LA Times Calls Birdie G’s Santa Monica’s ‘Hottest Restaurant of the Year’ | Eater LA

"A lively counter-service spot near Long Beach that traffics in lavishly flavored comfort food under chef Beeline “Chinito” Krouch, who brings experience from places like Playa Amor to a menu that makes humble tacos feel revelatory. Signature items include a decadent carne asada mac ’n’ cheese — a thick, buttery mix of well-seasoned chopped beef and noodles in homemade cheese sauce — and burnt cheese tacos aimed at low-carb diners. Small plates shine too: cotija-encrusted tater tots with frizzled garlic, perfectly crisp rice-flour–fried cauliflower dunked in a sweet chile sauce inspired by the chef’s mother’s Cambodian-style fried chicken, and a hearty vegetable taco featuring king oyster mushrooms, yams, battered cauliflower and farmers market carrots that appeals to vegetarian and vegan regulars. The food leans toward comforting, drunk-food pleasures, and the space carries a soulful, good-vibe atmosphere." - Farley Elliott

I wished the fried egg was as perfectly sunnyside egg as it’s advertised. For $3 typical charge for this one egg well and dry. The full order of tots were also soggy. For our first time visit, as we’re been craving to try their food, the awards on the wall didn’t seem to equate the value we paid for today. The tacos made up for the unfortunate mid-level loaded tater tots. The sauces were good. The place was pretty clean, and hard to miss which is right off the 605 off-ramp. If we ever come back, we hope that this business makes up for the mediocre dinner experience. It could’ve been the cooks in a hurry to close at 7:07pm. We’ve always been a proponent of being patrons of small businesses. Especially since we’ve heard good things from our friends.

Wow these drinks are so colorful and yum. And the tacos are so good! Drinks: 1. Horchata Thai tea 2. Matcha Thai tea 3. Jamaica lychee 4. Ube Thai tea Food: 5. Street tacos: chicken, shrimp, carnitas 6. Cali burrito I enjoyed the drink flights with different flavors and colorful colors. Tacos are also so good. Casual ambiance with quick service.

Google
All hail the Cambodian & Mexican fusion! 🇰🇭 🇲🇽 We found out about this place through Facebook group on the Long Beach food scene. Some guy was been out of shape because he said that people had totally underrated this place and it wasn’t getting the love it deserved. I really thought it was a ploy just to get more people to read his article in the Long Beach newspaper. It turns out this dude was totally right! I don’t know how this place was empty when we walked in, but the food here is totally worth a drive from wherever you’re coming from. We ordered off of the Tuesday happy hour menu and everything we got was good! - order of half/half Brussels & cauliflower - half order of cotija tots - happy hour tacos: barbacoa, carne asada, carnitas (these are street taco size) - regular sized shrimp taco (not on the happy hour menu) - sample size of the Horchata thai tea. 🥤 All the meats were perfectly marinated with Asian style marinades. I’ll tell you about all of them, but it would take too long to describe the flavors. The brussels sprouts were also marinated in an Asian-style sauce topped with cotija cheese and pickled red onion 🤤 Cauliflower was marinated as well and breaded with rice flour, and fried . Then topped with a lime buffalo style sauce. so good! It’s not a place for a fancy date per se but definitely go here if you want to impress someone with your foodie knowledge. If this place was somewhere like West LA, it would already be all over the gram.

Google
I don’t often review a place after I have only gone once. However, Chinitos Tacos is a hidden gem that needs more business. Chinitos is Asian fusion with typical Spanish dishes like tacos, burritos, and other dishes. When you walk in, you get a friendly vibe with a welcoming atmosphere. While orders take a little longer, it's well worth the wait. All the food I got was great and far exceeds my expectations. The meat was flavorful, the sauces complimented the dish, and everything was cooked to perfection. Chinitos is a hidden gem, that I hope will be able to expand their business further to more locations!

Google
Great menu. My wife and I tried it out after driving by it 100 times. We had a bowl and the tacos. Both were delicious. I got the carne asada, chicken and barbacoa tacos... I must say, the barbacoa was the stand out! Moist and very flavorful! We also had the brussle sprouts which were very good! I want to go back to try the tots, and shrimp taco. Very good food!

