A Westside standby with rolling dim sum carts and an all‑day menu. Highlighted in Portland Monthly’s Beaverton dining coverage and relied on by families for weekend cart service without the cross‑town drive.

Quiet environment, cheap food and good taste. I packed a portion home after eating. The waiter was very nice.

Everything we ordered was tasty, and food was on the table in under 10 minutes. Our servers were helpful and pleasant. It’s not a fancy place, but it’s definitely a good night out. Many vegetarian options, and the chef respected our low salt request.

We’ve been coming during the week day and it’s not as busy. We enjoy the dim sum and combo meals because it’s always filling. Can’t wait to try other dim sum dishes! I love that you can pay at your table and they bring over their portable point of sale system if you want to pay with a credit card or NFC (Apple, Google, Samsung Pay)

Had a quick dinner alone. Unfortunately, I over ordered again. I did ask if I had ordered too much and I was getting a same answer that I used to hear over here - it depends on people. Looking at my size, though putting on weight but I don't think that I am a big eater.. haha, may be I had been under estimating my own weight. Anyway, the food is acceptable and suit to my taste. I wish I could have been here with more people so that I may try more variety. If you are looking for Cantonese food near Beaverton, I will still say that it's worth to try. Specially if you want to eat Dim Sum. Being eating alone, the cost is always higher as I tend to order more...

Google
Reminds me of Chinese restaurants in Oʻahu. Serving dim sum all day. If you come at lunch time, you can choose dim sum off the carts. They also sell whole and half ducks. Hot tea (free) is served right away when the bring water. They have a choice of traditional family style meals, easy pick course meals, as well as individual plates.

Big, filling portions on their dim sum menu. My favorite item is their siu mai. They are huge, juicy and full of flavor. The rest of the items were delicious as well. Service is quick and friendly. Although they don’t have carts full of food for you to browse and choose, you order using paper slips where you tick off the boxes for which items you want and they come back later to bring them to you. The venue itself is huge with mostly big tables.

The flavors in this restaurant are not outstanding, but they are all normally delicious. It is nice that they offer dim sum all day long. The spacious restaurant has a pleasant view and is a great place to get together with friends. Chinese food is a great choice for large gatherings. Today, six of us got together and had 12 different kinds of food (about 20 dishes including dim sum). We were already full of food and about to explode🤣.

Google
I like the atmosphere, very large spacious restaurant with lots of seating. I thought the food was delicious. I tried their dimsum and regular menu and I enjoyed the food. But my stomach hurt & felt bloated both times I ate the foods. Also, when I dined in, I didn't receive much service. I had to break off their chit-chat to get the staff to refill my tea. When I picked up my online order, I asked them visually the portion of 1lb of roasted pork. It was a simple question but the service was extremely rude and brushed me off. I'm not going back again.

Yelp
We've never had a bad experience here. Definitely better than the current rating represents. Can be hectic during peak times, but have always gotten stellar service. Anything on the menu here is good.

Yelp
Great Service! Very average, okay tasting dim sum Siu Mai tasted off Ha Gao was more like grounded shrimp, shrimp ball like instead of whole shrimp Sticky Rice Chicken was the best Tea was average cheap tasting When I first came in, there were no customers so worry sets in, but let me just try.. just like pictures looked okay, but maybe it actually taste good? Was below average.. however Service saved it to being okay.. Portland is not known for super good dim sum like that unless H.K. Cafe which is good but not great Not much ambiance just full of tables Clean restrooms

Yelp
Food was excellent, restaurant very nice and clean - when the bill came the sever counted it - said $80? I said yes that is what we owe you- she said no tip? And stood there and I told her when we leave we will leave the tip on the table since we are still eating - NEVER. Has any server asked for a tip - LESSON LEARNED - her tip was ZERO

Yelp
Food is authentic and makes me sad that i live sooo far away! We ordered enough for five people! Ambiance is fine, chatty environment, friendly staff, and clean establishment! Must visit again soon!

