Yelp
Ive lived downriver for a year now and ive been searching for a nearby Chinese place to rival my favorite detroit spot.
This is only a few miles away from my house but surpriaingly, I never happened upon it, until now.
.
.
Ive know about it about a month and have eaten there 3 times.
.
Its ran by a couple, they are following COVID protocol. Because ots just them, it takes AWHILE. I dont think ive ever eaited so long for takeoit Chinese. An hour probably on one visit. But the food is good. Like, gooddd.
Ive tried Almond chicken (huge portions, good breading, not a fan of the gravy)
Sweet and Sour Chicken, (Good breading, good portion, sauce is pretty good.)
Orange Chicken, General Tsos Chicken, Both good. Very similar, with the GT being just a bit spicy. But not really lol.
Sesame Chicken- DELICIOUS. Probably one of my favorites from here.
Shrimp with lobster sauce- (delicious, brown sauce, IYKYK)
Curry Chicken (could be more curry-y for me)
Hot and Sour Soup- AMAZING. THIS IS WHY I CAME BACK. So much TOFU, chicken chunks, mushrooms, the smell of sesame oil. Its delicious.
Fried wonton- just regular soup wontona deep fried.
Crab rangoons- good flavor, a bit overfried.
.
The portions are big.
.
The prices are good.
.
Just dont be in a hurry for the food, call an hour ahead, and then wait the hour.
If they dont answer, keep calling. Takes me about 20 minutes to get thru.
.
But its worth it.