Google
I am so sad to hear that they won't be open much longer. My favorites here were the street tacos and the Thai Horchata. I urge that you come in one last time to taste this gem before its gone.

Google
Excellent tasting food & drinks. Tacos are juicy & full of flavor. Extremely clean dining area, my wife & I will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend you to try them

Google
I've been driving by for month's and decided to try for dinner. I ordered 3 Ala cart carne asada tacos, 3 tacos (shrimp, carne asada, and chicken) with spanish rice, and black beans, bowl with barbacoa add fajita veggies, 1 order 1/2 fire cauliflower 1/2 garlic roasted brussels. The food was tasty and fresh. You can only take out, delivery. When you walk in they only allow 1 group in the restaurant at one time. The girl that took our order was pleasant. They brought the food out to our car. The cauliflower was my favorite, it was delicious. I didn't care for the sauce in the barbacoa bowl, but I'm picky with sauce. I will order without it next time. The barbacoa was moist and flavorful. All the tacos were great as well. The bowl and cauliflower/brussels were huge (definitely shareable). I have more than half left and I will be enjoying the rest tomorrow.

Yelp
Chinitos Tacos has fusion tacos with some Asian flavors. I came here for their tacos and got a pork belly taco and asada taco. The tacos are small and they are topped with cabbage, green onion, and pickled onion. Pork belly was tasty, but the meats ran on the sweet side if you like that. I added some of their Cambodian-style chili oil to give a little kick. Overall - the tacos were okay for me. Looking at the menu more closely, I'm noticing that their emphasis is more on their Hawaiian-style plates with rice, protein, and mac salad. (For $3, you can sub rice with garlic noodles). Their LBC combo seems like the best way to try out their pork belly, short rib, and garlic shrimp. I'll have to come back to try that, then I'll update the review. I know that Chinitos reps some Cambodian flavors; however, I'm still trying to understand the concept here. Given that the focus isn't on tacos, they may need to rebrand to make the focus/concept clearer for a more optimized experience.

Yelp
When my husband and I were looking at the menu, the cashier notified us that there was no more chicken. I was a bit bummed out because I had planned to get the Chinitos combo, which had the short ribs and chicken. Ultimately, I decided to go with the pork belly og plate, which came with pork belly, a scoop of rice, and either a mac salad or a spring salad - I opted for the mac salad. My husband got the same option as well. After ordering, we got our waters and waited at the table. The rice and mac salad were both good, and the pork belly had great flavor, though it was a bit on the salty side (probably from the soy sauce). I found myself wishing that I had more rice to balance the saltiness. Overall, the food was tasty and the service was friendly. I would come again, but maybe try another dish instead.

Yelp
So delicious. I will definitely be back for their amazing asian/mexican fusion. My partner actually got meat on their Coach Special, which I recommend over plain like I had it. I wanted to try a drink so I got their jamaica lychee, a nice flavor to sip between more savory flavors in your meal. I would suggest coming here when they have their happy hour - because the price (with an obvious well-deserved tip) was 80$ to feed 3 people during non-happy hour time. But that is everywhere now a days - especially for a unique flavor combo. So I appreciate the happy hour deals offered! Even during non happy hour times - this place had people coming and going with online orders - which was great - because the place probably couldn't have sat them all! Parking can also be an issue, so order online and have someone drop you off to pick it up during the rush! The server that helped us was very kind, helpful, and on all the online orders & in person orders like a pro.

