or drinks, even though we hadn't and there were no signs indicating that it wasn't allowed. This incident detracted from an otherwise pleasant visit to the deli. I would suggest that the staff be more communicative and approach situations like this with a more understanding and polite attitude. Additionally, clear signage regarding outside food and drink policies could help avoid misunderstandings in the future. Despite this hiccup, the sandwiches were delicious and the overall atmosphere of the deli was enjoyable.
