We went late hour for a family dinner. Restaurant was about to close for dine however the owner was really kind and accommodating. Really appreciate this. We ordered couple of dishes. Chef shrimp was the best, the garlic and chili flavor in it was on point! Finger licking good tbh. Didn’t like the Bombay chicken ,was below average. Mango salad, Hakka Noodles, fried Calamari all items were good. Good portion, balanced spices with reasonable price. Highly recommended. Owner attended us multiple times, refilled our glasses, staff ladies were very helpful and friendly. Halal options available.

June 7, 2025 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had another great visit to China Cottage. We've been here many times for both dine-in and takeout, and the service is always friendly and reliable. This time, the food took a little longer, about 30 minutes, because of a large group, but it was worth the wait. Everything was delicious, and the portions were big enough that we had plenty to take home.

Date/Time of Visit: June 7 approximately 7pm. Been to China Cottage several times, now it's time for review. It wasn't too busy when we arrived, we were quickly seated. The food did take a while to come out, approximately 30 minutes. The waitress was pleasant and very friendly. The chicken pakora is not the traditional one as they have it as chicken pakora meatball..different but well seasoned, however I think some of the meat gets lost in the breading. The chicken wonton was delicious as well as the chicken fried rice and chili chicken.

We went there yesterday for dinner. One of the best indo-chinese food that we have eaten in a while. There's a whole section for vegetarian options. Special credit goes to the server Ash. We originally picked couple of dishes but cautioned that both will have similar taste and she suggested a different combination that may go well with each other. So we went with her suggestion and absolutely loved it.

I recently visited this place on weekday evening, They were not that busy but staff was very attentive, friendly and polite. We ordered Vegetable Pakora with Manchurian Sauce and Chilli Paneer Gravy and both the items came with Steamed Rice. Vegetable Pakora with Manchurian Sauce was pretty good but Chilli Paneer was a bit underwhelming but all in all I would go to this place again try their other vegetarian offerings.

I usually take out from this place, but for a change decided to dine-in. We wanted to try something new instead of our regular order (highly recommend the Mumbai chicken and Hakka fries). Bri was our server and despite being a new employee, she was able to help us choose a few dishes that we haven't tried before. We went with Mumbai beef, chef special shrimps and Shanghai noodles. They were all cooked to perfection. Although the beef was tasty, I still preferred the chicken. I wanted udon noodles and the Shanghai noodles satisfied my craving 🥰. The owner/manager is always very welcome and so kind! I highly recommend this spot as it is affordable, has great customer service and serves delicious food!

“Great experience at China Cottage! The Manchurian Chicken and Chilli Chicken are our favorites – so flavorful! Bri, our waitress, was friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. Highly recommend!”

I've been coming to China Cottage since I was a kid, and it's always been our go-to place for celebrating special occasions. Over the years, it's become more than just a restaurant, it's a part of our family traditions. Mike, our longtime server, has been looking after us for as long as I can remember. His warm, consistent service truly adds to the experience. The entire staff is friendly and welcoming, and the chef never fails to impress. Every meal is delicious and thoughtfully prepared. Thank you Mike 👌🙌

Yelp
Great mom & pop Hakka restaurant. My family and I enjoy ordering taking out from here as their serving sizes are quite large. The chilli chicken is nothing to rave about but will hit the spot when you're craving it. Service is great, the manager is a really nice and remembers customers that come in. Give it a try if you're craving Hakka food! 2.75/5

Yelp
China Cottage is an Indian styled Hakka restaurant that also offers Thai cuisine. We love Hakka cuisine so naturally we had to try out this restaurant The food was delicious! I honestly couldn't pick a favorite among the dishes we ordered, but the fish might be my favorite. The food is seasoned so well and not too spicy (although you can order it spicier if you'd like). The service was quick, the food served almost in no time. We will definitely be back!