Yelp
Our first time visiting, with a toddler nonetheless, and B-Line (the owner) showed us great hospitality! We ordered the Cali burrito and a chicken quesadilla for our 3 year old daughter. The Cali burrito has that chewy, translucent tortilla that is crispy on the outside, yet stretchy/ chewy/ soft on the inside. I freakin' love tortillas like that! Burrito was well constructed that each bite had carne asada, fries, and the fixings. Loved the melted, gooey cheese, too! Kids chicken quesadilla could have been an adult entree. Loaded with perfectly grilled and tender chicken chunks. Came with a side of beans and rice. My daughter is a picky eater and she was devouring her quesadilla like there was no tomorrow. Thai tea horchata was so unique and yum! Highly recommend. We opted to dine in. B-Line brought us a high-chair and told us that he'd bus the table when we were done. He had a huge catering order that he was working on and he ended up sharing some leftover mac and cheese with my daughter. Again, the picky toddler devoured that mac and cheese immediately. Service was awesome. Food was great - the yelp stars don't lie. Parking is free, in a strip mall lot. Apple pay FTW. There's a constant flow of people coming in to order/ dine in and pickup for take-out. Only a few tables inside so I think most people opt for take-out. I can't wait to come back and try some new items off the menu.

Yelp
Chinitos Tacos is evolving. In the near future the name of the restaurant will simply be Chinitos. It has the same talented chef but with a revised menu. The cuisine is based on comfort food with a blend of Asian and Cambodian flavors. The result is delicious. The chicken was moist and full of flavor. The short ribs were tender and had a nice char that made them sweet. The brussel sprouts were ablsolutely delicious. We'll definitly be back soon.

Yelp
Came back a year later and happy to find that the food and drinks are still delicious. Got one of the burritos this time around and it didn't disappoint.

Yelp
4.5 stars (missing 0.50 because they forgot to give us sauce for the street tacos! It was a to-go order) Drove past this place and decided to look them up on Yelp. I may have ordered too much food but it was all delicious. -elotes: good! My son loved it. -half brussel sprouts half cauliflower: really good and flavorful! Different sauces for each vegetable! Vegetable haters may actually like this dish! -loaded tater tots: came with an egg! Very delicious! I'm usually not a fan of tater tots but this was good! I didn't add a protein to it. -carnitas burrito: very good! It may be the best burrito I've had in a while! The garlic beans in them were good! -matcha Thai tea: yum! -street tacos: barbacoa was delish! Kind of disappointed that no sauces were given and we were not informed if there was a sauce station. So I told my husband to just put hot sauce at home. Overall I would come back!

Yelp
Came in to write this review because the staff and the owner were wonderful and welcoming. Amazing service despite what seems like a pivot in menu. Me and my friends were greeted and given the breakdown of the menu. Most of us got chicken plates which were full of flavor and served with a side of hawaiian mac and 2 scoops of rice. Portions were great! The thai tea horchata was on point. They also made us some garlic noodles to go with our food. Chinitos Tacos went above and beyond, and we look forward to supporting this family-owned business in the future.

Yelp
Week two of their soft opening and I forgot to order some of that delicious horchata thai tea. Tried chinitos combo, still have yet to try shrimp and garlic noodles. The flavor and care is still present. Unsure if I'm reminiscing on the good ole days or it's the state of economy but kind of pricey for the portion size. Will be back when menu gets hammered out.

Yelp
We've been ordering Chinitos via DoorDash every Tuesday in winter because it's too cold for me at the taco trucks! This last week, I missed out on ordering, and when the food came, written on top of one of the boxes was, "Aww, no Gillian this week " It's so rare that people will take the time to recognize a customer and even rarer to make such a sweet comment. What a great restaurant this is, and what a wonderful team. Keep up the great work!! I'll be back next week!

Yelp
Came to get lunch during their happy hour and it was amazing! I wanna start off by saying the girl working the front was so sweet & kind, she let us try some of the drinks which were soo good. I decided to get the vegetarian bowl with spanish rice & it was delicious, I love the pickled cucumbers!! Overall 10/10 & I would definitely come back again!

Yelp
I enjoy the unique fusion of Mexican & Asian food. The staff is friendly & know the menu which is great when trying something new. The ambiance is cool & modern. Parking sucks but that's not in their control.

