"Chima Steakhouse, like Fogo, is an upmarket homage to Southern Brazilian churrasco. Their prix fixe (dubbed rodizio or “rotation”) goes for $63.90. The Tysons Corner location serves its caipirinhas with São Paulo cachaça for $8 (with a vodka version for the same price)." - John Besche, Tierney Plumb

Undoubtedly, this is one of the best Brazilian steakhouses in Northern Virginia. It offers all-you-can-eat meats and has a great salad bar that serves fresh food. The ambiance is charming and elegant, although it may feel like it needs to be updated. The service is decent, but it could be better. The occasional weekend seafood option separates this steakhouse, where servers carry it from table to table. While we used to dine here to celebrate special occasions frequently, we now prefer some of its competitors in the area that serve similar food options but provide better service in a more inviting environment.

It was very crowded this time. Some business party was also there. It was my birthday party dinner. The lamb was super fatty and super Tough! Very hard to chew! Flank steak was perfect. Loved the cinnamon pineapple, the fresh and warm cheese biscuits, the arugula salad and tasty salads and chicken breasts!! Wonderful whiskey sour!! Great birthday dinner!!Great homemade berry cheesecake !!!! Yummy in my tummy!!!🎂🎂🌹

I went here on the recommendation of a friend. I've been to similar restaurants so I was familiar with the concept. They are located in an office building but in a good area. They take the dress code seriously. It's more of an upscale place. Nice ambiance. They were having a party in the back. The hostess and the servers very nice and accommodating. We went for lunch service and the food came quick once they started. The jalapeño beef, lamb, and garlic sirloin are things that really stood out. The other cuts were good but had minimal seasoning. The garden bar was sizable. Smoked salmon, Greek salad, beets, asparagus, etc. Oh try the grilled pineapple. Quite good and sweet. Overall a great place to try.

Google
This place is very comparable to Foco de Chao! If you’re ready for folks to come by your table make sure to flip over the plastic coin to let others know you’re ready. 5 stars for 5 reasons 1. My favorite meat was the jalapeño and sirloin! Tender, juicy and simply delicious. 2. The variety of meats, vegetables and shrimp that is offered is abundant and wide selection to choose from. 3. The price is really good for what you get! 51 dollars and automatic 18% gratuity was added for large party! 4. Customer service is awesome here and our server was attentive and nice. He took care of us. 5. The ambiance here is relaxing and the decor is beautiful.

I didn’t plan on reviewing my experience at Chima’s, I’ll have to go back soon. Everything was amazing and honestly worth the price. The food was awesome, the staff are professional, and the overall atmosphere is a 10!

I had an outstanding experience at this all-you-can-eat steakhouse. The service was excellent, with the staff being both attentive and friendly. The food was delicious and continuously served, ensuring our plates were always full. The atmosphere was lively and inviting, making it a perfect spot for a memorable meal. Highly recommend!

Google
Had a great time. Festive atmosphere. A bit crowded since it's the holidays and Saturday. Salad bar is great. Fantastic meat selection. Had medium rare steak slices, just right. Wonderful crime Brule for dessert. Cappuccino was perfect.

Been here dozens of times. Service has always been excellent and the food is always great. A few years ago, they had a mandatory tip (they don't anymore). I preferred their tip but I'm assuming most did not. Their service has always been consistently great, above a lot of other places. The food is good, fresh meat and a good salad bar selection. Drinks and desserts are also all very good. Great place.

Yelp
Having been to one or two other steakhouses I was already expecting a wonderful time. However I was simply blown out of the water. A night and day difference. Between the atmosphere, the incredible staff (especially Andrea!) and absolutely superior meats and salad bar I was thoroughly stuffed by the end. The only bad experience was with a singular drink I ordered, but the level of concern they expressed over my dislike completely stunned me. Never have I seen such care for MY quality and experience! I brought my roommate as well to enjoy a meal together and they were so shocked. I wouldn't call him a food snob but eating out is a rare expectation for him due to cooking for himself often. He declared immediately before even we had a slice of meat that we would be back. Five stars, 10/10, a highly recommended location in Tyson's Corner.

