DO NOT EAT HERE! Our food was awful. One dish had raw meat and the other had a chemical taste to it. I called to complain and since I ordered on their website, the restaurant couldn’t refund me my money. I called the website for a refund and I’m still waiting for them to process it.

Google
We ordered takeout and in my order was suppose to be sesame chicken which was actually just deep fried breaded chicken with no flavor. The fried shrimp also didn’t really have any flavor and were not crunchy. The pork fried rice was the only thing that I thought was decent but it was average compared with other places I have previously had. Perhaps dining in is a better option for this place

Google
Came here after spending the afternoon up at Mary’s peak. It’s been years since I’ve been here and it tastes just as great as it did back then. Not exactly sure what people are complaining about. This ain’t panda. This is an actual sit down Chinese restaurant where it’s all made to order so it will definitely be different than you are used to. Of course your food will be hard if you waited 20 mins to eat it. 🤷 I had the number 5. Sweet and sour pork, with fried rice and I substituted fried shrimp instead of the egg roll. Great flavor. The rice was good enough that it didn’t need soy sauce. It’s as if it was cooked with it. It was around $14. Little speedy but about average for most places now.

Google
China Blue was highly recommended by my staff and clients. I ordered egg roll, crab rangoon, cashew chicken, and something like spicy orange chicken. This was possibly the worst Chinese food I have ever had. The egg roll and crab were not even crispy, the cashew chicken looked slimy, and the orange chicken has no taste. I ordered fried rice and got white rice. Total disappointment. And we paid over $45 for food we threw away.

Google
Went back for lunch today Chicken chow mein, egg fu young, fried rice BBQ pork. All amazing for just $17!0 Amazing food and value! China Blue will not disappoint you. The amount of food you get for the price is impressive. We always take home enough for another meal or two

Google
Worst ever Chinese takeout! Bland, tasteless sesame chicken; Lo-Mein w/soggy veg & noodles, watered-down sizzling soup, tasteless w/same soggy veg; weird-looking “old” overcooked beef-fried rice; Fried noodles? Old & tasteless, not fried? All topped off w/a greasy veg roll & no napkins! Yuck! Save your cash! Eat anywhere else! Was told to return food for refund! Certainly would if not for a 2-hr drive! (It’s in the trash!)

Google
China Blue is my go-to place for Chow Fun, Chinese rice noodles. Other places in town have not met my expectations and China Blue always delivers. And their lunch specials are AMAZING 👏 🤩

Michael Woffendin

Google
They must have changed owners in the last few years because now everything is disappointingly bland. The general Tso’s chicken (misspelled To’s on the menu) had hardly any spice, the chicken chow mein was mainly steamed bean sprouts with unseasoned chicken, and the almond chicken was bland with an anemic watery sauce. The fried rice was just steamed white riced with a few tiny pieces of scrambled egg. It’s a shame, because I grew up enjoying this place. For what it’s worth though, they were extremely fast.

Yelp
China Blue was absolutely amazing. I had a family emergency and needed to feed a lot of people quickly. I placed an order through Yelp but followed up with a phone call due to the size of the order placed. I did not disclose why I needed it. They had a VERY large order ready in less than 30 minutes. They helped me carry it to my car. So the service was obviously fantastic. The food was EVEN BETTER. The quality was amazing. The portions were plentiful. Absolutely hands down great food! Thank you!

Yelp
Got the chicken trio. Hard to differentiate the three chickens because they look and taste the same. But they were very good. Great service. Lots of good, big portions.

Yelp
Went back hoping for the good salt and pepper shrimp I had the first time. Thought I would give them another shot. Mostly because the people are nice. The WORST meal ever the shrimp tasted like plain grease with a giant bundle of cilantro leaves and stems piled on top never had cilantro before. The rice noodle was more of that yucky grease flavor with raw chunks a bell pepper a tiny bit of precooked chicken. Disgusting bad service to top it off!! Never ever will I go back.

Lee H.

Yelp
It was the first time I had their food. We ordered takeout, and while we didn't expect authentic Chinese food, the food was so bland! We will never go back.!

Bill W.

