Google
My husband and I tried Taste of China when we first moved here and absolutely loved it. We decided to try China Panda Restaurant since it is closer and, sadly, it is not as tasty. The food here is less flavorful (and less greasy) than Taste of China. Definitely feels healthier and better for our bodies, and is slightly cheaper, but if you're wanting tasty, greasy Chinese food, Taste of China is better. We will definitely be eating here again if we are trying to look after our health, though! The food isn't bad, but just not as good as Taste of China!

Google
Picked up take out tonight for my wife who has the flu. She was finishing up and realized there was a cooked cockroach in her food. Called to let management know and they said they would refund our money. Disgusting !

Jasmine Zhang

Google
Made wrong of one the dishes, the tofu is full of heavy sauce, the beef combo is ok but too much grease. The worst part is the box container has some dead bugs. The server is really friendly but the food needs some improvement.

Google
Love this place! It's close to home n good food, it can be really different sometimes, good different!

Google
I feel that out of all the Chinese places here in the 'Boro, this is the best tasting one. I have tried almost all of them. Prices are adequate for Chinese food and they are quick when making your order. I do occasionally use them through Uber Eats and they MOSTLY get my order right. There have been times that I have added on something and they don't include it in my order. I am going to say that's a UE to restaurant communication problem.

Google
The food was outstanding but the tables, chairs and floors were nasty with old food. I looked for Health Dept report but could not find it posted. Two employees engaged very loudly in an argument. This is right by our neighborhood and loved the food but the lack of cleanliness will keep me from returning.

Google
Damn good Bourbon Chicken and fried rice with QUALITY chicken - not run of the mill like other places. Dinner portion may look small but it’s very filling. Fast service. Eat here often.

Google
I've ordered this place on postmates so many times it gave me a top 1% contributor pop up 😭😭 this place is wonderful and their food is never bad. It's the only place I get consistently hot and delicious food from especially in delivery. And yes, I mean THE ONLY. I LOVE this place.

Hannah R.

Yelp
I have eaten here a few times before, it's cheap and close to my house, but this last time I got vicious food poisoning. Highly recommend not eating here.

Tyler P.

Yelp
Went down hill real quick. The chicken doesn't even look like chicken and definitely doesn't taste like chicken. It was awful.

Yelp
The food is great!! Best Chinese food in the boro!! They have things I have only seen out west.

Yelp
Took my youngest son to China Panda for dinner the other night. He was wanting some pan fried noodles, orange chicken, and boneless beef spareribs. Tennessee just doesn't have the Chinese restaurants that we are used to in California. That being said the food at China Panda was good, it was cheap, and it was quick. I just wish we would get a nice upscale, sit down, Chinese restaurant that wasn't either a buffet or quick slop type of place in Murfreesboro. No disrespect at all meant towards China Panda, they were one of the better places I've been in Tennessee.

Yelp
Great food!! The service was exceptional and it reminded me of being in China Town in Los Angeles where I had some of the best Chinese food in America outside of being in China. Looking forward to returning!!

Daniel G.

Yelp
beyond nasty. do not ever eat here . old chicken and I can smell the old grease they have been cooking in. worst food I've ever had ever do not eat here

Yelp
Whenever I travel one of the first things I look for is a good Chinese restaurant. Don't have one back home so I tend to find this while I'm on the road. Passed by this place and decided to give it a try. Prices are moderate and food is good portion size is average
google avatar

Romeka K.

Yelp
So glad we tried this place out! Their egg rolls and chicken on a stick were the bomb.com No errors in our order and everything was cooked to perfection.

Yelp
Loved this place for years but went in yesterday and was disgusted with the entire operation--two employees sitting in the restaurant watching tv on an iPad, chairs stacked against the walls, dirty tables and could barely see out the front windows. Food was barely edible--rice way undercooked. I know, I know we've been through a pandemic but you could wipe down the tables and clean the front glass which would make me feel better about how the food is being prepared behind closed curtains. Will never go back.

Angela P.