Yelp
Chima does the standard rodizio experience well. The meats are generally well cooked and well seasoned. You can sometimes get the short end of the stick on a specific cut but as a medium rare enthusiast, I find the range of doneness on the meats to be acceptable. The salad bar is stocked with fresh food to keep you from overdosing on meat. The best items at this place for me are the pineapple, shrimp, and the grilled cheese surprisingly. Of course the picahna is amazing as well. My only gripe with this establishment is the variety of meats that get walked around isn't that high. You need to ask specifically for certain cuts, or you'll never see them pass your table. For some reason, the chicken and sausage will always return, but the pineapple is never offered until I beg.

Yelp
We dined at Chima Steakhouse for lunch on 4/14, as we often do, and have generally enjoyed our visits. However, we were disappointed to encounter a situation similar to a prior visit about a month or so ago. Despite the menu listing 8 different meat (beef) cuts and preparations, we were only served two: Black Angus Picanha and Flank Steak (Fraldinha). We had to specifically request the Beef Ribs and Black Angus Picanha with garlic to try them; otherwise, they wouldn't have been brought to our table. Is this the new norm at Chima Steakhouse? Where are the other meat options like Black Angus Picanha with Chimichurri & Jalapeño, Filet Mignon, Filet wrapped in bacon, and Cajun Ribeye? It feels like the quality of service has declined recently - if you don't ask, you don't receive! Unfortunately, based on this experience, it's challenging to recommend Chima Steakhouse to our friends and family.

Yelp
Updating my review as I finally had a chance to visit on my on terms (last time was a wedding). Though we made reservations, the restaurant didn't get busy until after 730. The hostesses greeted us with a smile and our waiter Joao Victor took such great care of us. He was very knowledgeable and gave good suggestions based on our feedback. Loved the variety of meat + seasoning and they really know how to keep the meat going! Great margaritas true to their name.

Yelp
Recently dined at Chima for my husband's birthday and we very much enjoyed our family dinner. They added some new items that we hadn't seen before since the last time we've been about a year ago. Some of our favorites: Picanha, Cinnamon Pineapple, Cheese Bread, flank steak, Brazilian limeade (soooo good)

Chandler D.

Yelp
Located in Tysons Corner. At Chima you go to the buffet to pick the sides you want to pair with the meat that is served. They come around to your table with a variety of meats that you can have. You also have a table card to indicate where you want more food or not so the waiters know whether to offer you more meat.

Yelp
We came here with a group of 6 for a friends birthday and had a great meal. There are two pricing options that are well worth the price. One offers salad bar and an assortment of meats/chicken/fish and the other offers a one meat option (salmon, chicken, and one other meal) with salad bar. Both are well worth the price given the assortment of options at the salad bar. The food is delicious overall. We also got an assortment of desserts (including a treat for the birthday girl from the restaurant) and they are generous portions. It was all delicious. The staff were great and service was wonderful. We asked about foods to avoid for a food allergy and the server asked a chef who came out and pointed out specific food items to avoid. Very appreciated. The restaurant is beautiful inside. They offer valet or a garage is very closeby and inexpensive. We had a great time and highly recommend this spot.

Yelp
Food Food was as delicious as it has been the years we've made reservations. Their salad bar is so good and has a variety of things compared to Fogo De Chao. They also have grilled pineapple with cinnamon which is always one of my favorites. I had one of their Brazilian cocktails passion fruit flavored and it was perfect. Service What can I say, exceptional each and every time. Fresh new plates are brought to the table when they see the one you have is in need of swapping. Every chance the waiter got he stopped by to ask how we were doing and refill my glass with sparkling water. This location for me js superb. Ambiance Always so chic, elegant, great background music, and decor. The music is always romantic and goes perfect with the decor. It's such a lovely place to celebrate anything. One thing I always love is the spacing of their tables. No one is sitting on top of each other. I don't give out many 5 but time and time again not only is the food delicious but the service is superb each time. This five is for continuous great service and food as well as consistency. We were celebrating our anniversary and the even through in a free dessert. Thank you for making our day perfect!

