"This shop in Dadeland Mall doesn’t exactly have cones—they have chimney cakes: funnel-shaped cones bigger than your hand and similar to puff pastry dough. They’re rolled and cooked right in front of you, with savory and sweet options. We like ours sweet, dusted in sugar, and filled with soft serve. Our favorite order is the pistachio and choco cookies: vanilla soft serve, pistachio, and chunks of crispy chocolate chip cookies. This thing is big enough for two people or an entire meal if you want to go it alone." - virginia otazo, ryan pfeffer, mariana trabanino

What a refreshing experience was to try this place… came to get coffee but was immediately drawn to the interesting options! The freshest caesar salad comes wrapped in a delicious roll serves warm and it’s so tasty! The capresse sandwich was also good. Their guava and nutella rolls are a must try and unfortunately I didn’t get ro try their award winning soft served ice cream so I’m looking forward to the next time I come!

I love their caesar salad savory come here. I also tried the BLT and it’s literally all delicious. Pamela and all the girls are very sweet and willing to help and they are usually well staffed so there is barely any wait time. I also love their coffee. They have a cute little sitting area now along with special promotions this month 🤪 I’ll Be back and take advantage of those and my rewards

Google
Very unique place with a lot of cone options ranging from sweet to savory. I just wished that ice cream had better quality and more flavour options, but overall very good, prices are not crazy either. Located next to Apple store at dadeland mall.

Who doesn’t love edible cones! I really like this place! They have unique desserts and flavours. Their portion sizes are good. We got their chocolate passion. Was big enough for 2 people. It didn’t have any chocolate shavings on it but was still really good. Would come back here again. Wish they had other size options though.

I walked into Chimney Cake, I was immediately drawn to the cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the smell of fresh-baked chimney cakes wafted through the air, making my mouth water with anticipation. After scanning the menu, I decided to try the Nutella-Banana Cone, which turned out to be an excellent choice. The ice cream was creamy and smooth, with a rich and indulgent Nutella flavor that was perfectly balanced by the sweetness of the ripe bananas. The cone itself was a work of art, with a crispy and chewy texture that provided the perfect contrast to the silky ice cream. Overall, I can't recommend Chimney Cake enough. The ice cream and chimney cakes are both exceptional, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. Whether you're looking for a sweet treat to cool down on a hot day or just want to indulge in something decadent, Chimney Cake is definitely worth a visit.

If you've never tried a dessert or ice cream like this, it's always worth a try for a unique experience to storytell later. I've been eager to try this place out ever since I heard about its grand opening last month. I was told they're more popular for the ice cream menu which involves putting ice cream into their special sugar-coated chimney cake cone. I opted for just the chimney cake which is what first drew me here. Price is $5.78 including tax for one chimney cake. I was able to cut the chimney cake into 7 round pieces that can fill two to three people's stomachs. It pairs well with coffee. I took it home to eat so I don't know how it would've tasted if it was fresh but the flavor was okay, nothing spectacular. Be forewarned it is very diabetes-inducing sweet because the outer layer is coated with a heavy dose of sugar so you are guaranteed to be eating sugar with every bite. It does get a little addicting to eat once you start chewing into the cake layer after getting over the sugar shock. Kids will probably like this more.

Google
I love everything! Thanks Pamela for your recommendations. I love this ice cream

Google
Ice cream is good, but the cones are not easy to eat and will get all over the place and make a mess… it might be OK for a sandwich but for ice cream definitely does not work

Yelp
Super cute spot for some. coffee, dessert and other sweet treats. They have dough cones sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar and other sugars. They have small desserts which they keep refrigerated. I only had coffee which was great but moms had this apple dessert which she devoured. I'd say check it out if you have a sweet tooth. Take your time with the menu cause they have all different treats in and out of cones and ice cream and delish treats.

Yelp
I have been eyeing this place for a while for its unique usage of cone bread. Located in the main entrance of Dadeland Mall you will find Chimney cake which has both a savory and sweet menu. It took two visits for me to try more than one item. During my first visit I only ordered the ham and cheese cone which contained the standard ham and cheese while the cone was not really toasted. We decided to give a second chance and ordered their caprese cone and trio of their dessert options . This time the cone came warm and toasted, making it a lot more tastier. For dessert we ordered dulce de leche, Nutella, and guava with cheese. The cones were dusted with cinnamon sugar and were excellent, with my personal favorite being the guava. I really like the concept here I hope to see it grow to other locations.