Yelp
Used to be good. Then they jacked their prices. Dinner for 3 is almost $80. They gave us the wrong rice, and missed 2 parts of our order, and gave no condiments. To-go was a bad idea tonight.

Yelp
we ordered from here on doordash, the cheese rangoons were very good. My problem was that when I opened my chicken chow mein it was literally entirely bean sprouts. no noodles at all. the chicken was alright but not that great, overall won't be coming back :/

Yelp
Very disappointing :( We had decided to go all out and splurge for a lil birthday treat. Wasted our money. I'm an adventurous and optimistic person. Even if I don't love something, I can still enjoy it. But I had a really hard time with this food... We ordered multiple items (rangoons, fried rice, noodles, chicken, soup, etc.) and every item was mid or just plain bad. We were starving, but we only got a few bites in before we had to throw in the towel. As an environmental advocate, I RARELY waste food... but there was no way we were going to finish this. All the dishes tasted like nothing! We ordered two different flavors of chicken, and we were unable to tell them apart :( I love to spend my money locally, but I would rather go to a chain than here ever again.

Yelp
If you do not want to read the whole review. 'This was by far the most disappointing food experience I have had in the last 30 years (...and I am 30 years old). It was so bad that we ended up dropping our takeout order back at the restaurant next morning because we just couldn't trash so much food away.' Six of us were traveling through Oregon for thanksgiving and this was one of the very few places open on thanksgiving eve. There were multiple red flags throughout the ordering experience which we chose to ignore given the lack of options (No food recommendations, a huge order had an ETA of 15mins). The food was delivered in a box and not a single item on the order was edible (we had close to 10 varieties), not even the basic fried rice. 1. The ketchup was NEON PINK. 2. The egg fried rice had barely any EGG. 3. The veggie rolls were the SIZE of mini burritos. 4. The rangoons ONLY had cream cheese, just cream cheese. 5. The entrees were straight up BLAND. Throughout our trip we made it a point to support small businesses and this time we felt that we wasted huge portions of food. I couldn't fathom how the place ended up having above than average reviews. One of my friends summarized it best "I prefer store bought clementines over this."

Yelp
Plenty of parking and no wait! Staff is very friendly and very attentive to the needs of their tables. This is definitely a last resort Chinese food place. For starters, our fried wantons were simply just that, fried wantons with nothing on the inside. Our egg flour soup was very liquidy and appeared as though the chef had poured a birds eye bag of mixed veggies into the soup. The veggies that should have been in our egg friend rice that we ordered that was simply white rice with egg pieces in it. The presentation of the food is definitely promising although the taste doesn't knock me off my feet. The entrees are very salty be warned. I must also add that their red sauce is more compared to a chili sauce and their spicy mustard has literally no flavor. It's just spicy at the start and then a bland aftertaste. If you're looking for decent Chinese in a pinch for prices I would considered "average" this is your place.

Steve G.

Yelp
I was surprised at how good the food was at lunch. Partially because there was only one other table occupied. I had the lunch special of Five Spice Chicken, two egg rolls and hot and sour soup. All was very good and only $8.95.

Leah Nicole D.

Yelp
I would give this place a 0/5. Not a Karen or anything, but this food is not giving. There is no flavor, this is foul. I am sad that I spent money on this. :( My friend and I went out for a lil b day treat and instead we got not a treat but something very sad. Very disappointing, would not recommend.

Daniel S.

Yelp
We had the food delivered by Grubhub. It was quick and food was warm enough. The problem is that one item was missing and the vegetable soup for our vegetarian daughter had chicken. The food that was appropriately delivered and prepared tasted fine. It was not great but we all finished our meals. The restaurant gave us the missing sweet and sour chicken but we had to pick it up. The vegetarian daughter picked it up prior to realizing her order was wrong. We did not bother replacing hers.

Ada M.

Yelp
I ordered chicken Hazelnut and pork fried rice. It was disappointing. It looked like Chinese food but the flavor were off.

Yelp
China Blue Cafe combo portions are huge! Makes for great leftover for lunch the next day. I always order a combo and typically #5. And don't mess around with the spicy label- those plates are truly hot! Egg rolls are also quite weighty with what I would describe as a less traditional filling and different texture but still tasty overall.