Usamah N.

Yelp
This is my favorite AYCE steakhouse in Northern Virginia, yes better than Fogo and pretty reasonable in terms of affordability Quality of the meat is great here and make sure you try the lamb chops + beef ribs, both are absolutely delicious

Michele F.

Yelp
Very expensive for what you get, not a huge variety of proteins. I came here for brunch with a friend. We started with the salad bar, which also offered grilled veggies, seafood salad options, pasta salad, rice, rolls and butter. We didn't want to eat too much as we were excited to try the proteins that were brought around by staff and sliced at your table. The staff brought out some small plates while we were waiting for the skewered proteins to come out and they were nothing impressive--we didn't really care for any of them. I'm not sure if waiters kept missing our table, but there didn't seem to be as large of a variety of skewered meats available as mentioned on their website. Our waiter was friendly, but a bit too pushy, first trying to get us to buy alcoholic beverages, then desserts. For over $51 per person, dessert should have been included. There are other options out there, so it's unlikely I'll be back.

Alise G.

Yelp
Chimas steakhouse is a must for any steak lover. The range of meat options were amazing. From the New Zealand lamb chops, filet mignon and top sirloin. They also offer other grilled options including chicken, shrimp, Halloumi cheese and my favorite the pineapple with cinnamon. The service was top tier, everything was so good and flavorful. I recommend washing everything down with a Brazilian lemonade, it is so fresh and sweet. The prices weren't to bad, about $50 per person for Sunday lunch. I will definitely come back.

Lily W.

Yelp
If you want meat, this is the place. The meat selection and flavors were much better than Fogo de Chao. However, their salad bars had less selection. The drinks were quite expensive and you can easily rack up an expensive bill.

Bobbie P.

Yelp
Chima remains good...but not great. You get a healthy amount of food for what it costs (funny, they keep expanding the buffet but all of the proteins remain the same), but other than the sheer volume of meat I don't feel as though it's the same kind of experience that you would have several years ago where this place was a whole vibe. That vibe, the...mystique...has definitely worn off and for what you're paying you'd be better off going some place different. Because of this I can't give it five stars

Emily H.

Yelp
Very spacious, clean, and fine dining interior. Your table starts with four appetizers (fried bananas, fried yuca?, mashed potatoes, and a cheesy bread. Didn't really like the first two but enjoyed the mashed potato and bread. The salad bar has a variety from salads, soups, vegetables, pasta, etc. Meat selection includes: Chicken, Top Sirloin, Lamb Chop, Picanha, Shrimp, Jalapeño Steak, Beef Ribs, Filet Mignon, etc. Everything was nicely seasoned! Besides the meats, they also serve cinnamon coated grilled pineapple (great dessert after all the protein). Service was great at first but declined as the time went by. My friend requested the same cut of meat multiple times to different waiters. Although it was acknowledged, the request was never completed.

Tim H.

Yelp
This is the second time in two weeks we ate at a steakhouse (graduation & anniversary). Chima at Tyson, VA did not disappoint. Servers were super friendly and fast. No superficial greeting followed by a hard sell of drinks, but the wait staff did politely go through an introductory routine. There were plenty of seats available at about noon time, and we took our time to enjoy every kind of rotisserie meats including - sirloin, Angus beef steak with garlic, filet mignon (my favorite!), lamb, shrimps, etc. For the quality and quantity, at about $52/person for the lunch Rodizio, you can't get a better deal. Highly recommend.

Samantha G.

Yelp
Whenever we have something to celebrate, we always come to chima! You can always count on the service being attentive and the food being great. The restaurant is fairly large and can get busy on a weekend but this does not stop the amount of meat that comes to your table. If you do not receive a meat that you want, you can always ask your waiter for one you want. The passion fruit caipirinha is delicious and if you want a soda option, go for the guarana!

