Chim&Churri empanadas

Mateous is a generous kind person! The ham and cheese empanada is a must-try, but the choripán and milanesa also hit the spot…especially with the chimichurri sauce. The fries had a unique seasoning that made it very addictive. And the croissants where a touch of deliciousness:)

Finally Argentinian empanadas in Alexandria, VA! Try them either fried or baked! The beef is a must with chunks of real meat not that ground beef you get everywhere else. It was the first time I tried a Caprese empanada and its bomb. A must-try for anyone craving a taste of Argentina!

Riquísimas las empanadas! A todos nos encantaron! The empanadas are very yummy! We all enjoyed them. We tried the beef, chicken, ham with cheese, and caprese. A MUST order the medialunas/croissants Absolutely delicious!

Authentic, made with care, and very tasty! My favorite was the spicy chicken. Also some of the best fries I've ever had. 5 stars all around.

I ordered a choripan from here. It was just amazing. The only issue was that it was so good that you were left wanting more. Truly, Argentine food is the best in the world

Incredible Empanadas. Best we have tried in the area. The fried meat empanada is just spectacular. Baked empanadas are delicious. We even tried ones from frozen and still great. Highly recommended. Need their delivery to make it to Bethesda though!

Outstanding empanadas take out place in Alexandria. Ordered spicy meat, chicken, ham and cheese. Spicy meat empanadas were wolfed down fast! But not so fast that the texture of the pastry and the filling could not be noticed. They are fabulously delicious and satisfying. Chicken was also delicious, especially with the orange (color) sauce that came with the order. Ham and cheese are gooey (in the best possible way) and mouth watering. All in all a must go place. So happy that it is close to my house. I look forward to becoming a regular and trying the churros (with dulce de leche, of course).

Great to see a new Argentine empanada spot in Alexandria, conveniently close to Arlington! The empanadas also travel well via UberEats. I tried a variety and enjoyed them all. The spicy beef had a nice kick, caprese tasted like margherita pizza, and the fugazzeta was reminiscent of a white pizza--very good. The jamon & queso was delicious, with just the right amount of salt and a satisfying chunk of unmelted mozzarella in the middle. Both the fried and baked empanadas were great, but I preferred the baked ones overall. Definitely worth stopping by to try for yourself!
