Chinaski

"In a decor fitted out with upcycled materials and untreated wood, the owners propose a short and well-curated menu, rustled up in their large open kitchen. By day, enjoy cake in a coffee shop atmosphere; in the evening, the creative bistro takes over: fillet of pollack cooked to perfection, tres leches (milk cake) soaked in whisky for dessert, and excellent natural wines. Plus pancakes for Sunday brunch." - Michelin Inspector

Absolutely loved sitting at the chef's kitchen observing the love they put into their delicious meals. It's a tiny little place but absolutely adorable, fresh and rapid service, no nonsense but beautifully presented. Definitely try their cherry and bean salad and the grilled octopus which were absolute highlights. Menu changes with the freshness of whatever is available so be prepared to go with the flow. Service is so friendly and personal, received an English explanation of everything when I was struggling. Would definitely recommend and will come back next time I am back.

Beautiful experience! The staff were exceptionally kind and fun. In a very good way, it felt more like a private chef experience than a typical restaurant one. Food was phenomenal. Each ingredient was fresh, high quality, intentionally chosen, cooked to perfection, and beautifully plated. Do not hesitate to go—make sure to make a reservation!

The service was amazing, welcoming and personal. The place has very simple design, but the food is great. We almost licked the plates... the first and main dishes were fantastic. The brownies was the only thing we didn't like, and they didn't charge us for it. The wine was also really good.

Best dinner I had in Paris in 9 months. Everything, from starters -eggplant with citrus drops & pomegranate seeds- to mains -grilled octopus with tomato sauce or beef tataki- and then the desert -Sicilian gateaux- was exceptional. Service was great too. You should come!

Probably the best price performance dinner around. Incredibly nice staff - eating at the chef's table is a great moment. The food is nice and controlled. Youth is obvious and that's a good thing. Natural wines served with love.

We came for brunch on the Sunday. The food was good but the service was quite slow maybe because we seated outside.

Amazing place, welcoming people even the chef took the time to explain us everything about the different concepts, the food is just DELICIOUS: a gourmet trip, I totally recommend!

Very cozy and small restaurant, extremely kind staff, special food, but very pricey!! Went there for dinner and all dishes were unique and unlike most I've seen before. You can see everything going on in the kitchen, which is interesting too, but it was kind of crammed. Vegetarian options unfortunately very limited, but delicious as well.