Yelp
I have usually dined at the restaurant, but got it to go this time. Really easy and efficient to order. Only took 15 min. Everything was yummy.
google avatar

Dennis F.

Yelp
Very good food was somewhat empty once I got here but picked up after a while, service was cool, and the atmosphere was very basic. They ficus more on the quality of food verses decoration and all the other hype. It reminds me of Chin's Garden back in Detroit, MI, off 6 mile and Southfield Freeway service drive. Food there is similar, straight to the point, no frills, just good. If you haven't been here, I suggest that you stop by and try them out.

Matthew S.

Yelp
There were bugs in my drink and they acted like it was no big deal when I had it addressed. Food itself was leaving much more to be wanted, but that experience made me lose my appetite

Yelp
Having lived in Hong Kong for 5 months and growing up eating Cantonese food, I always yearn to find good Cantonese food as my comfort food. While the sweet and sour pork flavors were right, the sauce was a little too runny and thin for my liking. The Japanese Tofu with Mushrooms were quite delicious, but it was a bit overwhelming with the generous amount of broccoli that came with the dish. Since I came during dinner, I was not feeling dim sum but have heard many positive things about it which they serve ALL DAY. definitely give this place a try!
google avatar

Ploy N.

Yelp
Their dimsum is solid! Looks like they might even do it all day too. No carts, you tick what you want on the piece of paper and then your food arrive promptly after. I noticed that their dimsum items are on the bigger side compared to other spots, making them great for sharing with a group. We got a wide array of things but the top three for me were the Shin Roll, the BBQ Rice Roll, and the Shrimp and Chive Dumpling. I loved how filled these were. The BBQ pork in the rice roll was so tender and flavorful. The shrimp was also super fresh and bouncy. Definitely would go back for these. Prices were decent too with the small stuffs being $5.5, medium stuffs were $6.5, and the large ones were $7.5. We'll be back!

Yelp
Came back to eat here for the first time in at least 5 years, or maybe longer. (I am pretty sure this restaurant had a different name at that time). Back then they were still running around with the carts and you could see and pick and choose what you wanted to eat; now you select your dimsum items -- or larger entrees -- off the menu and they bring out what you order. It was a mix. A few things came out to the table very hot and steaming and most were just warm/hot (so on the plus side, no danger of burning your mouth on the first bite and regretting it the rest of the meal). I don't think it was worth the price and I don't plan to return anytime soon. The place was pretty full for lunchtime on a Friday (they were seating people in half of the restaurant), but no wait.

Yelp
Packed today ... still the best Dim Sum in town and better prices than the East side restaurants You can order Dim Sum all day and night. I'm ordering some to go for steaming tomorrow morning before taking my family to the airport. My family's favorites are: Ha Kow, Pineapple Bow with Cha Siew, Rice Noodle wrapped shrimp Normy Gai Pork Shew My Chive & Shrimp Ball Scallop Ball Wo Kok Dan Tat - Egg Tarts Lo Bak Ko Shin Roll Deep Fried Lobster Ball
google avatar

Martina B.

Yelp
Chow mein - good. Thing noodles, not a lot of chicken, which is fine, good flavor Egg drop soup - terrible. Grey in color, had mushrooms and tofu?? Weird to put into this soup. I don't think there's any eggs in it??? Scratches the Chinese food itch, but don't order the egg drop soup.
google avatar

Nathaniel J B.

Yelp
I'm not sure what's changed since my first visit but something has definitely changed and now my go to local dim sum spot for a few of my go too!! Definitely not the very best but quick fix and reasonably priced plus to go service is pretty good?
google avatar

Takako S.

Yelp
I wanted eat porridge after heavy holiday meals. We had seafood one and chicken one, both were good and make my stomach happy. Also nice dim sum place closer to our house. Food cart is going around only during weekend but less busy during the week. Service was fine and I would go back again.

Debbie W.

