Absolutely spectacular — from the first bite to the last. The dishes are creative, beautifully presented, and full of flavor, showing why this restaurant truly deserves its Michelin star. Service was outstanding as well: attentive, knowledgeable, and warm without being overbearing. An unforgettable dining experience — highly recommended if you want to enjoy fine dining at its best in Kuala Lumpur.

Overall Rating: 3.5/5 We dined at the restaurant and opted for the Naga and Mekong Legend menu to celebrate for my partner birthday. As this is a Thai fusion restaurant, we were expecting a creative blend of Thai and Western flavours. Unfortunately, the overall taste profile felt rather one-dimensional—it didn’t quite lean fully into Thai nor Western influences, leaving us somewhat underwhelmed. We were sticking to the river prawn as our main ingredient, after got to experience the dishes beforehand, and we were glad not to upgrade it, as we saw the next table lobster,s were actually almost the size of our river prawn 😂 Food: 3.5/5 Apologies to the chef—perhaps these particular dishes just weren’t to our liking. We also tried two of their signature cocktails, which were decent but didn’t leave a lasting impression. Service: 4/5 Service was generally good and the staff were attentive throughout the meal. Atmosphere: 4/5 We took the 6:00 PM slot and were seated by the glass window. While the view was nice, it was quite warm upon arrival, which slightly affected the comfort level.

Highly recommended for everyone who wants to try out different fine dining which is normally japanese or western style. Everything is perfectly cooked and comes with perfect match of wine and sakae pairing. You got to try it to love it. Ambients and services are top notch. Highly recommended.

I visited Chim by Chef Noom a few days ago to celebrate a birthday, and the entire course was absolutely amazing. My entire family really enjoyed every dish, even though we typically aren’t fans of seafood or spices. Each raw ingredient was thoughtfully paired with garnishes that enhanced its freshness, while the cooked elements were expertly prepared to bring out the best in texture and flavor. The highlight for us was the chef’s dessert—the creamy mango paste complemented the sweet Biscoff biscuit beautifully, making it a perfect finale to the meal. I truly appreciated how much emphasis was placed not only on service and presentation, but also on taste—clearly a core value at Chim by Chef Noom.

This restaurant offers beautiful cuisine and flavorful dishes that make for a perfect meal. Although it doesn’t have a magnificent view, the decor and ambiance make up for it. The chef has put a lot of heart into ensuring that each course is well-balanced and delicious.

Taste of Thailand is a 9-course menu. We were offered the 600 RM per pax menu. The dinner started off well. I liked the Harima Oyster. The 4th course, Goong Sarong, is big prawn wrapped in some form of crackers. The 5th Course, the Lost Recipe, which is grouper cooked in Thai Herb soup, tasted great too. Wild caught grouper was fresh. We were however rather disappointed with the 2 main courses. The first main course, Massaman Gai, which is sliced chicken roll paired with Pineapple, Caramelised onion and roasted tomato, was disappointing. River Prawn tasted ok, but the red rice wasn’t good. You would have noticed, there are 2 prawn dishes in the 9-course menu. If the second main course can be replaced with beef, might give more balance to the entire dinner.

Absolutely blown away by the creativity at Chim by Chef Noom! Every dish is a piece of art, beautifully presented and bursting with authentic Thai flavors. The Goong Sarong is a must-try-crispy, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. Truly deserving of its Michelin star!

As someone with Thai heritage, I was skeptical about 'elevated' Thai cuisine, but Chef Noom has created something truly special at Chim. The restaurant honors traditional flavors while presenting them in innovative ways. The dining room's elegant atmosphere, attentive service, and the MICHELIN-worthy food made for an exceptional evening. Particularly impressed by how they've incorporated the Manora folklore into the dining experience.