Yelp
The Mrs. and I had lunch today at Chinitos Tacos. We arrived shortly before noon and the place was pretty quiet. The menu is pretty simple. Chinitos offers tacos, burritos, and even garlic roasted Brussels sprouts. I decided to go with the Build Your Own menu. For $12.50 you get a choice of a main dish which are tacos(you choose 3), a burrito, or a bowl. You also get to choose from six proteins. Those being Carne Asada, chicken, shrimp, Barbacoa, Carnitas, and vegetarian. And you get to choose a side. Your choices are Spanish fried rice, ginger jasmine rice, garlic white beans, fajita mix, and cajun black beans. I ordered a Carne Asada, chicken, and Carnitas taco with a side of garlic white beans and Spanish fried rice. Out of the three I liked the Carne Asada the most. The meat was tender and flavorful. The chicken was a little dry as was the Carnitas. All three were topped with Chintos sauce, which was a green cream sauce, Cotija cheese, and pickled onions and cilantro. The beans weren't white beans, they were pinto beans and had no flavor. The odd thing is, I didn't see pinto beans offered on the menu. The rice was nothing special. Chinitos basically took Spanish rice and crisped it up. The Mrs. ordered the Wifey Bowl which is Chinitos's option for those on a Keto diet. The Wifey Bowl was huge and can best be described as busy. There were so many different flavors and textures that I can't even begin to tell you what the bowl was made of. It was just ok. We also ordered garlic roasted Brussels and I have to say that aside form my Carne Asada taco, they were probably the next best thing we had. The menu says there were supposed to be roasted peanuts on Brussels, but we didn't see any. Overall the service we received was good. The restaurant isn't much to look at. Very basic decors with about 3 tables inside and two outside.

Yelp
I've had this place on my yelp list for I don't know how long. I was finally able to stop by today. I really wish I would have stopped by sooner. This was amazing From the moment I walked in, I was greeted and felt at home, my eyes focused on the three taco combo, but as I sat down, I saw more items on the menu. I will have to come back and try the rest. I did get a sample of the Jamaica lychee, wow! If this is in your list, come today. If it's not in your list, come anyway. Had the asada, shrimp, and chicken. And it's single tortilla--without asking! I love it
google avatar

Yelp
OK, I'm gonna be completely honest and say that I'm giving them five stars not because of me, but because of the people that were in there enjoying their meals. looked around and noticed everybody that was there we're happy eating whatever they ordered. The restaurant is actually very nice and very clean and everybody that was working there that day or very friendly. Now Personally, these tacos are not my favorite and I probably will not go back again, but doesn't mean it's not gonna be your favorite. Just Not my style of tacos, I guess because I'm Mexican-native American and I like a certain style. a little more traditional. That being said, The tacos I ordered were actually really good, not bad at all.... So please go for yourself, check them out, try them out and if you're happy with them , right on . if you're not, you're not ... (Side note) if any place ,,, not just this one, forgets to give you some sauce or napkins or anything like,,, that don't give them a bad review.... That's totally not cool .....

Yelp
Been trying to find low carb foods and it's really challenging. Luckily "keto" is a trend now so it's helping me find low carb things on yelp since so many people mention keto. Chinitos Tacos has a keto/low carb menu item called "The Wifey Bowl". It's the Husband bowl too because this is one of the most tastebud pleasing things I've had in a long time. It was like a variety box of so many delicious things. Green salad topped with sautéed mushrooms, fried cauliflower, amazing brussels sprouts, cucumbers, sautéed onions, pickled onions, avocado, an egg, a disc of crispy cheese, a pretty spicy sauce, and your protein of choice! We both had barbacoa which was wonderful. They also had chicken, carne asada, carnitas, shrimp, and veggie mix. Seriously, every single bite was mind blowing. All the ingredients were different which kept it exciting and yet they paired up together perfectly. The cauliflower was sooooooo good and both of our favorite item in the bowl. The portion was massive. I ate all mine like a glutton but my wife took half of her meal home for later. I loved everything about the "Wifey Bowl" and have been craving another. The salad everything was set on was flavorful too with a good dressing so you don't miss the rice. Another low carb choice is they take the crispy cheese and fold it into a taco shell for low carb tacos. I loved the disc that was in our bowl so I definitely want to try it in taco form. Awesome place. Friendly service and nice seating. Only complaint is the parking lot is really tiny and there's a lot of competing business in the plaza. We were able to snag the only spot left and it was pretty early.