Yelp
We have not found a good Chinese restaurant in a long time. This place is amazing, the server who's name we never got was a young girl with glasses and she was extremely nice and perfect. We had our three children with us and was extremely playful with our 1 year old. One of our children is has a strictly gluten free diet and they where able to accommodate her very easily. If anyone has a chance to do take out or sit down here I highly recommend it. Will not hurt your wallet.

Yelp
High price for TERRIBLE, possible unsafe food. First time I tried this restaurant, if it can be called that. Maybe a take and cook. The reviews are filled with uncooked raw food. My experience as well. I literally had to RECOOK my soup, not heat it up...RECOOK it because event he Wantons weren't done. Food filled with huge chunks of raw random vegetable (huge chunks of uncooked Zuccini to take up space and full mushrooms). This place is abysmal, and I suspect anyone eating there is risking food borne illnesses, because my daughter's food had to be thrown away after she had already eaten some undercooked chicken. If she gets sick, well, there's lawyers for that. I advise anyone who likes healthy, good, warm, cooked food to go to ANY other place in town...high price for TERRIBLE, possible unsafe food.

Paige R.

Yelp
China blue is absolutely amazing. Best customer service I have ever had hands down. Wanda is the best and their kitchen staff too. I cannot say enough good things about this place. When I say they will bend over backward for you, trust me I mean it. 20/10 order from here. You will NOT regret it.

Yelp
My takeout was ready and the staff was nice. Pretty average, very American General Tso and steamed rice. Nice size for the price! I managed two meals from the lunch version!
google avatar

Yelp
Meh! It's okay, not a fan of the pork fried rice or vegetable rolls. Beef and broccoli lacked seasoning but was okay

Yelp
I kinda got the impression that the place was shady when Me and a friend pulled into the parking lot. There is a sign that says "China blue parking only" so we parked and someone in the building saw us get out of the car. They came out of the side door, and tried to be inconspicuous as they watched which business we went into. The adult dildo shop next door or China Blue. Turns out we SHOULD have went into the adult shop because we were about to get screwed anyhow! We walked in, and there was an older waitress standing by the register. She looked at us, and we looked at her. She looked at us, and we looked at her, and she looked at us, and we looked at her, and she looked at us, and we looked at her, and she looked at us until I FRIGGIN SAID HELLO! She walked away from us, and TOSSED menus on a table then left. Sounds like I"m exaggerating or kidding right? I'm not. This food better be amaaaaaazing!! After about 8 min someone came and put 2 glasses of water on the table and left without saying anything. I was beginning to feel like we were not wanted in the building. Some people at another table ordered the 7 item challenge. If you can finish a big ass plate of deep fried grease with bits of chicken strewn about, they give you like 900 bucks or something. I would like to see the list of people that were able to complete it because the look on the face of the dude that tried the challenge clearly didn't finish it, but on the way out we heard them say "Lets just go to Arby's". Our food came, and I can say without a doubt that the egg foo young they brought to me was the WORST I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE!! Look at the pic i uploaded, and then look online for what it is. You will see there is a BIG difference from what is is vs what they serve. Fun Fact - Egg Foo Young is not ever severed with a MAYONNAISE based sauce!!!! China Blew (sic) is a pioneer in that aspect. The person I was with had sweet and sour chicken, and they brought sesame deep fried chicken. When she pointed it out they gave her a small dish of sweet and sour sauce to pour over her food. At that point we should have left, but I was hungry, and it was obvious she was being polite so we tried to eat. No go. I only ate half, she ate less that that, and so we left. It seems some people really really like this place, but I don't understand why. My friend said its probably because they don' t really have anything to compare to. I think she's right. If you have ever had what you consider to be GOOD Chinese food, stay away from here.

