China Sea Chinese Restaurant

This was my first time ordering from this restaurant, and unfortunately, it will be my last. I ordered fried rice with egg and chicken wings, and while eating, I discovered a fried cockroach in the rice. This is a serious health and safety concern and completely unacceptable. I hope the management addresses this issue immediately and ensures proper hygiene and food safety standards are followed.

I called for delivery but because it was going to take longer i decided to pick up but when i get there they send it out first thats why i called now i have to wait for my food she was charging me the delivery fee too finally got to eat my food and its not what i ordered and the spare ribs are dry no sauce on it

LOVE LOVE LOVE their Ham Fried Rice! ONLY PLACE I've ever heard had it in New Jersey!!!!

They renovated the building but not the restaurant. I stopped coming here because in the summer I seen their kitchen door on the side of the building was open and seen a bowl of meat sitting on the floor next to the door. Anything could of crawled in the bowl.

This joint has a hit and miss reputation. Has been through many cook's and front counter gal's. The food was out standing for awhile. What happen China Sea? My last few orders really sucked. Meat cuts off. Tuff couldn't chew. Cheap rice. Frozen vegetables. Overall taste, greasy. No condiments. Time to move on.

The food here is very good. They make dishes come out very tasty. I had the shrimp with broccolli. Sometimes, they are swamped with orders, so it may take a few minutes to get your order. The atmosphere is just like a fast food restaurant, but then again, this is mostly a Chinese take out restaurant. People mainly come here for good food to take home with you, or eat on the go.

Heck no stay away do you will not get upset yuckkkkkk super crappy food just trash...make sure you read reviews

BICYCLE LADY! The Sesame Chicken tastes pretty much the same as any other Chinese joint but I order strictly from here just because the delivery lady delivers on a BICYCLE all year long. Smartest food delivery person in the neighborhood! Tip your bicycle lady!

The worst Chinese food I have ever eaten ever!!!! Have ordered from them twice and both times same results.Ordered house fried rice, chicken was still raw.

1000000000% HANDS DOWN! The best Chinese food in the entire world. Everywhere I go I eat Chinese food, (because of how China Sea made me love Chinese food) and I've been to a lot of places! But this place takes the crown. Have been eating from here for over 15 years and it never ceases to amaze me! (Half Chicken, plain fried rice) is my go to, with hot sauce & soy sauce!. I literally have it every time I'm in town. Hope this place never changes.

Lady would not stop yelling at me over the phone and continue d to make up prices when I had the menu right in front of me. HORRIBLE customer service and bugs in there food. Would not recommend.

FYI- China Sea is CLOSED until April 15th. My husband stopped by and there's a sign on the door.

I really love the food there. I order Srimp with broccoli and it's delicious. You should consider trying it.

I Googled Chinese restaurants close to me & China Sea popped up. I ordered by phone & the lady was very hard to understand. She has a very thick accent. I was worried the delivery & food order would be messed up. I ordered cheese wonton & lunch orange chicken. I asked for the orange chicken to be very spicy. Delivery took about 30 minutes on NYE in the afternoon. The delivery guy called me when he was a few seconds away. He was very nice & thankful for the order. Loved that the food was still hot! Temperature hot! Very impressive. The lunch order comes with pork fried rice but mine had no pork in it. Orange chicken was tasty but not spicy. The cheese wonton was very delicious. When you bite into it, the cheese spills out because it is so stuffed.

Terrible customer service, had missing items on my order so I called In to complain. Lady was extremely rude and yelled at me neglecting to acknowledge my complaint. In top of that the food was not good.

First time ever eating from here never again. Rice was uncooked and I found a bug in my food. Just horrible. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. I want my money back.

I don't even leave review but I had to cause I can not believeeeeeeee this place have bad review. they food so good . Me my picky man & kids eat from here sometimes 2/3 times a week . Most of the food is good, but I am very upset with the service. At first, they said there is no mien (noodles) that comes with chow mien, and that`s just how it works in the United States. As a Chinese person who has been living in the US, I know that "chow mien" translates to stir-fried noodles, and no other restaurant has ever denied me noodles, so I was upset. Furthermore, it says on the menu that chow mien is supposed to come with fried noodles and white rice, and we pointed that out. Then after a very insightful conversation in Chinese over the phone, they sent deep-fried noodle fries. I don't know where in China they come from, but I don't know of ANY province or part of China that will pass this as Chow Mien...

This is the first time I am ever writing a review for a restaurant. I usually only keep to one when I find the perfect one. Currently I am dorming at school and I really was in the mood for Chinese so I asked my friend for a recommendation. He said China Sea. The reviews from google were not to great but I wanted to be nice and give it a try. So here it goes. The outside picture of the store from Gooogle looks old. Not inviting but I did not want to judge a book by its cover. When I called, the man that picked up was very nice (unlike the other comments I read). His English was bad though. I asked him what the minimum delivery was and he didn't understand me. Then when he saw I had a small order he was upset but was OK with it. Fast Delivery Usually the delviery guys for pizza or other places come to the dorm. This guy made me go all the way to his car to get my food. I mean it is not far. But the principle of it is that it is DELIVERY! I gave him a tip of $3.20. At first he only gave me $5 back and slowly started to give me the rest but I said keep it. That was rude. He should have given me all of my change back at once. I don't think it is too expensive though. I ordered Chicken and Broccoli, a wonton soup and a coke for about $11 something, When the guy came I didn't get my coke. I realized this right away (since I was already skeptical). He said he was just the delivery guy and didn't have it. So I said I want my coke or money back. He said they were not going to come back just to give me a coke. I got mad and said then I want my money. He was like well I have water. I said no. He said fine all and called his boss. Then he gave me a $1 back. The chicken and broccoli is too greasy. The top of the rice was dry and the bottom disgustingly greasy. The taste was "OK." The wonton soup was a little better but still not that great. The fork and spoon I got were dirty. The had stains, looked old and used plus had hairs on them, almost like dog hairs. OVERALL I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. Should have went with my gut feeling in the first place!