Yelp
Ok, I'm a fan! Especially when it comes to support a fellow Cambodian establishment, I'm ALL IN! Heard about this place from multiple friends and basically hyping it up for me on how amazing everything is! So.... finally had the opportunity to try with one of my girlfriends who lives near by for some dinner eats! Everything I tried was oh so amazing and super flavorful! The best bang for your buck if you want to try their meats is getting their taco Tuesday deal! $2.75/taco! Their loaded tots with egg and shrimp was great as well! The flavors altogether was just harmonious. Service was great as well, they helped explain some favorites and gave us suggestions on what to try. ALSO if you show them that you follow them on IG you get to sample their drinks! SO. Good! My favorite was probably their Thai tea! Definitely would get a full drink next time! Ambiance here is how I would imagine, some beautiful Cambodian artwork displayed on the walls to show case the beautiful country that not too many people know about. Cambodian food is definitely blowing up in such a great way, fusion and not - just giving the people the chance to try and sample how great it is!! Thank you Chinitos tacos for the amazing food!!

Yelp
So so good! Wanted a snack but overordered of course! Had the Carne Asada bowl with no greens please. Tasty and had little pops of unusual (marinated cucumbers) mixed in. Super yummy!!

Yelp
I came here because i thought it was Taste of the Pacific. They were doing pop-up at this location. I ordered garlic noodles, shrimp, chicken and Kalbi thinking it was Taste's recipe and was very disappointed. Not even close but it looks like this "taco" place is trying to copy thier plates

Yelp
From the service to the food it's bomb dot com I love all the menu offer something for everyone.. they have some vegan and vegetarian options on the menu as well as some keto options if you are on keto diet. I love the food as it's sooo fresh.. and just delicious. The place is cozy and casual, but you are here for the great food.

Yelp
I used to come in here all the time the service and food was so good. I just came back recently and things have changed for the worse I tried to give them a chance for about three times . Service is horrible the girls seem like they hate being there since I have came back it's been three times and it can really be a miss with their attitude. Mind you no one is inside . Or maybe one other party. The food is good but not once what it was . Tacos are pretty small for the price that you're paying . Another thing was their drinks are $5.50 I asked for easy since I'm not feeling well and was told it would be an additional $1 charge and with NO ICE it would be an additional $2. I didn't see this on the menu and one girl enforces this and the other didn't so it's confusing. It's extremely awkward being here . Hopefully things do change this was once a great place .

Yelp
I bookmarked this location I think perhaps after seeing an article about them. We were on our way home from a funeral and stopped by. I had the loaded tater tots and the horchata thai tea. The loaded tater tots were delicious! Just right! I've had similar elsewhere and its typically too heavy but the dish made by Chinitos Tacos was perfect. The Horchata Thai Tea was good, but I felt the Horchata flavor overpowered the Thai Tea flavor. Cute, clean and nice staff. Thanks!

Yelp
Food To-go: 3 taco combo - 2 shrimp and 1 chicken on flour tortilla. I say STICK TO THE SHRIMP, it is much more flavorful and tasty. To be quite honest, I was actually surprised on how good it was. The pictures do not do it justice because they look like basic tacos to me. The marinade of the shrimp and the flavor of their green sauce was *chef's kiss* -Elote - yummy, just how it should taste. Drink: Matcha Thai Tea which is basically a green Thai tea that you order from the Thai restaurants and it tasted good also. My bf had a carne asada taco there and said it was good too. He also liked the Horchata Thai Tea and knew not to save me some because I don't like the taste of Cinnamon. He was there for a car meet and he stated they stayed opened a little later for that which was nice of them. They ran out of brussel sprouts and corn tortillas so I hope to go back to try these items. Can't wait to see this place in person and eat their food fresh. (Raincheck for the ambiance and how the place looks.)

Yelp
OMG what a find! Was in the city for my son's wrestling tournament and happen to pass by and wife spotted the catchy name. Bro soooooo much flavor. In the area got try them out! Will come back to Lakewood for this spot!