Yelp
Sharing the lot with the local porno establishment lies this neat little place. The menu is large and expansive. I've had take-out twice here so far with no complaints. The kung pao beef was good, with a hearty sauce. Not greasy at all, but lacking in heat. Be sure to mention you want it spicy or you'll get it very low key. The rangoon was also very good, and not at all greasy. Another night I gave the sweet and sour chicken a whirl. This was a very good example of the dish. The sauce was obviously not the typical weird bright red straight-out-of-a-drum type, which I thank god for. Finally good sweet and sour. It's application was also just right, as the chicken still retained it's crisp despite the sauce. A few more veggies in the dish would be nice. Potstickers here were a-o.k. as well, accompanied with a tasty sauce for dunking. Don't be scared of the porno-mart. You'll thank me. And if you are scared, just park next door and walk over. Sissy.

Yelp
For almost 16 years my family and I have been going to China Blue every time we came to Corvallis. This was the first time I have ever complained about the food only to find out it was under new owners. Which makes complete sense because the food was absolutely unedible and a horrible imitation of Asian Cuisine! This is also the first time I've ever eaten a few bits of food and lost my appetite to the point that anything else seemed unappetizing.

Yelp
In the 19th century, Chinese restaurants developed American Chinese cuisine when they modified their food for American tastes. Most Chines are surprised by what is being served as Chinese food. China Blue is the oldest Chinese restaurant in town serving traditional "American Chinese food." (had 30+ years of history) It was a very "interesting" experience I had with China Blue... I have had many American Chinese food experiences... panda express, p.f. cheung, etc. I am not saying I hate the food.... but, I can almost categorize China Blue as something "non-Chinese"... Something have it own "taste" rather than Chinese food... I saw many unrecognizable name for dishes... The owner is great and he was being so nice for answering many questions my friend and I had... They suggested us to order something from the dinner combination or lunch mix and match... This is one of the places in town still servicing the real American Chinese cuisines with "fried-noodle" and "Chop suey" , which I admit I am not a big fan of... after having the experience with China Blue. Maybe I should've tried ordering something I familiar with next time instead of deep-fried and coated in sugar-laden sauce items... I'll give it a second try though. one star for their service, one star for the environment, and another star for their history....
google avatar

Erianna M.

Yelp
The rice was good. But everything else was just, meh. They did not give us enough sweet and sour chicken. And the chow mein was just bean sprouts with chicken in it.
google avatar

William G.

Yelp
Ordered the tempeh chow mein and got tempeh and bean sprouts, literally all bean sprouts in sauce with tempeh. Not sure if that's how they normally do it at China Blue but from my experience chow mein is typically a noodle. That being said, also ordered the salt and pepper shrimp which was good. I'll try again sometime and find out if chow mein = bean sprouts.
google avatar

Michael L.

Yelp
This was the first time we have been here since it has had new owners. The past owner was nice but his closing staff was meh. The new owners have made this place better. The food seemed cleaner, ie fresh oil versus tired for some of it. The menu was a little easier to navigate, they had a gluten free combo which the wife enjoyed. My son and I were able to enjoy our chicken fried rice and gluten free lemon chicken. We did ask for the sauce on the side, but it was made incorrectly. They quickly took it back and remade it correctly for us. One nice new thing is the steamed rice was refillable which made our meal better.

Jackie K.

Yelp
I used to love this restaurant, they had the best chicken chowmein with lots of bean sprouts, chicken and vegetables. What I got for take out today was nothing like that. The egg foo young was hard and tough and the gravy had a stale almost rancid taste. The sweet and sour chicken were barely chewable because the breading was so hard. I am somewhat shocked to see this change and definitely disappointed. I don't know if they changed owners or if the financial tragedy of Covid has created this change. I hope they return to their former recipes and quality.

Yelp
China Blue restaurant has great food despite the fact it's beside a shady "adult store." Be sure to park in the "China Blue parking only." It's an Americanized, and sometimes Pacific Northwest, take on Chinese cuisine. They have hazelnut chicken, definitely an "only in Oregon" thing. Their Buddha's feast, usually vegetarian/vegan, contains beef. Among the hits are their hot&sour soup, lemon&orange chicken, pot stickers, and fried rice. While the service can be slow, they have generous portions. A fun, friendly place.
google avatar

Dustin E.

