Came through first time. Alex came through and greeted me. Made sure I picked the right order. I got the double smash burger combo. The patty is amazing. Not over cooked either. Looking for forward to coming back. Thank you

First time I went got the jr with fries it was awesome. Ordered again on uber eats it was unseasoned. Got the OG seasoning and they clearly forgot to season after frying. Still okay, but disappointing.

We had the short rib smash burger and the non-spicy version of the Korean fried chicken sandwich. Both were wildly delicious. Plus, the fries were on point.

I ordered delivery. My full order did not arrive, they had made a mistake. Then lied that they'd closed for the night when I asked them to make it right. Said they couldn't be expected to wait 5 minutes for a driver to show up. No matter that I spent 30 minutes with customer support trying to fix the issue. I was excited to try something new, but no food is worth being treated this badly.

We were staying at a friend's in Alameda and my husband always craves late night eats. So he ordered from here. We tried the soy garlic? Not my favorite in terms of soy garlic flavor. it was different? not bad bad, but not my favorite. its okay. surprisingly I really liked the OMG flavor. dry spice rub. Not too spicy at all. very nice. the shrimp toast was yummy. the pickled jalapeño daikon radishes!!! SO YUMMMY. I think we ordered the side of it, around $4? BUT SO GOOD. I'd buy jars of this. overall satisfying korean fried chicken. Will try again!

Korean fast food. Good buldak spicy chicken. Verreryyy spicy. Combo with seasoned fries and can soda. Very good quality. Quick service food came out fast too. Casual comfortable. Can seat 20 people easy. I recommend trying if you're in the area. They also have beef rib burger. It looks like a normal burger restaurant outside.

Chimmelier operates where Korean Street Food is. Probably same owners. Infrastructure same. Decor changed. Limited seating. K-pop music. Present offerings: wings, k-popcorn chicken, chicken Burger, value meal, drinks.. Bites: Korean Fried Chicken classic wings (8/$18) -ready in 10ish minutes. 6 smalls, 2 med. Large. -bones soft indicating wings boiled before being twice fried. Meat semi-tender abid flavor faint. -hot yang yum wasn't super hot, had flava of gochugang. Crispy skin/outer texture. Mushy inner texture. All flava on outer texture. -not a wing fan. This version better than most. Unsure if this version is typical of Korean fried wings. *many origins of Korean Fried Chicken: 1)Koreans were frying chicken during Goryeo Dynasty (918-1392), 2)Black GI's introduced fried chicken to Korea during the 625 War (Korean War), 3)Korean Fried Chicken shops started opening in the 1970's..

Food is made to order so it takes some time but nice to know it's fresh and not just heated up. The Korean seasoned fries were a generous portion and were surprisingly addictive despite me not initially loving them. Junior chicken burger was definitely filling but I think the brioche bun is probably better on the regular burger. Radish was good - pickled nicely with a little spice. Employee was friendly and told me about the two menus - the other one is for Oh G Burger. Place is clean inside and I saw him cleaning after the diners next to me left. Will have to come back to try the shrimp toast. $6 more for the fries and drink to make it a combo was a decent deal in 2025.

Bruh....umm maybe it's just a personal preference but the wings were not my fav. They were way too big and overwhelming. It was heavy, like a triple chocolate mousse cake type of heavy. Almost tasted like honey bbq kfc wings but not really good. A little kick. Don't get me started on the kimchi fried rice...there was a taste/smell to it, like baby formula. Monkey king has the best kimchi fried rice. The only thing that was good about it was the fried egg....id give it 3 stars because the worker was nice and helpful, suggested things but it wasn't good :(

@ OG Burger #3 3905 Broadway Oakland, CA 94611 Chimmelier is a Korean Street Food menu inside the new OG Burger location in North Oakland. They just opened about a month ago. The place is clean, spacious, and has some tables inside. You order at the counter, and they bring the food to your table. I've been to this restaurant three times already. the service has always been polite, prompt, and friendly. There can be a short wait if the place gets busy. So far, I have ordered: - 8 pc K-Chicken Wings, OG Style - K-Chicken Burger Jr Okay, the Korean Chicken Wings were small, crispy, and didn't have much meat. I will not order them again. If you're hungry, don't order wings. The K-Chicken Burger Jr was very good. The large piece of fried chicken hangs out of the bun. It has a dry rub coating, lightly crisp, and has a medium spicy kick. Okay, so to be clear, OG Burger has two menus. You can mix different items, and create one order. This place is worth a try.....