Yelp
One of my cousins had recommended China Cottage years ago, when they first opened this location. She lives near their other location and enjoys their food. I finally had the opportunity to come here! The place is nicely decorated, with a sophisticated look that includes high ceilings, a stone wall, and intimate lighting. It was attractive except for all the footprints showing up on the dark floor, dust under the tables, and upholstery in need of cleaning. It probably looks better in the evening. China Cottage bills themselves as offering Indian style Hakka Chinese, as well as Thai cuisine. I ordered the Manchurian Chicken from their lunch specials menu which includes a choice of soup or drink. I ended up having both. It's a good deal for $10.99 (including soup or drink). The Chicken Corn Soup arrived quickly. It wasn't bad, although I would have preferred a bit more flavour. The Manchurian Chicken, from their Indo Hakka menu, followed shortly after. It was a generous portion of boneless chicken, served with rice and gravy. It was pretty good, nicely seasoned, with just the right amount of gravy. Service was very good - speedy, friendly, and attentive. That, with decent food and good prices, will bring me back.

Yelp
Server all ways greet with a smile and make me feel cared for. The food is great always hot and delicious, overall great place to eat. thank you to my server mike deep and brinkelle for making me have a great experience every time.

Yelp
Great chilli chicken. Have been going to the original location for a longgggg time, drove by and thought I'd try it and see if it's comparable. The extra spicy and gravy definitely hits the spot, would grab again if I'm in the area

Yelp
Came here for Mother's Day with my mother and turned into a frustrating disappointment. They made us wait 2 hours to be seated and get our food. The food has to be good right? It was very bland and cold. We left the night very disappointed and we will not be coming back here. Save your money go somewhere else.

Yelp
Delicious food with large portions perfect for sharing with a large group. The menu has a few indo chinese style fusion dishes. They also boast a Thai section in the back of the menu and I wanted to order the green curry. Our server strongly suggested against it several times and we ended up not getting it. He even went to the kitchen and came back saying that the green curry is not good and it just has coconut milk in it. In fact he didn't recommend ordering any of the Thai dishes. If you can't cook these dishes then why are they on the menu in the first place?

Yelp
Date visited : Saturday April 02, 2022 Overall Rating for experience : 4/5 Comments : We've been coming to China Cottage even before pandemic, just getting around to the review now tho lol. We came for lunch special after we finished our grocery haul for the coming week. They are now accepting Dine-In business again woohoo!! Service : 4/5 On this visit we did have an attentive server. Checking on us at regular intervals, checking water levels etc. Food : 3/5 Normally I would rate the dishes we have at China Cottage more at 4/5 but this visit, was leaning more towards a 3/5. For this specific visit, we ordered off the Lunch specials menu : Ginger Beef, Chicken Teppanyaki & Chimken Hakka Noodles. The Ginger Beef was so red in color, no idea what they added to make it dark red. Also, there was barely any Ginger flavor also it wasn't spicy as the server had stated. As for the Chicken Teppanyaki, it was just okay, I had forgotten that I had ordered the dish before in 2019. The Chicken Hakka Noodles were also more from meh-okay. My wife likes Hakka noodles. So we had enough leftovers of the noodles for her to bring to work. Likely we won't be ordering their Ginger Beef and Teppanyaki Chicken again. There are other Chicken lunch offerings I have tried in the past and have enjoyed more. I'm kinda stuck with Chimken offerings due to beef and pork are an avoid due to managing gout. Drinks : The lunch specials come with the option for a soft drink. Tho I did make a recommendation that at least for those customers that are diabetic there should be a different option than a soft drink. Appears that they do have an option for Chinese Tea. Portion Size Value for Money Spent : 4/5 For a Lunch special at $9.99 CAD you get a good amount of rice + the entree ordered. Worth a repeat visit : Of course! As mentioned we've been somewhat regular diners here pre-pandemic.

