Having lived in the area for several years now, this has become my first choice for dim sum primarily because of convenience. It has gotten much more popular now and is much busier than it used to be. Service isn't very good when it gets busy; servers running around all over the place but not much seems to get accomplished. It takes forever for a request to get answered.
I don't like that they charge a "table fee" per person. What does that even mean? What does a table fee cover???
Anyway, the food is very clean, meaning that they do things like take the extra step to devein the shrimp. Because of that, my husband is a huge fan of their dim sum versus that of Monterey Park. Unfortunately for China Red, my family is still old skool, so they don't want to come here because of the lack of push carts. Their loss! The dim sum here tastes super fresh because it's made-to-order.
The downside is that this place is really expensive. A decent meal for two people will run you close to $40 with tip.
