Chin's Szechwan - Del Mar

Big portions packed with flavor. The walnut shrimp has a lot of shrimp and is totally worth it. The kung pao dishes are a little on the sweet side but they're delicious.

We went to the Del Mar location, which was located in a nice area. The food was amazing. We got the hot and sour soup. It only comes in a 32 oz bowl, but you get smaller bowls to split up if it's being shared. The consistency of the soup was thicker than the soup I'm used to. That was a welcomed surprise. We also got the salt and pepper wings to share. They are cooked to order and delicious. For our entrees, we got the Shanghai Crispy Pork with steamed rice and the Chicken Chop Suey. We ordered way too much food! The entire experience was excellent. I would gladly come back here again just for that soup.

Excellent! The Honey Walnut Shrimp was delicious. Very fresh and tender shrimp. Schezuan Beef was also fantastic. We had a few other things as well. Everything was 5 star for sure.

First time I’ve ever had Chin’s. Heard good things so I finally decided to give it a try and I was not disappointed. The service was great and the food was delicious. Highly recommend the salt and pepper wings, the honey walnut shrimp and tangerine chicken. Will definitely be ordering again from here soon!

I have ordered Door Dash from here before and found the food to be plentiful, hot, and very tasty. I finally had the opportunity to eat here in person. I ordered the lunch special of szechwan string beans. For less than $20 I not only received a large portion of green beans, but a big scoop of fried rice, egg drop soup, marinated cucumbers, a cheese wonton, a spring roll, a sliced orange, and the obligatory fortune cookie. The service from Angela was swift and very sweet. The owner greeted me and wished me a pleasant day on my way out, asking me to return. I will definitely take him to on that offer soon. By the way, there is a free parking area behind the little shopping center, making eating here very convenient.

Eating a lot of their food past four months through Grub Hub due to being unable to walk. It’s always excellent. Tonight’s was super excellent, chop suey with beef extra snow peas and Napa cabbage. Been cooking for over 60 years and this is one of the best and healthiest things I have ever eaten. Also a bargain…one order is enough for three meals!!! Thank you Chins!!!💥

Best Chinese food in the area, the staff’s always so kind and it’s in a prime location! I bring my parents every year when they visit.