Yelp
If you can get past the shame of parking in the same lot as middle-aged, balding men frequenting the adult shop next door, you'll be pleasantly surprised. Once you get inside, you'll see an updated interior and spacious seating. Most servers are very nice - some are actually quite funny. I've noted a number of other Yelpers that complain about a "cranky lady" (and other colorful descriptions). I know of whom you speak, and she is not the sunniest of dispositions. However, please remember that many of these individuals work very long hours and the language barrier is a real challenge for some. I speak Mandarin with her and (though it's very amateurish) it made a big difference in my interactions with her. The menu is standard American-Chinese fare (with the exception of the hazelnut chicken, but more on that later) and food arrives promptly when dining in. Carry-out orders are usually ready in 10-15 minutes. About the hazelnut chicken - it's a unique dish and outstandingly good. It's sweet, but more creamy than glazed. I recommend ordering one spicy dish and the hazelnut chicken and splitting with a friend. The restaurant has been clean the times I've dined in, though I more frequently carry-out. Of the Chinese food options in Corvallis, this is near the top.

Yelp
Horrible experience!!! We got completely raw in the middle chicken and they didn't even try to refund us. Never going back. It was a horrific experience and I don't see myself recommending this lace to anyone. If I could give less than one star, I totally would.
google avatar

Lenora M.

Yelp
This is not the China Blue that I was expecting. I ordered my usual favorites; Chicken Corn Soup, Chicken Chop Suey, and Spicy Chicken, expecting the same flavorful dishes that they been consistently for years. I was sadly disappointed. I don't like writing a negative review but I at least want to give an FYI to others as a warning that this China Blue is "not" what it use to be...

Ryan K.

Yelp
Hands down worst Chinese food I've ever had. Egg rolls were absolutely disgusting. Portion of sweet and sour chicken was tiny compared to the huge pile of subgum chow mein with chewy, slimy, chicken. My wife and I each ordered a different combination plate and out of the two the only item that was edible was the fried rice.
google avatar

Susanna K.

Yelp
The only reason for not giving it 5 stars, is the decor-. it really needs help!!! The prices are not too high, as you get huge portions- I can never eat more that half. They let you order off the menu- I always order rice noodles, prawns, snow peas, water chestnuts, and, shitaki mushrooms, with brown sauce on the side. I have spring rolls with sweet and sour sauce, for an appetizer. I'm going to call, and, make sure if this is still true, but, they offer a free meal on your birthday.
google avatar

Yelp
Person at the counter was quick, courteous, and had my food ready when I had arrived. My food was also quite good!

Yelp
Superb Chinese Cuisine. Not too expensive (just enough that we don't get to get it very often...) Great staff, can order to go. Mmmm

Yelp
I returned to China Blue on May 10, managing to persuade my friend to attempt the Lucky 7 Challenge. Seven different types of chicken, which could be anywhere from 6-7 pounds. Eat it all and the meal is free, plus a cash prize. I became a bit more normal for a change and ordered a lemon chicken lunch special ($7.50). Added $1 by getting brown rice instead. I started with a tasty Egg Fu Yung soup. Wonderfully prepared. My entree featured juicy, delicious chicken, as usual. A very noticeable lemony flavor, but not overpowering. I finished my meal pretty quickly. But my thoughts shifted to my brave (crazy) friend who attempted the Lucky 7 Challenge. But if my friend is crazy, does that make me twisted and sadistic for persuading him to do it? (Yes.) Chicken varieties included hazelnut (signature item), orange, lemon, sweet & sour, Hunan, Mandarin, and General Tso. He made a small dent in the challenge before throwing in the towel. I munched on some of the chicken afterwards, then tanked the small blue bowl of hazelnut chicken. I wouldn't call it a lifelong dream to tank that much hazelnut chicken, but damn, was that tasty. The entire family-sized platter will easily feed a family. You'll probably have a bunch of leftovers -- and you may not want poultry for the next few weeks. But for about $30, it's a pretty awesome deal. Our servers -- same two people from my original visit -- were very good. My friend's birthday was the previous day, so he received a coupon for $10 off the Lucky 7 Challenge. Now that's a cool present! After this experience, I'd be screwed if I took this challenge on. Just consuming excess amounts of breaded, heavy-sauced, stir-fried chicken makes my stomach wince. But people have done it before. The cash pot is an ultimate motivator. We'll see what happens....