Yelp
Inviting dining area, comfortable booths. Our server was welcoming, very patient with us, we were slightly indecisive with our final order. The vegetable pakoras and chicken I'd recommend to start off, crispy and comes with yummy sauce to dip them in. Chicken 88 was intriguing, the name is a bit weird and have heard good things from other reviewers. If you're looking for crispy chicken with no sauce, this is the dish to get. The chili chicken I would say was a let down, bland and didn't have much flavour. I think I also didn't enjoy it because we ordered it with sauce, I'd recommend getting chili chicken dry with no gravy, but this is something that is a personal preference that can defer with others. Again, need to mention our server who came to check on us. Other hakka places I've noticed servers don't really comeback to check on you after you've received your food until it's time to pay, which is a big of a yikes. Think she came over twice to even fill our water! Overall positive experience. Chili chicken, again can't stress this get it dry!
google avatar

Shajitha R.

Yelp
Food was previously amazing but quality of food has gone down hill. Noodles are dry and lack sauce. The meat in the dish was also only a small amount. The price is decent and portions are large but there's so many similar hakka places down the street that I wouldn't recommend this one.

Yelp
I ordered 2 Chilli Chicken today at around noon time for pick up. As soon as I opened the containers they smelt of stale fried chicken, the smell that one would experience if you were to eat yesterdays fried burger/nuggets and then warm it in microwave oven. The chk pieces smelt of stale chicken & it was so strong that I was hesitant to eat any further, and this was the experience in both boxes. Moreover smell of ginger was so strong in the chicken, think yesterdays ginger chk was todays CC. This will be the last time I will be buying anything from China Cottage. It is definitely not worth its price. Poor Quality and Stale meat.

Yelp
Easy location to access. $7.50 mon to fri menu includes soup or pop or egg roll. The meal comes with rice and the protein comes with saucy option and heat option. I can't handle tear jerker heat, this meal was not too hot. The server was very attentive constantly refilling the complimentary tap water. When ordering in the future I may ask for reduced salt, but if premade at the start of day there is minimal option to customize.
google avatar

Yelp
I love the chicken 88 But today I got the spring roll with it and it was so bad, literally a puddle of oil dripping out.. I don't recommend getting the spring roll to go at all. They place it on top of the rice too so it's super soggy The chicken 88 itself is good but the rice tasted old for sure
google avatar

Niv P.

Yelp
I don't typically write negative reviews, but this place gave us the scraped up pieces of Mumbai paneer for takeout. There were maybe 6/7 pieces of paneer for the price of $10.00. The rice was not flavourful, it was dry and tasted like cardboard. If you want Hakka I'd totally skip this place.

Yelp
I've been here a couple of times; and the most recent visit wasn't as nearly as good as I had remembered how it used to be. We take some fault in ordering mostly vegetarian dishes but I've had vegetarian hakka food done good before as well. But if you're looking for Hakka food, there's plenty of better options closeby in the area. This time we had ordered the bombay chicken, the veggie pakora, veggie manchurian paneer fried rice, and some chili paneer. The veggie pakora was a disappointment; I was expecting it to be similar spice wise to the meat pakoras but it wasn't anything similar. They were small discs of mashed veggies and was quite dry, even with the sweet chili sauce. The chili paneer was probably the best dish of the night; the paneer itself was nice, chewy, and soft in tandoori spices. The rice was rather heavy and flat and we got tired of eating it rather quickly. The beef was decent but there's definitely better options to choose. I just think you need to order the right dishes here. Stick with the tried and true dishes because things can be hit and miss here. Service was pleasant, the portions were massive, and the price is definitely cheaper than other competitors which are pluses of China Cottage!

Santhosh B.

Yelp
I have gotten take out from here a few times, the food is always great, the service is very friendly and helpful when ordering. They make the food to your liking and prepare everything quick. The ambience seems nice to dine in but it's great convenient takeout!

