Google
I’ve been a loyal customer of this restaurant for many years, and they never disappoint. The employees are some of the hardest-working, most dedicated people I’ve ever encountered—always friendly and efficient. My family and I always order their combination fried rice, which is usually packed with flavor and generous portions. One time, we noticed it was a bit light on meat and shrimp, so we called to politely mention it. Without any hesitation, they offered to make us a fresh one—no questions asked. That level of customer care is rare and speaks volumes about their integrity. Thank you to the entire team for being so consistently amazing. You’ve earned our trust and loyalty, and we’ll keep coming back for years to come!

Ordered from Uber Eats. We had a taste for Chinese Food. It was a late delivery. Food was good. Our fried rice was lukewarm warm, we had to add soy sauce. However the pot stickers were delicious especially the sauce that came with it. All in all it was good. 😊thank you.

Used to go to this place all the time, would drive from Henderson even. Well, today is my last time wasting my money. Ordered shrimp fried rice, there were only 3 shrimp in the entire dish. Also, ordered Singapore Rice Noodles, no taste at all. The portion size was great but a large portion of bland food is not worth the price. I sure hope the management steps up and try and go back to selling great tasting food. Another restaurant that has succumbed to medicracy.

Google
This was honestly one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. I sat there for over 45 minutes with zero service, no drink refills, nothing. The egg drop soup was flat-out disgusting, and they didn’t even bother to bring a bowl or a spoon—just handed me soup like I was supposed to magically figure it out. Then the orange chicken showed up 40 minutes late, long after I’d already finished eating my fried rice . When I told the lady I didn’t want it anymore because it took way too long, she actually gave me an attitude, like it was my fault they can’t get orders out on time. The whole experience was a joke. Terrible service, terrible food, and no respect for customers. I will never come back, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Google
DELICIOUS! We dined in, we got egg foo young, fried rice and teriyaki chicken with veggies and white rice. The entries are huge, well worth the $

Nikki F.

Google
What a find! Everything was GREAT with perfectly seasoned sauces. We had the Mongolian Beef, Teriyaki Chicken, General Tao, Chow Mein and amazing garlic string beans. Super affordable and delicious fantastic great find!!!

Zulema W.

Google
The service was horrible!!! The skinny Asian lady got my order wrong then when we got our food there where no utensils or napkins I had to ask for them then I had to remind her for our drinks and our soup then when it was time to pay for the meal she tried to rob me money by charging my debit card a credit card fee and I had to show her the scam that she was pulling plz be aware

Google
The place is an average c +.... The food may be okay but the services sucks... I don't care for a place where the employers are not friendly... I took a delivery out for $100... I expect kindness ... I will avoid this place in the future.... There's a lot of Chinese places I can do my business

Yelp
Ambiance- while they had tables and were mostly full, it appears they should only be a takeout place. Everything served in to go boxes, paper plates, plastic flimsy utensils (broke my fork so had to get another), and Styrofoam cups. They have a soda dispenser however only staff can use it. If you need a drink, you have to purchase drinks by can and can only. Food- ordered the Lemon Chicken combo dinner. Low Mein was slighly burnt and tastes rubbery. Good thing it came with fried rice cause that was the only saving grace. Chicken was very bland. Drink- ordered a hot tea and served in a Styrofoam cup. Had to use napkin to hold hot cup. Served with no sugar. When asked for sugar, was given small (less than spoonful) amount in little cup. Had to ask for more. Waitress rolled her eyes and then brought back even less. So looks like we're going to play this game. Price- Moderately priced for an inside sit down restaurant but again, with the Ambiance mentioned above, they are more of a to go restaurant. Need to rebrand to using real utensils, plates, etc and hire a dishwasher if you continue to being a sit down place. Will I be back? While I still left a very nice tip (27%) as I always do, I will NOT be back. Rolling eyes waitress, chicken was bland and paperplates, food served in togo boxes, plastic utensils and Styrofoam cups is why.

Yelp
Last week for the first time at lunch we went to this restaurant before leaving for Ca. We really enjoyed the food and the very attentive service. Can't wait to return soon. By the way the food is fresh and delicious ! It was not like other Chinese restaurant's food that after you eat you feel so thirsty the rest of the day due perhaps to high salt or something. Great Food

Yelp
This is an update to my last review.....although this particular meal was not acceptable.....sometimes that happens. Every other meal I have ordered has been spot on and excellent. This was for General Tso's chicken and was not up to their normal standards. I ordered this through Uber Eats and after mentioning the situation to them, I was given a full refund to the meal, which I felt was great and warranted. Even though I had this one mishap, I will be ordering again.