Jenna Alexa I.

Yelp
Came with my family on Mother's Day, and was so surprised of our experience. Unsure if it's because we came first thing or if it's because Chima is better than Fogo De Chao but it was exponentially faster to get to our table with reservations, and the food was delightful. I will probably crave the fried yuca/polenta and the bread rolls with dip that tastes much like smoked salmon dip. The service comes almost in waves, but it's nice because by the time your stomach calms down, the servers are ready with more & more food. Truly feels like such an intimate lunch/dinner with the dinner, and it's nice with the setting you're in. Coming here next time instead of Fogo. Super happy!

Kenyatte S.

Yelp
I have never been to a Brazilian Steakhouse before. My first experience was a great one. The staff was inviting and explained everything. We were seated in a large dining room with crisp white table cloths. It definitely gives elegant dining vibes. The buffet had a variety of delicious salads, sauces, veggies and fruit. The wait staff visited our table with many protein options. The meats were delicious, well seasoned and cooked perfectly. They gave us polenta sticks, mashed potatoes and deep fried banana. Everything they brought to the table was delicious. I wish I could have tried more meats. We were limited on time so we will definitely have to do this again soon. Next time I will take more pictures:)

Karen T.

Yelp
The only thing I truly remembered was their grilled pineapple. Im not sure if that is a good or bad thing... Meats were great, my favorite cuts tends to be the picanha which was very crispy and well seasoned. The salad bar had many options and different kinds of salads that complimented the amount of meat you consume. Cocktails were rather good. Service was attentive at first since we were a large party but towards the end of the night our server was hard to track down. I don't think I really got my moneys worth as I just kept asking for their grilled pineapple. Would probably come back to just do the a la carte menu if I am craving.

Heba E.

Yelp
Steak was lovely. Filet mignonette was tender. Lamb chops were good. Beef ribs on point. Rib eye was the best.

Mackenzie C.

Yelp
Amazing. From the service, to the salad bar, to the wide array of meat and other options they bring around, this place is perfect to go to for a celebration or a treat. Everything is clean and the food at the bar gets refreshed quickly. The dessert was amazing and I highly recommend visiting here!

Cynthia S.

Yelp
My BF made reservations here for our anniversary, and it was great. The service is top notch our server Jorge was so attentive and friendly. There's a variety of sides you can get to complement the meats. Most of the meats are really good. I was also surprise at how good their chicken is. You can get valet parking for only 5 bucks. Overall had a good time.

James K.

Yelp
Awful awful experience. Went today for our friends birthday, 6 of us in total. Ordered a bottle of wine, seafood platter, bill was nearly $600. Why the one star rating? Service was absolutely ATROCIOUS. What a joke. Our server , she was friendly but maybe she's new. Maybe super timid or scared of going to her tables? Not once she said if we needed anything. I has to constantly flag her down for more drinks. Asked for sauces which took forever. Asked for another can of coke. Never came. Oh and the sauces? They never came so I had to flag down other severs for sauce. I stood up and held two plates we needed taken away, literally stood up and I asked another waiter where is the kitchen I need to take these to the back. He ofcourse took them but come on. We were getting really annoyed. I saw our server who was more so just hanging around the register area or talking to some other people, doing things but not serving. This job isn't for you. We had to ask for bread AT THE END because it never came and our kid wanted some bread that was our dessert basically as our server never even approached us to ask for dessert. She FINALLY came back when I was holding up another plate that needed to be taken away. But you get my point, NOT attentive nor helpful in any way. Asking for stuff to her didn't work so having to ask other people for stuff including the check was again an absolute joke. WASTED $600+ today. Will not go back to this location. Management - you have some friendly staff members but PLEASE Train your staff as an entirety. I'm not asking for special treatment I'm asking for your servers to know to check on your tables, to clear plates, to bring what is basic stuff for the table and to check for drinks. It's LAUGHABLE. WE get food from our appetizers, WE get side items, OTHER PEOPLE bring the meats. Well where the Heck was our serve and why so dang timid???? Again One star is fully justified, and as a group for a birthday $600+ was wasted today.

