Chipotle Adds Cauliflower Rice to Menu for Limited Time in 2021 | Eater

"Beginning in early 2021 the chain rolled out a limited-time cauliflower rice nationwide — grilled and riced cauliflower tossed with cilantro, lime, and salt — offered as a plant-powered alternative. It costs about $2 more than regular rice, and a promotion waives delivery fees on app and online orders of $10 or more that include the cruciferous rice. The option was highly requested (about one in three new-menu-item requests) and tests in Denver and Wisconsin in July 2020 showed roughly a third of cauliflower-rice orders came from new or infrequent customers, suggesting it helped attract incremental business. This review is for the new chipotle that opened up on Glendale Ave next to the new car wash. 10/10, the customer service was great my portions are great, and the store was really clean. I love chipotle ! W chipotle- keep it up

You can see from the pictures attached the disappointing quality and quantity served. I mean do you pay $6 for this tiny amount of guacamole, the chicken was hardly added it tasted vegetarian . I do not know what are they trying to achieve by doing this. Chipotle is all I eat and have had this issue multiple times and feel cheated.

I had a great experience here. The portions were good, the food was exceptional, the staff was friendly and direct and fast. My only complaint is I had so few chips for the amount of guac I ordered. But this has been a thing with other locations too. Bummer.

This rating is based on going twice within a week. The first time we went, the staff was very nice and accommodating. The second time, were rushed and food was SKIMPY. SO I guess it just depends on who's working or how they feel that day.

ordered a bowl with literally half the ingredients as I did not want a huge bowl. so my bowl was $11.25 and the order taker rings it up as $18 and change. i asked her how much a bowl costs and she stated she did not know (prices are not posted in this location). after two workers came over to help her the order came down to $14.90 only to find she added a side a guacamole, which i did not order. had to call customer service, what 18 mins only to be told to email a copy of my receipt.

I've been here three times and some of the reviews are right but its mostly fine. 2/3 times the portion were full, service quick and place clean. Only once was the filling really skimped on.

They refused to make more food after 8:30pm. Saying that it was to close to closing time and no more chicken would be cooked. They were moving me quickly through the establishment. It was rude and I did not enjoy the experience. And I love chipotle.

My husband really likes chipotle! We've had a few experiences where the beans and rice are undercooked but overall decent for fast food.

It's my birthday today, I tried to sign up for rewards to get the birthday burrito they offer but I was told they didn't offer this only a side of guac for birthdays. Also there is something with the app that did not present the QR code for me to redeem the birthday burrito. I was polite and asked if I could just show them my ID with my birthday on it but they told me it didn't matter. This restaurant (among many other franchises) throws away lots of food that was not used anyway. I don't understand why something couldn't be worked out with this in mind. Anyway, was disappointed with what happened. Hope this doesn't happen to anyone else.

I went to this location when it first opened and was really pleased with my meal. The staff seemed happy and excited and it looked clean and the food was fresh. Went back today and immediately noticed the floor was dirty when I walked in. The person taking the order was pretty unpleasant. No hello or smile and she gave me one word answers when I asked questions. Same blah attitude from the other workers I encountered. Got home and opened my daughter's steak taco meal. The steak was EXTREMELY fatty. I had to discard several pieces of an already small portion. My bowl with Barbacoa was ok, except again, hardly any meat and one of the large pieces that I had was all fat as well. Will not be back.

If you're mobile ordering at this location, be prepared to miss several ingredients that you have selected. Protein portions are pathetic and not very consistent. I have ordered from this location on 5 separate occasions and never once got my order right.

This location is EXTREMELY filthy. The dining area was dirty and unkept. The food area was so messy. The floors are dirty. ALL of the garbages were overflowing. I can't help but wonder if this is the condition of the restaurant what is the condition of the food. NO THANK YOU!!!

I had great luck at this location. Good portions and my food is exactly what I ordered. My only issue was slightly stale chips but I also went towards the end of the night.

This location was horrible. The store was just sloppy with food scattered everywhere. I was placing an order for somone else and there was one other customer there. She couldn't be done with her order and kept commandeering the lone employee preparing orders. There were two other employees who didn't seem to be doing anything. One was the cashier I guess because he never left the register even though there was no one paying for anything. He could have started my order, but instead just stood there watching the ongoing disaster. This place runs like a dump. Compare to the Culver's about 100 feet away which runs like clockwork.

Slow service. Ordered online but I had to wait in the drive thru for 14 minutes. The girl came to window didnt apologize. Just acted like everything was fine. Several cars was behind me. Not a good place to visit if you are on a scheduled lunch. It was definitely busy. Staff was just meh. Too dark inside for me! Tacos were okay. Queso was delicious. Brown rice was terrible. It will be a very long time before I return!!!

Chipotle is sabotaging me. I had a really hot date later on tonight, it was going to be so much fun. Although, I was greeted today at 1:47am with the horrendous action of throwing up at my hot dates house. Fortunately, she is kind enough to get me some electrolytes and a barf bucket. I will NEVER in my 15 years of living, come back anymore. this was a horrible experience for me and my hot date. I hope this Chipotle will get reevaluated and shut down. Qdoba is calling my name. Bye Chipotle!

this chipotle is horrible. the burrito is either half the size that it should be or it's wrapped so poorly that it falls apart. the burrito bowls also skimp out on portions, never order here online because they will take advantage of that and give you extremely small portions. not worth the money, please do not ever go here!!! i will never come back.

DO NOT go here. Definitely don't mobile order. We waited over 25 minutes past our confirmed pick up time and still didn't get anything. We went through the line 4 times asking when they would be ready and finally asked for a refund which they refused to do. They said to go to the AI website which was not working to get refunded. We left without our meal and they kept our $35 and change. Others in the store were having the same experience. One customer actually got walked out because they were so upset. Horrible management, will be and should be out of business soon. Not a good name for Chipotle.

I ordered the carnitas bowl and it was delicious I enjoyed the meal my only concern was no chips I ordered what I thought were xtra chips I believe it was only 12 chips in the bag and it cost heck I don't remember but I paid too much for 12 chips now I know what to expect I'll get a regular burrito and not the bowl

So disappointed with this location. I got off of work, and triple checked what time this location closed. I looked on Apple Maps, looked on the website, and called the store. All sources said the store closed at 11. I got there at 10:02 and walked in, and they were already cleaning up. Understandable, they'd want to get ahead on closing duties, I get it. I go up to the counter and they tell me they're closed. I told them that online and when I called, it said the store hours were that they closed at 11 PM. All they did was stare at me, and I walked out. 3 minutes later, another person walked in, and got food! I was so annoyed and taken aback by how rude the workers were. Why did they refuse me service saying they were closed (even though I triple checked that they were open still), and then served the next person that walked in! So so rude, will be contacting management about this. I'd give 1 star if I could.