Yelp
The food was not good! The BBQ pork was very fatty and seemed raw in places. Kung Pao Chicken was terrible, the Sweet and Sour Chicken had more coating than chicken and the sauce was really bad. The best thing? The rice!! I've ordered from them a couple times before with the same experience, but I thought I'd try one last time. This IS the last time. No pictures because we threw it away.
google avatar

Michael C.

Yelp
This place is a hit or miss, usually a miss for us. Dim sum comes out cold, service is meh, and the prices are high. Might be worth a drive to the eastside if people have the time for some better dim sum.
google avatar

LJ F.

Yelp
Great dim sum. Good variety and friendly staff. I love dim sum but hard to find in Portland area. We drive one hour to eat here well worth it.
google avatar

Brad P.

Yelp
Best Dim Sum I've found on the Westside of town. No carts but they are still very fast and efficient without as much chaos.
google avatar

Meek M.

Yelp
Terrible quality, sesame beef was one huge overcooked dry hunk, noodles were barren and had order the house "special" lo Mein. BBQ pork was all gristle. Even the white rice is gross. There was a time this place was good but something has changed and not for the better. Save your money.

Yelp
Decided to try this place out after looking for a good dim sum spot! Saw it on tiktok and thought why not give it a try with my family. We come from california, and a lot of food spots in oregon don't really compare to there, so we try not to have high expectations. We arrived right at opening on a Friday, and were seated immediately. We were given our team and ordered quick. We asked to keep one of the menus because we typically order our first round and then order a different second round. While waiting, one of the workers was yelling at our server in front of us because he left the menu with us. He asked again if we wanted to keep it and we said yes. The lady wasn't too happy about that for some reason. Our food came out fairly quickly. Taste wise was pretty good. We ordered shui mai, har gaw, rice noodles with shrimp, spare ribs, tripe, egg tart, and the sweet rice cake. Our favorites out of everything were the egg tart and rice cake. Now the reason for our 3 stars was because at checkout, we paid with card and one of the workers were standing there while we signed off and chose tip. We decided to pay tip with cash and when we chose "No tip" on the machine, the lady quickly said "no tip?!". I thought in this day and age we aren't asking this these. She also should NOT have assumed we weren't going to tip. This very much soured our experience. I understand that restaurants and servers deserve a tip but asking and assuming in such a rude manner is not the way to do it. Service should definitely be handled better, especially when it comes to tip.

Yelp
This review is for the dimsum items only. This place has the BEST SHU MAI in PDX! Waaaaay better than the big dim sum places on the East side. I took off 1 star because they do not have the cart. If they bring back the cart, I will add 1 more star.

Yelp
It's unfortunately disappointing that this is one of if not only Beaverton's dim sum restaurants. We really need something better than this. Some items we ordered came out hot while others were room temperature. Not sure why they serve cheung fun in plastic clasp containers?? That is just weird. We ordered from the menu and all of our dishes arrived in less than two minutes, which was alarming. Food didn't taste fresh. Prices were expensive for the quality of the food. The space has a sad, dim vibe and makes you wonder what you're doing with your life that led you to eat at this restaurant.
google avatar

Yelp
Gone down hill since it moved from walker rd yearssss ago. No more carts going around with dim sum in it since Covid days. You order your dim sum on a sheet, they then bring it out to you on a cart.... We were thinking it would be more fresh this way, but no. Everything except the tripe was mediocre warm. Chinese sushi was stale, hai gow wasn't hot nor the chicken feet. And it was a Saturday lunch time. There were plenty of workers, they all seemed busy, however us and a few other table near us were waiting for service. We were waiting for our check while they were waiting to order, had to flag someone down twice (once for left over box and again for our check)
google avatar

R T.

Yelp
Hadn't been since the pandemic and what a disappointment. Dim sum no longer served from carts, many of the items were just warm, wrappers too sticky, flavors not fresh. Pretty bland and unappealing food all around, stomach not happy. Service was ok. Place is oddly configured and lacks any semblance of charm. Price was outrageously expensive for the poor quality of ingredients. Crossing this spot off the list.
google avatar

Lewis T.

