"China Jade, a Chinese restaurant staple of the Yorkville section of the neighborhood, is done, according to the East Side Feed. A phone line has been disconnected on the business, which first opened in 2017." - Luke Fortney

I have been eating from here for a year now🥲 It is hard to find a good Chinese restaurant in this area. Five stars for keeping the nice taste and portion! Don’t miss their lunch special menu which is available till 4PM. Definitely my go-to for take-out and delivery. Although the restaurant serves very spicy plates, there are also plenty of mild options, such as the one in the picture: eggplant and tofu in a sweet and sour soy sauce. I highly recommend that you check it out. 🤗

This was a Dinner choice for a birthday. Quality of prior food experience was the motivator. We had a fresh hot& sour soup, followed by a veggie dampling & pork dampling- both delicious!!! Main courses were also very tasty. Bref, you will find this restaurant food quality to be very competent to any upper class restaurant. Always good fresh food, service and decor is ok. Prices are moderate. Definitely to be visited again!!!

The food is way above average. Try the beef fillets with red and green chillies with napa cabbage. It's super spicy, but tolerable lol, the beef is good quality. I've also had the spicy orange chicken, with large pieces of tender chicken, a slightly crunchy coating, and flavorful brown sauce. The lunch specials can't be beat, I usually take the delicious egg drop soup as the freebie. Choice of white or brown rice. Don't hesitate!

The most amazing little restaurant that's in the area. My friend and I had just came from Barnes & Noble in a few of the makeup stores and wanted something to eat before we got back on the train and headed over to 34th Street. We looked at a few restaurants and they all seem to be a little too expensive and in general not interesting enough for us to spend more than $30 at is that seems to be the modern price for any one persons plate. We looked on Google Maps and they said that this restaurant was over here. When we got over there is that they had a deal where if you spend $20 you could get for soup dumplings for free. We couldn't miss the opportunities since we really love soup dumplings. All together our whole meal for just two people came out to about $24 and we're seriously. They have amazing lunch time deals that last 11:30 to 4 p.m. on weekdays and noon to 4 on weekends. I would definitely recommend going here for any kind of event. We even saw a few of the people who work there creating the dumplings. It was a very beautiful and effortless activity. Definitely will be coming back for this.

Agree with comment about food is way above average. High quality ingredients, little touches like julienned vegetables. Stir fried chicken with green chili and shredded pork with spicy garlic sauce highly recommend. As is the Ma Po Tofu

Absolutely inedible hot and sour soup. It is pretty much just hot chili oil.. look how it stains the spoon. I used to order from here every weekend and now I will be eating it much much less. I don’t know how they can serve this to people.

Excellent and fast take out! The only thing to note is that the spicy king bean noodles are the large jelly king bean noodles, not cellophane style like I anticipated. Still delicious however! And will definitely be better tomorrow after marinating in the sauce. General tso tofu was crisp! The spicy was more mild so if you like spice kick it up to the next level. Last but not least the pork soup dumplings!! How did they get these to be so good even though they are takeout?? Happy to finally try this place and have an amazing spot to go if I don’t want to haul all the way down to Chinatown for soup dumplings. A true gem