Muhabbat Y.

Yelp
Staff is so friendly, they will make your request as you have asked for. Food is delicious. Loved the salad bar.

Brian R.

Yelp
João was our waiter and provided excellent service. We talked, laughed and he checked on us often to make sure we were getting the cuts of meat we wanted. We mentioned we like lamb and we had 3 lamb visits in the next 5 minutes. It was great. Ambiance was fantastic. Truly a great fancy date night. Wear your best attire, be fancy, have a good time!

Yas S.

Yelp
We've done to Chima many times in the last few years. It's never disappointed us!!! I saw the 3 star reviews here and I was surprised by it but still thought to give it a chance. I wish we had listened to those reviews and not wasted our date night or money! Service was bad! They barely came to our table with meat! The server wouldn't even talk! Had to wait on our bill for about 15 minutes. The food wasn't that great like it used to! Very disappointing!!! We'll never go back!

Trang H.

Yelp
*Food: I have to admit that I'm not a steak person and therefore not qualified to give you a review on how good their steak is. I myself enjoyed the meat section. They have a good variety of cuts and some of them were excellent. The salmon and shrimps were pretty great as well. I loved, yes, loved the salad bar:)) But who comes to a Brazilian steak house for salad ‍ *Services: Nothing to complain! We came about 20 minutes early on a busy Saturday night but they gave us a table quickly. The host and the waiters were very attentive and kept asking if we needed any specific meat. *Ambience: Very nice, suitable for a date night. You can dress up or down. I saw people did both. Took off one star because I felt so sick after stuffing myself with so much meat to justify the prices. But again, I'm not a steak person and don't usually eat that much meat.

Chelsea A.

Yelp
Love a good endless foodie place! Reservation was observed in a timely fashion. Took a bit to get some drinks but thankfully was distracted by the salad bar. No complaints- left full and happy. Great place for a photo opp.

Atif C.

Yelp
Salad bar, meats and deserts are all fantastic. I tried there spicy halal lamb chops as it was new item on the menu and it was perfection. We have been going to Chima for long time and always had great service and great food quality. Highly recommend this place.

Lynn J.

Yelp
On April 13, 2024, I surprised my husband with a dinner gathering at his favorite restaurant he likes to go to all the time. We are regulars! This is why I was surprised to find out that all 10 of us were all charged $11.00 for two bottles of sparkling water. Not everyone had this particular type of water but yet we were all charged. I did reach out to the guest reservations manager to address this issue but still no response from her. It saddens me that my guests were charged which wasn't a good sign for some of the first time visitors to this restaurant.

Ahmad M.

Yelp
Food was excellent. From the salad bar, to the halal lamb chops, the tender beef rib cut and obviously the picanha. Service was great. The waiter even brought me a dessert because it was my birthday. The ambiance is very nice.

Julia K.

Yelp
This was my first visit here, as I usually go to other Brazilian steakhouses. I had never heard about Chima before, so we decided to go here for date night. We got the unlimited experience, and was very happy to find that they had options that some other places don't have. The salmon was awesome, with your choice of 2 different sauces. All of the other options were very tasty too. They are also very allergy friendly. I have a severe allergy, so they were able to reassure me that i would be fine eating their food. Definitely make a reservation as this place fills up fast. Will definitely be back again soon!

Larry R.

Yelp
First time visiting the restaurant and came for happy hour. Arrived early and were surprised at the choices for both drinks and appetizers for a happy hour. Exceptional wines, great cocktails and an array of food that was a pleasure to enjoy. The seafood appetizer served in a martini glass was excellent, loaded with shrimp, calamari, and more. The chicken skewers were cooked to perfection. We ran out of time and had to leave but can't wait to try the main restaurant. If the bar and happy hour is any indication, this is going to be a great meal!!

Sophia C.