Yelp
My fav Chinese restaurant in PDX! Never disappoint on quality and taste. I tried many others, but this is the best for my tastebuds.
google avatar

Kristi P.

Yelp
I came for dim sum on a Sunday. Although you order your dishes vs. roll carts, it's not necessarily "made to order." It seems like the kitchen just keeps the carts stocked, and the staff just collects your order from those carts. Some of the carts did not seem warmed (I.e the steamed dishes), and the metal trays were cold to the touch. The food itself was not cold, but I could see how quality would really decrease if you came on a slow day and the food is sitting around longer. The food overall was good--not great. The har gow wrapper was too thick and slightly smushy. The XLB was surprisingly good and had a good amount of juice despite not being very warm. The items not on the dim sum menu are made to order. The salt and pepper squid had good flavor, but the squid was rings and tentacles vs. thicker cuts. Service is pretty fast. We were seated right away, despite it being pretty full because the space is large.

Yelp
Best dim sum on the westside I've had. Consistently delicious Togo. My favorites are: Shrimp and Snow Pea Leaf Baked/steamed BBQ pork buns Shu Mai Shrimp and scallop dumpling Chili oil is fantastic, the regular food menu is also good, though a little spendy. The combos are a great deal. The dim sum is what shines here
google avatar

Yelp
Food was OK but not great. After I gave the woman a very good tip she kicked us out of the restaurant because she wanted to close and leave early. That is just poor service.
google avatar

Yolanda E.

Yelp
As usual, the food tasted great. It came hot and quickly. They now offer forks, which is nice. The restaurant has plenty of seating and nice decorations. The prices have gone up a lot. Dim sum ranges from $6.50-8.50 per 3 or 4 pieces. Most entrees are $16-24. Some specialty items are more expensive. The rice costs extra. The tea was free, but when they refilled it it was only hot water with no tea inside. A comparable restaurant is East Harbor. Last I checked, East Harbor's prices were cheaper. But that was a year or more ago.

Mikey R.

Yelp
Food is amazing been coming here for years. But beware you get 1 free refill. They charge you after must be a new thing because it's never been that way. Servers that explained it to us were very rude. Spent over 100 dollars and can't put out a refill on a Sprite. Do better.

Yelp
Parents got sick during Thanksgiving so I ran around looking for Wor Won Ton Soup which is like a cure all "medicine" for sick people. After a couple of places didn't update their hours, Yelp! led me to this place. Order was funny as we both were trying to figure out what the other was saying (truck Bluetooth is terrible), the order was in, directions were locked and I was off to save the parents! As I arrived, the place was PACKED! Always a good sign. The smells were wonderful and the patrons looked happy. They have a "Pick Up" door and that was busy too. Another good sign. As I was waiting for my order, I could see across the restaurant the "butcher guy" with ducks and what looked to be bbq pork hanging (see pics). I asked the person taking the orders if I can get an add-on of bbq pork and she quickly put it through. Got the order, they put it in a box for me for ease of carrying, and I was off! Along the way, I started nibbling on the bbq pork and of course almost ate it all before getting to my parents hotel. I left them a few pieces, but they were at the very bottom. They said the food was good and they were very happy for their "medicine". Let's hope it works and thank you to ChinaTown for being open and very nice.

Jackie B.

Yelp
I got some food to go. Not impressed. I was hoping to find a new Chinese restaurant but it's not this one.
google avatar

Whelin C.

Yelp
Decent food and dim sum menu. We went at around 2-3, so after brunch and lunch times, and the rice noodle wrapped BBQ pork came in a plastic takeout box to our table. It tasted good but it was a little weird. The service wasn't the kindest but definitely efficient. Our food came very fast and the chili oil was very good. Dishes besides the dim sum were a little pricey

Jean O.

Yelp
I have been trying to find a good Chinese food place for Pork fried rice since my favorite place, The Hot Plate closed. I ordered the Pork Fried rice and BBQ pork to try. $34, which was crazy to me. The BBQ Pork pieces were nothing but pieces of fat with miniscule tidbits of Pork. I couldn't even eat it. The Pork fried rice was white in color and had no flavor whatsoever. Even after pouring a bunch of teriyaki sauce on it, didn't help. I threw it away. Just disgusting. I do not recommend this place at all.