Yelp
Order had not even been started when my husband arrived.. My crab wontons was old and he literally dipped them in hot grease to warm. So soggy and tasted like old grease....my dog wouldn't even eat it. I paid for extra fried noodles for my soup....did not get what I paid for. And my egg drop soup was so thick it was literally like raw yolk...not cooked properly. A complete waste of 14 dollars.

Yelp
Very good food. Nice people and they will make it spicy. Chinese place can never get it spicy enough for me. You have to say..... Make it extra extra extra spicy and they will give you some nice heat along with being yummy food. I would post a picture but I already ate the food before I thought to post this well deserved review. Sorry

Yelp
its ok. the noodles kinda tasted like sweat tea but the chicken was ok i guess. not my favorite though.
google avatar

Mark O.

Yelp
Excellent array of vegetarian choices. We appreciated the Tso's Bean curd especially! The vegetables were steamed fresh and the sauces were distinct. It is primarily a take-out but they have plastic ware and six tables for those who need to dine in. The low-cal options set apart in a unique portion of the menu was helpful for our party as well! Yummmm!
google avatar

Chris S.

Yelp
This place is our go to. The family who owns it are awesome. Super nice always. The food is great, the prices are great. We order from them at least once a week!!!
google avatar

Elise C.

Yelp
The value for the price is good. Its good food. Always ready in a timely manner and the customer service is always great. I recommend the Beef and Broccoli!

Hailee B.

Yelp
Favorite place of all time, always hot and flavorful. I don't have to wait long when I order here, it's refreshing

A. C. T.

Yelp
The food tasted good, but they have messed up my order multiple times and overcharged me, too. The General Tso's Shrimp says lightly breaded, but was mostly breading and had about 10 shrimp for the advertised price of $11.95. I say "advertised" because the bill I received was over $71.00 for two General Tso's Chicken, One General Tso's Shrimp, and one Sesame Chicken with pork fried rice. The last time, I ordered no broccoli or vegetables in my order of four meals, and all they wanted to do was replace one. I ordered shrimp egg rolls previously, and was given pork egg rolls.

Melodie S.

Yelp
I absolutely love the Singapore Chow Mein Fun. It's fantastic! The kids love the fried rice, but that's a standard item. The Singapore Chow Mein is phenomenal!
google avatar

Kelsey M.

Yelp
I hate doing this!! But I just paid $17 for food that tasted like soap.....I don't know. Maybe it was just a mess up on my order and they usually do a wonderful job. Either way, my food tasted like soap...

Yelp
A little nice hole in the wall place in Murfreesboro. So far, by far, the best place we found where you can get descent Chinese food in the Murfreesboro area. It's not like going to an authentic Chinese restaurant in the bay area but for Middle TN its alright. Food is always good and the portions are pretty large. Service is pretty fast and they do take orders over the phone. We always get our orders to go and can't say anything about their service.
google avatar

Chrissy V.

Yelp
Best Chinese restaurant we have found in Murfreesboro! Food is so good and service has always been very friendly! This is now a favorite go to for my husband and I. For sure would/will recommend China Panda.
google avatar

Sabrina Y.

Yelp
The food was not good! It tasted old like it was rewarmed this is the second time I ordered and was not pleased.
google avatar

Kate O.

Yelp
I love the dinner combinations! My hubby and I usually get a combo to share because the portions are so big. We get General Tso's chicken or sometimes tofu. It's always delicious. This is the best place if you're wanting good Chinese food for the best deal.
google avatar

Robert E.

Yelp
When in the mood for Chinese take out-this is our spot. The orders are always hot and very generous helpings. We love the chicken fried rice and their egg rolls are large and very tasty. They are quick and I have never had to wait over 20 minutes to get my food. I have watched them prepare the orders and each one is made as the order comes in. So our dishes have always been fresh and hot.
google avatar

LaDonna G.

Yelp
Very poor service. I've been coming there as a new customer for two months now. I see that they are shortstaffed, but there's no need to be rude. I nicely told them that I did not receive the full order and since I have been working long hours I came a week after. I was able to show my receipt but the woman had a huge attitude with me. Will not be coming back, and I will suggest others should do the same until they get their act together.