Yelp
What is happening here?! I used to LOVE coming here, but the last 2 times I've been here, it wasn't great. Today I went for lunch; the service was not good and the food was .... not how it usually tastes. It seems like they have new waiters and all they cared about was hanging out near the back, laughing and talking. Trying to get their attention was so hard! The water was warm.. which was gross, because we didn't ask for warm water. I got the lunch special, and got vegetable fried rice, chicken 88 and pop. The chicken 88 was good (one of my all time favourites) yet not as good as how it usually tastes. however, the vegetable fried rice was GROSS!

Peter R.

Yelp
An online take-out menu with no pricing! How does that work? It would seem they don't want your business.

Yelp
This is the 2nd location of China Cottage. It is in the plaza of Walmart Super Centre. The interior is really nice, chic and modern! 4 Stars for decoation. The services here is so attentive and friendly! 4 Stars for that! The food, a little disappointed. The Pepper Chicken ($9.25) as appetitzer which the waiter highly recommended is a huge disappointment! It is over cooked and dry. It is so dry that it hurt the inside of the mouth! The waiter cannot get over that we did not enjoy this.... The Shrimp Hakka Noodle Munbai Style ($8.25) is sizable. But the taste is kind of bland. For sure not spicy. It is ok, but I am not sure I will order it again. Food 2 stars! They do have lunch specials for $6.75 with a lot of choices that includes a pop or spring roll or daily soup. Accepts Visa and Mastercard. I might give China Cottage another chance in the future. But not in a rush to go and eat there again!
google avatar

Roshan P.

Yelp
Wow!!! The food here is amazing! Came for lunch, they had their lunch special going on, $7.99! Had the ginger beef and chicken 88, both were great. But be careful the ginger beef is spicy ! Enjoyed the spice! The service is fast and very friendly.

Yelp
I don't have hakka food very often but when I do, I expect it to be spicy. I came with three of my friends who have been here before and told me they died of spice so naturally, I was very intrigued. Our server suggested we get the fish pakoras with sweet/sour sauce to start off and they were very tasty! There was plenty of fish to feed four people as an appetizer so we were happy with portions, however it was a bit pricy. We also ordered 4 meat dishes (crispy beef, garlic chicken, manchurian tofu and chef special spicy wings) and a Szechuan fried rice. The crispy beef wasn't very crispy and it was quite overcooked. The garlic chicken was alright, the sauce was too tomato-y though and not enough garlic. We expected it to be dry but it was super saucy. The tofu was pretty good when it was hot because it was very crisp but over time (of course) it got mushy so eat it all soon! The chef special spicy wings weren't really very spicy and the sauce was quite salty. We did order extra spicy for the manchurian tofu but for me who likes spice didn't find it spicy. Overall a little bit disappointed but maybe i didn't order the right dishes. I would come again to give other dishes a try!

Yelp
Great food & fast service! Ordered chicken 88, lollipop chicken and szechuan fried rice

Yelp
I enjoy Hakka food & this place will satisfy those cravings but I've definitely had better. I'd say this place can be hit or miss which is why I'd give it three stars. I've been here a couple of times & usually get my staple dishes &a then try some new things on the side. I would highly recommend the chef's shrimp, fried calamari, general tsao chicken & their noodle dishes. They never seem to disappoint & are under $10 a plate. I do have to say that the amount they give you for the shrimp, calamari, chicken or protein dishes in general isn't that much. You'd have to order at least two plates to be enough for 4 people, that is if you order a noodle or rice dish. They're good though. I'd stay away from the rice dishes. They normally turn out to be pure salt or pure spice. It's usually oily too. I mean it's not something you can't finish, but there are definitely better options. Overall, I suggest you come here with a group of people to ensure you can order various items & be content. You could get away with a $60 meal for about 5 people.
google avatar

Tanveer K.