Sharon N.

Yelp
Was a slow night so we were greeted and seated quickly. Ordered taro won gok? A deep fried crispy yummy mashed taro with minced meat and shrimp. Orange chicken- great amount. Chicken with vegetables of broccoli, celery, snow peas and Choi sum in a brown sauce. Along with rice. All were tasty and good portions. Three of us shared. Hadn't been here in a long time and will come back. Tea to wash it all down. Server was informative and made suggestions to our questions.
google avatar

Karen G.

Yelp
I always have an assortment of dim sum when I'm here. Myself and several friends enjoy coming here. The service is always attentive. Someday I might even try items off the regular menu, but it's hard to get past the dim sum!
google avatar

Iris L.

Yelp
mediocre dimsum, they were served cold or room temp even though the trays had some steam, not sure how long they keep the food hot but when taken a bite, the core was not hot. deep fried foods and egg tarts were also cold like they've been sitting there idling for a while, did not taste fresh. Dim sum must be eaten hot to enjoy the fine arts in its making and to truly taste all the juiciness from the meat, this includes deep fried foods too, they were also not hot so if it felt more greasy. pricing varies depending on what you order. some are not worth the high cost as compared to instinct ones to purchase from asian grocery stories, however if it was all served hot it might be different too. it was a bit unappealing and unappetizing to get their chili oil scooped our from a bucket that's been left open and no lid for closure. Then it just stays on a cart against the back wall and even the oil has been sitting there for a while as the top layer is more opaque and just yeah old 2/ greasy appearance We asked for our dimsum to be reheated and even then, it was still not very hot. Would really reconsider coming here for their dimsum honestly and ask for foods to be HOT if you want to avoid stomach upset later on.
google avatar

Yelp
After living in Southern and Northern CA for decades, we are so happy to finally found a decent dim sum restaurant in Portland. It takes about 45min from our house but it's worth it! We came at lunch time on Saturday, waited for 5min and got our table. Food came fast and service was very good. Would recommend the roasted pork. We'll be back!
google avatar

Sara W.

Yelp
We really enjoyed this place. We went on a Sunday around 2 and it was surprisingly busy but it was kind of fun to be in the bustling environment. We had to wait a bit to order but once we ordered the food came fast. Everything was really good and we branched out and tried a bunch of new things and things we didn't know what they were and everything was excellent. It was also more affordable than we were expecting. Overall a great experience, the only thing is that I wish they did the cart service thing instead of taking your order and bringing food.
google avatar

Miguel Michael D.

Yelp
The food was delicious! We had the family special which comes out to $20.00 per person. We had a huge spread of food. We had the best fried rice I have ever had. All the entrees were so tasty! We had cashew chicken, sweet and sour chicken, beef and vegetables, tempura, and bbq pork. The breading on it was thick, and just perfect. We had those sweet pork buns. It is like a warm donut filled with bacon. Yum. All the food was so fresh, and tasty. It was Saturday night, and was very busy, but we were all impressed how fast the food was coming out. The atmosphere is a large familiy restaurant with large round tables and open spaces. This is my new favorite place!

Levai H.

Yelp
Service and food quality has steeply declined. Waiter criticized my lack of a credit card tip when I was going to give a cash tip
google avatar

Allison M.

Yelp
I've only ever gotten takeout from here but I absolutely love it! Did I have to reheat the food once I got home 15 mins away, yes, but it was also 38° outside so I didn't care. I was pleasantly surprised by this place. Growing up in SF Bay Area I was definitely spoilt for choice when it came to dim sum. I was craving Dim Sum but had no idea where to look around here. I'm super glad I found this via Uber Eats! Got 5 different medium items and it was perfectly filling for two people. I definitely recommend takeout from here as I haven't dined in person.