Yelp
I'll get to the point. Very clear point. Drive here , get here do what you can to get here and try whatever is on the menu because this place is so freaking delicious im convinced that they can overcharge me and I wouldn't care, it's that good!!!!!!!

Yelp
Food: Breakfast burrito served between 11am 2pm. The one I had was with sausage, onions, eggs, potatoes, cheese, and spicy aoli. Also ordered Cojita tator tots. Ambiance: very hip spot. Thank God for the AC on this summer day. Nice relaxed feel to have something new. Service: friendly an engaging. Chef very cool and friendly. Parking: free parking lot parking. Right off the 605 freeeway.

Yelp
By far one of the most unique tacos I have tried. I typically get the burnt cheese tacos. I can easily eat 3-4 tacos proudly! Customer service is also amazing. There is enough parking and room to eat in door. I have taken take out and ate inside. Both times my food was perfect. I have gotten other meals here but I am blanking on the names. I will update this review once I can remember because each plate was filled with its own flavors, and they did not disappoint.

Yelp
So, a coworker recommended this place a while ago but I had not tried it until recently. I am submitting this review after coming here for a second time. The first time I came by it was on a weekend so they seemed to be getting ready for a catering gig. I ordered the Barbacoa and carne asada on the first go around. The second time I got the 3 taco combo, all 3 carnitas, and an order of the elote, cause you know us Mexicans and our elote- it is a must. Let's start with the dissection of what you come here for, the food. Barbacoa and asada, quite good. Tender meats and very flavorful. The carnitas, a bit dry and bland. All of them had a bit of a sweetness to them which is not unpleasant but not expected from savory tacos. I chose the corn tortilla being a traditional type of gal, and the tortilla is thick, yet it does not hold up well. Probably because the meats do come quite saucy, but still. The flavor if the tortilla is not bad, but lacks practicality since it falls apart. Now, for the additional toppings, not traditional, but good. They add pickled red onions (which I enjoyed) and cotija cheese (also did not mind at all). As for the elote, I have Mexican standards for elote or esquite (pronounced eh-skee-teh) and these did pretty well. It is literally corn sliced off the cobb with mayo, cotija cheese, butter and chile if you like. Nothing extraordinary. They add Japanese mayo instead of regular one which also made it a little sweet. So, overall, I can see how this is considered gourmet. The quality of meats is very good and the tastes are very different than what you expect from your traditional tacos. Everything was a tad sweet which threw me off. The Spanish rice was okay. The Pinto beans were salty. A bit disappointed with the salsas. They were again, a bit sweet bit not spicy. And I am a total wimp with spicy. If you are looking to try something new, give it this place a shot. Just be aware the prices are "gourmet" prices. $12.50 for the 3 taco combo with very small sides of rice and beans, but the tacos were very good portioned on meats. If you are looking for some down and dirty traditional tacos, this is not the place. Probably more like a place to impress that first date ;) Service was great. The place is not necessarily the most welcoming or somewhere I would want to stay to eat though. It felt a bit overcrowded and there were boxes in the dining area making it feel even more crowded. Some cool wall art though.

Yelp
Came in here right before closing for the first time. Knowing that Ida's Sweets sells their delicious cookies here too we were excited for our meal. My wife had the street tacos and scarfed them down. The Burnt Cheese Tacos were delicious and perfect for my keto diet. Causal, friendly and good food. What's not to like. And don't forget Ida's Sweets Cookies to top it off!

Yelp
Yooooooooooooooooo! This place is seriously Fire!!! Thanks to the homegirl Kira introducing me to this spot, the price is definitely higher then alot of the typical burrito joint but what they include in the meal and the amount of ingredients they use definitely justifies the price. For many years Ive stayed loyal to Sonoras for carne sada burritos because every time I try another taco or burrito spot I can always say nothing can compare to the quality of the meat they use for the burrito, but I now found a spot that I can change it up sometimes when im craving a burrito, plus that aioli sauce they have is definitely fire! It reminds me of this taco x burrito shop in San Diego called Lucha libre taco shop which is also very famous to most of San Diego locals it also has over 8k reviews and only think I liked about that spit was the sauce, But now I found another taco x burrito spot with amazing sauce! Almost forgot to mention how bomb that thai tea x horchata drink they have, who would have thought horchata and thai tea would be an amazing mix??? lmao and Ambiance is ok nothing wrong with the quiet and the restroom was clean! The service was amazing thanks to KIRA!!! Will be coming back again and again yeadigg!!!