Yelp
China Gourmet has always been one of my favorite Chinese restaurants since I moved to Vegas. They've always had great tasting food, affordable prices, and even greater service. The restaurant itself is very quaint and cozy. I always order the chow fun or chow mein, and it hits the spot every time. They also have delivery, which comes in handy when you can't make it in for pickup. I will always recommend this spot to anyone who is craving good Chinese food and will always go back! Bonus: They always serve wonton strips with sweet and sour sauce with any meal.

Antonia C.

Yelp
The food is good but not consistently. The service is excellent and very cordial. The place could be better, the bathroom Need upkeep. Their biggest problem is that the air conditioner is poor . Last I went it was so hot in the room that I got sick. It is bad for a food place to be hot because food spoils quickly. It's a shame because it has excellent taste. Prices are reasonable.

Jim R.

Yelp
Great food. There was always a lot of food good prices and it comes quick. I think they have the fastest delivery in the area

Yelp
Arrived 15 min late paying the extra money for first delivery. I ordered the family dinner: egg rolls (so greasy with only soggy cabbage ick), the rangoons were just okay, pork fried rice (greasy no flavor not good), orange chicken (dark meat, no flavor, soggy) general chicken (soggy, dark meat, chewy, no flavor, not good) Orders vegetable chow mein (very very greasy) egg drop soup - tasted old Thai iced tea had boba in it ( not listed in discription and I wouldn't have bought it. Not a fan tasted like perfume and he spilled one of them. Order came to neat $98 and it SUCKED!! Nobody ate it because it was cold. Not to mention the delivery guy who didn't speak English and wasn't going to give me the order because her said phone number didn't match. I shows him order on my phone! And the dude took it away back to his car- the. Came back and still hesitant to give to me. I felt like I was being punked! If I knew how bad the food was gonna be I would have let him take it back most definitely. Bad experience... DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Felicita D.

Yelp
When my food came the delivery driver wouldn't give me my order after it was paid for and the tip was included when I purchased it but the driver wanted another tip in cash.smh. The food had fallen over in the bag and was full of juice from the food
google avatar

Kevin L.

Yelp
Salt and pepper wings were not what I was looking for. Decent but not that good. I enjoyed the combination fried rice. Ambiance was pick up restaurant Service was prompt.

Mellissa D.

Yelp
You have to try their chowmain!! They're nice and quick with taking an order and takeout! I called for a pickup order and I've gone so much she remembered my name thank you so much they're so good!!
google avatar

Roberto A.

Yelp
Service was good and the food was amazing, been back more than a few times since. Looking forward to another visit soon

Yelp
The service was great! The food is amazing! The lunch special is enough for 2. I highly recommend China Gourmet
google avatar

Isabella B.

Yelp
I've been coming here for years, the food has always been pretty good tasting. I love getting the lunch specials because they're priced so well for a lot of food. You never get food size of that much for the price not even panda.

Gale H.

Yelp
Just received my order of chicken chop suey! The food is "spoiled". Contacted the store and informed them of food spoilage and and not to serve this dish to customers. Will never eat from this establishment again and hoping I don't get food poison.
google avatar

Mori K.

Yelp
Consistently good. My go to for a quick hot meal and still affordable. My favorite is the combination kung pao and the salt and pepper chicken wings.

Mike M.

Yelp
I love your food. You really are gourmet better than anything I had in San Francisco.
google avatar

Aki I.

Yelp
I ordered Chicken Fried Rice without soy sauce and it was very good. The chicken was dark meat chicken and it was just right. Not overly salty either and I like it. I also got Lychee Boba. It was good but the boba was a bit hard to my liking. Still I enjoyed over all. Will come again for pick up. (:
google avatar

Ariel M.

Yelp
My mom loves their chow fun. My husband loves their fried rice. I like their salt n pepper wings and pork. We usually air fry them When we get home cause they're soggy by the time we get home. Only because the back gets super steamy from the food being so fresh and hot.

Barbie S.

Yelp
Just moved to Nevada and ordered 2 lunch specials from China gourmet Service was quick food was fantastic Vegetable were fresh and not overcooked Meat also was very lean and cooked perfectly portions were great I now need to make a special trip just to give them an extra tip

