I recently visited here for a hotpot experience, and overall, it was a great meal! The spicy broth was delicious, with just the right amount of heat to keep things exciting without overpowering the flavors. I was also surprised by how spicy the pickled soup base turned out to be—definitely a pleasant kick! The meat selections were top-notch and tender. The variety of ingredients made the meal even more enjoyable. Service was friendly and attentive, adding to the overall positive experience. Highly recommend for hotpot lovers!

Excellent food, very friendly service and cosy atmosphere. The aubergine with minced pork is otherworldly. The dishes are very reasonably priced too!

If you want good food, go here. It’s all about the food. It was superb! The service from David and Shirley was perfect, they made us feel incredibly comfortable and welcome and even when we must have stayed a little later than expected they didn’t rush us in any way, a delightful local family business. You have to try it. I’ll be back for the salt and pepper chicken wings, the beef was incredible and the flat noodles had a fantastic texture I’ve never experienced. 10/10

This hotpot experience was absolutely amazing! The broths were rich and flavorful—the spicy one was perfectly intense, and the tomato one had a delightful sweetness. The prawns were incredibly fresh, large, and delicious, making them a highlight of the meal. The meats were tender, and paired with fresh vegetables and a variety of sauces, every bite was simply irresistible. Highly recommend!

The hotpot was fantastic! Both broths were flavorful, with the spicy one being bold and aromatic, and the tomato broth light and refreshing. The prawns were a standout—huge, fresh, and absolutely delicious. The quality of the meats was excellent, and the vegetables complemented everything perfectly. A truly satisfying and enjoyable meal!

Had a wonderful meal here this evening, stumbled in by accident and were warmly greeted then served incredibly quickly with the most delicious food- so well priced too !! Really happy to have discovered a local gem🥰 thank you to all the staff for a great experience Edit : came back here for my birthday meal yesterday, after having frequented the restaurant over the past six months. David and all the other staff (apologies I don’t know names) were so accommodating to our large group, making sure we had space and enough food for the evening. I was really looking forward to celebrating here with my friends and Chinese noodle bar made the experience above and beyond special. Consistently delicious flavourful food and friendly service. I didn't know what to expect but I'm glad I tried this place. This is not your typical Chinese restaurant. There are no chips but what you will get is food that is more authentic than what you get elsewhere in new cross and I imagine more than London in general. I recommend the soup, spring rolls and the egg fried rice also the stir fried pork. All the good shown in the picture cost around £35 so this is very well priced.