Chimmelier (a popular Korean Street food + KFC spot in LA) had their first pop-up last year in Oakland, and we were lucky enough to try their delicious chicken burger! If you love Korean fried chicken and juicy burgers! Then y'all need to check out their new spot in Oakland on Broadway! If you like Spicy juicy KBBQ pork, then the Ohgane Burger is for you. It's like having KBbq, but on a burger. So good! Their tasty Impossible Burger for those who are vegetarian or vegan, and the Tteokboki with the Yang 'Yum' sauce was interesting and they tasted good together. I'm still dreaming of their cheese curds.

(This is 2 restaurants with one kitchen, so this review has been cross-posted to Oh G Burger.) Great spot to get Korean fried chicken and Korean snacks, with friendly service and reasonable prices. No wait on a Wednesday at lunch. It was easy to find metered street parking right outside, but it might be more challenging at busy times. John at the counter was super friendly and helpful in choosing what to order. I like spicy food but I also like not suffering, so I asked about their Buldak Chicken Burger. John told me honestly that it's insanely spicy. They make their own Buldak spicy sauce and he said he personally ensures it's as spicy as possible. Given that, I opted for the K-Chicken burger, as well as some Korean snacks and cheese curds. The boyfriend got the K-Chicken Burger Jr. and seasoned fries. K-Chicken Burger: Comically huge, which makes it a fun challenge to eat. Crunchy and flavorful. Shrimp toast: SO GOOD. Crispy, delicious shrimp squares. A must-get. Corn cheese: A miss for me. Too sweet, but at least you get a huge portion. Seasoned fries: Also amazing. Tons of sweet Korean seasoning that made for a wonderful side to our burgers. Cheese curds: Delicious and perfect, especially with their house-made KTI sauce (Korean Thousand Island). We were also happy with the value for our money - you get A LOT of food for a price that doesn't break the bank. My only real regret is not getting more food from the Oh G Burger side. At least now I have an excuse to come back!

Amazing chicken sandwiches and even better service. They're so fast yet their food is so delicious! I also love how there's so much seating inside the store! Also, I recommend getting their shrimp toast!

Came here on a Saturday night and it was completely empty, probably because they're pretty new. I ordered a K-chicken burger to go. The burger was delicious! The right amount of spice, though I wish there was a bit more al sauce on the burger. Overall, I would return.

I only ordered one item from Chimmelier but if everything else is as good as the popcorn chicken, then sign me up. I dont do spicy but their chicken in the dry rub OMG sauce is one of the better i've ever had. will definitely order from here again

Burger was crazy bomb. Love the garlic aioli. Chicken Jr. was perfect amount to accompany the burger. Friend got some seasoned fries which had a pretty good but not great sweet and spicy flavor. Definitely going back for the burger and to try other menu items. Service was good too.

Absolutely not. Ordered a 20$ burger that does not come with fries or a drink, and a kids burger- why was the kids burger bigger than the 20$ burger? SOOOOO MID, sooooo overrated. Very disappointed, I was excited to try this place.

So tasty! Love the kfc from all their locations! Staff is hella chill and the food is on point. Comfortable and clean inside. Give them some business!

Great food and friendly staff the place reminds me of an old diner with Korean flare. I had the K-Chicken Burger and it had a good amount of spice to it. Nice slaw and good sauce that comes inside it.

Very good food! Good prices Will come back again, food is delicioso and big. I Will makenthis place one of My favorite.