Yelp
The parking situation is pretty annoying, but the food is worth the hassle. First off, the store owners are class acts. They are very friendly and nice to everybody who was at the store when I visited. If I remember correctly, I didn't see prices on the menu. They gave me a sample of their tea - and it was a yummy mix between thai-iced tea and horchata. I ended up ordering a carnitas burrito with ginger jasmine rice and cajun black beans. It also came with some pickles and spicy sauces. The burrito was good! It was really light and was made up of just a tortilla, meat, rice, and beans. The tortilla being slightly browned and toasty was a nice touch. The service was super quick and the food did make me full. Next time I visit I want to try their pork belly tacos!

Yelp
My friend has always hyped this place up, so we all decided to meet here and catch up. I never knew that such a great Mexican Asian fusion place was so close by me; I always go to Cassidy's Corner Cafe next door, but I'll know to come here next time I'm craving any Mexican food. I got the elotes which were so fire! I didn't end up trying any tacos, but I tried the other things my friends got (brussel sprouts and cauliflower, tater tots) and they were all really good. Service is also great, they gave us an extra drink! Their Jamaica Lychee drink is also super delicious and refreshing. The horchata thai tea and matcha thai tea were also just as good. We went at around 2:30pm on a Tuesday, and it was pretty empty with a few customers coming in and out. Overall I think it's a nice place to eat and chill with your friends. The owners are also super friendly, I believe this store is family owned as well. I'll definitely be coming back!

Yelp
The shrimp tacos here are FIRE!! I love shrimp tacos and this place as some of the best! I got the taco combo plate with rice and beans + 3 tacos, two shrimps and one asada! Let me tell you the shrimp tacos are the star of the show here! I can only imagine how good the burrito version is. I will find out soon! I would assume you can't go wrong with any of the protein options though. Amazing tacos, yummy sauces, excellent chill atmosphere. The place ain't big! Just a couple of tables i believe 4 or 5 and that's pretty much it located in a nice area of two close to the cerrtios mall. Definitely check this place out! They been open for 5 years and i barely found this gem.

Yelp
Loved the vibes inside and the customer service. Their menu selection is a lot but they don't mind helping you by making suggestions. I couldn't believe how good this food was. Can't wait to go back!

Yelp
Hubby and I have been wanting to try this place, and today we finally did! It's in the same plaza as UPS, 7-11, and Fuma nail salon. Plenty of plaza parking available. The interior was very welcoming, clean, and hip. The owner was soooo nice and gave me so many good recommendations (also drink samples, yum!) They have a wide variety of menu items, including tacos, burritos, drinks, and appetizers. You can customize your burritos with different types of meat, rice, and even beans. Their food was Mexican but with an Asian twist (fried cauliflowers?! Thai tea!? Pineapple ginger drinks!?) They also apparently specialize in keto food (so like instead of tortillas with your tacos, they use burnt cheese. It looks tasty but unless you're actually on a keto diet, i highly suggest that you don't skip out on the tortillas because they are bombz). We got the asada burrito, three happy hour tacos (shrimps, asada, and carnitas), and cauliflowers for to go. Yes, you read it right. They have happy hour Tuesday- Friday!! We loved everything we brought home- flavorful and yet not too overpowering, fresh, and unique, and we are already planning to come back like tomorrow lol. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Saw this place while driving hungry and stopped by to try it out. So glad i did. Had the brussel sprouts to start and the were fire. So flavorful and garlicy. We tried the barbacoa, asada and carnitas tacos. We really wanted to try the shrimp but they were all out. Everything was amazing. Definitely going back to try the shrimp and all the other items on their menu. Ps. They also offer great aguas with great combinations.