Yelp
It's been about a year since my first and last time here, but how could I forget the service? I recall the food being okay, but nothing special, and I recall the price being fine. The service though, was utterly shocking. I have never experienced such terrible service. I was with my roommate, and there was only one other group there. The waitress / hostess wordlessly seated us and tossed the menus in our direction. I thought maybe by being very friendly her mood would improve, or maybe I was over analyzing. But nope. We ordered and she near-wordlessly accepted our orders without any smiles. After we finished, we finally got a smile from the manager, who dropped off fortune cookies for us. When the waitress came by to give us our check, she put two more fortune cookies down with the check, but realized there were already two, so she snatched them back up with a scowl. Then, when we went to pay up front, she printed out the receipt for me to sign, and left. I signed and (regretfully) tipped and stood there with my roommate wondering what to do with the receipt now that she was back in a booth watching shows on her laptop. I just left it near the cash register. There are better places to get Chinese in Corvallis.

Yelp
Okay, so let me start off by saying I'm not a big fan of chinese food. Never been a fan of most of the sauces, I find it to be overly greasy, and well...it's just not my thing. My husband, however, craves it constantly, and I always feel bad shooting him down. It has easily been about 5 or 6 years since I tried it last, so I gave in tonight and figured I'd find something I could eat. The restaurant was pretty empty, only a couple people on a Saturday night, that was a little off putting, but it seemed to get good reviews on yelp, so we stuck around anyhow. The menu is pretty big, they have a lot of options (including a small vegan and gluten free section, though I'm not too interested in that kinda stuff). He ordered for me, things he thought I would like, things that were pretty safe: potstickers, chicken fried rice, and orange chicken (medium spicy). The food came out quickly, and you know? Everything was really good! Potstickers were the right amount of crunchy, and even though the other two plates of food were HUGE, it wasn't very greasy, the orange chicken was all white meat, and there were also huge chunks of chicken in the rice. Definitely generous with the portions. We stuffed ourselves, and barely put a dent in either plate. We'll have leftovers for a couple lunches for sure. So China Blue, you have changed my mind about chinese food after all. Hope it wasn't a fluke!

Yelp
Impressive food with an even more impressive experience. My husband has been talking about going here for a while to try the famous pork fried rice. Tonight just happened to work out great for our first visit to China Blue. It was my first time, but my husband came here when he was much younger and he always got the General Tso's Chicken. After a few minutes of reviewing the menu, a very enthusiastic man walked up to see what we thought of the menu and started to tell us about two dishes he was very proud of. These dishes included the Hazelnut Chicken and of course the Pork Fried Rice. He told me to sit tight while he got me a sample of each. I have NEVER been offered a sample at your ordinary Chinese restaurant. After trying the samples I knew exactly what I was ordering, and of course the husband was going to stick with what he knew he liked years ago. Our order included Hazelnut Chicken, General Tao's Chicken, and Pork Fried Rice. The food was out in a jiffy and it was great! The husband and I have tried a dozen different General Tao's Chicken dishes and have never been really impressed. My husband realized that every other time he ordered General Tao's Chicken within the past 10 years, he was searching for the flavors that only China Blue had offered in this dish. Their version was wonderful! Light crispy batter and a wonderful zingy sauce without extreme sweet. The pork fried rice is very light, flavorful, and a great texture. Not greasy at all. The Hazelnut Chicken is nothing like you have tried before. It is also in a light crispy batter and the sauce is sweet to the point of decadence. The "waiter" (he was so much more than that) was sure to give us enough time before coming over to get our feedback on the food. He took the time to tell us how the Hazelnut Chicken dish was created by joining Hong Kong and Western cuisine. He made sure to ask where abouts we lived so we can take advantage of the $1 Pork Fried Rice Tuesdays. He told us about their food challenge and gave me his pen with all the restaurant info to keep in my purse as a reminder. The 5 stars is very much based off the great experience we had with our waiter. You will know who he is when walking in the door because his picture is all over the entrance with their food challenge winners. It isn't often that you get that much enthusiasm and excitement about the food they serve and that is what made this place memorable. Aaaaand the Chicken!

