I *really* wanted to love this place, since it's so close to my home and work, but it just wasn't fabulous, and after this second bad experience, I probably will take this off the list of lunch options.
I'll say this... Service at the register is quick and courteous; I only waited about 5 minutes for my order to be prepared and bagged up.
But the food? Nah, not for me. I ordered the L19 General Tso's Chicken meal with white rice. For eight bucks, I thought it was a heck of a deal, until I opened the carton. I was expecting dark, sticky, gooey fried chicken morsels, but they were much lighter in color and very soggy. Soggier than even a 5-minute car ride could account for. Also, my meal came with two large heads (stalks? florets?) of steamed broccoli, which would be great if I could stand the flavor of broccoli... I was able to pick them off, but that whole area tasted like broccoli afterward.
The meal had the little icon to indicate them being spicy, but they were not only not spicy, but hardly flavorful at all. Salt didn't help. Soy or duck sauce didn't help. And even if it did, I still had the rubbery, slimy, spongy texture of the chicken to deal with. After eating about 1/4 of the meal, I gave up... it wasn't tasty, so it wasn't worth the calories I was ingesting.
My hope is that they were just having an off-day, but I have to spend my money and my calories in the best way possible, and this just wasn't the best way for me.