Yelp
I had the lunch special the soup was terrible and the chilli chicken was super bland for the price it definitely wasn't worth it. A little salt goes a long way. They just put soy sauce with no other spice I still think federick is the best Hakka place in Markham the service was good that is a positive but the food was terrible

Yelp
I've heard of China Cottage before but have never eaten there. My boyfriend was craving spicy food and knew I've never been there but have wanted to try it. Upon entering the restaurant, you see nice dim lighting and interesting pieces on the walls. It had kind of a romantic cozy atmosphere but doesn't require fancy clothing. Our waiter was very helpful and informative. He explained a little bit about the dishes we were ordering to ensure we got what we really wanted. He even asked if we wanted them to take down the spiciness haha! He got me really worried! Had me thinking lava will be coming out of every orifice! We said to keep it as is. The food came out nice and fresh and didn't take too long. We ordered the chicken 88, crispy beef, and chicken fried rice. We didn't realize the dishes already came with white rice but go big or go home right? It wasn't as spicy as I anticipated nor did it overpower the flavour of the dish. The chicken 88 was so delicious! I'm so glad the portions were quite large because having it for lunch at work the next day was awesome. The chicken was full of flavour and moist, not dry or chewy. The crispy beef, even with a sauce on it, it held up its crunchy factor. My mouth is watering from just thinking about it! This will definitely be a restaurant I'll visit again if I felt like some good, quick, hakka food.

Yelp
My spouse and I tried this place out. We had a Chicken 88, Crispy Beef, Hanka noodles and szechwan rice. Chicken 88 was the star while my spouse wasn't a fan of the crispy beef. The lunch special offers a selection of meals and rice/pastas for $7.50/plate. The menu can manage most diners, vegan, vegetarian, halal and regular. If you are not in to spicy then please tell your server to make a mild version of your order. We had generous portions and the food arrived quickly by friendly staff. The place was very busy even for mid afternoon on a Sunday. However, even with a line up the transition of customers went quickly. Having had our fill, we had enough for leftovers.
google avatar

Vincent C.

Yelp
I've been here a few times for lunch. They have a good selection of items. Comes with choice of soup or a can of pop. I usually get their soup. The three times I've been there, I've gotten corn soup once and hot and sour soup twice. The portion is good and food is yummy. Service is attentive as well.
google avatar

Ali S.

Yelp
The best Haka place in Markham. The food is very tasty, the portions are large and they give u rice with the food for free! The prices are affordable as well and service is good. They could improve their glasses, green glasses are not appropriate for a restaurant. Plz buy clear glasses.

Yelp
I came here for dinner a few days ago. We got the fish pakora as a starter. It was very spicy for me (I can't take heat) but it wasn't spicy at all for the rest of my family. It came with a sweet sauce (perhaps plum sauce?) so the heat was bearable. The fish was very tender and everybody enjoyed this dish. For one of our entrees, we got garlic chicken. They gave us a generous portion so there was more than enough for the four of us. It was a bit bland in my opinion but it didn't taste horrible. Next, we got the manchurian fish. Again, the portion was huge and the fish was very soft. I enjoyed this dish more than the garlic chicken. Lastly, we got the sweet and sour shrimp. This was my favorite this because it wasn't spicy at all and there was a lot of sauce which was perfect for the rice. The portion wasn't as huge as the other two entrees but it wasn't unreasonably small either. The rice costs $1.50 for a big bowl for the whole table. Overall, this place was good. The service was great and they cleared our empty dishes very quickly. I would like to see them add some curry dishes to the menu and they'll be perfect!
google avatar

Vincent S.

Yelp
The food portions are always great! We always order the pepper chicken, crispy beef and chili chicken! Can't say nothing but great things about the place... hell there staff are amazing and always double and if not... triple check if we need anything despite being busy right now

Yelp
Went here for a friend's birthday lunch to celebrate with some Hakka food at low prices and generous portions. We came as a party of 16 and the thing with our party is that a lot of people don't like spicy food, while only a handful of us including myself like the heat so this reflects the rating. I ordered the spicy Chicken 88 which looks like a cross between tandoori chicken and a dry stir fry of chicken breast with chillis, garlic and coriander. I was in spice lovers heaven with a sweet burn in my mouth as I wolfed down the generous portions. Friend beside me ordered the spicy cashew chicken which was also delicious. My friends who didn't like spicy food didn't fare so well. While the Manchurian chicken rice and noodle was reported as good, I heard a lot of disappointment from those that had the non spicy stir fry noodle dishes, and the sweet and sour fish. Looking at their menu, it looks like they cater to the clientele that likes spicy food, so make sure you order their signature spicy dishes and not their poorly done non-spicy ones! Oh, prices at $6.75 for lunch specials including either an egg roll, sweet and sour soup, or pop is an absolute steal, with most of our party getting takeout boxes for afterwards.
google avatar

Alana S.