Yelp
Best Chinese food I've had so far in Murfreesboro. My husband and I went today for a late lunch/early dinner and spent $22 for an appetizer and two entrees. I ordered the general tso tofu with white rice, he ordered the sweet and sour shrimp, and we split the crab rangoon appetizer. The tofu was really crispy and the sauce was tasty too. He enjoyed his shrimp dish and we both liked the crab rangoon and dipping sauce. I had more than enough food left over for tomorrow or later tonight. This will be our go-to for Chinese takeout while we live here.

David Q.

Yelp
Best Chinese restaurant in town. I'd recommend it to anyone. The food tastes great, is inexpensive, and is consistent. I had their Singapore rice noodles and it was fantastic. The Singapore came in a very large portion and was more than worth the price. If you're looking for a good meal for a good price then look no further.
google avatar

Mark J.

Yelp
Ready to pick up in 10 mins. Our staple coming in from the lake on Sunday evenings. Solid American/Chinese food.
google avatar

Kaydian W.

Yelp
Bland and tasteless food. I ordered general tso chicken and was very disappointed. The chicken was chewy and there was barely any sauce on the chicken. I will not be back.
google avatar

Sarah L.

Yelp
Very good chinese food. They are the best chinese restaurant in town. Love their food
google avatar

Marlin M.

Yelp
We get a combo platter to share because the portions are generous. We haven't had a bad meal! The crab Rangoon is very good as well!

Yelp
Amazing food! Being a first timer here I asked the cashier lady what her favorite dish was, she said Mongolian beef. That happens to be in my top 5 so I ordered it with white rice and hot and sour soup. Oh my word the soup. Spicy and wonderful as only hot and sour can be, it was brought out in a plastic tub (they obviously do a lot of to go orders) but I didn't mind. It also came with the little fried bread strips. The food was out before I had gotten through a quarter of my soup, I was surprised by how quick they were! Fresh and steamy, the white rice was clumpy like it should be and the Mongolian beef was very flavorful. I will be recommending this place to everyone I know and will be back myself on a regular basis!

Yelp
Went here for the first time ever last week. Ordered the General Tso's chicken with rice. It was priced great, but the food wasn't the best at all. Rice was dry and tasteless. Soy sauce didn't even help the taste. There was plenty sauce on the chicken but it was extremely chewy, almost like a rubbery taste. Quite possible I just chose a bad day to eat here, but I'll choose a different Chinese place to try before coming back here..

Yelp
High marks for consistency and cleanliness. Been going here since they opened as it's only a couple hops from the house. The food is better than most of the buffet-style Chinese restaurants in the Boro, and the prices are reasonable for a fast-food type restaurant. Lately we've been ordering the Singapore Mei Fun, a noodle dish with a light but spicy curry sauce and shrimp. Really nice. It's family-run and it's been fun to watch the young son grow up and begin to work at the register. Makes me want to keep coming back. They're doing it right.

Yelp
One of the best Chinese take out places I've had around town. We know they're pretty busy because of the college crowd so we always order ahead and it's done right on time. The General Tso Chicken is what I always get and its fresh. Happy Family is great as well because of the mixture of meat in the brown gravy. I haven't had a bad experience with them and the lunch/dinner prices are great and you get more food for your buck.
google avatar

Cleveland S.

Yelp
This is simply the best Chinese take out I have ever had. Nuff said. But I will elaborate. The dinner portions are enormous I have never finished my meal. That is saying something. The starters are great as well. My favorite thing on the menu is the sesame chicken dinner portion with white rice. And as always the egg role and fortune cookie. If you want Chinese take out, go nowhere else!!!!

Alex L.

Yelp
I've read a bit of reviews. Mostly bad ones. I'm sorry that y'all had a bad experience, but these are the nicest, most loving people I've ever met. They do have respect for customers. They enjoy having business with you. Their food is outstanding. Just because you had a horrible experience doesn't mean that these chefs are bad at what they do. I've eaten their food many many times. It's always amazingly well done. Don't always depend on what most reviews say. Most people just get upset & write up a fake review. Definitely try out this restaurant. Love getting to come back each time with a smile on my face.

Rachael C.

Yelp
Literally just sat here waiting for 45 minutes.... even if this ends up being the best Chinese food I've ever had, probably won't come back. Pretty sure they forgot about our order.