Yelp
So....been here a few times and, for the most part, it's ok, in my opinion.....between my wife and I, we've had a few dishes from here. We have tried the Combo Fried Rice, Combo Chow Mein, Egg Rolls, and the Mongolian Beef. I like the egg rolls. The way they cook them is proper. Not overcooked on the outside and mushy in the inside like a lot of other places tend to do. The other dishes we've had are pretty decent with flavor. Although, I will say nothing amazing, in that regard. It is, what it is. The pros.....I think the main one is the price point for what you get. I don't think there is any one base item on their menu that is over $10 and they do offer a daily lunch special from 11am-4pm for like $7. So, the price is more than reasonable and you get a TON of food, even for a big guy like me. Yeah, the whole food ratio thing kind of plays into it as well but that happens everywhere you go. It's inescapable, unfortunately. The place is small but enough for several people to dine in and it appears to be clean. The cons....there are a couple. I'm a big stickler for customer service and the service here is a mixed bag depending on who is running the counter. There's been a couple times where the service was fine, if not, great. However, this last time was absolutely abysmal. The counter person literally had a personality of a brick wall when placing my to-go order. No greeting, no "What can I get for you?", nothing, just a stare....with a mask on. Pretty unnerving, I think. And, to top it all off, the impatient customer behind me whom just walked in and couldn't wait two seconds for me to finish placing my simple combo chow mein order was greeted properly? Huh? Seriously? Nonetheless, I was seething inside. The other con is I wish this place offered combo plate options as opposed to buying dishes separately. Personally, I like to have a little variety on my plate and buying multiple dishes is WAY too much food. Besides, not a huge fan of leftover American Chinese food. It's usually never better the second time around. Again, it is, what it is. After this last experience, I'm inclined to say that I probably won't come back. After all, places like this are a dime a dozen in this area....and, most likely, with at least 100% more customer service. Best of luck & be safe!

Yelp
Foods were cold and didn't follow the instructions. My wife allergic to shrimp. I documented and asked for no shrimp and it's there

Yelp
Back in 2020 I've been a loyal customer of this joint. I suddenly have to move in reno from 21 to 23 and it's sucks but now that I'm back whenever im craving for Chinese food this is my to go to. They used to have this when you spend $30 or more you'll get free crab cakes, wonton cream cheeses I think and the egg rolls and they are super generous about the food.
google avatar

Shanelle N.

Yelp
Poor service. Rude staff. Food was decent I was really disappointed because I've heard good reviews. I won't be a returning customer . I had to give it a star to post a review. I give it 0 stars .
google avatar

Greg B.

Yelp
My wife and I were spending the day in the Las Vegas area and we were in the mood for Chinese. We located this little place on Yelp and we were not disappointed. I order kung pow chicken and my wife ordered the lettuce wraps. They were both excellent. The portions were huge so we left very satisfied. This is not a fancy place by any means. The food was cooked to order and it came fresh and hot, no sitting around in a serving tray waiting for someone to show up. It's a great place to eat.
google avatar

Jackie R.

Yelp
I'm so picky about my chicken wings cause I like em very crispy. This place is perfect for spicy, crunchy and garlic chicken wings.
google avatar

Lisa B.

Yelp
They get 3 stars because they were fast. And the egg foo young was good. The gravy tasted a little burnt though. The fried rice was decent although I asked for spicy - I could see a few red pepper flakes but it was very mild. But the rice did have nice shrimp throughout. There was also a sweet undertone to the gravy that was off putting to me, but the patties were really good.

Yelp
The portions are huge! The food itself is amazing! I ordered the Honey Walnut Shrimp, Hot & Sour Soup, Assorted Appetizers, and the Orange Chicken Lunch with rice and noodles. Everything was extremely tasty! I had this order delivered and it was to me so hot that I couldn't yet eat the soup! I live 3.3 miles from them and ordered at 13:30, had my food by 14:00! The Honey Walnut Shrimp is HUGE, I looked at it thinking it was going to be mostly breading, IT IS NOT! It is lightly battered in a very buttery flavored batter and the shrimp are GIANT! The assorted appetizers were very good as well, and I am glad they have this option as it allows you to try several apps without having to order them individually. I have NO complaints about the food, and just as a heads up, I checked SNHD and they have never had a rating below a B since 2014! I will be ordering from here regularly, and once the pandemic is really over, I will definitely be making a trip in to the restaurant.

Yelp
Great food atmosphere great customer service. I've been a customer here for the last two years and I've never been disappointed Not once I am a frequent customer here to the point that they know me by my first name, and I never have to tell them who I am when I pick up my order this is the greatest establishment

Yelp
Good food and the portion they give you it's a lot it took me 3 days to eat and finish it ..

Yelp
This is a regular spot for us. We ordered pot stickers chicken wings combination fried rice and combination chow mein. The pot stickers are super crunchy on the outside and plump on the inside and with the dipping sauce it comes with it's just so good! The wings are literally our favorite thing from there they are so good a little spicy but so much flavor!! The fried rice is also a favorite of ours that we always have to get our 3 year old loves it and won't touch anything else! The combination chow mein is something of the gods the glove they pack into those noodles is simply outstanding I recommend dumping they out to get a good mix of the flavors sometimes all the flavor juice ends up on the bottom. Everything that we have tried here is just so delicious we have been going here for over 6 years and ordered almost everything off the menu it's all good!!

Candice C.

Yelp
Hands-down, the best local Chinese spot in Las Vegas food is always fast and fresh. You can identify all the meat and ingredients they never miss. The portions are fair for the cost.
google avatar

Marvin R.