Yelp
I come to this restaurant regularly because I always find myself to be craving one particular dish. Everyone, do yourself a favour and order the chicken 88. It might look intimidating but the flavour......... thinking about it makes me want to go back again.

Yelp
After an eventful day at the Zoo and Rouge Hill Beach, my lady-friend and I joined our friend for a not-a-surprise-but-it-is-a-surprise birthday/farewell dinner. We had a huge table of around 20 people, and there was plenty of food to go around! Restaurant size: Nice and spacious, plenty of room to accommodate for larger groups (such as ours) and smaller groups (maybe such as yours?). Plenty of ambient lighting to get your hunger-mood right. Food quality: Being with a group who really likes their spice, we were introduced to a bunch of Indian/hakka dishes which varied in spice; all were ultra delicious and flavourful. However, some of the dishes had quite a bit of oil too. But hey, it adds more flavour! We had predominantly rice-based dishes, with some deep fried fish cutlets too. Service: Even though we had our own reserved seating and priority, I could see that there were adequate servers for other tables as well. Servers were courteous and prompt in refilling water when asked. Final thoughts: It was a great opportunity to try a number of dishes here, and it would be a mistake to pass it by if you're looking for Indian/hakka! I'd definitely come back again with a smaller group and might even try asking for less oil in some of the dishes.

Yelp
Service is slow so expect to wait awhile for your food. The cantonese chow mein and deep fried icecream is a must here!
google avatar

Sumaita S.

Yelp
Rude customer service. No professionalism. Their soup tasted gross which we didn't complain about but I hated how one of the their dishes tasted. It was soggy, tasted old and rusty; asked them politely to change the dish. They straight up declined and didn't care one bit saying "this is one of top rated dishes. It is already made and changing it will make this go on waste" then proceeded to walk away without any apologies and laughing it off. If I am paying a good amount of money for food I expect it to taste good and be fresh. And expecting a little professionalism from the staff isnt alot to ask for. The food and their behaviour completely killed my apetite.

Yelp
Still loving this location and food. China Cottage has very reasonably priced dishes that are absolutely delicious. Can't get enough of the Chili Chicken.
google avatar

Yelp
Just go. And go hungry. The chicken 88... Hakka fish... chilli chicken with gravy... Hakka noodles... Crispy beef... enormous free bowls of steamed rice... veggie pakoras with garlic sauce... we come here regularly as a family. We wear sweat pants. We drink beers. Laughter and pigging out ensue. This staff are friendly and put up with our enormous orders. Last time we went we ordered whiskeys too - went great with that spice! The prices are not beaten in the city. This is the greatest deal for flavour and quantity/quality in the city. Superb Hakka. Must try. See you at the Cotty !!

Yelp
I love hakka food and tbh this place is pretty amazing. The price is good as well as the staff. Try the CHICKEN 88 it is something to die for.

Yelp
Usually a long wait line (takeout or dine-in), staff is nice but kind of slow in service. Food is tasty.

Yelp
Dark, cheap & below average food. We ordered Pad Thai, one with chicken the others vegetarian. All three came out after a while, no veggies, no egg, and all with .5 ounces of what looked to be chicken. Asked our server to fix the mistake and they left the plates and came back and finally took the plates away from the vegetarians only. They came out with two pad Thai with veggies that looked better than the first batch but there was no flavour other than hot/spicy. Would not recommend coming here for Pad Thai, ever.

