I’m writing this after giving this location way too many chances. I’m a tired 9–5 employee who just wanted a simple Chipotle dinner after work, and this experience was the final straw.
This is the only Chipotle near me, and every time I come in, there’s something off. Whether it’s bad attitudes, poor service, or mistakes that get brushed off. Today was worse, especially since the manager was present and completely ignored the behavior of her staff.
I had no cell service all day, so I had to pay with cash. The employee making my bowl gave me a very small scoop of steak. When I politely asked for a little more (because it was clearly light), I later found out he rang it up as double protein without telling me. I also ordered a side of guac because I had a reward to use.
At checkout, my total came to $22 for ONE bowl, which is insane. I entered my rewards number, but the cashier didn’t apply my reward and didn’t seem to care. Since I only had a $20 bill and no phone to pay digitally, I had to scramble to find quarters for the remaining $2.
Instead of being understanding, the cashier acted visibly annoyed, made exaggerated sighing noises, rolled her eyes, and said something to her coworkers that was clearly about me. It was uncomfortable and unnecessary.
I’ve overlooked bad experiences here before and just stopped coming for a while, but now I genuinely don’t want to come back. The poor attitudes, lack of accountability, and total disregard for customers never change. Why would I want to support a business that makes customers feel like a burden. Especially when I’m just trying to give them my money?