Yelp
Best dim sum I have found in the area. Good news! The restaurant operates smoothly with half set aside for take out and the other half as a restaurant. It is set up with tables for two, four, or large families. I am a recent transplant from the San Francisco area which is full of great Chinese food in Oakland, San Francisco and San Jose. This place has many similar selections that are as good as Any I have tried. Tip ignore some of the style choices such as the hot tea served in paper cups and food brought to table on metal rolling trays. You are waiting for fresh cooked items and not food warmed up so be patient! You are there for the food! We went for the dim sum so did not order traditional dishes delivered to nearby tables like cashew chicken or chow Mein or coconut prawns or honey shrimp. They all smelled delicious and came out hot and steaming and smelling yummy. Our table ordered soup dumplings, har gow, char Siu bao, Siu mai and sesame balls and egg tarts. Each item was served fresh, hot, tasty and so delicious we ordered more. The soup dumplings have very thin wrappers with broth and the meat. They were super hot and well seasoned with plenty of broth as compared to the highly rated Michelin starred option at the local mall. The har gow (steamed shrimp dumplings) were full of al dente fresh shrimp and so delicious. The steamed char Siu bao were sticky soft steamed dough with the bbq pork inside. And yes we needed a second order on this one. Hot and well seasoned perfection. Shrimp and pork Siu mai was just like my nanny made when I was a child. She taught me to make these and so I'm pretty picky. These were great. I will order again. For desert we each had a sesame ball and custard egg tart. They were warm and fresh and tat is rare for these delicacies. I NEVER post this kind of detail but this place deserves it. The decor is not special and the location is not special but the food is. Our waitress Jenny took our orders and I appreciated her humor. We will become regulars here. Next day I ordered delivery and enjoyed the har gow and egg rolls. They arrived hot with chili oil and soy sauce and hot mustard. Perfect lunch!

Yelp
This place is absolutely the worst restaurant I've been to. Utter disgrace to Chinese food. Please help yourself and go somewhere else. I'd rather go to Panda Express for take out than here. FOOD We ordered some dim sum, eggplant and roasted duck. We ordered shrimp and chive buns for dim sum and it had a weird taste. The texture feels like it's been reheated MANY times. After the first bite I knew this ain't fresh. The eggplant was pretty bland and okay. It's probably the best dish that we ordered. The roasted duck is where we had to draw the line. The meat came out dark and doesn't look fresh at all. On top of that THE DUCK STILL HAS FEATHERS ON IT. When we asked the waitress about it, she just said "peel the skin and eat the meat." Absolutely disgusting.

Tom S.

Yelp
Stopped to pick up dinner. 2 entrees and an order of fried rice came to $55. Got the food home, and the chicken lo mein had 2 chunks of chicken and like 5 lbs of noodles. The sweet and sour pork came in 2 containers. One with cold chunks of pork and the other with the s/s sauce. The fried rice was pretty good. Spending this much money for a meal you have to assemble yourself is ridiculous. We'll be going elsewhere in the future.
google avatar

Lisa T.

Yelp
1) food was lukewarm at best 2) fish maw soup was beyond bland 3) pro was there's no wait 4) dim sum was mediocre and that's being nice. 5) not coming back sorry not sorry
google avatar

Marjorie O.

Yelp
Great dimsum, yummy foods. Always get good food and quick service. Chicken feet is the best!
google avatar

Scott Y.

Yelp
Very disappointed. Ordered chicken lo mein (take out). You actually had to pick around the noodles to find a little piece of chicken. Fried rice wasn't any better. I usually give a restaurant a brake or two, but the quality and price of what I received was a slap in the face. It is ridiculous for a restaurant to think they are going to get away with this type of service and quality.

Yelp
Great dim sum spot. This used to be near the Nike campus and they moved to the mall across Beaverton town square during Covid. The place is huge and selection and food is good. Got the usuals and they were all yummy. Only thing id avoid is ordering veges while good they were the most expensive I've ever had - 20 bucks for 'a choy'. Maybe it's inflation but wow...