Kayla M.

Yelp
I've been here twice in the past month and i really like their food, I've gotten Generals Tso's & sesame chicken, and also their plain lo mein. The low mein tastes a TAD different than what I'm used to back home (PA) but regardless still good. The only complaint i have really is their egg rolls don't taste up to par. Other than that, everything is perfect.

Yelp
pretty nice Chinese food in Murfreesboro, the owner is very kind, I highly recommend "happy family", it contains all of delicious ingredients!

Leslie P.

Yelp
Signed up for Yelp just to leave this review. Four times in a row they messed up our order by not giving us everything we paid for. I'm beginning to think they're doing this on purpose. We wont be going back. The last time we asked the man behind the counter if he checked the order. He didn't speak english so it was pointless to say anything else. They are obviously not the only "hole in the wall" Chinese place in town so theyve just lost our business and I will definitely be telling everyone I know. Buyer beware (and double check the stapled up brown bag, because all of what you paid for may not be in there.)
google avatar

Abbey H.

Yelp
I would give them 5 stars but the last time I ordered fried rice, the rice wasn't fresh and kinda stale. Other than that experience, it is always a good experience. The usually have someone at the front that speaks perfect English which makes it much easier for special requests on orders. Good prices, good food! Always busy!

Haohan H.

Yelp
very good food!i really like mogian beef, Singapore rice noodle is curry flavor. You can order genesal chicken no sauce (fried chicken with hot oil )is secret lunch special (come with fried rice and egg roll or soup)is 5-6dollar.diner combo 7.25.very worth meal!!

Yelp
Horrendous service. It took a solid 45 minutes for us to get our food from the time we ordered. Other customers walked in, ordered, and received their food before we got ours. I will discourage anyone from ever eating there. Also, the food was sub par, even for Chinese food here. I will never eat at this place ever again.
google avatar

Mahsan H.

Yelp
One star because I had to. I usually don't write reviews on unpleasant experiences but I felt obligated to write this. I went here on a whim as it was a late Saturday night (a little before 10) and we were hungry. Decided to go in & order in person to uncomplicate the process. Ordered general tso chicken & orange chicken with the noodles and also bourbon chicken with fried rice. Waited for a good 30 min. Took the food home and realized there was no egg rolls that come with the entree. The fried race wasn't fresh, very stale with frozen vegetables. The bourbon had no flavor. The General tso and orange chicken were both put in the same container, go figure. And again, noodles were not fresh. Couldn't reach anyone since the restaurant was already closed at 10:30 so I waited till the next day to call. The girl in the front tried to say the fried rice was deep fried but it was fresh. And that the general tso & orange were different sauces. And to come by to grab an egg roll the chef forgot. She didn't even try to offer to fix the mistake even after I spent almost $24 on crap. I've ate a buffet and it's been way better than this. Do yourself a favor and save your time and money.

Cody G.

Yelp
Best Chinese takeout around we eat from there bi-weekly and one combo plate each is more than enough to suffice for 2 meals. Go there and try something new it's delicious and the people are 90% of the time very sweet

Monique S.

Yelp
I visited yesterday evening around 10 o'clock maybe a little earlier and order the sesame chicken with no seeds however upon getting home with the mail I ate the broccoli in it was delicious but the meat it's self began to hurt my stomach really badly and it didn't taste like sesame chicken and it wasn't very sweet at all it tasted like more of a soggy just average red sauce it wasn't goodI took the food back in the container that it wasn't nothing eight but one piece of the chicken and asked if they could re-make me another meal that was a sesame chicken and let them know that the chicken head hurt my stomach the man with some sort of bruise on his four head began to yell and go off about how he wasn't going to remake the food or refund me . I let him know I would just take it up with my bank. The sad thing about it was unlike most Asian food places where you must wait at least a good 10 minutes to get your food and it's usually fresh and hot and delicious he serve me my food in less than two minutes and it was not a Call in order I ordered at the China panda. First and last time going there. No one in my family or my in-laws famliy will never purchase anything from that restaurant , due to the experience I had which was very negative.