Yelp
China Blue resolved the issue at hand and they were really nice about it. I will be returning to this establishment for my childrens next birthday meal! Thanks China Blue.

Yelp
The best thing I can say is that the good was decent. This is probably the fourth time I've been here in all the years I've been in Corvallis. We live close now so we were hoping it would be our new go to Chinese restaurant. The service on the other hand was some of the worst I've ever seen in a restaurant. There were two people on staff serving. Our server was an older lady (seemed like the Manager) and she could care less about us. In fact it seemed we were a total nuisance bring there. I felt like a burden. There were only a 3 or 4 other tables of people at dinner time on a Thursday. We ordered their specialty pork fried rice. Apparently it's the best in town...? It wasn't bad but I noticed the pork/meat was ground up in a way. I'm not sure...it was red. And there were pieces of white pork too but I don't know why it was ground up. Seemed a little shady, but tasted okay. My husband's "spicy" dish was not the least bit spicy. Sorry I don't recall the name of the dish. Overall okay food but not worth the service experienced.

Yelp
Ordering through Yelp was super convenient! Everything tasted as you would expect from a somewhat Americanized Chinese restaurant. Overall the takeout was good. I got the #8 dinner special and the pork fried rice was the best part! The other person liked their sweet and sour chicken but would want sauce on the side. We ordered hot and sour soup and that was the best thing in the whole order. Next time I would get hot and sour soup and pork fried rice!

Yelp
The best Chinese food in Corvallis, without a doubt. The owners are very friendly, however the atmosphere is not that great. I feel like I'm sitting in a refurbished Denny's, not to mention it is right next to the Adult Shop, so you see plenty of characters while you're entering and leaving the restaurant. Not really the owners fault, just something to keep in mind. I usually get China Blue to go. Food stays hot and fresh all the way home. The owners listen carefully to your order and almost always get your order exactly how you like it. If not, bring it back and they'll fix it, plus throw in some extra fortune cookies. Prices aren't bad, but for the quality and portion size of food you're getting, it's beyond worth it. I highly recommend the Hazelnut Chicken and Hot and Sour Soup. If you're looking for the best value for your money, get the Chicken Fried Rice.

Yelp
The hazelnut chicken is awesome and their fried rice is really good too. My wife and I sometimes drive into corvallis for no other reason than to get dinner here.

Yelp
I had Hong Kong style noodles with chicken and 2 fresh egg rolls! So good, reasonably priced and friendly staff!

Yelp
I followed the advice of my fellow Yelpers and had the Hazelnut chicken and the hot & sour soup... They were both completely awesome! The hot and sour was the best I've ever had and the hazelnut chicken is different (in a good way), sweet and very, very tasty. I did order the brown rice, but the table next to me got fried rice... It looked so great, next time I will definitely get fried. The service was super friendly. I have found a place for Chinese in Corvallis and it even has a parking lot!! :)

Yelp
Good chicken dishes. My two friends and I ordered the combo plate of chicken (the one they use for the 7 pounds of chicken challenge) and shared. Nom nom nom. And when you're done, you can stop at the adult shop next door ;-)

Yelp
I stopped here for the first time for lunch, and I was pretty impressed. I had a lunch special and was amazed by the amount of food. It was a large plate full of food, easily two meals (three if you're more disciplined than I am). General Tso's is the benchmark by which I compare all Chinese restaurants, and this was mostly unlike any General Tso's I've ever had. It wasn't bad, just different. Heavy soy flavor on the sauce, nice and spicy, and the chicken is only lightly breaded. Pretty tasty. Summary: lots of food for not much money, brought out very quickly and piping hot... it's a winner for a quick lunch.

Yelp
My deep fried shrimp was over cooked and cold when I got it. The rice had a good flavor, except I ordered pork fried rice and I got a brown rice pilaf, I guess I'm use to my usual Chinese restaurant ,this was my first experience with China blue. Over all it could be better. I give this restaurant a 3 star