Yelp
Waitstaff unhappy with the tip. Who in their right mind goes to a customer and complains about the tip and tells them it is not enough? You're not entitle to a tip. Customers tip because the service was exceptional. If you go here; don't tip. Obviously whatever percentage you put down won't be good enough.

Rose J.

Yelp
Celebrated our five-year anniversary (and first time ordering rare steak since before the baby!) here and it did not disappoint. The salad bar is always a hit and the meats were never ending. The Cajun ribeye and lamb were my favorites of the evening! Service is always great, and we really appreciated the complimentary cake for our special night.

Ariana M.

Yelp
I went to chima for a wedding and honestly this is my favorite Brazilian steak house. There's a variety of different meats to choose from but my favorite is the picanha. The salad bar was also full of great items such as the cheese bread and prosciutto. I love how the back room had so much natural lighting from the large windows.

Robyn L.

Yelp
Food, service, and management was very poor for the price. Ladies bathroom was dirty too. I wouldn't recommend going here at all.

Andrew P.

Yelp
Umm, listen. My cousin was in town and I was not prepared for the treat I was in for! I haven't seen this guy in almost a decade and so when I heard he was visiting I had to do all the things with him! We started the day off with brunch, and ended it with this spot they were eyeing that I was totally unfamiliar with! Where do I start... the place has plenty of parking, and it's huge! I think I had every single meat available -- I'm pretty sure the angus picanha with chimichurri and lamb chops and I was crushing the kale sweet potato salad and black quinoa salad. All in all, I left very full and satisfied. The price was in the $60s, but which seemed standard. The staff were friendly and attentive and I have no complaints. It was a long walk for the bathroom though XD.

Rachael R.

Yelp
Meh? We were here the other night to celebrate something specific. We found it to be "ok." Some of the most was good but a decent amount was chewy and inedible and on top of that they kept saying sorry but not bringing our drinks. We got our drinks by the time we were basically done with dinner when we ordered them on time. I wouldn't go back-especially for the cost. The quality just wasn't there.

Larry W.

Yelp
Went with family tyson chima Service bad. Noisy like a football stadium. By time done eating i was having abd cramps and diarrhea and sick all nite. Family didnot eat salad bar and they were ok. Likely salad bar was culprit As a physician and have inspected mess halls in the past this was likely staph food poisoning. They would not let me speak to manager next day to report it. I would never go back and not sure about filing a law suit

Griselda M.

Yelp
Hands down the best Brazilian steakhouse! For almost every special occasion my family goes to Chima to celebrate! Excellent customer service (they make sure your taken care of throughout your stay, asking what meats you want to try, refilling the sides ex..) beautiful ambiance and beyond delicious food, they have a great diversity of steak and cuts, also the cinnamon grilled pineapple is AMAZING!! Highly highly recommend!!

Mohamad B.

Yelp
Been there a few times but this time service was at best modest. They catered more to larger tables than couples. Had to wait more than 10-15 for the meat to come around. Not happy.

Marjan W.

Yelp
I've visited this location a handful of times now and usually have a good experience. This year we visited for both my mom's birthday in February and my dad's this past weekend. In the reservation, I've indicated it was their birthdays and Chima provides a nice dessert of cheesecake at the end. I'm not a huge fan of cheesecake but this is actually pretty good as I love the berry sauce on top. It was also nice that it was a subtle birthday celebration without waiters singing and attracting attention from other diners. For the main meal, it was standard. We went at 2:45 pm on a Saturday at their tail end of lunch but still had pretty good options. My favorites were the filet mignon and the beef rib. There were some various ribeyes brought out but it was hard to tell what types they were as the waiters just stated rib-eye (even though they differed - for example, one was spicy so most likely Cajun but I wish this was explained). I do wish that there was a menu or iPad left at the table to read more about each cut of meat because it's hard to hear the waiters just when they're quickly passing. Towards the end of the meal, the meat started coming out slower and dwindling down - probably because they were preparing for dinner but I wish it still kept coming out. I've had this experience at dinner and I've seen other diners complain here but it was a little disappointing. Also, the sides that come out to the table weren't replenished at all. Usually during dinner, we've had multiple servings. I did call ahead to ask if there was any trouble of making a reservation at 2:45 (because they close at 3) and they said no, but we definitely noticed the service wasn't up to it's usual standard. The food is always good and I do like the salad bar - my favorite options here are the Caesar salad, beef carpaccio, and the chicken salad mix. Overall, still had a good meal but I think next time we'll come back earlier during lunch or for dinner to ensure the meat and sides are more plentiful. The lunch cost is still a good deal (about $52 a person). They also did let my dad use his birthday coupon for lunch which was nice.