Yelp
Wow extremely dissapointed . We Ordered the Mumbai chicken ,fried rice and Chilli chicken .. they served it extremely cold .. didn't apologize just took it back microwaved it and brought it back .like that's disgusting .. on top of that waited over 20mins for water no one came to serve us or check up on us.. never going there again no one should be going to this horrible place!!!!!!!!

Robert R.

Yelp
Don't go here after 9 pm. Kitchen closes early and late night orders are not about the quality. We ended up getting leftover poor quality food .
google avatar

Jeff L.

Yelp
Portions are big, prices are low, service is fast, and the food is delicious. We come here a couple of times a month for our regular cravings and they never disappoint. Must try dishes are the Mango Chicken, Manchurian Chicken, Chicken 88, and the Chef's Special Shrimp (deep fried and battered jumbo shrimp). Fair warning - the food is quite greasy!
google avatar

Jeff H.

Yelp
Great food. And lots of choices for most dietary needs. Btw '88' is a flavor. So whatever you get from the menu with the 88 will have that flavor. And it all tasted good. To bad it's 1.5 hours from home.

Aj T.

Yelp
We decided to do take out and walked into the restaurant.. the phone lines were extremely busy but the host had a great handle of phones while we asked for suggested.. we weren't sure if the portion so we told him the told number of guests and he advised us different options that our guest would prefer based our diet requirements.. we ordered chill chicken, veggie pakora, shrimp in garlic sauce, chill tofu and noddles. Our guests enjoyed the meal and the portion size was just enough without any waste..

Yelp
Love this place! Can't say enough good things about it. There's a great lunch special for $6.75 that comes with a massive portion and your choice of pop, soup, or egg roll. We usually get the chicken or beef 88 and schezwan fried rice. Beef or chicken 88 are their speciality. It's super red and flavourful from all the spices that go into it. It comes with rice, too. The schezwan fried rice is super yummy, too. It's also really red and flavourful. They are both a bit spicy, but I love spicy foods! They also offer a variety of fish, chicken, beef, and thai foods. We have tried their pad thai and green curry. Both were delicious, but we are partial to our regular order. It's always busy there with people dining in and taking out. Service is consistently friendly and courteous. The owners are very nice people, too. Quiet and sweet. I used to serve them and their entire family at my old job and they were always incredibly nice.

Yelp
Price and the portions size are the only positives about this place. The flavor lacked in the dishes that were ordered (Manchurian CKN Noodes - Had too much soy sauce which had a bitter after taste after every bite) & (Mixed Veges with Beef - Bland and had too much salt in the dish). This will likely be my first and last visit as I was extremely disappointed with my meal.

Yelp
They don't believe their customers!! They are rude!! Recently, I ordered (take away) Chicken lollipop and specifically mentioned to the lady taking the order to please ask the chef, not to overcook them as he did earlier. Even after mentioning that, the chicken lollipop was overcooked. I called up the restaurant back and to them about it and after talking to 3 different people and spending 15 mins. of holding and explaining multiple times what the problem is, I was asked to bring the chicken lollipop back to the restaurant as their chef would like to see what was wrong with the order. They did not believe their customer!! They thought someone would be lying to them for a $10 chicken lollipop. Never visiting them again!!

Yelp
I've been here on many occasions. I find the consistency of the food to be really good- if you find a good dish and re-order it another day, it tastes just as amazing. Check out these pics: http://www.loveablepics.com/ Faves: 1) chicken 88 2) mumbai chicken 3) hot and sour soup with chicken (the veggie one doesnt have enough veggies in it!!) 4) hakka fish - dry and crispy pakoras 5) special fish - sauce is a bit too strong for myself but my parents really enjoy it Whatever you do, do not order: 1) Chilli paneer 2) Chilli chicken ITS NOT SPICY AT ALL. Sauce is thick and bland. 3 stars because service can be slow and they never bring your knives out on time!!