China Sea, you make me sad. Sesame chicken was congealed and not crispy at all. Chicken and broccoli was undercooked, but the garlic sauce was alright. I had ordered this in the pint size, but they sent over a small platter. The beef in the fried rice was tender and well seasoned but the rice was also undercooked. Had to chew extra hard to down my meal. Not worth the money!

I've eaten in multiple Chinese restaurants and buffets in many different states. None of them compre! I have been eating from here for over 10 years, and it still is better than any other Chinese restaurant I've eaten in. Absolutely delicious fried chicken, and their fried rice (no pork, no veggies) is to die for!!!!! Recomento to anyone who likes Chinese. It will be the best you've eaten.

The food it's really good...I always past in front and never have time to stop, today I decide and definitely was a surprised...

Their seafood noodle is very tasty! Looks appealing with green red orange yellow colors. It has shrimps,crab meat, water chestnuts, peppers, unions,baby corn, carrots bamboo root, celery in it.

Not a big fan of Chinese food but I had a craving for it today so I decided to sit in and eat. The food was tasting good until the owner decided to spit and guess where he chose to spit, right behind into a trash can where I was sitting at. I stopped eating and called him a nasty SOB. They are all nasty in this place. The cook is in the back sneezing hard while cooking food and the manager doing the same. Will not be eating chinese food again.

I ordered a couple egg rolls and they didn't deliver them to me. After I call and told them they said they would bring them in a hour. Got charged for them and still they never brought them.

Mo shu chicken is good. Also. They didn't put extra plum sauce when I picked up as I asked so they sent a delivery over to bring it. That's pretty good stuff.

This place is awesome..... I've been ordering from this place for years, customer service is what you expect from a Chinese restaurant, fast pace and trying to get you in and out as fast as possible. Some people don't like that but hey I'm only here for the food. The food is delicious, always hot, always on point. Delivery is the fastest I've ever experienced I live a few blocks away from here and 10 minutes after I place the phone call the food is at my door. Love the lady on the bike always fast with deliveries( she don't play games about deliveries)

I am writing this with hopes that the restaurant will improve its service. First... the rudest service time after time. Keep in mind I have ordered from this local place by default (based on its location to me). When you call most of the time the person on the phone is very rude. One major thing to notice is ... if you happen to have one of their menus (which I did). I noticed even if I ordered the same thing the price would slightly fluctuate. I would ask for a break down and it would at times be met with a rude response. That finally sealed the deal form e about this place. The food is hit or miss fresh. The fried rice often is fully ever cooked. The sauces vary in the degree of cornstarch and thickness. It seem they don't really care about providing outstanding food service. They seem to care more about volume and getting more food for money out the door. This isn't personal; it's really about good service to the consumers of this restaurant. They serve a diverse community. That community needs to be shown respect. A place like this can't get better if the truth is no spoken.

Good place to get cheap and fast Chinese food but, dont expect fine dining here. The deliveries are quick enough. I ahve been ordering from here for a while and the food has rarely disappointed me. One of the better fast food places in my area. They dont speak english that well by you can manage. Overall I think its a good place.

Best shrimp lo mein in town. Highly recommend ordering from here if you want great Chinese food.

Had delivery and must say the Wonton soup was the BEST!! I loved how the Wontons were delivered in a separate container from the broth so they didn't get soggy. Will 100% be ordering from here again.

This is the first time I have ever taken the time to write a review about any restaurant. The food was ok. The first time I ordered delivery the delivery man overcharged me and included his tip in without asking and was very short with me. The second time I ordered the lady who answered the phone was extreamly rude and so unprofessional. Everytime I asked a question, she cut me off midsentance. I cant see paying anyone to treat you like that. Never again.

The lady who answers the phone is EXTREMELY rude. When ordering my food she hung up on me and then after I got my food my order was wrong so I called and again she was extremely rude. And once again hung up. This place is not even worth the head ache. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! Way too many Chinese places around for such horrible service.

I called them and the girl that I was speaking with was rude. She was like; "what do you want? " with an atitude and of course a poor accent. I didn't say anything about it and made my order. She said my total was $18.80. So she took around 35 minutes to get to my house and she came riding on a bike. I asked the price once again just to see what she would say and she said $19. Okay, so I gave her a 20 dollar bill and said thank you. She looked at me like I had 3 heads and said; "that's it?" I said yes and said thank you once again and bye. So while I'm eating, I ordered the happy family which comes with veggies, meat and shrimp, etc. It tasted and smelled horrible. I don't know if it was like that becuase they don't care on sundays but it was not good. The general tso's chicken in the other hand was pretty decent. Not planning on calling back anytime soon. Actitude, disrespectful employees and the food didn't reach expectations.