Bob B.

Yelp
very expensive, limited meat choices during our visit, only cold vegetables. a little disappointing

Heather E.

Yelp
This was my first time visiting Chima. The server was attentive and Service was very good. Plates were often replaced with clean ones. The salad bar selection was great however the mashed potatoes brought to the table were a pasty consistency . The meat selection was tasty and on point for temperature doneness. We had the apple strudel for dessert and it was good. Loved the cheese and honey and the pineapple. Overall was happy and would probably return.

Mike G.

Yelp
Chima in Tysons corner is one of the worst restaurant in the DMV area when it comes to customer service / calling back. Monday the 6th of 2023, I called to reserve a table for 20 people. Whoever picked up was Very professional and picked up the phone very fast, he transferred my call to the manager BELOMIR since my party was big. I left a message and no call back. Tuesday the 7th, I called back and some lady picked up very fast and was very professional as well ,and again I got transferred to the manager. I left a second voicemail and did not pick up. Within 2 mins he texted me saying , can I call you later ? I said sure. Weds 8th, Thurs 9th, Frid 10th, no call back no text , nothing. They left us hanging ! I'm not looking for any compensation, Maybe chima should consider whoever picked up the phone on Monday and Tuesday to become the manager. Very sad ! March 14 , Anne reached out for me After I left a negative review on yelp. I haven't heard anything until today and it's April 2 lol. This chima company is such a joke.

Yelp
The food is unreal. They never stop bringing more and more delicious meat and shrimp. I had never been to a restaurant like this before and it was a bit overwhelming. Everyone had a great time eating way too much. We will be back in February.

Yelp
***This review is strictly on Chima's food*** I had ordered from Chima while staying at one of the hotels nearby during a work visit to McLean. I had ordered the picanha with a side of creamy mash potatoes, white rice, and quinoa salad. The food came slightly warm but that was expected. The picanha as seasoned well and the sides were delicious. It was what you would expect from a Brazilian steakhouse. I enjoyed my meal and will love to dine in person next time.

Yelp
Usually this place would have a 4 to 5 star marking and my stars are only for our waiter . I booked a 7 pm reservation this past Saturday the 2nd for a birthday dinner. When my party arrived of two we entered into an overwhelmingly packed lobby area and bar . There were individuals who had been waiting since six ( with reservations). We waited for over an hour close to an hour and a half by three minutes to be seated. This was after the waiting patrons got upset about a group of four who was seated with a later reservation time...that is a whole other story. When we were initially seated the hostess attempted to seat us next to an over crowded salad bar with only one chair . One of the managers moved us to a better table. When scooting up his chair my date pricked his finer on a nail that was under his seat. I spoke with a manager about this and we were given a band aid. The manager then took one of our meals off of our ticket and apologized for the inconvenience. So in short the food and our waiter was really good but there is a chance you will wait for over an hour and spill blood but don't worry you will get a meal deducted from your tab. I don't typically write negative reviews but at some point someone had to see they had overbooked and being flustered it left the poor hostesses to take the brunt of questioning. In addition check under your seats having exposed nails that cause bleeding is not safe or even expected at a place such as this. Finally the food review portion , the food was good and when we were able to finally eat it came out quickly and our waiter was very attentive. Other than that I would hesitate to choose this as a place for any evening celebration