Yelp
Very bad and sad service. Disappointing after coming for two years twice a month. I reported a nut allergy and offered to take care of my next meal. Ordered again and gave me a hard time and only offered 2 dollars off. After a bit allergy episode. I was given attitude when I picked up my order. Tossed me the hot sos. Watch cameras owner. And you'll see
google avatar

Daniel K.

Yelp
Spicy Alert! Ordered from this place for delivery, Kung Pao Shrimp, and appetizer sampler. The food was really good and fresh. I have to give credit for the spice level on the Kung Pao, most Chinese places cater to American tastes and thus even the spicy dishes are only moderately spicy. This place is an exception, the Kung Pao was hot hot! It actually had me sweating, so if you like spicy food definitely order a spicy dish.
google avatar

Matthew S.

Yelp
Not a fine dining experience by any measure. But the food is cooked very well and if seems to be family owned and operated. The lunch deal is a steal. I couldn't finish all of it. Not a bad time at all

Amber B.

Yelp
Ok is just not enough for me! This place is just ok serving lazy dishes! If the kids won't eat orange chicken it must be bad! The noodles as they call them were even worse!
google avatar

Jay B.

Yelp
Food was good but my 12 dollar appetizer was spoiled. Please don't pack food like this if you know it runs.
google avatar

Jer G.

Yelp
SO good... and the portions are HUGE! Don't use this for a quick bite on a night out, these guys give you enough awesome food for a few days' worth of leftovers to bring home!

Karla T.

Yelp
Been coming here for years and it's always great. I always order to go and i have never dined in but my orders are always great! Thank you china gourmet. The passion fruit boba is my favorite, and for food i like the honey walnut shrimp
google avatar

Kim V.

Yelp
When we don't feel up to driving to Chinatown...we come here. They have a good variety of the usual offerings at most Chinese restaurants, but they do it like you would find at a "regular" restaurant in China Town. It may be in a strip mall, but don't be fooled. They offer a good portion of fresh meats and vegetables, one entree comes with one rice, and some good things on their specialties.

Simon J.

Yelp
It may not be gourmet Chinese food but by far the best in the neighborhood and is highly recommended. They do not use MSG and the staff is excellent as if the food which is not greasy, good portions and reasonable prices. It is a place where the food is consistently good with real chicken, fish, shrimp, beef and pork. I have been going there for almost 7 years and the place is not a real sit down restaurant as much as a take out or delivery but like I said I would recommend this place over all the other Chinese places in the area.
google avatar

Kat D.

Yelp
I am so happy I found this place. I have been searching for a good Chinese restaurant on the east side for years. The food from this location is superb. Everything is seasoned perfectly. You can tell that the chef has high standards when it comes to taste. I stopped eating Chinese food for a while because i thought the best that I could get was Chopstix and they are absolutely awful. Thank you so much to the amazing Chef that has been providing me amazing dinners over the last few weeks from this location.
google avatar

R N.

Yelp
Great place for quick chinese food. Nothing special but does hit the spot when craving a little chinese. Fast service and good portions for the price.
google avatar

Melanie B.

Yelp
This place was super close to my house so I decided to try it the other day and it was good. I just don't think the flavor is all the way there. I feel like I may try it again but try something else. I only ordered the chow mein because it was a big enough portion and I didn't need anything else. The staff was nice ! My order came out fast. I would try this place again and maybe update my review to see what else is good here.
google avatar

Anthony C.

Yelp
Best I have found so far in Las Vegas. Their sweet & sour chicken is awesome; the pork fried rice has...odd pieces of pork in it (strips; they don't look very appealing and the last time I had it it had an odd taste) but overall, this matches my expectations for Chinese food...but I'm from the Midwest.

Tammy H.

Yelp
Tried this place last night for the first time. The food was delicious. Very fresh and the beef was so tender! Plus the people were extremely nice. This will be my choice for Chinese from now on!

William H.

Yelp
Disappointing experience recently. Went there and ordered wor wonton and eggrolls for dine-in. Apparently they pack all food in to-go containers regardless. I wasn't the only diner there eating out of containers. The eggrolls were good, not frozen, but the wonton broth was unpleasantly spicy (black pepper, I think). And despite my order being soup, they did not pack a spoon and I had to ask for one.
google avatar

Marcy C.

Yelp
Great service!! I ordered a party tray of combination chow mein for a potluck and it was a hit and fast to make.

Scott T.

Yelp
I did take out of Salt & pepper chicken. It was very good. First time trying resturant.
google avatar

Yelp
CHINA GOURMET!!! We are from Idaho. Idaho doesn't have good Chinese food. Vegas has great Chinese restaurants. This one is our favorite. Their prices are unbelievable. For $30 you can feed your family of 4-5 with plenty of leftovers. Their lunch prices are even better. This is definitely our go to Chinese food spot.
