I ordered an order of fried dumplings for the 1st time from them today. They were DELICIOUS. So about an hour or 2 later, I called to order 3 more orders of fried dumplings! Told the guy who took my order, I hadn't realized they'd be so good I just had to order more lol. He said he saw my earlier order.
I'm at work so when it got here, I didn't open the bag right away. When I did, I noticed there were 3 orders of fried WONTONS instead. I called to get it fixed. Man said he would fix it but needed to find out how the order got screwed up. After listening to the recorded order I made over the phone, he informed me that I had said WONTONS and not DUMPLINGS. Ok, my honest mistake. I swore in my mind the word DUMPLINGS was coming out. However, I told the man I was currently speaking to that if the man who saw my earlier order as I was ordering for the 2nd time in the same day, why didn't he help correct me? It was my honest mistake but I mean damn. What was I to do with Fried Wontons that I wasn't going to eat when there were starving people in the world? He wouldn't even apply what I paid for the wontons to the new order I was going to make for the right order. It's December 22nd. Xmas is 3 days away. So that's less money at the wrong time of year. I would have raved about this place to anyone who asked about a great Chinese place in Waterbury as we'll have been a constant repeat customer but the insensitive customer service killed that.