Yelp
Such a fun and spontaneous dessert, would get again! Loved the soft serve and the pistachio coating!

Yelp
I really wanted to do like this place. I first had chimney cakes in the Czech republic several years ago, and was excited to see they had come to Miami the first time I tried to go here they didn't have any chimney cakes made yet, and the wait was longer than I wanted to stay I finally got to try them and can say I was not impressed. I ordered one of the ones that was on the board and despite the fact it had listed the ingredients the woman behind the counter was clueless. She was putting things in there that weren't listed. I ended up just taking it as it was the ice cream was OK however, the chimney cakes which should've been the star tasted as if it was left over from the day before. Not quite what you would expect paying nine dollars for I wish them well I can't say that I will be returning.

Yelp
Come with me to Chimney Cake & Co located in Dadeland Mall. They offer chimney cakes with different fillings. They have some yummy options on their menu and you can also build your own. I ordered the Chocolate Passion and my mom went with the build your own. The Cholate Passion is made with a Cocoa crunch Chimney Cone, Belgian chocolate inside, chocolate ice cream, shaved chocolate, brownies & chocolate sauce. My mom went with a chimney cone filled with chocolate ice cream and strawberry pieces. It was really good, but I wish the consistency of the ice cream would have been less runny.

Yelp
A highly underrated establishment. Though the store was empty, the service was impecable. The employee made sure that the ice cream's presentation looked just like the marketing around the store. As for the store front, it's a modern and colorful interpretation of an old fashioned ice cream parlor. I haven't tried their savory selections yet, but if I do, I'll update my review. Enjoy.

Yelp
We were so excited 'cause we wanted to try the ice cream from this store. Nice ice cream, nice ambiance, the price is so high for a cup of ice cream. I can get a better one from costco for 3$. Service was so bad, there is a Mr. Sour person who looks like he doesn't want to be there and a face that is asking us why we came in. I won't go again and don't recommend it to anyone

Yelp
Great Food !!! Great customer service! Will come back again. You need to try their cones

Yelp
I was so excited for this place but was left really underwhelmed? I had chimney cakes in Prague and fell in love with them, so imagine my excitement when I saw this open in Miami, we drove for almost an hour to get here. However, I was really not impressed. I ordered a cinnamon sugar cone and was given a regular sugar cone (in fact, it tasted just like regular sweet Venezuelan bread), my companion ordered one thing and they gave him two separate things (they charged both of course, and I didn't notice until later); he also asked for ice cream and we had to go back and ask for it since it was never brought out. We just came to the conclusion that the cashier, despite being super nice and friendly, did not understand what we asked. The cake/bread itself was good, but again, it just tasted like the sweet Venezuelan bread that I grew up with, not the Hungarian one I tried in Prague. I wish this business all my love but I will not be returning, at least for now.

Yelp
Great service and delish dessert! Our first time here we tried the Winter Wonderland Chimney cone and it was 10/10. Highly recommend this spot, they have sweet and savory options.

Yelp
Having just been to Prague where these treats are everywhere, I was super excited to see this open close to me. I really wanted it to be good and I would love to see it improve and succeed so I'm giving a well intended and honest review. First, the place is very attractive and the decor is really nice. It is very clean and the colors are pleasant. Even more pleasant was the young gentleman who helped us. He explained how it all works and what each ingredient was and he should be commended. Onto the "cake" (called trdelnik in Czechia)... simply put, it was cold and dense. I understand that in Prague there's a constant stream of people buying these treats which means they're constantly baking new ones so you always get a piping hot, fluffy cone and, in contrast, this new place hasn't reached the demand yet to keep them flowing. Another thing I noticed in Prague is how you could smell the dough, cinnamon, and sugar for blocks away. Here, you can't even get a scent inside the store. Something else I'd suggest is to have bigger and better photographs that are easy to see from outside the store. "Chimney Cakes" are not something South Floridians know about so visuals would go a long way. Again, I wish this business well and it is obvious a lot of money has gone into a nice, attractive presence. I hope my comments and suggestions prove useful.

Yelp
The concept is fantastic, but I wish the cone was a bit fresher, other than that, I was a fan. The price is $9.25 for an ice cream cone, which I believe is a little high, if it were closer to $7 I would return.
