China One

Ordered twice from China One. First time, spent over $35, and although the food was delicious, they didn't give me the eggroll included with my combo selection, and the driver wouldn't even get out of his car to hand over my order. Second time, the driver met me closer to my apartment, at least, but after spending $51.50, they threw in only one bag of Fried Noodles (not the Delectable kind I'd had the last time) and ZERØ FORTUNE COOKIES. First time a Chinese restaurant nixxed the complimentary cookies. I guess I should've bought them off the menu like last time. I forgot, and paid the price, so to speak 🙄.

I found myself ordering from China One again tonight. The 2 or 3 item combos are great. I usually stick with the basics: General Tso chicken, honey chicken, dumplings, wonton soup, etc. I also recommend the Singapore mei fun.

My delivery driver never gets to my home within the 45 min it's always an hour and a half later. I'm still waiting for the owner to contact me in regards to any credit or refund

I went in with my 78 yr old Mother after shopping at the nearby Family Dollar. We had a box of Coca-Cola and some other groceries,the gentleman who took our order clearly saw us walking in with it. As we got our order to walk out he stopped us and claimed that we had stole the box of Coca-Cola. Clearly he saw us walking with all groceries the audacity of blaming us of theft. Never again

I don’t know if I caught them on a great night or if they were in a great mood !!! This was the best General TSO I ever had !! The chicken meat is so nice and meaty , not dried up flavor fried flour !! This is banging !!!!! And this pepper steak is official 😤 I’m impressed!! Way better than what I expected!

My 3rd time ordering from here, the food is delicious! If you are a fan of chicken and broccoli they have the best in town ! Delicious

i paid 8.00 for these wings, what kind of wing is this the bag was rolled up so small im like what is going on with these wings. never have i had wings this small.and i’ve ordered from here before, also the wings look and taste old.

Chicken had a weird sweet taste. It wasn't bad but it was different and unexpected. Prices are fair for the most part. The boneless ribs were good and also the pork friend rice. They deliver anywhere in Waterbury.

Their customer service skills SUCK! When I call to place an order they take my address & will come back on the phone and say they can't deliver to the owner to this phone number. Be mindful I JUST started ordering from them this year. & didn't even live out here for 3 years prior and had the same number the past 3 years. It's pretty disturbing they got my number down as they won't deliver to me .. their loss not mine. I'll take my money elsewhere

For BEST HONEY CHICKEN wings I had to share an order with my sister then she just ordered a meal herself they were that good.

One fantastic Chinese restaurant in Waterbury. Came in for lunch at work from a recommendation from a relative. The food was freshly made, delicious, and honestly the price was very good for what I ordered. The staff were very friendly and greeted me with smiling faces and answered questions. Plan to be back again.

My boyfriend lives in Waterbury, he likes to order Chinese food now and again and most of the time from China One because it's like right around the corner from where he lives. He always orders the fried wontons , this time they asked him whether he wanted beef or cheese, unusual question , but he decided on cheese because he thought oh it's a new thing! So he bought and paid for his food and it ended up being crab rangoons??? When he got home he called them , went back there and spoke to the manager and they would not replace them or replace his money? They really need better customer service isn't that how you keep business? Anyway he will not be ordering from them again!!! Oh and by the way he doesn't eat crab Rangoon so why wouldn't they give him his money back or replace it with the wontons? Bad bad bad customer service!!

I am new to the area and trying to find good Chinese food. I saw you could order right on an app and they deliver- perfect right? Wrong. First time we ordered it took over an hour to get the food. I called to check on the order and it no one could answer the question- it was like a office.... food was okay. Months later thought I would give it another try. Bad idea.... once again took over an hour and the food was horrible. I got beef teriyaki and bone in spareribs they where both SO over cooked I could not even it it. My roommate got bourbon chicken and could not even chew it as it was so over cooked. We will not be returning, two chances was enough.

I would give zero stars for the experience last night.....late delivering my food plus it was cold

DONT go here. The food looked stale. There kid was playing in the store on her bike blocking the door. The female cashiers attitude was disgusting I was about to slap her. I asked for a plastic bag (which the food should have already came with my food) she told me to pay first.My first and last time going there. If i could give them a one star I would. Im pissed I even paid her.

I have gotten the sweet & sour lunch special several times . Very good portion wise and quality. Food ready quickly

I ordered an order of fried dumplings for the 1st time from them today. They were DELICIOUS. So about an hour or 2 later, I called to order 3 more orders of fried dumplings! Told the guy who took my order, I hadn't realized they'd be so good I just had to order more lol. He said he saw my earlier order. I'm at work so when it got here, I didn't open the bag right away. When I did, I noticed there were 3 orders of fried WONTONS instead. I called to get it fixed. Man said he would fix it but needed to find out how the order got screwed up. After listening to the recorded order I made over the phone, he informed me that I had said WONTONS and not DUMPLINGS. Ok, my honest mistake. I swore in my mind the word DUMPLINGS was coming out. However, I told the man I was currently speaking to that if the man who saw my earlier order as I was ordering for the 2nd time in the same day, why didn't he help correct me? It was my honest mistake but I mean damn. What was I to do with Fried Wontons that I wasn't going to eat when there were starving people in the world? He wouldn't even apply what I paid for the wontons to the new order I was going to make for the right order. It's December 22nd. Xmas is 3 days away. So that's less money at the wrong time of year. I would have raved about this place to anyone who asked about a great Chinese place in Waterbury as we'll have been a constant repeat customer but the insensitive customer service killed that.

I can't believe no one's reviewed here yet. Discovered this place when i moved to waterbury three months ago. Hands down, the best chinese delivery i've ever had and my boyfriend said the same thing. I usually get the chicken with garlic sauce and he does the burbon chicken. Both taste great and i'm usually not even a chinese food fan. Delivery comes quick most times too.

Absolutely terrible. I placed my order online a hour and a half ago. Called a half hour ago to check on my order and they said it's on it's way. Now the restaurant is closed, no food and my charge card was billed. Scammers! Update...They ended up delivering my food almost two hours later. I turned it away, since I already ate and did get a refund.

Omg I ate the boneless ribs and got so sick while my friend ate the chicken and also got sick. Meanwhile the ribs tasted old and dried. Weird rather get new moon up the street.

If you find yourself in downtown waterbury this about the best food you can get in a hurry. Don't waste your time else where.
